761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 17, 2014, 02:33:50 PM
What this proves to me is that alternative coin trading is completely corrupted and owned. To all you in the FUD Mafia, you can kill a coin, but you are really hurting the innocent buyers, not the devs. Try to be more understanding of WHO you are hurting with your FUD. I don't purposely slander or hurt anybody else's investments. And when you do that, you do not make your coins look better. You make crypto trading look like a f**king circus of corruption.

This one I love it.
It's always the FUD. It's not the fact that you did your investment without knowing. It's not the fact that you haven't done the research. It's not the fact that someone did not what he was supposed to do.

It's the fud. the others , the aliens the haters are the ones to blame.

It wasn't your bad choice your bad luck or your lack of knowledge.

Always THE OTHERS  are to blame.

I researched and invested, I did not go in blind. I know that Syscoin is a GOOD coin that got a bad start. But what I don't understand is why there seems to be a certain group of people in crypto who always seem hell-bent on insulting and exploiting any mistake or goof or problem that any coin or exchange has. Does someone without an agenda set out on purpose to step on others when they are down? No. We all know how powerful FUD and hype can be. So if you don't have an agenda, you would just keep your mouth shut and stay out of it. But its apparent that you DO have an agenda to destroy a coin...when you keep posting and tweeting and blowing up every mistake or problem.

So much for bitcoin and the freedom of speech.

such truth

If you think you know what's going on you're delusional.  Alt coins are poker/roulette at best.  You can follow fib lines, pump patterns, trends, it doesn't matter what the charts say.  You can not know what scared people will do based on fud.  To claim that FUD and HYPE have nothing to do with a coins value is insane.  Otherwise we would all be rich from algorithmic trading.

You failed big to understand my post.
It was not about how hype or fud take their toll on the price.

It was about insane and blind bag holders who view fud as the reason for their loss.
They always have somebody to blame instead of facing the truth , that they bet on the wrong pony.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 17, 2014, 02:03:30 PM
I want to buy syscoin but I don't have more BTC so my business partner, a professional lady is activated for barter trade. (She is 42 but does the job well)
Blowjob: 10,000,000 SYS
Oral: 15,000,000 SYS
Full service:  20,000,000 SYS

I suggest consider this offer, at least you will be happy for 30 seconds and get out something from the syscoin project.

blowjobs are cheaper than oral? erm...

Well, since the coin is not in the best shape I could activate only a toothless lioness associate, therefore the oral is actually quite a pleasant service, but let me have a board meeting with the professionals to review the price policy.

At the current price of 440 sat 20,000,000SYS = 20M*0.00000440 = 88BTC =$45,320 is a bit steep

If the trend continues and we're going to see no words from the "sleeping" developer you wont be able to get that kind of service even on a back road in a  3rd world country for those coins.

Syscoin devs should've never promised "buy support" in the first place...people can complain about sub-par technicals, but begging for "buy support" implies that you didn't think you might possibly LOSE money on this investment...hmmm...

What is even funnier is that those people are here for an open market , a free decentralized coin but they are welcoming a coin with a controlled priced that resembles more a fiat currency than bitcoin.

Greed and the desire to get rich turn people 180 degrees in an instant.
766  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why is people against military actions against ISIS/IS? on: August 17, 2014, 01:38:35 PM
Since the US requested assistance from Denmark by asking for a C-130 to drop Aid for the refugees in northen Iraq, a lot of danes are screaming to the government not to send f-16 fighter jets to the region to protect civilians and to bomb strategic important areas for ISIS/IS.

And other countries must have gotten the same request from the US.

I personally think that we (Denmark) Should send 6 F-16 fighters to help. 4 for missions and 2 backups.

What do you think about military actions in northen Iraq?

I think it's because of the double agenda our government has. One the one hand we stimulate Al Quadia in Syria, on the other it fights extremist in Iraq. In addition, when bombs fall a lot of innocent people die - I think they prefer troops.

