And the last jump was done out of the blue , without any major news about adoption at that moment.
Was probably due to technical analysis, breach of bearish trend and all that. Unfortunately this is true and is annoying as hell. We went up because the charts said it's time we go up and now we have a correction because traders follow the charts and a correction is needed according to them. Time to break away again from this trend and let usage and adoption dictate the "real" price if there is any.

Oh, and now Germany happily resells the Russian gas that it gets through Nord Stream. Is it a new way of making friends? Once the gas is delivered to Germany, they are free to do whatever they want with it. Actually this benefits Gazprom as well. The Germans are very punctual in their payments, unlike the Eastern Europeans. So even if Gazprom has to suffer slight losses, they will get their payments on time. Please don't generalize this for eastern europe unless you have solid proofs

Also , I would love how Russians are backing down on threatening to cut the gas if the payments are not made. Novak said that Moscow is willing to recalculate Kiev’s massive gas debts for April and May, which will bump their arrears down from $2.353 billion instead of $3 billion. This sum must be paid in full by June 26, Novak said. The first tranche payment of $500 million is due June 16, and the remaining $1.8 billion is due on June 26. The first deadline was 1st of June for the whole debt. Now the debt is reduced by 25% and the deadline extended by one month for a first tranche.. In the end they won't see a penny I would suggest that Russian citizens stop paying for gas too until and unless Ukraine pays down all its debts... Do that:). Let me see a boycott for a government controlled company because of the actions of the government. And that in Russia. Wonder how protesters will be treated there...

So there was no kgw (with fix) implementation or digishield to try and deter mining pools from switching on off for this coin?
If not probably this is the first thing that should be done before talking about reviving the coin.
Yes, a Kimoto Gravity Well implementation will be included in the fork. Why KGW? It is one of the slowest diff calcs out there and kills resources on Android. What the hell does KGW which is a difficulty algorithm to do with Android? This probably was the weirdest thing I saw since the newbie invasion

No progress in sight. Ukraine’s demand for gas price below $385 leads to political deadlock - Putinhttp://rt.com/business/165332-putin-gas-ukraine-discountUkraine wants gas for free. That is the problem. Why should they be given gas at throw away prices, when friendly nations (such as Germany) are paying as much as $420 per 1,000 cubic meter? Friendly nations?! Am I missing something? Didn't this (Germany) nation in the person of Frau Merkel just recently show firm support for sanctions against Russia? Surely not what you would expect from a friend... That's one good laugh . Bryan calling Germany a friendly country . But now seriously , the title is misleading... Russia is ready to give Ukraine this $100 discount for one year, Russia’s Energy Minister Aleksandr Novak said at the meeting. They are offering a one year discount after which the price will be 485$. Also , I would love how Russians are backing down on threatening to cut the gas if the payments are not made. Novak said that Moscow is willing to recalculate Kiev’s massive gas debts for April and May, which will bump their arrears down from $2.353 billion instead of $3 billion. Consequently, nuclear-weapon states consider nuclear disarmament and the achievement of a world without nuclear weapons to be a long-term aspirational objective at best. How much long is this long-term target? Right now, this is the number of nuclear weapons possessed by the nuclear powers: Russia - 8,500 USA - 7,700 France - 300 China - 200 UK - 225 Pakistan - 120 India - 110 Israel - 80 DPRK - 10 For the last 10 years or so, there has been no considerable reduction in this number. They had 4x more 30 years ago so it's going down. Besides that's the number of total nuclear weapons (some of them might be already dismantled or out of service) , not the total active nuclear warheads.

The biggest risk is that governments are concerned some of the byproducts from the reactors are then moved and converted into nuclear weaponry
The nuclear waste or the nuclear fuel can't be directly converted to nuclear weaponry. The Uranium fuel used in nuclear reactors is Low-enriched uranium (LEU), which contains 3% to 5% U-235. (The remainder is U-238, which is not radio-active). For creating nuclear weapons, you need Highly enriched uranium (HEU), which contains 80% to 90% U-235. Converting the LEU to HEU is a very complicated process, and only a very few nations in the world currently possess that technology. Oh really? And where doe the power come in a two stage nuclear weapon? U238 can't sustain a chain reaction but it is used as a temper which goes to a fission reaction. Basically for a thermonuclear bomb you might not need u238 (you can repalce it with plutonium) but you will need the cheap u235 "waste". Of course you might argue that p239 is also created from uranium and... so on .

So the problem with changing the trade currency from dollar to euro actually boils down to persuading China to accept euros instead of dollars... I don't know much about the general trade. But it has been already decided (I had posted this in some other thread a few days ago) that the gas exports to Russia will be paid in RenMinBi. Russia has nothing to gain from this, but still it will weaken the US Dollar. Yeah, I've heard rumors, but what is that RenMinBi? Not that I'm actually curious about what it is at the moment, but rather that it is not dollar somewhere underneath in the train of transactions with it... And you probably meant gas exports to China? Probably the only currency in the world that is manipulated by it's government in terms of value more that the us dollar. Although the Chinese have not pegged the cny to the dollars for the last decade they still force it to float only on a narrow margin.

I don't think the oil bubble will burst just yet, instead we would see more wars to try to take the resources. What happens when everyone realizes that there is just oil everywhere and no one needs more? Tell this to those guys : And let's imagine Indians having enough money to buy and drive a car like americans do....

It was not obama, it was the Iraqis that failed to sign a security agreement same shit that is going on in afgan today. They do not sign security extensions we do not stay.
What a nonsense... "Bush the Great, came to us and take our natural resources, please. We need a democracy!". Occupation isn't an act of philanthropy. You speak as if somebody in Iraq asked Bush to organize the occupation and install a puppet government. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/energy/oilandgas/10731708/Russias-Lukoil-opens-giant-Iraq-oil-field-adding-to-crude-glut.htmlRussia's Lukoil has opened a giant untapped oil field in Iraq that will play a major part in driving up production to new highs in the Middle Eastern country and potentially force down the price of crude. Spigots in the West Qurna-2 field, Iraq’s second-biggest, were opened officially over the weekend in a move that will release 120,000 barrels per day of crude oil onto international markets. The field in Southern Iraq near Basra will eventually pump out 1.2m barrels-per-day (bpd) of oil. Those damn american companies drilling iraq oil for free:)

I have decided to display all 4 pages for Quarkcoin. I have skim read the first 250 pages of this thread in order to gather main historical events. I will finish reading it all tomorrow. Please say if anything is incorrect or missing at the moment. Does the first page approximately detail when the blocks were generated?
Much of the third page is written down on paper for the time being. Researching a coin is a very long and time consuming process indeed lol
You've been writing this book like you're writing the bible or you're doing hercules 12 tasks. I'm starting to believe you're more interested in donations that in actually wrting something.
