581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does this still count? on: September 20, 2023, 09:59:04 PM
Remote is just about to happen when you are connected to the internet IMO. It means that we don't need to do any more like moving parts from our computer if we don't have any intention to connect it to the internet as hackers couldn't connect your computer as well. If you are only accessing your wallet offline, that is safe already but if we still do it online on other computers, you are still exposing it to scammers.
I would say that nothing is 100% safe but at least, we did something that would help to have less possibility of getting hacked.
582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does monitor size affect trading? on: September 20, 2023, 09:34:23 PM
I use a mobile phone and laptop for trading and I can say that the experience isn't quite the same because it was more comfortable to use a bigger screen than a smaller one. However, using a mobile phone also has an advantage as you can easily bring it and very handy but if the problem is that I often make mistakes I don't use it anymore in placing orders. For me, if we think about being successful in trading, we need also to level up and acquire stuff that we think would help us to grow like having a bigger monitor size.
583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 20, 2023, 10:25:51 AM
Casimero confidence is also influenced by his readiness to increase his weight to be able to meet Inoue in his class.

Casimero doesn't need to increase his weight to face Inoue because they are currently in the same division.

You can check the list of boxers and their respective rankings; the boxers we are discussing belong to the super bantamweight division.

look here:
https://www.boxingscene.com/rankings
Well right now both of them are in the super batam class weighing 122lbs but previously Casimero was only in the 118lbs batam class and when Casimero wanted to challenge Inoue always avoided the fight and moved up to the super batam class then Casimero followed and returned to give the fighting challenge he had given to Inoue before.

The WBO and WBC super classes are currently held by Inoue and Casimero the WBC is ranked 7th and the WBO is ranked 3rd and if Inoue later accepts Casimero challenge perhaps one of these titles could be taken over by Casimero.
But from several rumors circulating it seems that Inoue will be hesitant to accept the challenge from Casimero because he has the desire to unite 4 titles in one Batam super class where two titles are held by Marlon Tapales.

It was indeed unfortunate for Casimero when the fight between him and Inoue was initially announced, but it had to be postponed and later canceled due to the pandemic. However, when restrictions eased, Inoue lost interest in facing Casimero, likely because Inoue was the more popular boxer and garnered more attention. Another setback for Casimero was when he was stripped of his belt, although it was a move he was planning to make anyway. Nonetheless, it doesn't look good when a boxer is stripped of their title.

Now, the situation has taken a different turn, as Casimero is the one actively seeking a big fight. Unfortunately, it hasn't materialized yet, as the opponents he has faced recently are not in a strong position within the same division.
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: September 20, 2023, 10:03:55 AM
But then again, it will have to defend his belt against the former champion Ancajas. Jerwin might have a good chance to win as Takuma is not well known to be a puncher like his brother. And Ancajas might have adjusted to 118 lbs already after his 9 successive wins at 115 lbs and most likely he had a hard time making that weight that's why he has back to back loses.

This is a fight that has fans split 50/50. There isn't a clear superior boxer in this matchup, not even the reigning champion. Jerwin has held the championship before, so he's no stranger to this situation. I'm confident he will give it his all, train diligently, and employ a smart strategy to regain his championship. In the bantamweight division, there aren't many vastly superior champions, so if Jerwin wins, he could find more success here, possibly even in an undisputed bout.
We're going to find out once the odds become available, but given that this fight is just under two months away, it's a bit early for betting odds on a match that isn't very well-known. No offense intended, this is a championship fight, but it hasn't gained much popularity, especially since Naoya (the brother of Takuma) left the division. It has gradually lost some of its appeal, and now we're paying closer attention to the super bantamweight division.
Although the odds aren't available yet, I've already predicted that Inoue will be the heavy favorite. We can't deny that the thrill of watching fights without Naoya is different, as most boxers in this division possess regular skills, unlike Inoue, who can truly dictate the pace by dominating his opponents. I've even watched some of his fights where his opponents hesitate to engage in the ring, fearing they might get hit and knocked out. So, even in what appears to be a one-sided fight, the excitement builds when Inoue's opponent faces the possibility of a knockout.
I don't believe Inoue will be the heavy favorite; perhaps a slight favorite is a more realistic assessment. Jerwin Ancajas has already made a name for himself in boxing, and we should not forget that he was a champion before. His hunger to win is still evident, and, of course, we cannot ignore his skills.

