561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why has GAS token been pumping harder yet the Native coin NEO isn't? on: November 12, 2023, 11:48:03 PM
Look at market cap not price. Gas marketcap = $130 million while NEO marketcap = $900 million so gas is cheaper than NEO just like it was before. The price thing that you noticed is because gas supply that changed over years.
Market cap when it comes to crypto doesn't mean much because of the ever-changing circulating supplies. To show that things have been very different since their last all-time highs in 2018

NEOs Market cap was at $2Billion, Gas' marketcap was at $800M.
562  Economy / Reputation / Re: How easy do you think it is to invest in trust feedback in order to swindle? on: November 12, 2023, 10:30:43 PM
Not that easy because a scammer would have to spend lots of Bitcoins just gain exposure and maybe some reputation, also having members use your platform to send huge amounts of money takes a very long time, but it's mostly with newbies. Old members in this forum prefer old trusted mixers. I think a one smartmixer.io pulled off such an exit scam and took someone's 10 BTC.

He made a mistake to mixer all the Bitcoins at once through a not so trusted mixing service that was still new.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why has GAS token been pumping harder yet the Native coin NEO isn't? on: November 11, 2023, 07:23:09 AM
Back in the day when NEO was still a hot item and was also at one point dubbed the Ethereum killer, the Price of NEO was higher than that of its utility token NEO gas. To put this into context. On 15th January 2018, NEO recorded an all-time high of $198 while NEO GAS recorded an all-time high of $92 on the same day

NEO price was 3 times over that of NEO GAS and yet today GAS is trading at the same price with NEO and even sometimes higher than it.

Why is GAS pumping hard and NEO so much? Have the people trading a NEO utility token GAS decided to believe in it more than native coin NEO?
564  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: changenow.io They are robbers. on: November 10, 2023, 10:34:58 PM
Off-topic quickly, but I just checked them out and they have a very limited offering and I've never heard of them before, so I kind of wonder if they have an established reputation.
They have been in operation since 2014. Probably one of the few old exchanges left that refused to introduce KYC on their platforms. They only became more reorganized recently when they started a signature campaign. IMO, I would trust them more than the like of Changenow, Changelly etc.

I saw the status of the issue on BestChange. They (Changenow.io) claim they have refunded OP his funds. It would be nice if OP came around and updated us.
565  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Forget about exchanger search! Use BestChange! on: November 10, 2023, 10:28:33 PM
Is there a possibility of finding out why Changenow is disabled on your monitoring? Does it have anything to do with the changenow.io They are robbers case, as far as I can see, this is the last feedback that still has the status as unresolved.
It probably has something to do with the case.

So Changenow.io responded a few hours back claiming that they refunded the customer who was complaining. He would have to confirm with us if they refunded him. I really don't understand why the support had to make it so hard for the customer even after he submitted what was required of him.

566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice of propfirm on: November 10, 2023, 09:39:28 PM
Can't you just get it?

We are tired of you shilling your "prop firm" here and there using your alternate accounts. it's probably scam (Cryptofundtrader.com)
I mean just look at your post history - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=3550769;sa=showPosts

And then you alternate accounts

567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Bitcoin Wallet for Android stopped synchronizing with the blockchain on: November 07, 2023, 11:58:32 PM
The main problem is that the developer seems to be completely inactive. I still did not receive any reply to my emails. He is also not active on the forum anymore. And on GitHub I see some features / issues planned for years to be implemented but which are still not implemented.

There's some activity in the past few months, but not as much as it was midway this year. It might be worth a short opening an issue there.
Maybe it's because not, so many people use the wallet?

Yet the wallet is still functional, it is still used and it is still recommended on bitcoin.org. All these are very weird...
Is there a place where a suggestion can be made Bitcoin.org regarding the wallets, or they just choose what to put there and what not to put?
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Memeland Airdrop on: November 07, 2023, 11:40:17 PM
I saw several big projects listing this token or participating with it (Pyth network adding it's price feed, Pika protocol listing it). Pretty huge deal for token that has no use whatsoever.
The hype is meant to bring in clueless and excited newbies to buy the tokens that will hold no value in the next few months due to Fear Of Missing out while the early buyers or what I usually call money grabbers walk away with the valuable Bitcoins, Ethereum, USDT.
They always follow the same pattern.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: My trading method it works and it's easy on: November 07, 2023, 11:25:44 PM
Classic pump and dump scam, and it's an old trick we know here. It was rife during the 2017 bull run period, and Bittrex was the exchange this pump and dump scammer would mostly use. The trick is, they buy the coins in advance and then announce that the coin is going to pump at a specific time. When the time arrives, gullible people rush to buy the coins because of FOMO and in the due process, the scammers unload the useless shitcoin on them and then move on to the next one.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Brave Browser installs a VPN service without your permission on: November 07, 2023, 11:07:13 PM
I stop using Brave browser when Binance acquired them, started asking for KYC and filling up their browser with ads plus pushing unnecessary notifications. They went completely the opposite of what they had initial promised because of money greed.
Firefox still remains the best browser In my opinion.
571  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase delisting BSV :) on: November 07, 2023, 10:52:50 PM
Took them so long lol. Are there people still holding this shitcoin?  Grin

