601  Economy / Reputation / Re: To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men on: October 05, 2023, 07:18:53 PM

but on the internet there is no such a thing as trust, only idiots trust random anonymous individuals.

That is debatable. Yes, trust can be a bit tricky on the internet, but it is not entirely nonexistent. You may not know someone personally, but you can still trust some individuals or websites based on their reputation. For example, when you shop on a well-known and reputable online store, you trust that they will deliver your order as expected. Similarly, you trust your online bank that they have a secure website and provide encryption for your data, and that they will keep your data safe. Also, when you read reviews or recommendations from people on social media or review sites, you are placing some trust in their opinions to make informed decisions, even though they are just some "random anonymous individuals". So, yeah! Trust is still very much a part of the online world.
602  Economy / Reputation / Re: irfan_pak10 is a scammer on: October 05, 2023, 06:49:28 PM
Yeah! Mindless automatons.
Automation? How. I think this is one of the worse manual labor.

Not automation. I meant automatons - those mechanical beings (low-budget robots) designed to carry out tasks in a repetitive manner, like clockwork! They hardly ever bother with evaluations or handpick projects to support. They just keep on doing the same tasks in these bounty campaigns, hoping that at least a few of them will eventually pay off.
603  Economy / Reputation / Re: irfan_pak10 is a scammer on: October 05, 2023, 04:15:02 PM
Maybe someone can do some experience like, get some random image, marge them together and post on the bounty (altcoin) section. You will definitely see some of those proof of participation or something with their wallet details LOL
That's something I would like to see: some nice bullshit image, standard text with applications forms etc and then at the bottom of the post "This is fake bounty campaign, do not enter" written in big red letters. I can assure you that dozens (if not hundreds) of lemmings would apply anyway. Cheesy

Yeah! Mindless automatons.

I have a feeling that majority of these bounty hunters operate with law of large numbers in their mind, hoping that if they apply to every possible bounty campaign, few of them have to bring them some profit and that's why they usuauly don't mind about escrowed funds, does altcoin project they promote makes any sense etc. And its be realistic, its not like they put any real effort into this (at least not those that do social media part of bounty campaign).

That is true. But I have a feeling that the majority of projects that organize these bounty campaigns are actually banking on that law of large numbers mentality. They do not care about quality; they only go after quantity. They do not care about low-effort tasks because they are throwing away a bunch of worthless tokens anyway. So, it is a bit of a numbers game for both sides.
604  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Harizen users spreading viruses? on: October 04, 2023, 10:19:43 PM

Therefore, I highly expect that whoever posted the RadiumX ANN topic, which contains a Trojan, is not the original owner of the account, perhaps another superficial scammer who knows nothing about the forum.

It is good that the topic has been deleted now, and I hope the account will be locked ASAP because it will harm many people who may trust what will be published through Harizen's account.

Yes. It has already been confirmed that his account has been blocked and harizenbanappeal has already started a ban appeal thread in the Meta board. He claims that he did not post the ANN topic with the malware link and that his account was probably hacked.
605  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quick outcome of 100 plinko bet in one second on: October 04, 2023, 09:39:52 PM
~

Most online casino games are all about having fun and giving you that real casino vibe, even when you are playing online. Take online roulette, for exmple. There is no actual wheel or ball in the digital roulette and there is no "physics" that will determine the outcome. Instead, it is all about fancy computer programming like random number generators and provably fair algorithms. Those cool animations you see with the wheel and ball spinning are just for the show; they do not change a thing about the final outcome. The same goes for plinko and other games.

There! I fixed it for you.  Wink
607  Economy / Reputation / Re: BD Crypto violates forum rules and should be banned. on: October 04, 2023, 07:55:00 PM
I used that address for only once because it was not a big payment for me and it was not sure to be selected too. So for a little payment I used that wallet address but if it was a decent amount of signature campaign payment and for several weeks then I may choose my personal wallet to keep safe of my funds. But I have done a big mistake that I used address from another user who was trusted to me to minimize transection fees for a little payment. That's why I am really very Sorry and hope you all will allow me to grow again freshly. You can see my previous posts to know about my effort to grow my account. And I don't wast to bear negetive trusts because of this misunderstanding. Hope you will realize my situation.

