561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 27, 2023, 11:00:50 AM
Tomorrow at 11:00 AM, we will witness the 2nd game of Gilas Pilipinas in the Asian Games. Unfortunately, I couldn't find better odds or a spread for this particular game. Perhaps I should check back early tomorrow, but if you have these odds on your sportsbook, could you share them? I might consider placing an early bet if the odds are attractive.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 26, 2023, 05:53:44 PM
And, hopefully if ever Casimero will have that chance to meet Inoue inside the ring, he will show something that will hype his
name, more on the side where opportunity might open up for after this upcoming fight.

Though i'm a fan of Casimero but i think he will lose to Inoue if ever they will meet in the future. Casimero has power, we knew that but Inoue has a granite chin, we saw that when he fought Donaire, though his jaw was broken but still he stood standing and finished the fight gallantly.

But Inoue vs Casimero will be interesting to ordinary fans and tickets might sell like hotcakes if Quadro Alas would start opening his mount and taunt Inoue.
Regardless of us being a fan though of Casimero, we still wanted to see if he can back up all his talks about Inoue. I mean he is a trash talking, very uncanny for a Filipino boxer. But I guess that's what his personality is, and again, I follow his social media accounts and it seems that he is also helping back his community with the money he earn from boxing and help his family.

Anyhow, I wouldn't be surprised if he taunt Inoue again after he wins his fight again Oguni, specially if it will be in spectacular fashion like a knockout win because that will boost his confidence againt call out Inoue for a showdown.

Boxing is a business, and no matter how good a boxer is, if he doesn't know how to market a fight and promote himself, promoters may be hesitant to keep him in the spotlight. Casimero understands that Inoue is his best chance to become a popular boxer, so he is doing everything he can to gain Inoue's attention, hoping that one day Inoue's camp will sign a contract for a fight. Casimero might have a rougher journey compared to Inoue, but we have to admit that he is the closest rival to Inoue right now, and people see that as the reason they are supporting Casimero with his taunting style.
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 26, 2023, 05:23:08 PM

We only see a few of those kinds of altercations in the NBA, and that adds to the excitement of the game, actually. Klay vs. Booker, there's no way I will side with Booker, even though he is the better player. Basketball is a team game, not an individual one. Booker may boast about his stats, but Klay will just remind him of his 4 rings. I think Booker needs to win a championship first.

If not for CP3, the Suns wouldn't be a playoff team, that's a fact.

Too bad KD is in the Suns this season and Booker couldn't prove anything as long as KD is there except by going into the NBA championship this season. anyway, if they can go to the playoffs and win against the Denver Nuggets if ever they happen to be fighting to get to the next round, then that would be a huge improvement for them because we all know after that, it would be easy games unless they gonna go against the GSW once again but this time without CP3 and that's the best game we will ever see in the NBA playoffs this season.

Winning against the Nuggets, I would say that's a major success already because the Nuggets are the defending champions. Their confidence will be overflowing if that happens. Of course, we cannot expect that other teams will be the same as last season; the Warriors and the Lakers will probably improve, and that makes their journey still unpredictable. CP3 is a good facilitator. I don't know if their individual offenses (Durant, Booker, and Beal) would be enough to make the team stronger now without CP3.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with spam and scam tokens on my wallet? on: September 25, 2023, 09:59:55 PM
Everyone has that kind of experience but what I did is to let these shitcoins live in my wallet and ignore them. For me, it is just a sort of crypto collection, we can't rid of them. You don't need to bother seeing them in your wallet but rather accept that this is expected to happen especially if your wallet address has already been exposed to these scammers. The best thing to do is to have an offline wallet and transfer all valuable coins there but yes, it cost you some money to do it.

565  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you deal with financial stress? on: September 24, 2023, 09:54:20 PM
It is stressful really if we think about it every day but what I did is to keep looking for an opportunity that would increase my income because this is the only way it help me to survive.
 - in this time when inflation is really at its worst, time to learn how to make a budget wisely because even if we have a huge salary, it won't be enough if we never use it wisely. It is quite a challenge indeed, especially if you only have a single source of income that is why we should adapt to the situation that we need to limit our expenses in order to give room for an opportunity to invest or start a small business.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No KYC vs KYC enabled casinos (Facts you need to know) on: September 22, 2023, 12:01:32 PM
If you dislike it, then simply walk away. Dealing with casinos that implement KYC is as straightforward as that. Why impose excessive discomfort on oneself?

