581  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: November 27, 2017, 03:32:50 AM
If the percentage is 0.001 or less it's nothing to worry about.  Wink
582  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: November 27, 2017, 03:25:47 AM
If it's running fine and the hashrate poolside is good then DON'T.  As they say, if it ain't broke don't fix it!
583  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Tutorials on: November 27, 2017, 03:13:11 AM
Depends on which coin you want to mine.  If you want to mine Bitcoin, it is only directly mined via ASIC miners.
If you want to mine via CPU or GPU, go to the altcoin section.  This is the Bitcoin only section and we have long since left CPUs and GPUs behind.
584  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: HOW MANY HEAT EMISSION - ANTMINER S9 ? on: November 27, 2017, 02:30:41 AM
Just assume 100% of the electrical consumption is converted to heat, which is an excellent assumtion, and you'll get the right answer.  Wink
585  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9 Socket connect failed: Connection refused on: November 26, 2017, 09:53:42 PM
Takes a few minutes for the complete startup process, and you'll get the socket connect error while it's still booting. Did you wait long enough?
586  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question about ordering from Bitmain on: November 26, 2017, 04:33:54 PM
They are legit and I have never heard of them straight up ripping someone off but their customer service sucks and they don’t give a shit about their small customers.
That pretty much sums it up perfectly.  Tongue
587  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: when a pool finds a block, another block is often found by the same pool shortly on: November 24, 2017, 07:52:22 PM
Belief has nothing to do with it, it's all part of statistical variance or 'luck'.  Nothing to see here, move along, and mine on!  Cool

PLEASE DON'T YELL, and this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=383627.0
Hint-cpu no good for bitcoin, look into altcoins...  Wink
589  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: November 23, 2017, 10:25:07 PM

Glad I could help.  Mine on! Cool

I know that and that was I was trying to explain to the first guy commenting about it, telling him that it doesn’t update until the block is found,  I said it would be like 20 expected when we hit the next block and then the Vblob said I was wrong and that it would be 13.6 expected, after that I corrected myself self saying that I just realized that it was only 4 days but seemed like forever. After that the Vblob started insulting me with his correct calculations,...  and he was still wrong! It isn’t 13.6 it is 13.78! But close enough!  I just might hire that boy to calculate my profits for me, I’m even willing to pay double of what his s5 dusts out!  Lmao!  Cheesy

Yeah, I was replying to him, I know you know what's going on.
"Vblob", that's the best you can do??  And 'AT THE TIME' my calculation was spot on.  It's only basic math, duh.

You both deserve the ignore button so goodbye math clowns!  Cheesy

At this moment the expected number is mor like 20 and only 11 found! Which is’t good At ALL!
Wrong, at this moment if we hit a block we'll have 12 and expected would be 13.6  Roll Eyes
Hardly a chicken little panic situation. Wink

You realize that those stats only update when a block is found right? The expected is much higher than 12 right now.
Care to try again? Don't question that which you don't understand, better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. Cheesy
To the rest I say mine on!  Cool

I've been here since day one noobness and a single S5. Now if only goddamned Shitmain would get their act together and ship the S9 promised for the crappy, sent back twice on my dime, R4 I'd have a whopping 35THs here!  Cheesy
And I WILL NEVER buy another BiteMe miner and will recommend the same to any I know.
Waiting for the next Avalon from Canaan and they'll get my money.
Shitmain can go to hell, kano pool ftw!!  Wink

Yeah, well it's only Nov.17th so you're still good.  My unit was supposed to ship in October. Total radio silence for months now when trying to get an update on this.  Huh
598  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Buying Bitmain or Bitfury ASIC chips directly on: November 17, 2017, 03:17:23 PM
Been tried, didn't work then, probably won't now unless you gots mega$$ and inside contacts!
599  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: November 17, 2017, 12:50:55 PM
Shitmain customer service is for shit, and even if you pay to ship back a crappy miner twice, and they promise to replace it with a new one after a couple more months of delay, they then don't ship the replacement when promised. When you inquire as to when the replacement is to be shipped, THEY DON'T RESPOND.  I've been tying to get an answer from those assholes for over a month now, so Shitmain can go to hell.  Angry
600  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How much wattage are the 14TH actually pulling? on: November 16, 2017, 08:08:45 PM
You're underestimating the actual power draw of the S9+PSU, that's how.
