Yup.  If I believe an omnipotent, omniscient being told me to do something, I would do it.  If I get caught and punished as a result, then obviously that being wanted me to get punished; or I'm so far gone that any punishment done to me at that point would not matter.

But people did lot more damage using religion than those that done good. And I am sure religion won't last long. Next 1 or 2 centuries, after that it will became only history, or something like tradition.

If God, appeared in all of his power and glory, commanded anyone to do something - I doubt anyone would refuse.  So if God commanded me to murder homosexuals, I would.  If God commanded me to murder heterosexuals, I would.  From our point of view, we only have to obey.  After all, it could be the same sort of test God gave Abraham - to see if Abraham would sacrifice Isaac.

If the jury were to agree with the defense, Laney would immediately go into maximum security for evaluation at a state psychiatric hospital, where she could stay as long as the maximum sentence she would receive if she were convicted -- 40 years.

The jury will not be permitted to hear and consider that information.

I am an atheist, and therefore I don't believe in god. So the answer will be NO. That said, I am not particularly fond of the homosexuals. They are a big menace nowadays. These people want to include gay propaganda in the school syllabus, in order to brainwash the little children. Also, they put a lot of strain on the public healthcare, by infecting others with diseases such as HIV and Syphilis.

Its funny that you mention that gene targeting virus. I heard about this from my best friend's father back in 1988! He was employed by a pharmaceutical company that worked with the military (according to him).. But I believed him since the guy was super intelligent and articulate when he spoke. He certainly didn't come off as a tin foil hatter.