You said: "Same things is happened with alik111 he was also from the same community group and I was used to sell Bitcoin or other tokens in address as I can remember." So I ask you again: Is there any concrete evidence to support this claim? As I previously mentioned, the blockchain records do not seem to reflect any such transactions. There are no transactions that point to your involvement in coin trading with alik111 or to that specific address.
608  Economy / Reputation / Re: BD Crypto violates forum rules and should be banned. on: October 04, 2023, 04:14:58 PM

That time to minimize Bitcoin transection fees I told him to send his Bitcoin address so that he can pay me in our local currency when I get paid and I don't need to pay another transection fees because it was little bit higher.

But that is not really true, is it? You used the specified address only once on the forum to apply for signature campaign (8 months after alik111). You never actually sent any funds to that address, so it cannot be the address that alik111 used to buy the coins from you.

Like I said, I am still waiting for any tangible evidence to convince me to remove the negative tag.
609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's first tweet since 2018? on: October 03, 2023, 09:05:26 PM
Satoshi has been gone for more than 2 decades now, ~

Maybe you would like to fix that?

No. Satoshi has not been gone for more than two decades. At least not yet. Bitcoin did not even exist two decades ago.

U svakom slucaju hvala.

Wink
611  Economy / Reputation / Re: BD Crypto violates forum rules and should be banned. on: October 03, 2023, 07:11:27 PM
I can't bear negetive trusts when I don't worth it and you may see my previous posts and I tried my best to help others and to be constructive. I worked hard for my local thread also. But Because of misunderstanding my account is now full of negetive trusts what I have never expected. Kindly I am saying everyone to think twice and grow myself freshly. It's really very painful to see the current situation of my account and the result of my hardwork.

@BD Crypto, you keep repeating the same things (same as in PM), but you still haven't provided an explanation for the use of the same BTC address by both your account and alik111's account. Also, there are token transactions between your ETH addresses. To help me reconsider the negative tag, I genuinely need compelling evidence from you to support your story.
612  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Mixin Safe: A Convenient and Decentralized Multisig + MPC + Timelock solution on: October 01, 2023, 06:17:36 PM
Until now my little Bitcoin left in my Mixin messager is still reflectiing  with no option to withdraw. I'm 100% sure what I have there is just virtual numbers.

Ps: coins left after the review.
So you can confirm that it is currently impossible to withdraw coins from this apparent "decentralized, non-custodial" Mixing Safe?
~

Mixin Wallet is integrated into the Mixin Messenger App. Mixin Safe is a standalone service. I remember that, when I was doing the review, those two services were not connected to each other. I had to make a deposit from Mixin Messenger to Mixin Safe and then transfer the coins back.
613  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we need to backup Screenshots balance on exchange? on: October 01, 2023, 05:17:52 PM
Screenshots of important transactions is good because it is an evidence that is just some clicks away and don't require much explanation.
~

No, they are not! Screenshots of important transactions can be helpful, but only to you and to people who take your word for it. They should absolutely not be used to prove anything. Especially not important transactions or account balances, as they can easily be manipulated, altered or taken out of context, making them unreliable as evidence.
614  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Mixin hack! CEO Begs Hackers To Return Funds and Take $20m Reward on: October 01, 2023, 03:37:17 PM
Because these hack incidents are not so easy to happen without insiders, but they cannot be exposed because we do not have evidence.
If this is an inside job, then i think that this deal will be done, Mixin team gets $20M for free and the reputation restored, Business continues, nice move !!
It was indeed a good move. If this hack is really done by hackers, then offering $20 million reward to hackers is a good effort. Now if the hackers return these funds then it will be good for this platform to return the funds to their customers.

But if this incident is done on purpose and to get free marketing, then it will be a dirty game, the users of this platform should think about using this platform for the second time, why they are going to use this platform even after this incident.

I'm not entirely sure they would willingly shoot themselves in the foot like that. This incident will surely damage their reputation, and if they genuinely had a million users, I can assume that they will lose a significant portion of them as a result. It is hard to see them benefiting from the media attention they have received.

Their best-case scenario now is to provide financial compensation to all their users and hope that this incident eventually fades away, unless a similar situation arises in the future.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC Paper Wallet Recovery on: October 01, 2023, 12:57:55 PM
Thanks everyone. As much as it pains me, I will walk away from this and put it down to a very expensive experience.