Agreed. However, why did exchanges list this BSV? It is head shaking because everyone knew already that it is a scam. The listing might have given it an appearance that it was being supported in the community. This is how scams trick people. If it is listed in reputable exchanges then it might not be a scam type of attitude.
Exchanges always care about the profits they will make from trading fees and withdrawal charges. They don't give a damn about the legitimacy of the project. They only start to think about delisting the shitcoins once the trading volumes have plummeted.
572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im short trader Im new here but been long time in trading on: November 07, 2023, 10:27:22 PM
Are you simply choosing to share your successful discoveries or are you offering your formula for everyone's consideration?  If the latter, you can describe it in more detail so that forum users can evaluate your formula. Believe me, there are very competent users here. And in general, in my experience, usually those who have developed any more or less profitable strategy are unlikely to share it.
I went over binance again and i found the other coin for good short so i posted for my followers to entry it's YGG/USDT
this one is next to doge wich one have price higher then level of overbought the maximum level according my measure formule

So Mr. or Ms Short trader, You said you made a call for your followers to short YGG/USDT. Based on the time you made this post, it means the call was made somewhere on the rectangle right behind the yellow crossing lines.

What leverage did you use?

I hope your followers had their stop losses on, otherwise it's not looking good for them  Grin

573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Stuck Transactions since Feb 18, 2023 and all solutions failed on: November 07, 2023, 12:25:36 AM
@Bitcoin_Arena
Where on https://www.arkhamintelligence.com/ is this tool you used and is it usable for free to some minor extend?
It's a tracer, You will see it at the top of your dashboard once you sign up. Just like a block explorer, the tool is free if you know what to do. But OP can create a bounty in the platform and other people will do the tracing for him in exchange for an incentive (paid in ARKM tokens)

Alternatively, he can try other contacting other blockchain analysis services like Chainlysis at a price.
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Stuck Transactions since Feb 18, 2023 and all solutions failed on: November 06, 2023, 11:51:52 PM
there is alot of transactions worth in total about 500k has the same condition so we need to get the final address that the scammer used
If your client can afford to use one of those crypto tracing services, then I suggest he uses them to trace the last known address of that scammer
I just did a quick look through using Arkham and after along trail, I ended up with two address, One depositing to a remitano address and the other to a Binance address.

This is a screenshot of part of the trail

Please hire an expert.

575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Stuck Transactions since Feb 18, 2023 and all solutions failed on: November 06, 2023, 10:57:49 PM
so this is the address of the scammer address bc1qergs08g635azsy6fnfggnpqs2hpme6k8vkzv0s right?
There is a chain of addresses/transaction after that address in a short time frame. It appears as though the person was trying to hide the transaction trail.

How did you end up in this situation, was the “client” trying to pay you for some goods or services?
576  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can anyone recommend an event where one can test their trading skills? on: November 06, 2023, 10:38:45 PM
can anyone recommend an event where one can test their trading skills?
By event, are you talking about trading competitions like OKX Summer Trading Competition or Bybit's WSOT 2023 or are you looking for a platform to do mock/ demo trading. For the latter this is available in most platforms such as Binance, Bybit, MEXC etc.
577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can this be possible? on: November 06, 2023, 10:14:12 PM
Since this post was made on Sunday, I believe the glitch has something to do with Daylight saving time. If you look carefully, the drawing on the graph fell back an hour from 2AM and then went on normally.

Daylight saving time for 2023 will end on Sunday with most Americans having to “fall back” for the biannual time change and turn their clocks back an hour — and it looks likely to remain that way for the foreseeable future

Will we "fall back" in 2023?
Yes. Americans in most states will have to turn their clocks back an hour on Sunday, Nov. 5, when standard time resumes. It will last until the second Sunday of March 2024, when daylight saving time starts again.

579  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im short trader Im new here but been long time in trading on: November 06, 2023, 09:37:50 PM
A trader who says he has an awesome working and profitable strategy but then goes to look for members to join his VIP group for a fee gives me a clue that something is wrong. Mostly, that the strategy doesn't work at all, and he is just looking for people to collect fees from and sell them the lie.

People with excellent strategies don't even bother talking about or selling them off because they can make a tone of money out of it in silence. And about shorting coins that are overbought, it's not a secret. Just go check out the funding rates of coins that have been pumping recently and are now in the overbought level. You will see a pattern.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Best wallet for Android? on: November 06, 2023, 06:23:52 PM
Like you I also think trust wallet is the most secure because this trust wallet supports all platform tokens.
You think?

Then you probably don't know much about wallet security or haven't even read through all the replies in this thread. You chose to stay ignorant. That's on you.

Moreover you can use these android wallets. eToro,
Exodus, Electrum, Mycelium,Coinbase Wallet.
eToro is a wallet? And who the hell uses Coinbase wallet?
