Can anyone answer this - why did the devs return 234btc back to moolah? And regarding to rumors here they should be used these money for forming buy wall. Buy wall 200+btc set. But money has been already returned. Is something wrong with this?

the answer is a simple one - it was a public display that they are serious and committed to the join - it's was kid of like taking money for work that was not done right - they're fixing the wallet now beause that's their responibility.

after a while you'll come across some coins where the devs take the ipo money and simply disappear - these guys are not that way...

I respect them for that...

and when the dust settles - please feel free to mine this coin at sys.lifeforce.info

Smiley

Absolutely. It was a statement of transparency.  The devs are saying, "We won't get our money until you get yours." Smiley

You both don't understand the question.
Those btc were meant for the walls.
The btc got returned.
Why where the btc still in the support walls?

Armed men attack Liberia Ebola clinic, freeing patientients.

"Armed men attacked an Ebola clinic in Monrovia, local witnesses told Agence France Presse. As many as 29 potentially Ebola-infected patients fled".

"The attack comes just one day after a report of a crowd of several hundred local residents, chanting, 'No Ebola in West Point,' drove away a burial team and their police escort that had come to collect the bodies of suspected Ebola victims in a slum in the capital, Reuters reports. The mob then forced open an Ebola isolation ward and took several patients out, many saying that the Ebola epidemic is a hoax."

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/report-armed-men-attack-liberia-ebola-clinic-freeing-patients/

So no wonder it is spreading...

Let natural selection do it's job.
Idiots first.

The next time when they come crying and demanding medicine they should be shot dead on the spot.
I don't think someone that is asking for medical help is an idiot. I would say the opposite actually. Someone who asks for medical help instead of hoping they will get better is intelligent and educated. For the most part it is not their fault that they contracted ebola and if it was their fault it was because they were using their skills to try to prevent it from spreading (meaning they are doctors who are helping with the quarantine efforts).

I was talking about the ones that stormed the hospital.
At least a few of them will come back begging to be saved.

Also there are a few reports that some of the patients run away and never came back. Those are also intelligent and educated?

There realy is something interesting behind what u stated.

When you look at all the recent floods, diseases and unexplained plane crashes it realy does seam like higher power is fighting back.
Dont know why they dont start with top 1% richest population tho, since they are the biggest disease in the world .

When your stash of bitcoins will make you one of the wealthy ones , are you going to say the same?
What are you going to respond to the people who will at that time post the same thing about you being a cancer?

I'm not Pro Russian nor Pro American. My view is neutral, what I saw is Ukraine keep claiming they destroy the Russian hardware but no location is given, no numbers, no pictures and no witnesses only a pure hearsay.

And then please let me know you managed to get it all wrong.

I asked both of them to stop spreading those info without proof.

I also told them that this bullshit propaganda on BOTH sides is getting too annoying.

Yet you come out of the blue and start the same non-sense again.

If your view is neutral why don't you ask for proofs for their claims.
We have about 200 just above in those immense walls of text quoting Russian propaganda.

Way to completely ignore his point. Ukraine claimed they destroyed dozens of Russian APC's filled with Russian troops. Then they never send any proof and even NATO says they can't confirm. Obviously whole thing is made up. Is that so difficult for you to understand?

And just because the other side doesn't show any proofs for it you come here with your walls of text and tweets and we should believe them.

Breaking news almost always hits twitter before it is seen in any news reports, especially direct frontline battle updates.

For example, when the MH17 crash happened there were over a dozen tweets about it 20 minutes before it hit the mainstream media. Is that not pertinent information?

Not every tweet is 100% accurate information, but I cannot control that, some of them are true and some are not. There is no reason not to post them, because you often end up with some accurate battle updates.

Secondly, my "walls of text" are legitimate articles if you would bother to read them.

RT's article about Right Sector is perfectly verifiable from outside sources (the statement they posted on their own website)

The second article I posted is a military briefing directly from the Rebels. It is the most up to date information on the civil war currently taking place.

Your logic is farcical at best. You fail.

Let me requote myself on this , about the information form Russian media.

And about the tweets...how many times has Morgan Freeman died already according to tweets?

