581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.8 Required Update on: September 14, 2014, 08:30:00 AM
some good thing happened on the DOGE.Looks like some big whales is doing something

There is never good news when whales are doing something Wink.
Price manipulation is the worst thing that a coin has to go through.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BETA LAUNCHED] First Easy-to-use Coin on: September 14, 2014, 08:26:36 AM
nothing new

And there will be none , just a pump so the idiots that bought olympiccoin can dump their useless coins to some other stupid investors.

Have you believed that "better than paypal" stuff for even a second?
583  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 4.5% daily return... What idiot believes this? on: September 14, 2014, 08:21:45 AM
I would like a 4.5% daily return.  Seriously, who wouldn't  like it? However, it is not true and a scam.

Get real people.

4,5 is only for those with high investments(20k+, if I'm wrong). For the low tier it is only 3%

I think people will get it, the doubt is how long they will keep receiving

Do you honestly believe that there is actually an investment that pays you 3% per day?
584  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CryptcoMiner.com - Earn 3%-4.5% Daily from your investment on: September 14, 2014, 08:20:17 AM
I got a feeling that this will turn into scam in Next 3 days...! they have launched a new plan 130% after 24 hours sounds very fishy. Anyone who gives it a shot must understand that they might not receive anything back .

Honestly I am curios why they have been running it for so long. It either that they already in a profit if hey run now and they can wait for another few "investors" with the brain of a chicken to lose their money or they haven't actually received too much btc and they are trying desperate to get the idiots and close the shop in profit.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Official Sexcoin Thread - New MANDATORY upgrade: KGW Timewarp attack FIX on: September 14, 2014, 08:16:35 AM
For one, Sexcoin is not manipulated, yes the price has gone steadily down from its entry to btw pair on cryptsy but it is just gaining a history. A coin that is not a fake and doesn't just come and go.

A history of going down , not that attractive

What makes a coin strong, the development and people behind it.

What Sexcoin needs to be a strong coin? Exactly that, people and development behind it. The core team has not given up on this. But with just a handful of guys keeping the coin alive, any of us will understand it is hard to make any progress.

People means usually more than two Wink

The coin is there, can be mined, the wallets are there and can be used, the stores are there and you can buy sex related items with it. I know I have, and I know of people that have also.

The same usage and the same store(s) as 6 months ago.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is no longer the biggest crypto currency. on: September 14, 2014, 08:08:57 AM

mqwBTC is not even a real crypto , just another way some "smart" people are going to get more money from idiots.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple pay will make bitcoin (even more) useless. Let's deal with it. on: September 13, 2014, 04:11:59 PM

with PayPal and Google wallet you can send money to everyone in the world without permission already.

Paypal , google wallet , webmoney are services
Bitcoin is a currency.

Paypal can use bitcoins , google wallet can use bitcoins.

It's not applepay or paypal vs bitcoin is fiat money vs bitcoin.

Also , they forget about the 200 years they payed tribute to the golden horde;). Or the destruction left by Crimean Tatars, the Swedish conquest and polish occupation.

Have you forget about the Ottoman rule in Romania? Romania was under Muslim rule for many centuries and many of the ethnic Romanians were taken away to Turkey as Janissaries and other type of slaves. Even the USA was under British rule before they got independence. So what is the point in mentioning about the golden horde, which was completely destroyed by the Russians in 1480?

Whataboutism at the max

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whataboutism

And have you forgot about the 5000 years the Looney Tunes demanded tribute from your country ?

The point is that the Russian propaganda machine only tells about the times when they where victorious , not about their defeats.

589  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donetsk, Kharkov, Lugansk - way to Russia. on: September 13, 2014, 03:40:39 PM
Such support to Russian politics on a bitcoin forum , much amazing Smiley

Let me quote russia today :

Quote
“People can play with their chips, and they can call them money, but they can’t use these surrogate currencies as tender,” Deputy Finance Minister Aleksey Moiseev told journalists in Moscow.

