1521  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Intersango owes over 50 million dollars in Bitcoin to thousands of users! on: January 07, 2023, 07:58:07 AM
Never had of the exchange, but according to some posts on Bitcointalk, it seems it was an old exchange. The website is inaccessible right now, so am not sure when it went offline.

I think what you want to do to write a full scam accusation including all the details and proofs on what happened

Use this board ---> Scam Accusations

and this guide ---> Scam Report Format (Use it to make scam reports properly)
1522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: SportsBetting portal launch Without money? on: January 06, 2023, 12:33:49 PM
Bad Idea, and I recommend you to discourage them from setting up the casino.

With such kind of business, you can make money minus investing in a lot of money unless if your intention is to scam. Search up BitLucy.com in the forum and read what happened. They did the same exact thing, thinking they would make money off players, but it was a complete fail.
1523  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: First Exchange to Bite the Dust in 2023, Juno on: January 06, 2023, 11:15:03 AM
Someone should keep a record/obituary of all of the exchanges that defunct throughout this year. At least Juno has urged withdrawals and it has not completely ceased for an instant loss for the user, like FTX
Cryptowisser's Exchange graveyard used to do a great job keeping track of shutdown exchanges a couple of years back, but lately they don't seem to update their list quite often. For example, since the FTX saga, they haven't listed that many exchanges that have either shutdown or gone bankrupt such as Blockfi

It would be good to see the effect of Luna crash and FTX scandal on other crypto exchanges
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LastPass data breach caused $53K in Bitcoin stolen, lawsuit alleges on: January 06, 2023, 10:48:12 AM
Not trying to condone the lastPass data breach incident, but the person who lost the Bitcoins was also plain stupid.

1. What is the point of removing your bitcoins from a centralized exchange, keeping it in a supposed noncustodial wallet only to save the wallet's keys in another third party app?

2. On realizing that there was a data breach, the best thing he would have done was to sweep the bitcoins off the wallets he thinks might have leaked to fresh addresses, but no, he thought deleting the keys from the vault was the way to go.
1525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the future of digital currencies? on: January 06, 2023, 07:57:09 AM
As technology keeps evolving, and so will all different innovations around. Bitcoin was and has been a very brilliant concept, but I think there is going to be more room for development and evolution.

I would like you to read about e-gold which was existent around (1998-2014). Not information about it, but that wiki page can help open your eyes on why Bitcoin started and how digital currencies are evolving.
1526  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crypocto on: January 06, 2023, 07:36:16 AM
Hi, posting crypto news doesn't look very well for an ANN topic, this topic should only be about the service you are providing. On the first post, it says no registration needed, but seems to me that we do need to register after all.
You must be missing something, even if you closed the tab with the exchange, you are still able to resume it with order finder without being logged in

His point is that in the Announcement, OP claims that the service does not require any registration

Why is Crypocto the best?
Rapid because you don't need to register to exchange.

But this

and the privacy policy disagree

What's the point of registration then if it is not required?
1527  Economy / Lending / Re: 17$ loan , honeygain account for collateral on: January 05, 2023, 09:34:38 AM
Honeygain account cannot act as a valid collateral because;
1. If you default the loan and the lender want to recover his lost money, how is he going to sell off that account easily?

2.
- Most valuable online accounts can easily be recovered by social engineering (the user contacting support to say they were hacked, and regain control of the account)  Examples:  Steam

This thread is a guide: [EDU] The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
1528  Other / Archival / Re: Exchange Graveyard in 2021-2022 on: January 05, 2023, 07:11:25 AM
Was expecting a lot more exchanges than covered by mainstream media to be bankrupt - but your list looks even worse than I imagined.
Maybe @Ratimov can update OP for 2022 and also add dates / tiny info on each exchange to make for a more complete summary. This is a very interesting topic and could be a great reference thread.
Not sure if he will be able to give timely updates about the different exchanges that have collapsed, stopped operations or rebranded, but I think in the OP he was just giving an example from 2021-2022 basing on the Exchange graveyard site.

If one wants to check the full list, they should check out cryptowisser.com (https://www.cryptowisser.com/exchange-graveyard/). They seem to be dedicated to tracking exchanges.
1529  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM rollbit $737.00 on: January 05, 2023, 06:54:34 AM
Why would a casino that has spent tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars to promote themselves around the internet settle for only $737? Does it make sense if they were scammers?

If you are very sure you have no multiple accounts and tell them to show you what links the accounts if possible. Is it IP addresses, device ID, betting patterns etc.?
1530  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Question on: January 05, 2023, 06:40:26 AM
Currently this known crypto casino has disabled my withdrawals.
Their reason: The Game Provider needs to confirm that there are no issues with the winner round, after that you are able to withdraw again.