Yes, very good point.
It seems that western governments, starting with president Obama, going from one bad decision to other and just creating more political chaos in this area.
They was helping rebels in Syria and now they are fighting the same rebels (ISIS) in Iraq.
Remember Afghanistan back in 1981?
They was supporting rebels against Russians, fanatic Muslims, but later this rebels become worst American enemy (Osama Bi Laden and his group).
It looks American foreign policy is lead by idiots.
They never learn from their past mistakes, there is no long term strategy in this area, nothing...

And England did a mistake while helping Prussia and Russia fighting Napoleon because int the next two ww2 they will become allies and fight against Germany.

I love how people have a habit of using only 1% percent of their brain for actually trying to understand politics and 99% to explore conspiracy theories.
767  Other / Politics & Society / Re: By 2025, ‘sexbots will be commonplace’ – which is just fine, as we’ll all be... on: August 17, 2014, 12:57:16 PM
No way I would prefer sexbots over real girls. If you haven't tried real girls try it, you will not look back to your sexbots.  Smiley

Have you tried a sexbot ? How can you be so sure about it. Probably in 100 years most of us won't be able to distinguished between the two of them.

I'm in no way promoting this kind of activity which might lead to more people turning into "Hikikomori" or "shut ins" (japan has already a huge problems with this but don't be so sure about how those will perform their duties.

No matter how they do it, real women is always the original and sexbots is always the copycat trying to copy the real women.

I think the real advantage of sexbots is it will not dump you.  Smiley

Even right now robots are doing a lot of things better than human. I'm not going to say they will do this also but time will tell.

Don't forget that with a robot partner you could program her to like some things you're girlfriend doesn't like Wink

Guys... Reality check time.  You gave these Bozos $750,000... They aren't replying because they're fast asleep on the the duck down pillows they bought with your money.  Moolah aren't going to refund you dollar one.  They are also in it up to their necks.  The partnership was announced in the OP.  They promised you the world and you got a copy and paste coin with a few pretty videos.
they have been doing this for free so far and also shared source code, they deserve money for time invested, i have faith in dev team and i'm sure they will deliver as they got finally paid for it. 1500BTC seems too much but there are investors not hesitating to invest 50btc in one coin so if it was even 10000BTC i dont mind, better for safer distribution,  and also this coin is meant to exist for years, i'm glad i invested, if price goes under ipo for a while i don't mind. Good luck dev team.

The source code in the github is just a litecoin fork.
No trace of their so called new features no nothing.

I'm sorry but that is just bullshit.  A simple install of the qq will tell you that. Since when did litecoin have the ability to create alias and sign contracts

99% procent of the code is litecoin. The alias feature you say...

Something pretty interesting:

wow..sub stage 1 ICO price on mintpal! where is the supposed buying support at the stage 2 ICO price? i am surprised it got to this point.

Pretty interesting that we're seeing still 500 on bittrex.
Enormous spread but without a fully working blockciahn arbitrage is impossible.

Let's not judge based on the QT wallet. It may have been literally the last thing on the list. We'll see what devs have to say soon. Hopefully some of them are early risers.

And on what should we judge?
On wall of text , nice pictures and a whitepaper?

This coin promised two new features unique to the alt scene.
Integrated markets in the blockchain and data storage. Currently there is no talk about them and the blockchain is in such a bad shape nobody will trust it with their business.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 17, 2014, 11:58:09 AM
The fact that the launch had problems does not mean the coin is not good or that the devs are incompetent or that you should sell. Also it does not mean that every post stating a problem is trying to FUD.

Personaly i can't care more or less about the blockain.

What I'm interested in this coin and the reason why i'm watching it are the features.
Especially the so called market integrated in the blockchain , or secured data . any news on this ones?

loool... sorry to say but without a functional blockchain, market is busted. market was broken and irrelevant anyways.

and the storage function is also broken, even before the fork.

I'm interested if the features have been released or that the code will come later.
I'm not convinced that those going to work even with a solid blockchain so i'm eager to see them at list in code mode Wink

774  Economy / Speculation / Re: is Bitcoin going to crash to as low as 200 usd? on: August 17, 2014, 11:48:08 AM
There is a ton of support in the $400 range and the $300 range. There is no way we're going lower. I'm buying at any price.