Quote
Although the draft of the proposed legislation has not been published, officials say they will open criminal proceedings against both: those who mint digital currency – usually with the help of powerful computers – and those who use them for transactions. The finance ministry has also asked regulators to ban access to exchanges and online stores that accept bitcoin.

Quote
In their notes explaining the reasons for the impending ban, Russian officials unleashed a familiar two-pronged attack on cryptocurrencies, the oldest of which, bitcoin, was launched five years ago. Law drafters say that virtual currency’s cross-border nature, transaction anonymity and lack of supervisory body makes it the perfect vehicle for illegal transactions – be it money laundering, buying illicit goods, rendering illegal services or funding terrorism.

Of course , terrorism...

Quote
On the other hand, since it is not backed by any assets, cryptocurrency is liable to fluctuate wildly, so the ban would be a protective measure that would prevent people from losing money as a result of speculation.

Read in a user comment:
Quote
"We will slowly starve out Russia, encircle it and defeat it, come winter!"
 - Napoleon Bonaparte, 1812
 - Adolf Hitler, 1942
 - EU, 2014

Difference this time is that nobody actually has to go into it. It just got put in the corner and told it can't play with the rest of the kids in the world.

The difference is that in 1812 Russia was allied with Prussia ,Austria and England
In 1942 was fighting Germany with the help of England and USA.

Now its allies are North Korea and Belarus. Wink.

Also , they forget about the 200 years they payed tribute to the golden horde;). Or the destruction left by Crimean Tatars, the Swedish conquest and polish occupation.

591  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donetsk, Kharkov, Lugansk - way to Russia. on: September 12, 2014, 01:30:15 PM
If Europe is stagnating, while Russia is growing, that would suggest that Russia has more to lose from artificial trade barriers. Stagnation implies a relative reduction in efficiency, approaching subsistence level. Whereas rapid growth implies that there exists relatively less infrastructure. Therefore, Europe's pain would be being forced to improve the efficiency of their existing factories. Russia's pain would be trying to build new factories with no money and no hardware.

The devil is in the detail.
That's why I kept it very general.

Quote
You forget to take into account the different substitution possibilities. Russia can easily substitute both the goods previously exported from Europe and the importers there it supplied their goods to at virtually the same price (which means low overhead costs), but Europe can't sell their goods somewhere else, which means lower production (with all ensuing consequences).
You're making a couple of mistakes there. Substitution would result in an increase in the price. For example, Russia starts to import a lot of goods from Brazil, which they used to get from the EU. Maybe the price was the same in the past, but the increased demand causes it to go up. Brazil's higher prices create new opportunities for the EU to export to Brazil, but we can assume that part of the BRICS negotiations may have included ways to lock out the EU, or at least to prevent Baltic-style re-exporting of EU goods to Russia.

Quote
The problem is not in improving the efficiency of Europe's existing factories, since the production capacity of them becomes redundant (actually, they should lower their efficiency)...
I think you misunderstood. Yes, reduced exports from the EU would make them less efficient. That would create pressure to find new ways to reduce costs. What I was suggesting was that the EU would have more possibilities for reducing costs because the infrastructure is already there.

If someone has misunderstood something here, it is you. The reduced exports would not make Europeans factories less efficient. I'm curious where you got that part from? They would have to search for new markets, not ways to increase there productivity. How will this new efficiency help them if they can't sell even currently produced goods?

Regarding Brazil and the prices soaring you again don't understand the whole thing. Prices increase only when all productive capacities are employed (ABC economics) which is not the case in respect to food market (and even more in regard to its sector affected by Russian sanctions). Just don't think that Putin and his economic advisers don't know what they are doing...

http://www.undercurrentnews.com/2014/08/19/chilean-salmon-sellers-trial-air-freight-shipments-to-russia-as-prices-rise-every-day/

Quote
From around $5.40 per kilo CIF St Petersburg for 5kg fish before the ban, prices have now climbed to $8.35/kg, said one mid-sized Russian importer, who has been buying frozen salmon and trout from Chile since long before the ban.

