1481  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Iraq's second largest city, Mosul, captured by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria on: June 12, 2014, 02:12:10 PM
^^^ I know exactly what is going on there. Tunisia has been historically a very tolerant nation, unlike Egypt and Libya. There are only a few thousand Christians there and there have been no attacks against them. So I am not surprised at Theodoros II thanking the Tunisian president for protection. But what this has to do with the current government?

You claimed that Tunisia is run by radical  Islamist party.
I showed you proof it's not.
Read the constitution they've adopted.

Have you ever been there? Have you ever traveled to Tunis both before 2010 let's say and after 2012?

Why I'm even bothering asking that I don't know as I already know the answer. You never set foot out of the country but you now better than anybody what's happening in urkaine china and usa.

Show me one proof that Tunis is going to turn into a radical Islamic state
1482  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Yes, it is possible to be this ignorant. on: June 12, 2014, 02:06:25 PM
First  , yes  you can be that ignorant
And I know enough cases like that in eastern europe , not africa

I remember a case when a man died in a bank and the police found in his clothes a note for his doctor dated 14 days ago..

But he never took those pills

Unfortunately, that's what happens sometimes when you act and think like an ostrich.

it's easy to say when you are living in a developed western country, where public education is something that nearly everyone has access to.

The western world has also it's share of idiots:

The Ennahda movement is probably the best thing that could happen to tunisia.
Also Hamadi is not in power anymore and he was not part of the islamic brotherhood , he was a moderate islamic.

Ennahda is the Tunisian version of Islamic Brotherhood, which is funded by Saudi Arabia. They call themselves moderate Islamists, but in truth they are even more hard-line than the Egyptian Islamic Brotherhood.

Of course...
That's why this happened:

Really , you have no clue about what's going there , admit it Smiley

1484  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Uber on: June 12, 2014, 01:38:35 PM
That's crazy, how can a taxi application be valued at $18 billion USD? It doesn't take a genius to create an application like that.

Why haven't you done it first?

It's an application that generates money in case you don't know how it works.
They've re installed their 20% commission and as well as a tax of 1$.

What if this api would be used worldwide instead of 38 countries?

Think that this will replace the thousands of taxis in all major cities.
We are talking in this case alone on a number of close to 1 million cars. 10 rides a day and you've got 3.65 billions a year in revenue.

Coin name this FIFAWCCoin (FWCC)
I don't use logo FIFA and name FIFACOIN.

You're using their name FIFA  in the name of your coin.

Even if the coin gets off all the exchanges will be afraid to touch it or will de -listed it immediately if they receive a complain.

You obviously have no clue how copyright or trademarks work.

It should have never make place. If it would be true, we have emergency plan.

Emergency plan: Dump the premine & run away!

That wasn't the emergency plan , that is the actual plan on all these coins.

All the coins created during an event which has a chinese developer (you can find out that by the way he writes) share the same faith.

What is more amazing is that there are people who still trust this scams and buy into

Stupidity and greed have no limits

1486  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Iraq's second largest city, Mosul, captured by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria on: June 12, 2014, 01:04:06 PM
The US has been encouraging Islamic extremism in the Middle East for years. Every time the US decides to smash secular nationalism, you can guarantee that something more sinister will take its place. It's like a 5 year old is in charge of US foreign policy.

For the first time, I'll agree with you.

Iraq: Pan-Arabic nationalist Ba'ath party (under Saddam Hussain) replaced by the Islamic Da'awa Party. Power shifted from Sunni Arab to Shiite Arab.
Syria: Pan-Arabic nationalist Ba'ath party (under Bashar al Assad) is about to be replaced by the FSA, which includes Islamist factions such as the ISIL/ISIS.
Egypt: Secular ruler Hosni Mubarak replaced with Mohammed Morsi of the Islamic Brotherhood.
Tunisia: Secular government by Zine El Abidine Ben Ali replaced by Hamadi Jebali of the Islamic Brotherhood.

The only exception has been Libya.

The Ennahda movement is probably the best thing that could happen to tunisia.
Also Hamadi is not in power anymore and he was not part of the islamic brotherhood , he was a moderate islamic.

1487  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How exactly traffic exchange works? on: June 12, 2014, 12:52:48 PM
Hello,
I want to know how exactly traffic exchange works? Site like Hitleap for example?
I hearth that many people are selling their minutes from the site. Also how this traffic helps my site? Is it good or bad for google?
Thanks!
BR

There are two different types of exchange websites:

One that let you display a banner on your website and if you get 10 hits on it you will receive 10 hits from other websites

And sites like hitleap where you receive as many hits as many websites you visit
This traffic is mostly junk and only used to increase alexa rank

1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CATc] Cataloniacoin · Conference soon thanks to a Google dev · SCRYPT-N on: June 11, 2014, 11:57:36 PM
yesterday catc was delisted in bittrex and today again is added; but with more trading positions and up 1,000%. What happens?
Devi says something ....
and you can fix the synchronization of the wallet?

Are you sure it was added again?
I can't find it on the list.

