Major cities are Donetsk and Lugansk, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk are just "outposts". And even they are not "lost", don't know what you actually meant by this word... Where I live, we call cities with a population of more than 100,000 as major cities. Yes. They are lost. Kramatorsk is almost fully under the control of the Ukrainian Army, while Slavyansk is almost 50% under their control. Stalingrad was over 90% controlled by Wehrmacht, but the Soviets still didn't lose the city. It seems that you don't quite understand what's going on in these cities now. If the Ukrainian troops have entered into, say, Kramatorsk, this doesn't in the least mean that they begin controlling it. They may control a block, a street (or two) at the moment, but not the whole city all the time... Slight difference that can change all the picture. Stalingrad was never completely encircled by the Wehrmacht. Also , rebels can't expect an army twice as big as their foe to come to their help.

^^^^ Here: Convert million cubic meter / day to billion cubic meter / year by *0.365 Seems like for the moment nordstream and yamal can take almost all the capacity. But I doubt that the gas can be pumped from there to it's normal destination. Also those are March numbers and the figures will change dramatically in October - November. Becoming interesting. Bad news for my Bulgarian neighbors .

^^^ probably the work of Al Shabab (the Somali Islamist Group). The region around Lamu is inhabited by ethnic Somalis as well. Boko Haram is not active outside Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon and Chad.
Indeed it seems like that. Al-Shabab militants are suspected of having carried out the attack But still the attack happened in Nigeria and those guys will be target as well if finally the western forces decide to intervene. And we have the cause of the attack as well: He said Mpeketoni was a mainly Christian community.

Other / Politics & Society / Sexual violence in UK gangs 'similar to war zones' according to BBC
|

While browsing through newspapers I run across this one: http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-27815220Why sexual violence in UK gangs 'similar to war zones' Just the title was enough to make me curios about it. London has more than 200 gangs made up of about 3,500 members, according to the latest estimate by the Metropolitan Police. Some of those involved are girls, but they have a different role from the male gang members, says Lola Mustapha, youth ambassador for the Safer London Foundation. "They're not really fighting, they are being sexually exploited and used as tools," she says. In many cases, she adds, "a gang might kidnap and rape the girlfriend or sister of a rival to punish him
https://www.linkedin.com/pub/lola-mustapha/51/282/b08I want to know the opinions of a few UK residents on this. If this is true and you have heard of so many cases or it's just another article to drive clicks or this girl "Lola" wanting to make the headlines.

I think coin would only have some value if and after they integrate with oil but till then dev gonna get lot of firing ! By the way this man would be less afraid than others in challenging petro-dollars ! No. On the contrary , he would be the most scared one. He lives a life of luxury with nobody bothering him. Why risking this and face a "rebelion" or a car "accident". All the guys involved in Opec know they are replaceable with other puppets and they worn't risk it.

Gazprom stops supplying unpaid-for gas to Ukraine as deadline passes Bryant , you're the data guy , are those numbers the actual flow of gas through the pipes right now or the average pumped on ? It seems like the maximum capacity for the northern pipes is around 240milions per day, that's close to the numbers shown on the pic for all the pipes.

It's already pass the deadline and I'm sure the Ukrainians haven't payed a single cent. Check the news. The pipeline pressure is dropping, as the Russians have stopped the supply of gas. Within the next 48 hours, there won't be any more gas in the pipeline. http://rt.com/business/166104-gazprom-ukraine-gas-prepay/Have you read the article ? There is only one quote about a decision and that's: Russia’s energy minister Aleksander Novak and Gazprom head Aleksey Miller will hold a press conference later this afternoon. Although I don't argue the gas delivery might have indeed stopped there is no actual claim for that in the article. Not even one.

the US media is absolutely censored, mainly because media magnates own them and it helps them and their friends make more and more money. i stopped even watching the media a few years ago.. got sick of the CNN bullshit.
Why depend upon the government controlled channels such as CNN, BBC, MSNBC, Faux News.etc? Watch foreign news channels such as Russia Today or Deutsche Welle. Even France 24, NHK World, and Press TV are better than the CNN. Indeed , why watch US government controlled channels , please watch Russian government controlled channels . Or German controlled ones .

Look like one of your allies is agreeing with me on this one The Ukrainian Army currently outnumbers the rebels almost 20 to 1. There are some 40,000 active personnel deployed there (Army, NazGuard, Right Sector, NSA, Mercenaries.etc), compared to some 2,000 or so rebels. Also, the army is having air support. The urban warfare in metro cities such as Lugansk and Donetsk is going to be extremely bloody, but unless they get more reinforcements, the rebels won't be able to hold on for too long.
Don't you feel betrayed?

Yup , that's how the morning starts , and those are the sounds that call the end of this "rebellion". Russia has pulled out it's help form Ukraine. Crimea was enough for them , they are more interested in not worsening their relations with the west that in eastern Ukraine.

All members of APC was executed by Kiev maniacs. So the members in those apc who were supposed to be Ukrainian military personal have been shot by Ukraine soldiers. Right... And this info comes from the " Reported the press-center of the People's Republic of Donetsk" Do you see why I find this very hard to believe? Probably because they are reported by a sci-fi writer as Berezin? ))))

Interesting point. You think that the recent bitcoin price going down has made a few traders to get their coins out of mintpal and seek refuge in the $ or keep them ready to sell on bitstamp or btc-e?
Exactly what is happening. Then we might see the situation reversing. Seems like the btc price is testing 600 again on stamp so panick among coin holders should fade away. We'll soon know if that's the case based on the amounts traded on mintpal. And ..it's monday Does anybody have a chart of the entire traded volume on mintpal? (all coins , not only bc) Wow. You are right. Surprised. Given the FBI, China and 51% attack, I figured we'd be sitting under 600 for a month. For the first time I was bullish... China > who the hell cares about their banning anymore? FBI > they are selling less than a day volume and they are treating bitcoin like real assets 51% . Not the first time , nothing happened , nothing will really happen Anyhow I have placed again a few buy orders for bc but I'm not risking more than half of bitcoin in those walls till 20k. If it gets too much under 20k it would be the third consecutive mistake I've made in less than 24hours.