Two larger Russian importers contacted by Undercurrent confirmed this. “They have increased by 50 cents per day since the sanctions start. Tomorrow we’ll probably be around $9/kg,” said a large importer, speaking on Aug. 18.

A Chilean source echoed this: “Prices have been going up not every week but every day.”

592  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crimea, Ukraine, Poland- the way to Western Europe Russo-Mania style! [free] on: September 09, 2014, 10:54:20 AM
I was going to write about the army in a PS, but you beat me to it. They are guarantors of peace. You see, better "prison" than slaughterhouse. People there still remember the bloodbath unleashed on Transnistria by the (pro-)Romanian-headed clans of Moldova (not unlike in Novorossia by Ukrainians) and the threat has not gone anywhere. That army is the only thing that stops the Moldovan government from gettig inspired by kiev and resuming where they left off in the 90s when Russian peacekeepers intervened. That civil sar, just like the war in Novorosia, didn't get much attention in the Western MSM as it didn' align with US interests (unlike Georgian invasion of South Osetia)

Slaughterhouse... yeah , bloodbath. Probably since you claim that the western media didn't care too much about it you have reading your usual russian sources.

That war was a joke. A joke with dead people killed by drunk mercenaries who even now don't have a clue what they were fighting for.

There are numerous reports in the Romanian press about the soldiers having their own ceasefire at night , getting drunk , waking up in the morning and then shooting at each other again and in the night drinking with the enemy in the memory of the killed ones.

And about the protection , I remember the nut in charge of the 14 army that claimed no less than 27 times (lmao , i bet those were his only words he knew) that his army will reach Bucharest in 2 hours . I personally don't know what russian tank is capable of 300km/h but be it like him.

As for the protection , protection my ass. More russian civilians have died there in the fighting than there were real supporters for the independence.
They wanted independence because before the '89 only Russian were in charge in Moldova occupying high ranks and now with Moldova gaining independence they had to go to do real work not sitting in a chair all day and give orders whit their families enjoying the equality of communism.

I haven't gone to Romania either. But the image of Romania in Norway is: a dump where all these gypsies and thieves that you see begging in the streets come from, and where towns and villages are falling into ruin. A place you shouldn't go to, because you'd get robbed faster than you can blink. So what do I know, maybe your perception of Moldova/Prednestrovjie is equally flawed as our perception of Romania here. Wink

From the various sources that I read, the strongest pro-Romainan movement is in the capital of Moldova, while the rural areas are more of pro-Russian (note that this does not imply that they would want to join Russia), independent of the nationality.

Who made Pridnestronje into a prison? By all accounts, it's a prison that has the walls built from the outside, and which had a trading agreement with Ukraine, but now with the WU-backed coup governments there, Kiev also raised the last wall.

1) No , just because your perception is not flawed Wink. Don't forget about the dogs. The president of the japanese-romanian business association died bitten by a dog in front of our government building....

2) Yeah , uneducated masses who still believe the earth is flat. The same guys that bought communism to the area.

3) As for the last part the russian army did it. Why was there a whole army corp ? Don't start with the bull* about protecting russians cause you know it's false.
594  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ECUADOR HERALDS DIGITAL CURRENCY PLANS on: September 08, 2014, 06:22:53 PM
Can you buy a sim card wit no id in Norway?

There are talks about a new law here that would require everyone to present their id and be registered in the mobile operator database even for prepaid card. This would kill the anonymity of those kind of payments.

No. You must provide an ID for any type of SIM card.

Wow. That sucks. Big time. Of course "why be worry if you have nothing to hide" can be heard all over your place I would imagine.

Actually I did a small research about calls..
Last year we had 17.4m calls to the emergency 112 in our country , out of which 70,91%  have been false.

10.892 people have received a fine while more than 5 times this number , over to 50 000 haven't been yet identified.
One of the most outrageous case happened last winter when such a fake call put an ambulance on a 1.5 hour drive to a snow covered village where they got stuck. In the meantime in the same county 1 man died because there was no ambulance available.