Furthermore, everyone has their own reasons for their gambling preferences. Most individuals may only wager small amounts when enjoying a casino experience without stringent KYC requirements.

When it comes to substantial sums of money, you might have a change of heart and be willing to undergo KYC. A minor example is when you win big and wish to make a withdrawal, but the primary condition is KYC. I'm confident you'd think twice about it.

Yeah, obviously, there's a reason why KYC is imposed. One good example is that they don't allow minors. With documents being required, a minor cannot falsify the information they provide if it does not match the documents, so it serves a good purpose. If we gamble on a non-KYC casino, anyone can gamble, and it will only result in more gambling addiction problems, as minors are usually more susceptible to gambling addiction.

Nice start for Tim Cone as the coach of Gilas.

We have a win tonight.

Gilas ramps up its Asian Games prep with an 86-81 win over the KBL’s LG Sakers in an exhibition at PhilSports Arena.
From one sports. https://www.facebook.com/OneSportsPHL

Just check out the YouTube highlights of this game. I'm sure many Filipino vloggers will be posting videos with their commentaries regarding the win. I hope this trend continues, even though it's just a tune-up game; it's still very important to us.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream coins or altcoins? on: September 22, 2023, 10:31:19 AM
Top coins that follows Bitcoin market movement most of the time provide decent profits, not that much compared with a new coin that really create big pump but better enough than risking with an unknown team which most of the time can create short pump then the project die after, I also agree on that part where timing is important, while value still low and you have a good amount of spare money, buying portion by portion of your chosen asset may increase the chance of making money once the market start to pump the value of the coin / project that you select.

Yes. That's right, crypto assets do have fluctuating price movements that can change very quickly, making them a target for traders and their price movements are very much influenced by supply-demand conditions. So, if OP want to have quantity, choose Altcoin ar meme, but if you talk about quality, choose BTC and that is very mainstream because of its fundamental aspects.
Choosing the best coin like Bitcoin is preferred if you are a long-term holder. But if you are aiming for the short term, we can take the opportunity to make a profit from the price fluctuations and hype that these meme coins do. It is important to know and get familiar with the market situation as it corresponds to opportunity as well. That is why I don't just accumulate BTC alone as I also buy a few altcoins because, in this way, I could generate more profit. But I would say that it all depends on our risk appetite, some can't take more so they will just focus on BTC alone.
569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to sell? on: September 21, 2023, 09:54:31 PM
You are right to say that now is not the best time to sell both bitcoins and altcoins. Considering that the bearish trend has been going on for more than two years now, selling at the bottom is not the best idea. There is a chance that the trend will change soon and it is better to just hold the coins.
I also think that at the moment, because it would be a shame if Bitcoin and the best altcoins had to be sold at the current price, which still tends to be cheap in my opinion. So I think that keeping it well is the right choice rather than selling now which could cause regret when the bullish trend occurs again in the market. I also believe that changes for the better will soon return to the market with increasing prices in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
Because we think that bull season will come and make us hold instead of selling it now. Of course, if we are into the aim of earning more profit, I could not really think of someone to sell their Bitcoin at the current price while buying it at $28k that was certainly wrong. But if that person buys Bitcoin at $20k, well, he could still make a profit from that but because we are greedy and we are hopeful about the upcoming bull season, so we decide to wait for that rather than deciding to sell it now.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Moment of truth on: September 21, 2023, 09:34:23 PM

4. Did you also have the "get rich quick" mindset. I bet it slowed down your learning process.
That was my first thought about Bitcoin but I figured it out which is not.
And the truth is that we can only make rich from investing in Bitcoin if we are also able to spend more. More investment, more profit but also, it is accompanied by more risk. For those who would think about getting rich instantly from investing in Bitcoin, we only just fail because it was not a Ponzi scheme that promises such a thing. Many people misunderstand how it works and fall into such thinking and suffer losses in the end instead of making a profit.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 21, 2023, 01:48:37 PM
Everything really points out that he will be the favorite here and most likely accomplished a second unification champion.

I think the right term to use here is "undisputed champion".