What about bitaddress.org as a paper wallet generator. This time, of course, I will generate the wallet offline. Is this still asking for trouble or should I stick to hardware like ledger?

If you are looking for a web-based wallet generator, there is another option worth considering – a deterministic one. Take a look at https://iancoleman.io/bip39/. When using these tools, it is always a good idea to clone them and run them from your hard drive while staying completely offline for that extra layer of security.
616  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is there any promotion going on! on: October 01, 2023, 10:50:49 AM
I see different content than the screenshot. @DVlog Add the username or the link to that account, in the future or in similar cases, and when you are talking about individual behavior and not a general description of a problem, adding the username is necessary.

Overall, he seems to be begging for merits. If this is true, PM him to stop this will be sufficient, and if he keep his activity, a neutral or negative trust will be necessary. PM me and let's see what will happen.

Sorry about that. I have added his profile link to the OP and will do the same next time if I see anything link this.

It looks like all of his topics have been removed by the moderator. But if you look at the archive, you will see most of the posts have been removed as of September 30. He made 6 new posts today and they have been removed as well. Here is the link: https://loyce.club/archive/members/357/3573102.html

Yes. I reported a bunch of his posts to the moderators (and I am guessing some other members did too), and quite a few of them have already been deleted.

If he keeps this up, he might end up with a temporary ban or even a permanent one.
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mixin is being hacked on: September 30, 2023, 09:47:49 PM
Everything is making me more confused. Anyone help me to clear something up?I wasn't familiar with Mixin the first time I heard about it. It seems they claimed to be a decentralised wallet service. So how would their funds be stolen through a database attack in a cloud store? Was it their personal funds? Because users data shouldn't be stored anywhere on a decentralised wallet. Only users should secure their private keys. Without private keys or seeds, hackers won't attack users funds. It's the funds owner is Mixin, then reasonable. But how could even such a company store their credentials in a store? Why don't they use cold storage?

I believe those were user funds because I came across information regarding the company's plans for reimbursement. However, it might be better to continue this discussion in the other thread where some useful information about the hack has already been shared, or in the Mixin Safe official ANN.

The OP in this thread clearly does not know what he is talking about and appears to be simply trying to boost his post count.
618  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk telegram bots giving fake count on merits on: September 30, 2023, 09:18:25 PM

It was just a simple example I sets maybe trading bot might not be as same as this one, but who knows I have never used a trading bot before so only those who had used it could be able to give a full expression towards having facing same issues.

Oh, for heaven's sake! So you have never even used any of the trading bots, but you've got this hunch that this Bitcointalk notification bot might be connected to them somehow? Well, isn't that cute! You know what they say about meddling with things you don't understand, right?

How about you stop installing scripts and running bots you know nothing about? Otherwise, you might be back here tomorrow, crying about how your MetaMask wallet got "hacked" because, oops, you accidentally clicked where you shouldn't have and approved something you absolutely shouldn't have. Let us avoid that, shall we?

Cheating in bounty and signature campaigns by using alt accounts:

[BOUNTY] Vave - Crypto Casino and Betting Site | USDT Signature Campaign

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ax38ckXXWamhanhUJMhQoNam3kIYjNPppqtLUWyUupg/edit#gid=1273986599

[BOUNTY] Pepemo | Meme, AI, Fun! Break the Matrix PepeMo!

Both campaigns have a policy against alt accounts and both campaigns are managed by @julerz12.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mixin is being hacked on: September 30, 2023, 07:46:40 PM
It's over one week or some days making it one week mixin has being hacked, and the ethics of mixin or mixer is that any coin mixed by mixing platform is untraceable but they got hacked, the questions is that which wallet did those hackers hacked? Because if it happens to be custodial wallet or non custodial wallet as we discussed the security level of this wallets that means no wallet that can not be hacked and no wallet is safe for penetration. We do discussed of hardware wallet, hot wallet and cold wallet, so which of high security wallets does this mixin and exchanges use for their transaction.

I am a bit puzzled here... So, if you are not familiar with what Mixin offers or what their services are all about, how did you end up writing a review of Mixin Safe and getting paid for it? Was it all a sham, or did someone else handle the review on your behalf?  Just trying to understand the whole picture here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5460259.msg62660532#msg62660532

Did you lie that you actually tested their service and writing that review?