Just by looking at those numbers I can see why an id would be required.

Ps.
I think that a ten year sentence would be mild for such a "prank" Instead ,  the maximum you can get is a ~250 euros fine.

Sorry guys, but I think that any reasonable person won't dedicate so many time to think about Putin's existance. I remember his name only during reading this thread... Rassaah's messages especially. Cheesy However, it's interesting to see that Rassaah & co have fallen in so deep love with Putin. It's fine that they have some kind of goal in life.

It probably has something to do with me coming from Ukraine, my family being murdered by soviet Russians, my family's wealth and houses being confiscated by Russians, my remaining family members being persecuted, spied on, blacklisted, and made life very difficult and dangerous for, and after most of us escaping, me still having family members in Ukraine, and friends in Kiev, some of whom were top people in Maidan protests, meaning I could get first hand witness reports about what was going on there, why they were protesting, and who was involved, as well as what has been going on since. Sorry, but I am much more concerned about huylo's troops invading and killing my friends and their families, than I am about Ukraine's weak government and barely sustainable military defending against huylo's "lost" "volunteer" "separatists".

But hey, if you want to remember me for anything else, I've been involved with bitcoin for 3.5 years, I was probably the first to buy a car with bitcoin (bought it for 1,000BTC when they were $22 each), I run Bitcoin100.org charity foundation, the oldest bitcoin charity in existence, I am one of the most trusted people on the forum, holding 150BTC for a charity, and am one of 7 treasurers for the forum, holding 750BTC of this forum's money, I donated and invested heavily in Armory, BitMessage, and Open Transactions since the beginning, I am know for my work with Mycelium, I am present at many bitcoin conventions around the world, where I do speaking presentations on bitcoin charities, new technologies, and wallets, as well as run Ask Bitcoin Experts tables, I have been in multiple bitcoin articles even in things like Wired Magazine and Forbes, and in many bitcoin videos and podcasts, and I personally know and am friends with most of the top known bitcoin people out there. So I'm definitely not just some paid shill troll off the street.

Not really sure who the rest of you nobodies are  Tongue

with all due respect to your family. could there be a reason for your familymembers to be persecuted? maybe they were breaking the law? if you steal and go to prison - would you blame the system or yourself?

Yeah they were ferocious criminals , like my grandparents. Also I think that the relatives of Balthazar were also murderess thieves and rapists.
Kid , open a history book and spend some time reading.

Did you read anything about satanism or just that  article..  They are not what one would expect at all...  Anyone that thinks they worship the "devil" is a moron and super lazy.

I quoted the article just because I run across it while searching for something different. Then I went back to the forum and saw that there was no discussion about this at all so I thought of it as an interesting subject to hear the voice of the community on this one.

As for me personally I think I know enough about this satanism to treat is a a joke just like all the religions or social movements.

597  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crimea, Ukraine, Poland- the way to Western Europe Russo-Mania style! [free] on: September 08, 2014, 02:41:12 PM

The last questions: those 750.000 guest workers that will eventually get kicked out of Russia (especially once Moldova goes the EU way), will need to go somewhere, and it will be Romania.

And to the second point. No, I haven't been there. That's why I find it interesting to to listen to that talk from someone who's been there and has close ties to it.
As for the landfill. Yes, but whose fault is that? If they don't agree with Kishenjov/EU, then starve them, blockade them. Right? Don't listen. Don't cooperate. Don't let them live their own choice in peace. And it's a region that was doing pretty well before the civil war.

PS for those who don't read the previous page of a thread Smiley

No , they won't come here. Less than 1% will. The rest will go and search for a job in the EU. The only good point i see in this is that it will make the market more unattractive to north africans and asians.

Second , that's why I asked you to go there.

Transnistria is not in any danger. It a huge prison. And with the remains of the Russian 9th army(?) there it's Moldova who feels in danger.

And how much money will aerflot lose out of this ban?
No numbers?