Yep, exactly because of that. No one is obliged to prove the correctness or incorrectness of any delusions on the request. Proof should be provided by the person who claims something. Any other approach doesn't make any sense and that was proven many times.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell%27s_teapot

Otherwise you can claim that I'm a Jesus Christ and ask me to proove otherwise... Bloody hell, isn't that a sign of stupidity? Cheesy

Let me rephrase this for you you then.

If the other side comes with a bullshit story with no proofs you feel the need to post another story with the same lack of proofs.
Just because the others can't back their claims you do the same.

I have a client who wants to pay in Bitcoin & Bitleu currency a contract of 500 million euro value for building a small eco city.
It is hard to transfer money because they are now in the investment Deutsche Bank in Germany... Must move them to a commercial bank accepted by DB, and then to an exchange for buying Bitcoin and Bitleu. If everything works well will let you know.
However, we are still looking for a Bitcoin friendly bank in Europe... do you know any?
Thanks!

Lols

How long will that take?

Cows reach maturity after at least 9 moths but most at 12 , add this to the gestation period so it will take two years just to have ready the new cows to enlarge the herds. add the same period to start producing extra meat.

Of course , the farmers could buy those cows....from europe who will have plenty;).

The reason russia was importing food from europe was because it was cheaper the hike will be reflected in the people wallets.
Along with the 3% new sale tax that will be added next year.
And with the 6% yearly inflation.

I don't know about Argentina and even less about the prospects in Brazil.

I think Turkey, now you mentioned it, could be a real contender.  Turkey is very well integrated in the international tourism market, has a remittance population in Germany which sends money home and then there are those rules you mentioned.  It was the exchange rules that convinced some Chinese to go big into Bitcoin.

I'm rather excited that now there is supposedly 4000 bank terminals in Ukraine which accept Bitcoin but the problem is I don't want to vacation in a country and have my hotel or hostel get blown up by a ballistic missile.

751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | cPoW | PC mining | Stability | Hashcows - QRK Payouts on: August 17, 2014, 03:37:21 PM
1) Total number of transactions is 44 645 451 right now. And as i played today with the exchanges and done a few bets i manged to do 21 transactions myself just today as i count also the transactions where the exchanges and the betting sites moved the coins.Wink.

Besides number of daily transactions hasn't increased from too much from last years , just with 15% in average.

That would mean that in the last year we had just a 16-20% increase in bitcoin users?

2) Why can't they?
yes sorry its late, its bout 45 millions total. What are you saying, bitcoin should have visa transaction volume after just couple of years ?

They can try but because Quark devs implemented an automatic checkpoint system it verifies for double spend attacks and if one is found then some measures are applied, I don't know the technicalities because its sort of firewall so if we know how it works we can make an workaround, but most likely that bad node gets banned(read moer about banscore and bantime) and/or the block gets orphaned. The trusted node on which the checkpoints are being verified is in Max's control but I don't know exactly what measures are applied but basically Quark is protected against double spends even with a low hashrate. I have tried studying the tcp traffic and its very interesting how it works, with every node our Quark client connects we exchange info about the past checkpoints but because its binary I wasn't able to see exactly whats going on.

So basically you don't rally know how it works but you are sure that it will work.
To me that would mean to be over confident of something that might make me lose money.. err had made me lose money.

Let's say that this "banning" of a "node" lols , can't help the laugh , works.
Again , how many i5 cores do i need at the current rate to keep the blocks empty and deny any transactions?

I know you've got a job to do but i just don't this its going to work..

Here's why , you have to attack us when we are low so you need to use up the Quark you purchased on and off market (the big wallets) some of which is being liquidated now.

So you have to try to drive the price down but you lose your powder and better distribute Quark.

Next the benefits of the attack ...

Very Questionable , our core group are "battle hardened" to Banking Corporations wanting to attack freedom.

Many are versed with the destruction of the US constitution and how banks and thier agents are turning many nations into virtual police states.

In many ways you could say Quark supporters are the economic "Palestinians" we have the little we do have and its pretty robust , so we say bring it , in the wash up we will see if we have less or more than before.