This is an article that explains about the specific fight.Inoue Vs. Tapales For Undisputed Being Targeted For December

Inoue has become an undisputed champion in the bantamweight division, and now he is in the super bantamweight division, aiming to achieve the same.
572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does this still count? on: September 20, 2023, 09:59:04 PM
Remote is just about to happen when you are connected to the internet IMO. It means that we don't need to do any more like moving parts from our computer if we don't have any intention to connect it to the internet as hackers couldn't connect your computer as well. If you are only accessing your wallet offline, that is safe already but if we still do it online on other computers, you are still exposing it to scammers.
I would say that nothing is 100% safe but at least, we did something that would help to have less possibility of getting hacked.
573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does monitor size affect trading? on: September 20, 2023, 09:34:23 PM
I use a mobile phone and laptop for trading and I can say that the experience isn't quite the same because it was more comfortable to use a bigger screen than a smaller one. However, using a mobile phone also has an advantage as you can easily bring it and very handy but if the problem is that I often make mistakes I don't use it anymore in placing orders. For me, if we think about being successful in trading, we need also to level up and acquire stuff that we think would help us to grow like having a bigger monitor size.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 20, 2023, 10:25:51 AM
Casimero confidence is also influenced by his readiness to increase his weight to be able to meet Inoue in his class.

Casimero doesn't need to increase his weight to face Inoue because they are currently in the same division.

You can check the list of boxers and their respective rankings; the boxers we are discussing belong to the super bantamweight division.

look here:
https://www.boxingscene.com/rankings
Well right now both of them are in the super batam class weighing 122lbs but previously Casimero was only in the 118lbs batam class and when Casimero wanted to challenge Inoue always avoided the fight and moved up to the super batam class then Casimero followed and returned to give the fighting challenge he had given to Inoue before.

The WBO and WBC super classes are currently held by Inoue and Casimero the WBC is ranked 7th and the WBO is ranked 3rd and if Inoue later accepts Casimero challenge perhaps one of these titles could be taken over by Casimero.
But from several rumors circulating it seems that Inoue will be hesitant to accept the challenge from Casimero because he has the desire to unite 4 titles in one Batam super class where two titles are held by Marlon Tapales.

It was indeed unfortunate for Casimero when the fight between him and Inoue was initially announced, but it had to be postponed and later canceled due to the pandemic. However, when restrictions eased, Inoue lost interest in facing Casimero, likely because Inoue was the more popular boxer and garnered more attention. Another setback for Casimero was when he was stripped of his belt, although it was a move he was planning to make anyway. Nonetheless, it doesn't look good when a boxer is stripped of their title.

Now, the situation has taken a different turn, as Casimero is the one actively seeking a big fight. Unfortunately, it hasn't materialized yet, as the opponents he has faced recently are not in a strong position within the same division.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: September 20, 2023, 10:03:55 AM
But then again, it will have to defend his belt against the former champion Ancajas. Jerwin might have a good chance to win as Takuma is not well known to be a puncher like his brother. And Ancajas might have adjusted to 118 lbs already after his 9 successive wins at 115 lbs and most likely he had a hard time making that weight that's why he has back to back loses.

This is a fight that has fans split 50/50. There isn't a clear superior boxer in this matchup, not even the reigning champion. Jerwin has held the championship before, so he's no stranger to this situation. I'm confident he will give it his all, train diligently, and employ a smart strategy to regain his championship. In the bantamweight division, there aren't many vastly superior champions, so if Jerwin wins, he could find more success here, possibly even in an undisputed bout.
We're going to find out once the odds become available, but given that this fight is just under two months away, it's a bit early for betting odds on a match that isn't very well-known. No offense intended, this is a championship fight, but it hasn't gained much popularity, especially since Naoya (the brother of Takuma) left the division. It has gradually lost some of its appeal, and now we're paying closer attention to the super bantamweight division.
Although the odds aren't available yet, I've already predicted that Inoue will be the heavy favorite. We can't deny that the thrill of watching fights without Naoya is different, as most boxers in this division possess regular skills, unlike Inoue, who can truly dictate the pace by dominating his opponents. I've even watched some of his fights where his opponents hesitate to engage in the ring, fearing they might get hit and knocked out. So, even in what appears to be a one-sided fight, the excitement builds when Inoue's opponent faces the possibility of a knockout.
I don't believe Inoue will be the heavy favorite; perhaps a slight favorite is a more realistic assessment. Jerwin Ancajas has already made a name for himself in boxing, and we should not forget that he was a champion before. His hunger to win is still evident, and, of course, we cannot ignore his skills.