There was also  a ton of support in the $1000-$900-$800-$700-$600 range....

No actually it wasn't.
When the first crashed came the support at the 900+ evaporated in a matter of hours.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | cPoW | PC mining | Stability | Hashcows - QRK Payouts on: August 17, 2014, 11:31:58 AM
1) Total number of transactions is 44 645 451 right now. And as i played today with the exchanges and done a few bets i manged to do 21 transactions myself just today as i count also the transactions where the exchanges and the betting sites moved the coins.Wink.

Besides number of daily transactions hasn't increased from too much from last years , just with 15% in average.

That would mean that in the last year we had just a 16-20% increase in bitcoin users?

2) Why can't they?
yes sorry its late, its bout 45 millions total. What are you saying, bitcoin should have visa transaction volume after just couple of years ?

They can try but because Quark devs implemented an automatic checkpoint system it verifies for double spend attacks and if one is found then some measures are applied, I don't know the technicalities because its sort of firewall so if we know how it works we can make an workaround, but most likely that bad node gets banned(read moer about banscore and bantime) and/or the block gets orphaned. The trusted node on which the checkpoints are being verified is in Max's control but I don't know exactly what measures are applied but basically Quark is protected against double spends even with a low hashrate. I have tried studying the tcp traffic and its very interesting how it works, with every node our Quark client connects we exchange info about the past checkpoints but because its binary I wasn't able to see exactly whats going on.

So basically you don't rally know how it works but you are sure that it will work.
To me that would mean to be over confident of something that might make me lose money.. err had made me lose money.

Let's say that this "banning" of a "node" lols , can't help the laugh , works.
Again , how many i5 cores do i need at the current rate to keep the blocks empty and deny any transactions?

Because the Fascist States of America (FSA) aren't going in there for humanitarian reasons, but for oil.

Largest oil field in Irak is explored by Lukoil so stop with this BS.

What was the us after in Somalia? They wanted their sand?
The area in which they started bombing was in the Kurdish region of the country, where the large oil fields are.
Stop being a sheep.

The largest oil fields are in the south , get a map , a pair of glasses and do your lessons before shouting non-sense.
But , what to a expect from a us hater that in all his post in this forum is doing nothing but replaying rt news.

This is the most entertaining thread right now.

Lots of people claiming that chain is forked , lots of them claiming that it's not with 90% of them not having a damn clue what a fork means.

This forum has been invaded by newbies who don't give a damn about the rest of the subforums , without a clue about how cryptos work they go straight to the alt coin section , select a coin that they think is going to the moon and become blinded zealots.

And if you are to criticize something it mean your spread FUD.

Withdraws started after the nxt hack?

I'm seeing a few people aren't able to do so and this is not the only coin that seems affected.
779  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin survive without the Internet? on: August 17, 2014, 09:37:44 AM
If Internet has shut down, the whole world will affect not only bitcoin. So I think living without the Internet nowadays is impossible to happened.

Yes, it's possible if some authority decide to shut down Internet but hope this will never happen.
There was an editorial in the WSJ today that highlighted the thread of a nuke being detonated over North America. It said that the EMP would do serious damage to the entire country. I would argue that this would be the only real way to shut down the internet and/or "ban" bitcoin.

It's not that complicated.
Remember that woman in Georgia that cut a few cables and two countries were left offline for two days?

The internet is just a bunch of computers hooked with cables , cut 4 or 5 of the most important ones and chaos will rule.

780  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin still 300% of the Price 1 Year ago. on: August 17, 2014, 09:32:07 AM
We have to wait and see.
If November we'll have still 500$ level will be an huge loss in last year.

Indeed if price stays the same , in just 4 months we will have to say , bitcoin has lost 50% of it;s value.
But probably then most bullish people will say , hey bitcoin has gained 5x in two years.

Choosing randomly the times of comparison is no way tot do it.