Is this normal? I never heard of anything like this before.
I asked them an ETA
Their response: We do not have an exact ETA since they are a third-party company.
I have seen such cases before, but since we don't know the casino in question, the routine may or may not be normal depending on the casino you are dealing with. Have you tried contacting the game provider? I believe they have a website or customer support.

Try contacting them if it helps you with any information about the ETA.
1531  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io multi-accounting problem on: January 05, 2023, 06:29:06 AM
Did you use any VPN service to connect to the site?

If so then that could be the cause of the problem since some abusers use VPN service to create multiple accounts especially free VPN services and when you use the same service, SB might link it too through IP addresses.

You should perhaps ask them how your account is linked to the others if you are 100% sure you created no multiple accounts.
1532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Closings bountyhive? on: December 27, 2022, 11:44:29 PM
I have just checked the website of bountyhive. And it seems that they are not accepting new bounty hunters anymore. I believe the reason is some people are doing it as a job, they create multiple social media accounts to do bounties.
Why are you even wasting time with bounties advertising fake projects that will pay you in their useless tokens that have no market value at the time? You are only given the tokens after a long time in the market, most especially after the dump.

Most of the projects advertised have no future or clear goal, vision, or roadmap.
1533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can Express P2P option in NFT Marketplace Possible!!! ? on: December 27, 2022, 11:26:13 PM
Just so you know. NFTs are not like the old ordinary tokens you know about that can be easily be dumped on someone on the market. Someone actually has to be interested in your NFT in order to buy it. If there is no one willing to buy, then you won't be able top sell them off

My advice is you should completely avoid bounties that involve NFTs, the whole thing is completely useless.

1534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Tectonic Crypto? Is TONIC a Good Investment? on: December 27, 2022, 11:20:02 PM
The reason you have got over 15 views with no replies is that nobody is going to spend precious time reading paragraphs and paragraphs about a shitcoin. It's completely useless.

What I can say is that it is a bad investment.
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Staking Current Profits - Up To 20% Per Year - Can Not Exchange Instantly on: December 27, 2022, 11:00:18 PM
P.S. I invested 0.01BTC in Tether USDT staking, it is something complete different, I always can exchange Tether USDT instantly to Bitcoin, ETH, Stelar, EOS, Ripple, Doge, TRON, Monero etc. PM for the link, if interested.
Here is where we draw the link

The quoted part makes you sound like a complete scammer. Why would anyone PM you for a link. Why don't you post the link here, and we all see it?

Also, the idea of staking is messed up. It's just a huge Ponzi scheme.
1536  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Plagiarized Whitepaper - THERMOFINANCE.COM on: December 27, 2022, 08:43:51 PM
Nice catch

Projects that plagiarize white papers have nothing to offer except try to scam people.
I hope the bounty manager sees the scam accusation and responds postively by deleting and locking the thread. Supported and left a negative tag as well.
1537  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Prime Trust - what do they do? on: December 27, 2022, 06:34:01 PM
Just asking you a simple question;

What do Prime trust do that you can't do as an individual?

You chose crypto because there is an option to have full control of your funds, why then would you then go ahead and put trust in a custodial service with your crypto?
1538  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fortunejack not pay 1849 USDT on: December 26, 2022, 08:58:24 PM
What you made is not a propere scam accusation. Please try to follow the right scam reporting format and include all the necessary evidence through screenshots, block explorers etc.
I will not post screenshots of the chat. I do not want to somehow negatively affect a bookmaker with a good reputation.
Then what is the point of creating the scam accusation?

Have you tried verifying via different browsers, devices of Internet network?
1539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gogemo a Crypto-Exchanges Tracking Application to assist the average trader on: December 24, 2022, 11:40:00 PM
I will try to fix the blurry images which seems to be an issue of this forum or the images host!
it has nothing to do with the forum. Maybe the image host but most members use it here and it brings out clear images. Perhaps your screenshot software?

Try imgur.com image hosting site and see what happens
1540  Economy / Services / Re: $5000 for a Hustler who brings us 1000 real paying users on: December 24, 2022, 11:32:44 PM
Definitely not. We are bootstrapping. We don't want to announce the company name here, and we don't have the money to hire people in the US for marketing purposes.
Then why bother making an announcement here if you are not gonna name the company?

And since when does announcing the company  or service cost a cent in this forum? Am I Missing something?
Looks like you just a phobia for people from the US for nothing  Grin This forum contains people of different diversities.