Currently, we only have comparisons to rely on (https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/bouts/789558-inoue-vs-ancajas-takuma-inoue-vs-jerwin-pretty-boy-ancajas), as there are no betting odds available yet.

One notable difference is the experience factor. Ancajas has participated in 34 fights, whereas Takuma has only been in 18.

Ultimately, it's up to the fans to judge, as we all evaluate differently based on the factors we prioritize.
585  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a boom again? on: September 19, 2023, 09:48:17 PM
Of late the price of Bitcoin has been going back up with it's current price at $26k (wonder why it didn't stay at $27k till this morning 🤔) and to me I see it as a possible step for something big to come, maybe before the end of this month, who knows this month might be better than last month.
With how the price has changed its shape of letting go of $25k for almost 3 weeks now I believe it might give us that screamer of hitting $30k in the next 2 weeks, but we should just keep our fingers crossed because it can still go back to $25k which is not healthy in the market.
I'm doubtful if it can show big changes in the next 2 weeks but still hopeful that someday we will be able to see Bitcoin reaching back to $30k again. But for now, it was still on the test side to all holders where patience was needed to the extent but if we are a weak person, I could imagine that they are now thinking about selling.
In the current situation, instead of thinking negatively, we'd rather think about buying more while it was cheap as sooner or later, a bullish price will come next.
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Just HODL But HODL Wisely and Securely on: September 19, 2023, 09:20:21 PM
Hold and just use the right wallet where to put our crypto. Many people have fallen into the wrong wallet due to the number of crypto wallets that can be found on the internet and it is really confusing which one is legit and can be trusted.
Yes, hold wisely and don't rush doing this instead, spend time doing research just to make sure that we are using the right wallet where to store our coins, or else, we're just throwing it away to these scammers. Avoid learning from making mistakes first...
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 19, 2023, 02:09:48 PM

It will really be bad for the image of Casimero if he gets knockout by Naoya Inoue. However, we have seen great fighters losing to Inoue so at least Casimero gets his chance against Inoue (if ever they will fight).

Yes, I would also like to see Inoue at least stay in this division for good and fight not just Casimero but other contenders as well like Luis Nery so that it can really cemented his legacy at 122 lbs before moving to another weight class that he wants to conquer.

This situation could imply one thing: Casimero's journey might face obstacles. His popularity largely stems from his winning streak, and there's ongoing anticipation that he'll eventually face Inoue. While the majority believes Casimero would lose, it's worth noting that Casimero has been unpredictable in the past and has triumphed as an underdog. So, it wouldn't be surprising if he managed to defeat Inoue, who is expected to be the heavy favorite.

Have you noticed that the names Casimero and Inoue are still frequently discussed? It appears they are considered among the best fighters in their division.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 19, 2023, 01:07:27 PM
Yes its good to part ways if both the management and players is not happy. For pushing this guy to remain on their team it will just create locker room toxicity and it can affect the whole chemistry of the team so I don't really get it why Sixers and Hawks choose to retain this players while they are already leave some solid statement that they don't like to play on their current team anymore.  I think this is not all about money or brotherhood anymore since maybe there decision is based on which team can give them a ring and that gives them big pressure knowing that they don't want to end their career without acquiring a ring since this is big achievement for some players.

The team's current actions seem like they're taking chances. They're aware that they're not succeeding in what they're doing, but they haven't opted for the worst possible solution. Trading Harden for players they're not satisfied with would be equivalent to letting him play, perhaps even worse. I'm confident they're simply waiting for the right timing. As of now, with no good offers on the table, it looks like he'll continue to play.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects. on: September 18, 2023, 09:32:09 PM
Investing in new projects were of high risk than investing on a known project. The top altcoins on the market gives the increased chance of profiting whereas we don't know what happens with the new projects. This can reach big or it could drop down in no time. For this reason most of the time people never suggest to invest on new projects. Even if someone wants to invest, it is good to go with the amount what one can afford to loss.
People had to think and look for a gem that would make them focus on new projects rather than planning to invest in old and know coins. Well, that was their choice either and what will happen to them will serve as their experience which could also change their usual approach towards new projects just like the OP presented to this thread. We can't blame them either because many investors have become rich from investing in hyped projects which gives them the idea despite the risk.