And the other exchanges have already disabled the market for catc.

Bitcoin market cap:  $8.3 billion
Uber the taxi app:  $18+ billion

Is it just me, or something is wrong with this picture  Huh

And what is wrong with this picture ? =)))

http://www.todayszaman.com/news-350106-taxi-drivers-in-europe-go-head-to-head-with-car-hire-app-uber.html

But honestly , does anybody have a graph or some usage statistics for this app?

The only things I find are about the protests.

Algos can't solve the issue I'm trying to fix with the Altcoins: allowing "mining" for all

Don't bother...there is no solution and there is no such thing as a fair distribution.

No matter what algo or way of mining , it won't help a guy that has no computer or that didn't heard of your coin until it's too late and he won't get the same share as the first adopters

Coins are not meant to be a re-distribution of wealth.

Better focus of usage and ease of use.
1493  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukraine rejects Russia Gazprom gas price hike on: June 11, 2014, 04:24:10 PM
I see what you did there guys...Russia won't lose anyway. Putin never loses.

Of course... Putin never loses. The Russian average citizen , that's a different story.

Just how the us emerged victorious in so many conflicts.

Wait till the bill for the Ukraine war and the re-build of Crimea hits the taxpayers.

1494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPA] SpainCoin: freedom for Spain - Update wallets! Airdrop ongoing: 3.5%! on: June 11, 2014, 04:16:41 PM

Yeah 500% up 120 btc traded just on mintpal. everybody's selling? RIGHT haha
People are buying in volume.

Actually the bubble is deflating.
I think it will stabilize around 1000 in the next two days.

Still , I have to admit I would have never believed that the coin could still jump a few weeks ago.

So ,I might be wrong again...

1495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PesetaCoin][PTC] Wallet With FIAT & Payment GateWay now Online on: June 11, 2014, 04:13:23 PM
this week is opening lamegashop.es, which will be a big selling market accepting pesetacoin. Indeed, the business behind lamegashop has been funded with only pesetacoins, being the first brand in spain to be born only with any kind of cryptocurrency. Once lamegashop is out, expect a rise on the price.

 Shocked  Grin  Grin  Grin

I hope to be one of the first users to buy on that shop. PTC is fantastic! PTC is different!

Edit: Just one thing
 Dogecoin difficulty --> 714
 Pesetacoin difficulty --> 612

I find it more amazing that the difficulty was around 300 before the coin risked to be de-listed from Btrex...

Seems to me like a lot of miners are actually mining the coin in the shadows without much fuzz about it

1496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PREANN][KiB] Kibweecoin | Proof-of-Contribution | PoW | PoS | 0% Premine on: June 11, 2014, 04:04:52 PM
I find this PoC quite interesting but unfortunately its' dependant on PoW based on your description and it is just a let's called it "socialist" PoS.

So you can't really claim it is a new algo , more an improved version.

But still an improvement from the copy paste coins that flood the market.

Keeping an eye on it.

Have you done any tests for it via a testnet?

1497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (c ͡|Q ͜ʖ ͡o) [ANN][OPC] OPEC Coin POS stage, 2% per month. TipBot here! on: June 11, 2014, 03:57:25 PM
look forward to the big bump

Cool things (anonymity, multipool, online wallet, new windows wallet) take time to develop.

Anonymity?

So you claim this coin will be used for "OPEC Coin goal is to provide petroleum exporting countries an alternative way to receive payments for oil that they export" and you plan to introduce an anonymity feature?

If you truly believe in your coin and it's purpose (I don't) you're shooting yourself in the foot with this move.

I hope I don't have to explain why...

1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPA] SpainCoin: freedom for Spain - Update wallets! Airdrop ongoing: 3.5%! on: June 11, 2014, 03:53:27 PM
CONGRATS!!!

I was looking at buying Spaincoin a few days ago, but because there was no action i didn't do it. I was wrong.

You were right, trust me.

This is just a pump & dump strategy.

No , actually if he would have bought at the moment the dev posted about the destroyed coins and sold 1 day after he would have made some solid profits.

I did this with the peseta coin rush a few days ago and now I am a bit pissed I didn't risked a few mbtc on the move from spaincoin.

The move was soooo obvious.. damn!
1499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Losers on: June 11, 2014, 03:49:35 PM
You lost enough to buy an Xbox One and a few games.  Hardly life changing.  And if you had picked a safer investment, say the S&P 500, you'd have a 3-4% return by now.  Another $50-60 bucks.  Hardly life changing either.  Total amount isn't enough to hold you over long if you lose your job or have a medical emergency in either case.

He said that he lost his life savings...

I doubt he would have bought a new xbox one considering all his savings were around 1000 or 1200 $.

In some parts of the world 1000$ is like 4-5 monthly wages if not more while for western European or american with a good job is almost play money.

we finally broke $627.5! $600 is not far away now!

And now we finally broke 638...wait we're falling up?

Since you have your way of writing and the troll that comes back to the forum every time the price goes down hasn't posted anything although he was online..
