621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: March 16, 2023, 08:16:37 PM
I would say that Referral bonuses are waste of time for those who do not have friends who can signup under their referral links. But think about social influencers who have thousand of followers and they can gain a considerable amount of Referral bonuses. So in a nutshell, if we cannot generate referral income, it is the problem at our end as the referral program can earn you good amount if you have the people who can signup under your referral link.
That is just it, this just let me think of many influencers and celebrities in my country that are promoting gambling sites, you can register with their referral code and get bonus, there are many people that will register an account on such betting site with the influencers or celebrity codes  and gamble on the gambling site, the influencers or celebrities will make money from that. For people that do not have much influence, they will find it hard to make money with referral program.

Referral program has been a part of influencers' videos because they are earning a lot from it so it's still worth it. It simply means that you can generate money from it but you have to be strategic and should choose to promote a legit and paying casino. In our countries, lots of people are making money from referral programs. It is true that you must have lots of targets and might be creative when it comes to inviting and convincing people.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? on: March 15, 2023, 05:35:38 PM
Investing in altcoins is still a good idea but it is still important to be skeptical because there are still scam projects and nonpotential altcoins that might only trap their investors. Some altcoins are worth investng and there are also altcoins to be avoided. Maybe the reason why there are people who are holding themselves back from investing in altcoins is the fear of losing their funds because of the wrong pick of coins. That's why it is always advised to choose well-established altcoins so we can have a better guarantee of gaining profit.
623  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Beginners Should Not Go For Future Trading? on: March 15, 2023, 04:41:13 PM
When I started trading, i started trading on spot, then later I discovered future, I tried it and I noticed I was making enough money, I sold all the coins I bought on spot trading and I moved all my money to future trading, I started trading on futures and I was using high laverage, the funniest part is that I lost all the money which I started trading with, then I discovered that future trading wasn't for me and I quited.
Damn Bro! Your story and my story are similar  Smiley I also used to do future trading and buy high leveraged tokens. But at a certain time I feel that I need to be more experienced to do future trading to get success. That's why I am still learning and trying to advise newcomers so that they don't lose their hard-earned money by doing faults.

I've tried doing futures twice because of curiosity. I was just curious why others say that it isn't for everyone. I also lost twice and realized that it really needs a lot of time to do it the right way. It will be better to focus on spot trading first especially when we are just beginning and have it as a training ground before stepping into future trading. It needs time to adopt strategies on how to do futures because doing it without enough knowledge has a big risk of losing.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A costly gambling mistake on: March 15, 2023, 04:16:17 PM
"New users are welcome, please read our rules and regulation before making your first deposits"
I've been gambling in an online website for some time already, and TBH, I didn't bother to visit their Terms and Conditions, or FAQ's whatever it is. Even I'm a newbie, I didn't visit or read this one, and I'm pretty sure that the newbies are doing the same.

This quote isn't applied only for the newbies, but also for the gamblers who are gambling on their website for a long time. I mean I'm pretty sure that there are some long time gamblers out there who didn't even have a time to read their rules and regulations. What gamblers are thinking more is the potential profits that they can make rather than the security or the TOS of the website, and when the worst thing happens with them, they will post a scam accusation here, or they will rant somewhere else, and will share their story.

At the end of the day, this quote still isn't helpful for newbies if they don't know how to control themselves whenever they're gambling.
Most gamblers don't read it anyway. Of course it's advised to read all the rules before depositing money, but realistically it's not feasible for most gamblers to read a long text of terms and services on every platforms they have an account. I think an alternative solution would be to search directly for key points in particular inside the rules, especially regards countries' restrictions, number of accounts per IP, VPN usage, and account inactivity.

That's what I always do before agreeing to the casino's tos upon registration. It will take time to read long terms of services texts so it will be better to go on straight to the key points because most of their context only pertains to common rules that we are already aware of. Just focus on the usual questions that we want to be answered or we can check their FAQS for easier research. What important are we know what to follow and we know what we shouldn't do so our whole gambling experience will not be ruined.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Street Gambling Risk on: March 15, 2023, 03:46:53 PM
Is street gambling safe?
Well, I can say it's 80% not safe but even if you're into some kind of premium casinos safety is not guaranteed when there's something really bad about to happen. Well, depends on the street you want to gamble, before hitting up on someone it's best if you know them well first. The fact that there might be someone who will probably report you to authorities considering you're in public places there is a lot of thug minded when it comes to street gambling.

Street gambling is strictly prohibited in our country but lots of gamblers here still break the law. That's why there were raids and curfews over the streets most of the time. I think this is to control crimes and illegal activities and to mantain peace and safety in the streets both in rural and urban areas. It is not safe for gamblers especially if there's huge money involved. There's a right and legal place to gamble where players could play safely far from criminals who might chase them because of their funds.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of my big losses (Gamble Responsibly) on: March 15, 2023, 03:22:06 PM
OP is being truthful and being bold enough to share his own experience with us, what about others who can't even be proud of their actions or take responsibility for it, the mistakes we made were meant for others to learn from innother for them not to fall a victim as we did, but honestly gamblers have alot to say when it's comes to gambling experience and you will be so surprised hearing from others view in this.
The good thing I like about her is she didn't take the money that is being offered to her in exchange for the tips when she can easily do that. She will only say that she is not perfect and some of the tips that she gives still can fail. Others out there are only proud of their winning moments.