Bitcoin knowledge is not only utilized through bitcoin investment. You can take part in any discussion about bitcoin because you know you have the advantage over others. You can be a bitcoin enthusiast and work like a bitcoin influencer or you can be a bitcoin ambassador that will promote bitcoin in your country. With that, your knowledge on bitcoin has always prove that you can be an instrument towards others to learn bitcoin as well. If you decide to invest in the future, that's already your individual's choice and decision.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Stevenson vs De Los Santos - Nov 16 on: September 15, 2023, 01:46:39 PM
I think ML will give us a not so very attractive odds.

It's not very attractive, as indicated by this site, https://www.proboxingodds.com/. Here are the betting odds:

Edwin Delos Santos +530
Shakur Stevenson -900

I wouldn't bet on the Moneyline with those odds. Risking $900 to win $100 is a significant gamble. Instead, I would wait for alternative markets on this fight. Maybe there are more attractive odds, although they might come with higher risk.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 15, 2023, 10:56:28 AM
Another possibility is if Giannis is willing to adjust with his salary for the sake of another title, which may be far from reality, it's more on
the money side and no longer on any pride or any title in my opinion.

But we never know if he can adjust or if Warriors are also interested in him. Maybe they will adjust or maybe they will be willing to pay
for it and also with the luxury tax obligation.

It will be tough, but we never know how or if it's possible if both camps will agree on something.

That could be another possibility, as Giannis has been very vocal about winning a championship again. With the huge amount he made during his contract with the Bucks, I think he is already satisfied. However, the feeling of retiring with multiple championships would place him in NBA history. I also believe that once he joins the Warriors, he can further improve his talent and perhaps easily win the Finals MVP every time they secure a championship.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 15, 2023, 10:27:05 AM
Following your argument, it's true that after Inoue unifies all the belt from the previous division and manages to un-strip the current
champ from this new division, he gains lots of hypes and confidence.

While with Casimero, after being un-strip due to regulation, he's still trying to find that momentum to earn the position of being a title challenger.

They've got different position as of now, and we don't know if Casimero will have that opportunity to meet Inoue inside the ring.

I'm following Casimero's YouTube vlog and it seems that he is just taunting Inoue to fight but he is not so keen if the fight will happen or not, I mean he also got his own fight and make money out of it, the Inoue fight will just be a bonus of his career if they meet one day in the square ring fighting.

Casimero is not getting younger but he has his own money-making schemes like endorsement deals and business outside of boxing so I think if he can't fight Inoue that would be okay for him.

If it were only about the money, he could earn a decent amount. However, as a boxer, it's about achieving something significant before retirement. Just imagine if he could beat Inoue; that would elevate his name to the ranks of the greatest boxers in the lower divisions and open up opportunities for even bigger fights. I believe that if Inoue agrees to fight Casimero, he might ask the promoter to include a rematch clause in case he loses, giving him a chance to reclaim his title.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of advice is worth giving such people? on: September 15, 2023, 06:24:47 AM
Can you keep buying bitcoin if you have already get hacked like twice or more in the past?

No, I don't do it anymore. Might there be something wrong that I did that cost of hacking my wallet and emptying it but this bad experience will affect our mindset which it lead to not making a wise decision, and possibly being hacked again. In this situation, I'd rather give up than take a risk again, and accept that Bitcoin investment is not meant for me.

Those who still can afford to lose more and believe that there is hope will have to continue. But of course, don't urge yourself to do it if there is doubt already in your mind otherwise this will lead to regrets.
596  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had AI day trade bitcoin to make profits on: September 14, 2023, 11:09:36 AM
Many questions arise if AI is working efficiently in trading but no one will be able to answer them straight and say YES because, in the first place, it was not the AI itself but the program inside. AI already existed for quite a long already but it was created not for trading, therefore, is not really suitable use for trading.
However, I was waiting for someone who would show us some proof but for now, AI in trading is uncertain. I'd rather do it and use my personal knowledge than use this technology for a test.
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Appromixly how much time needs to recover BNB $310 price on: September 14, 2023, 10:41:59 AM
Though for sure it will rise again in the next bull market the real question is when is the next bull run?
While waiting for this better to start buying now or do DCA because a lot of cheap coins in the market right now which many sees as an opportunity to hold and buy more. BNB is still a good one despite of their issues with SEC, I believe they will rise more especially if their case with SEC will be cancelled.

