Volunteers from Italy have arrived in Donetsk oblast. They are members of the anti-fascist organization "Millennium". Earlier there were confirmed reports of Polish anti-fascists traveling to Donetsk.

1523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: June 11, 2014, 12:37:04 AM
Max Keiser's blatant lie in the mcx troll box can be found here:

http://mcxchart.com/userchat/maxkeiser/

He was not on that Ulster TV show. This was after having made one announcement after another, leading everybody on. As happens he is making a new con (sorry, coin).

I would call this at most ridiculous :

05:45:05)  maxkeiser - What I like about MAX is that unlike BTC, we're not looking for respectability. We want the global banking system to crash and we want to piss in the face of banksters.... fuck legitimacy. We're MAX. Expect us.

1524  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Solar Roadways... on: June 10, 2014, 06:18:44 PM
they should be quarantined and live in their own areas.. letting people mix like that could lead to catastrophic disaster in the kazakhstani society. it's not convenient doing that to a group of people, but it's for the greater goods.. and sometimes it just has to happen that way.

Genetic mutation from radiation, either in humans or animals have not been reported from Kazakhstan. There has been some incidents of increase in cancer rates, especially in areas near the Semipalatinsk nuclear test sites. But mutation hasn't been reported from anywhere yet. And cancer is not a hereditary disease. If there is no mutation, then cancer patients can have healthy babies.

Since just two days ago you claimed that there were no nuclear test near villages in Russia

I know the russians tested bombs near a village, and the radiation wreaked havoc.. but it's not the same thing.

Russians tested the nuclear weapons in remote sparsely inhabited areas, such as Novaya Zemlya in the Arctic and Kamchatka.

... I will not believe a word of what you're saying about the minimal impact those test had on the population and that there were no mutation reports

Just because mutations are likely to be small and difficult to detect it doesn't mean they haven't occurred.

Quote
This was supported by findings of the University of Leicester, UK in 2002 that people exposed to high doses of radiation near Semipalatinsk had an 80% higher rate and their children a 50% higher rate of DNA mutation than control groups

Business on the Blockchain. Buy and sell anything with Syscoin's distributed marketplace integrated into the blockchain. This isn't a cryptocurrency PLUS a marketplace. It's a marketplace built into a cryptocurrency. The Syscoin network enables the creation of marketplaces of any kind, ranging from small community trading platforms to large corporate marketplaces like eBay to fully encrypted hidden marketplaces. This does not limit itself to marketplaces that accept only Syscoin. Syscoin's blockchain innovations are merely an infrastructure upon which marketplaces can be built.

Does anyone have a clue on how is this going to be achieved? =)))

after effects of major nuclear bombing.. if you look at the pics from kazakhstan and chernobyl, it's kind of a turn off. kazakhstan's current issue is that they are unable to quarantine the affected people, so they are interbreeding with the non-affected people and making babies with serious issues.

What you do want to do with affected people? Do you want to euthanize, imprison or sterilize them? Strip them with their basic rights to interbreed?

If a doctor says it's 99% probable you will give birth to a child with a malformation or any other problem , what gives you the right to bring to this world a child that will have to suffer all his life?

The doctor is giving percentage it means he is not totally sure. And the doctor is not 100 percent correct in giving percentages. What if the doctor says 99 percent and the reality is 1 percent. What would you do if you are the affected person?

Not having a child and maybe I will think on an adoption.

I will not risk it.
1527  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why did we develop into large country size tribes? on: June 10, 2014, 05:42:01 PM
Why did we develop into large country size tribes when as individuals we usually like to socialize in small tribes <100 people.

Do we remain in these large tribes mostly for the benefit of the elites?

When and why did this all happen?

In Asia, the tribes were under attack once in a while.

In Europe, About 2000-4000 years ago, the roman empire expanded trough military force. In order to protect themselves, people started living more together, building city walls etc. Before that, people pretty much lived anywhere they wanted.

ok so thats a different perspective to benjamindees,  do we stay together now as countries for protection as #1 you think?

This might seem a strange thread btw.  I just always find it odd i live in a street of people who are strangers.

I am not sure why people stay together now, but I doubt it is for protection nowadays.

The bigger the group is in which you live, the fewer people you know. If you live in a small village of say 300 people, everybody knows who you are, what you do etc;
If you live in LA, chances are you do not know 99.9% of the people.

I was forced to live in a 10k pop town for 2 months.
It almost drove me nuts.

No movie theater , only a medium supermarket with the cheapest brands , only two places where you could either drink a coffee or a beer , and after 6 o clock there is nothing open except for small neighborhood stores where you can only buy snacks and drinks.

And a 40 km drive to the next biggest town.

I think Joe fuc**** Mcain and other senators put pressure on Bulgarian parliament

Yes... the announcement came after the talks with US Senators. The Americans are currently promoting the Trans-Anatolian pipeline, which will export Azerbaijani gas to Ukraine. So they have real intentions to block the South Stream.

Just like the Russians have interest in the South Stream..

I don't see any major conspiracy there.
With russian puppets always threatening to cut the gas it's a normal move.
Look at 247 crypto , 20 of it's posts were "burn wood".

Do you feel like further dealing with those kind of people?