Currently, we only have comparisons to rely on (https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/bouts/789558-inoue-vs-ancajas-takuma-inoue-vs-jerwin-pretty-boy-ancajas), as there are no betting odds available yet.

One notable difference is the experience factor. Ancajas has participated in 34 fights, whereas Takuma has only been in 18.

Ultimately, it's up to the fans to judge, as we all evaluate differently based on the factors we prioritize.
576  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a boom again? on: September 19, 2023, 09:48:17 PM
Of late the price of Bitcoin has been going back up with it's current price at $26k (wonder why it didn't stay at $27k till this morning 🤔) and to me I see it as a possible step for something big to come, maybe before the end of this month, who knows this month might be better than last month.
With how the price has changed its shape of letting go of $25k for almost 3 weeks now I believe it might give us that screamer of hitting $30k in the next 2 weeks, but we should just keep our fingers crossed because it can still go back to $25k which is not healthy in the market.
I'm doubtful if it can show big changes in the next 2 weeks but still hopeful that someday we will be able to see Bitcoin reaching back to $30k again. But for now, it was still on the test side to all holders where patience was needed to the extent but if we are a weak person, I could imagine that they are now thinking about selling.
In the current situation, instead of thinking negatively, we'd rather think about buying more while it was cheap as sooner or later, a bullish price will come next.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Just HODL But HODL Wisely and Securely on: September 19, 2023, 09:20:21 PM
Hold and just use the right wallet where to put our crypto. Many people have fallen into the wrong wallet due to the number of crypto wallets that can be found on the internet and it is really confusing which one is legit and can be trusted.
Yes, hold wisely and don't rush doing this instead, spend time doing research just to make sure that we are using the right wallet where to store our coins, or else, we're just throwing it away to these scammers. Avoid learning from making mistakes first...
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 19, 2023, 02:09:48 PM

It will really be bad for the image of Casimero if he gets knockout by Naoya Inoue. However, we have seen great fighters losing to Inoue so at least Casimero gets his chance against Inoue (if ever they will fight).

Yes, I would also like to see Inoue at least stay in this division for good and fight not just Casimero but other contenders as well like Luis Nery so that it can really cemented his legacy at 122 lbs before moving to another weight class that he wants to conquer.

This situation could imply one thing: Casimero's journey might face obstacles. His popularity largely stems from his winning streak, and there's ongoing anticipation that he'll eventually face Inoue. While the majority believes Casimero would lose, it's worth noting that Casimero has been unpredictable in the past and has triumphed as an underdog. So, it wouldn't be surprising if he managed to defeat Inoue, who is expected to be the heavy favorite.

Have you noticed that the names Casimero and Inoue are still frequently discussed? It appears they are considered among the best fighters in their division.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 19, 2023, 01:07:27 PM
Yes its good to part ways if both the management and players is not happy. For pushing this guy to remain on their team it will just create locker room toxicity and it can affect the whole chemistry of the team so I don't really get it why Sixers and Hawks choose to retain this players while they are already leave some solid statement that they don't like to play on their current team anymore.  I think this is not all about money or brotherhood anymore since maybe there decision is based on which team can give them a ring and that gives them big pressure knowing that they don't want to end their career without acquiring a ring since this is big achievement for some players.

The team's current actions seem like they're taking chances. They're aware that they're not succeeding in what they're doing, but they haven't opted for the worst possible solution. Trading Harden for players they're not satisfied with would be equivalent to letting him play, perhaps even worse. I'm confident they're simply waiting for the right timing. As of now, with no good offers on the table, it looks like he'll continue to play.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects. on: September 18, 2023, 09:32:09 PM
Investing in new projects were of high risk than investing on a known project. The top altcoins on the market gives the increased chance of profiting whereas we don't know what happens with the new projects. This can reach big or it could drop down in no time. For this reason most of the time people never suggest to invest on new projects. Even if someone wants to invest, it is good to go with the amount what one can afford to loss.
People had to think and look for a gem that would make them focus on new projects rather than planning to invest in old and know coins. Well, that was their choice either and what will happen to them will serve as their experience which could also change their usual approach towards new projects just like the OP presented to this thread. We can't blame them either because many investors have become rich from investing in hyped projects which gives them the idea despite the risk.