Hmm , I remember writing about this...

So the Russians want to ban flight over Siberia.  Good...

Quote
National carrier Aeroflot on Thursday reported a net loss of 1.9 billion rubles ($52 million) for the first six months of the year as tensions between Moscow and the West coupled with a slowing economy deter Russians from traveling abroad.

Add here the 200 millions it gets from those flight that will go to 0 and there we have it. Each russian will will have to pay this loss out of their pockets.Wink.

Quote
Aeroflot collects royalties from foreign carriers for Siberian overflights, receiving about $170 million in 2013, according to Irina Stupachenko, an analyst at Otkritie Capital in Moscow. Stupachenko said any restrictions would be “very negative” for the airline, for which the royalty payments are equal to 18 percent of full-year earnings.

And , even funnier for the untouchable Russian economy

http://www.themoscowtimes.com/business/article/medvedev-supports-huge-aid-package-for-sanctions-struck-rosneft/506586.html

Quote
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that the state oil champion Rosneft, in need of funds to service its huge debt, may receive 1.5 trillion rubles ($40.6 billion) from state coffers over time, the Vedomosti newspaper said Monday.

From where.... National Welfare Fund? Wink
599  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crimea, Ukraine, Poland- the way to Western Europe Russo-Mania style! [free] on: September 08, 2014, 02:07:57 PM
You forget about 750.000 migrant workers (often illegal) from Moldova in Russia and about 30% of Moldovan GDP coming from those workers sending money home.
Russia is tightening up immigration and work permit rules, and Moldova is on a black list. Now think about the consequences of those 750000 being sent back. Is Romania ready to issue more residence permits, because there sure is no work to be had in Moldova?

You always said things are changing. So is the moldovean workforce.

From 20 000 workers prior to 2010 there are an estimate of 250 000 working in the EU. And this keeps growing.
In the first days of September 9000 people received their dual citizenship and most of them are planing one thing , go to EU to work. (for a better wage).

Besides , http://www.rferl.org/content/moldova-russia-nationals/25123031.html what you say has already started.

And sorry , I don't get your last question.

Quote
There is not much tears for that from Russia, more like from people of Pridnstrovje. Will the 2006 referendum (>90% for) results be acknowledged? What about 300.000 signatures collected in 2014 and confiscated by Moldovans?

Failed? You are too quick in your judgement. Let's talk about this again in 3-4 years.

Ever been there? Take a trip if you have time. No words can really describe Transnistria.
If Romania is a landfill then Transnistria is where our garbage is going.

Quote
The Satanic Temple on Saturday marked the launch of its first chapter outside New York. But leaders say they don't worship Satan. They don't practice cannibalism, or sacrifice people or animals.

"It's peaceful," said Jex Blackmore, 32, local leader and part of the temple's executive ministry. "The idea of sacrifice specifically is to appease some demon or some god, and that's a supernatural belief that we don't subscribe to."

Who this Satan is?

Quote
The Rev. Chris Yaw of St. David's Episcopal Church in Southfield said Satanists worshiping Satan actually is quite rare; instead, it tends to be a "back-to-nature kind of thing."

He said the Bible is "really sketchy on who this person Satan is," and that the red pitchforks, horns and goat heads were all added long after the Christian Bible was completed. Visit the Satanic Temple's website, thesatanictemple.com, and similar imagery abounds.

"The challenge of Christianity, that has been dominant religion in this country, is to be accepting and loving of all people, and whatever religion they want to practice," Yaw said. "Jesus didn't give me the right to judge other people."

Are they really that bad?

Quote
Blackmore said the temple's plans for Michigan include offering same-sex wedding ceremonies and advocating for women's rights — in particular, opposing on religious grounds the informed consent laws requiring that women receiving abortions be given certain information. She also is working on plans to volunteer at local animal shelters and provide other needed community service in Detroit.

I know there are a lot that wanted to join the Bitcoin religion and worship satoshi , but are there any members on this board thinking of joining these guys?