There is enough coal in Europe (Germany). The Nazis even managed to produce benzine from it (just like Apartheid did under embargo)...

I think you referred to gasoline there:). As in both russian and romanian benzin is used for gasoline.

Cause benzine (petroleum ether) was used in ww2 germany for something totally different which I won't mention here. ;

When I graduated from culinary school I was shocked at how bad the sanitation is in your average restaurant. The Mom and Pop type of establishments are the worst. The chains are better because there are usually corporate standard procedures for sanitation.

I take food from less established restaurants only if no other options are available. 99% of the times when I eat out, I depend upon restaurant chains, such as McDonalds, KFC, Subway.etc. As you have mentioned, sanitation is much better in these chains.

What a healthy life you live Smiley.

But really , I wound't have expected you to trust american fast food chains and their "food" Smiley.

Let me wiki this for you:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City#History

Quote
The conventional view holds that cities first formed after the Neolithic revolution. The Neolithic revolution brought agriculture, which made denser human populations possible, thereby supporting city development.[4] The advent of farming encouraged hunter-gatherers to abandon nomadic lifestyles and to settle near others who lived by agricultural production. The increased population-density encouraged by farming and the increased output of food per unit of land created conditions that seem more suitable for city-like activities

cryptocoinrank wtf!

It's back to it's 2000$ market cap

One 10$ trade can manage to push the price on one exchange 10 times

Same thing happened to quark with a 47$ order

Have you guys seen why QKR price has risen to 0.05 $?

It's because one guy has bought about 7 QRK for the meager price of $6.56 ...

It's crazy how easy it is to manipulate coinmarketcap....

$47 to push QRK from #10 to #7 ...

The admins of coinmarketcap should fix their algorithm.

The TWR’s economic benefits stem from its ability to breed and burn metallic fuel comprised of initial starter fuel of U-235 and U-238. TerraPower’s ability to develop new fuels and materials that can breed and burn U-238 could enable a TWR to get up to 50 times more energy out of every pound of mined uranium than can a conventional light water reactor.

50x more energy using the byproduct u 238 ?

Too good to be entirely true?

There was a massive jump in difficulty which messed up the network block time: http://www.coinwarz.com/difficulty-charts/mazacoin-difficulty-chart

So there was no kgw (with fix) implementation or digishield  to try and deter mining pools from switching on off for this coin?

If not probably this is the first thing that should be done before talking about reviving the coin.
1537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really like RT news! the great bitcoin promoter! on: June 09, 2014, 09:53:07 PM
America won't ban it. That would give in to the Russians. They'll do the same thing they do with everything good. They'll regulate it out of existence.

Then the Russians would invent new methods to make the regulation impossible to achieve. For example, the BTC-E exchange is owned by the Russians and they never ask for any ID documents. They also never cooperate with the American tax authorities. If someone converts his Bitcoins to fiat using BTC-E, the American IRS has no way of knowing it.

In my opinion, the two country's have entirely different financial systems so Russia would probably keep the information from the IRS as the IRS would keep it hidden from Russia, beneath the surface they are still two old powers that wouldn't share that much information with each other Smiley
Also agree they wouldn't tell the IRS unless they got something worthwhile in exchange.

Unleash the irony:

Russian officials laugh about the western ban on assets , then they find those guys are breaking the law and with huge amounts  , and now they have no way to enforce the law without the us and Europe help Smiley.

Quote
The Russian president has charged the Central Bank and the government with the task of developing a working scheme allowing enforcement of the ban on civil servants’ and officials’ foreign assets through cooperation with foreign banks.

Quote
Russia’s Financial Ombudsman Pavel Medvedev has assessed the chances of ensuring international cooperation in enforcing the foreign asset ban as extremely low. Medvedev said the program could be feasible if it had been initiated four years ago. This was when the United States was building the network around its Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, obliging foreign banks to inform US authorities about accounts of US citizens, or even whom they suspect are US citizens or people with ties to the country.

This is a proof on what a mistake de-listing peseta would have been.

Noblecoin is far more developed than the vast majority of other crypto currencies. it has 50 merchants and more developments on the way. it is unfortunate that you are putting Noble on the chopping block. i understand you are most likely doing so as a result of low traffic and probably not as a result of developer abandonment, however i feel that you are making a mistake.

i hope that you do not remove Noble from your exchange, but if you do, i know that the Noble community will still be here in the future and we will not hold it against you.

personally i and others believe that this will be a temporary issue and that at some point in the near future you may change your mind. we will await our future re-listing on your exchange.

thank you for your support and future consideration.  Smiley

Noble coin is one of the mysteries I don't get in cryptos.

Probable on of the most interesting and supportive communities , a solid plan to build and increase usage and still...while pump and dump coins thrive.

This is a load of BS...

People claiming that bitcoin was premined or instamined just because they didn't have a chance or they didn't know about it.

You people claim that Satoshi should destroy it's bitcoins (if he still has it ) because he had an unfair advantage mining it.

There are almost 6 billions people that could claim right now each of us should invalidate our coins because we mined /bought them at low price or difficulty.

He is talking about the 400 experiments in northern Kazakhstan where they build and a new city just for that of course with work power from the traditional soviets labor camps.

The site was cleaned and the waste removed not long ago in 2010 2012 after being abandoned for 20 years.