This question worries every investor. And we will find out the correct algorithm of actions in this situation much later. It is possible that someone has already sold and in the future he will have the opportunity to buy more BNB coins with the proceeds. And others will hold it until the very end, continuously watching how the balance in the wallet decreases.
Now, BNB holders are quite uncertain about their decision whether they hold or sell. Though the situation isn't quite looking bad but it still creates worries especially those who invest earlier and have no market experience. I'm not going to wonder if BNB holders are very concerned about the drops and not wonder why some are selling their coins already for diversification. As the situation creates more panic among the holders, the more it drives the price to drop and that will prolong the recovery.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 13, 2023, 01:21:50 PM
Oh that's good to hear that he has his own gym now, I mean that's how you give back to your community. Of course he can used it personally to train if he has incoming fights. But it will also give other younga and upcoming boxers to train there as it could have a good facility. Until those gym that Manny used when he was still in the beginning of his career. Although it could have help Filipino boxers to get used to obscured boxing arena's and fight, but still good if there will be some gyms that they can start with par with many gyms in the world. No odds yet though, so we will have to wait for a bit and see what options we had that will likely give us a good return or profits betting on John Riel Casimero here.

Yeah, the gym is very helpful for those youngsters who want to be boxers as they have now a facility where they can practice for free and if they are serious enough and become a prodigy then that could alleviate them from poverty as most of the kids that are training in Casimero's gym came from poor families. Good thing that Quadro Alas provided some of the kids that have potential the equipment like running shoes and shorts for training.

This is the kind of sport that we should also focus on, a sport in which we can dominate the world, similar to what Manny Pacquiao has achieved. I believe we have the talent, but we lack the necessary facilities. So, these popular boxers who are already earning a decent income are a blessing, especially if they are helping potential boxers in the future. Eventually, we will have a Filipino champion again, and I hope Casimero will be able to return to the top before announcing his retirement.

No question about the genuine intention to help young boxers; however, the lack of facilities is a significant hindrance, preventing some from pursuing their dreams. With this action, it will inspire the young ones to continue chasing their dreams. I believe that when more and more talents focus on boxing, we might see another Manny Pacquiao in the future.

To be honest, I want to see people united again while watching boxing. Right now, there hasn't been a popular boxer that most Filipinos follow every time he has a fight. It could be Casimero, but his character in the ring is not the same as Pacman's, so he does not easily gain support.
599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: September 13, 2023, 11:57:22 AM
The market has a way of playing tricks on investor and traders but they hardly find it to be true, is just that they love the way the system is.
They can see the price of Bitcoin collapsing and they still have hope that in the next 2 days if I should say, that it will rise to the highest peak. And some crazy predictions has its parts to play and is some how confusing many or leading them wrong.
I can't really tell on my own if prediction has favoured many investors or traders in a long run, like they use each form of prediction to get something much profitable, like do they gain than loss?
That is why I don't believe someone who says that his/her prediction is working because the truth is that - is NEVER.
We can continue doing it (predictions) but not to the extent that we have to rely on it, we'd rather rely on what it should be on the market chart and make an analysis from that. The volatility of the market makes things hard for us to say what will happen next but guess what, We are still happy making predictions despite the fact that at the end of the day, we are all wrong. Indeed, the market these days seems not favorable to us.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: creating a token without money on: September 13, 2023, 11:26:32 AM
I couldn't really imagine doing that task without spending any amount. Although I don't try doing it but I know it needs some money to work. Why? You can't be all that free and ask all of your friends to lend their hands and offer free services to you. Maybe you can pay them small but not totally free.
But since you are asking about this, I encourage you to do it personally just for you to know if that went successfully or not. Because I was certain that nobody dared to try it because once you wanted to succeed, you also needed to spend more money on that.
