modified server psus are great too: $5 for the psu and $10 at home depot, and Ive converted a 835W Power Supply that has 4*12V and 4*GND lines - 14AWG each for an Antminer and a 7-card bitfury
Hey what are the efficiency ratings of these PSUs? Thanks

Interesting... However the biggest question on anyone's mind is if this is actually legit ??
Well, I would be willing to do a review if you ship me a test unit.
Any timeline of when these will be available?
Cheers
+1 will do a review ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Will also consider selling using our site http://www.ninjatech.org

http://ninjatech.org is US reseller of in-stock BITMAIN H/W. We have already sold a sizable number of antminers through our site to US / Canada / Mexico customers. This thread is a sales thread with some support sprinkled in. Our main support thread is in the correct forum for support viz. Mining Support. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=348327.0 Thx greaterninja & OP

Wow, I almost can't believe they lowered prices. I took this opportunity to fill up my rigs. Thanks Dave and company. As far as the prices, they are generally ok, but still a tad bit tough given the diff trend. Either way I think after this it's time to put a pause on btc hardware purchase until the other asic mining companies are done shipping their gear.
Just wanted to ask if the v1 H (Old Style V1.2 H-card (compatible with original M-board only)) cards are shipping from stock or is there a lead time. Thanks ordered a few v1 H-card about one hour ago, already got a tracking number!!! Thanks Dave ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I also ordered v1.2 cards Fri evening and got a FedEx tracking number about an hour later. No scan yet, but I'll probably see that tonight. Cool thanks ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Why are the prize at MBP so overprized?
They aren't really overpriced. Very close to my target range right now. The difference with these are they are ready to ship right now vs the other companies that if you order from now you will not receive for at least 2 or 3 months. The chips are also more efficient than antminer and avalon G2. I doubt it. Antminers are running at 1.1V. If run at 0.9V Antminers would be almost as efficient as Bitfury. Check out Bitburner fury which run the chips close to 1.0V and the power consumption sky rockets to almost 2W/ GH/s The voltage is only part of the equation i think. The bitfury chips only use around 1-1.2W/GH at 2.2GH a chip while the bitmain chips use around 2-2.5w/GH at 3GH per chip EDIT: ordered 6 cards at the new price. While I think it could/should be a little lower, I had $2100 in store credit so 5 of the cards were 'free' (due to the september shipping delays) just need to buy 1 more antminer and I will cross the 1TH mark for my mine There's a firesale tomorrow. Good luck ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

nice USb, but i dont understand why - it draws far too much power for a USB port, so for the effort of getting it to work it seems like a much easier idea to go with the one-string or other design that uses 12V and holds more chips
It takes about 2.5 Amps, you can power it from an USB hub. And it also has a seperate power input that feeds the bitfury ASICs. When this option is chosen then the USB has to power only the processor. And indeed, we were just playing around a bit... Extremely promising design. Congrats ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) what is the controller chip that you are using? Thanks!

Bitmain have open sourced S1 miner. Schematics are available so volt regulator data sheet and some instructions. However, somebody with knowledge need to confirm what resistor to change or pencil mode.
The regulator is a 30AMP part and is running well beyond its rated limits.