We are very small and you seem to act like you can crush us , then do so.  Humans just have this way of bouncing back.

You realize that you're the one turning away most people interested in quark.

When somebody reads your posts if he doesn't go to the library to puke the next thing he does is close the page.

Sad launch but that being said, most rational people have a wait and see attitude but then they are hit with an onslaught of twitter celeb accounts trashing the whole experience and an army of sock accounts repeating things like "LOL #syscoin forked!" That panics them into dumping.

It all smells like #coinmarkets cartel BS to me. Who has wanted Mintpal dead for 2 months now and been watching Viacoin bleed out for weeks? Remember who was behind the massive FUD attacks with phony soc accounts on Uro the day it pumped from the moon down to crypto hell in 24 hrs? Follow the money...

how about instead of sending us to do some ScoobyDoo work you come out with the names , usernames and proof of what you're saying?

Also I love your attachment to extremely "interesting" and "innovative" coins , if you get what i'm saying.

Russian hardware spotted approaching and crossing Ukrainian border.

With a bunch of journalists checking the Humanitarian (R)aid Convoy, they are able to spot a lot of Russian hardware approaching the Ukrainian border as well.

Here is an overview of what they see.

[/b]

Remember that supposed APC column that entered from Russia that Ukraine destroyed yesterday?

They never provided any photos or proof or confirmation. So the whole entire thing was never confirmed.

In other words, the entire incident was purely fictional, made up by Kiev.

And have you ever provided any photos/
Just copy pasting wall of text and tweets.

I'm getting so tired of this whole propaganda bullshit from both sides that i almost wish for a knuckle to be dropped there to end it once for good.

Ukraine needs to provide the photos not Russia. Ukraine claimed they destroy the APC column and Russia said nothing happens. What photos do you need from Russia?  Smiley

wow !!! and we got a two lines post from you. Pretty rare post coming from you.

No i don't need any pictures from Russia , you seem to have a lot of those in your favorite thread where you post non-sense crap and questions.

Also it is clear that you haven't followed either the thread or the discussion.
Now go back , read it one time more try to understand the flow of the discussion and try again to post.

Also please do it in a way I wouldn't assume you're posting just for your sig.

754  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin survive without the Internet? on: August 17, 2014, 03:03:02 PM
If Internet has shut down, the whole world will affect not only bitcoin. So I think living without the Internet nowadays is impossible to happened.

Yes, it's possible if some authority decide to shut down Internet but hope this will never happen.
There was an editorial in the WSJ today that highlighted the thread of a nuke being detonated over North America. It said that the EMP would do serious damage to the entire country. I would argue that this would be the only real way to shut down the internet and/or "ban" bitcoin.

It's not that complicated.
Remember that woman in Georgia that cut a few cables and two countries were left offline for two days?

The internet is just a bunch of computers hooked with cables , cut 4 or 5 of the most important ones and chaos will rule.

http://gizmodo.com/5912383/how-to-destroy-the-internet
What's even more scary is that the power grid is pretty similar.  There are only a few places through which a lot of the electricity passes (at least in the US).  Although, I would imagine that a lot of places could still get at least some power from local power plants.  I'm not sure how all of that is set up.

To power up your house you only need your equipment.
Solar panels , wind or gas generators.

In the case of the internet you don't only need your computer and your equipment but you also need the others to have those and in place plus a way of communicating with them.

You can have your own power plant but you can't have your own internet.

Hmm, i hope the americans just get the medicin right in time.

The news is that both the infected Americans are showing great improvement (Nancy Writebol and Kent Brantly). They were being treated with the experimental drug (ZMapp). Dr. Kent Brantly might be discharged from hospital within two or three days.

This is great news for them but not for people in Africa, also infected.
It's not fair that infected people in America can get the experimental drug (ZMapp) but infected people in Africa can't, like that they are second class people.
I really hope in the future all infected people will receive the same treatment and have the same chance to survive.

If you have only limited supply of a drug , who are you going to treat first?
An unknown person in a far away country or your family ?

Why don't you start donate for this cause and help them produce more rather that blaming others?