I think those guys only wants to show off or possibly want to make money from other naive bettors. Mistakes of others does not always mean or can served as a lesson to others because those people can still learn with their mistakes. Gambling is about winning and losing. The stories that we hear pertaining to it are almost the same but only differs from the amount that is involved.

Players who are asking for tips regardless of the amount of money that they will spend on it don't actually know the real risk of gambling. They might also have the wrong mindset that if a gambler is winning, he has a good strategy without knowing that a successful gambler could also go through a lot of losses and failures. If others are winning, we should not disregard that they might have lost a lot too before winning a big amount and that's what we should be ready about.

628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gamble continuously because have surrendered to the situation on: March 14, 2023, 03:13:53 PM
Quote
I got a picture sent from a friend who said there was a slot addict who no longer cared about anything in his life, even his family had left him because of his addiction, luckily he is not a criminal, he doesn't rob to gamble but if you have a friend like him, would you advise him to stop gambling like crazy and return to the family? because there is no way you can stay with him, you have a family to take care of!

That person seems so hopeless and he only relies his fate on gambling. In worse gambling addiction cases like that, they tend to leave or be careless about their family's future but I think leaving them will be a good idea. If that person is my family member, I will do everything to help him seek professional help because if not, he might end up not just losing his assets but also his life. Sometimes people who are experiencing hardships like this only need comfort and since they have no one to run to they rely on gambling.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BNB now? on: March 11, 2023, 08:14:43 PM
Hi guys, Is it too late now to buy BNB? Or can we expect huge price drop in this year?
it looks like for now BNB prices are still under $300. in my opinion, with that price, it's still worth the bnb to get. bnb is an altcoin that has a good future and it is possible that the price of bnb will exceed its current price in the future. I am optimistic that the price of BNB will be even better in the future
BNB is actually one of the best option to invest with. I'm still accumulating a good amount of it since the price is still reasonable to buy. When it comes to long-term investment, BNB has been one of the best choices because it rises along with other top coins during the bullish season. If we'll wait a little longer for its price to drop, we might only lose the chance to buy at a profitable value.
630  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 11, 2023, 07:48:41 PM
If other people's predictions can be useful for those who bet on sports betting, surely it can give them a win. Especially if the predictions can be more accurate, the chances of winning can be greater.

And for the tipsters, if their predictions can give them a win, it means they have started to build their reputation on this forum and with time, we will know their name better because they will be among the top tipsters in this forum.
Actually there are no sports predictions that are accurate because all the odds from the analysis are based on a review of each other's opinions, all predictions related to sports are not guaranteed to achieve maximum results and everything really depends on luck, so if you follow the predictions of other people's predictions without consideration then you have bet Without knowing the strategy for that match, you have to improve your analysis skills of the sports match and even though you have confirmed the prediction to win the bet, it is highly recommended not to increase the bet too high and keep the bet within the limit of funds you can afford to lose.

Yeah, betting is not an investment, its all about adrenaline... All the gambilng strategies to be sure of your bet to win is to launch your own casino... And btw it also wont work Cheesy  Guaranteed win in gambling is not to take part in it, I assume Cheesy

Relying on others' predictions all the time will not help you improve your intellectual ability. There's n such thing as perfect and accurate prediction so I don't think it's wise to rely on the opinion of others. It will be better to learn how a certain game or sport works so you will have an idea of how to analyze it. The gambling result is mostly luck based and we can actually create our own predictions based on our analytical knowledge regarding sports and other forms of gambling.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is for the strong. on: March 11, 2023, 07:30:31 PM
You mentioned losses being overwhelming and asking how people feel. I think the big problem with gambling is that people expect to win. With expectations comes disappointment. The one way to make sure that you are enjoying gambling is to use it as entertainment. You place a bet on a game, you watch the game, and it’s more exciting because you have skin in the game. Making a bet hoping to win money because you need it is a bad situation that you don’t ever want to enter into.

Huge disappointments come in the end if a person has bet the funds that he can't afford to lose. Sometimes we are carried out by our emotions and tend to bet more just so we can recover from our losses which usually end up in the worst situation. I agree that gambling is for strong people who can control themselves and don't put too much emotion into gambling. Right from the beginning, we should be responsible enough to set limitations and have the proper mindset toward gambling.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: The cost of living is trying to kill the living on: March 10, 2023, 05:33:49 PM
While growing up things were quite easy, an I also know that life was also easy for the common man, not until 2018 that things start changing for the worst, from then till now the rate at which inflation have struck my country to an all time high is so alarming.
Everyday price of things keeps on changing but the salaries of a civil servants still remain the same, the money that we use too feed from, buy water, pay rent, pay for light an even save from, now it can't even service our monthly needs for even half of the month.
Most times I feel for people that have many children because too get basic needs in today's economy is very difficult,
the annoying part is that the government an it agencies are doing nothing or less about the cost control of goods and services in the state.
An this has created a torn in the lives of many as situations keep on getting worse by the day.
Am wondering if it's the same experience in another part of the world.

I think all countries are experiencing it, the cost of living is very high at the moment, compared to existing income, you need extra work at this time if you want to earn more money,
the government is indifferent in economic matters, only believes in reports with inaccurate data, without looking down on the economic condition of its people

With the current situation that we are dealing with, we have no choice but to save and minimize our expenses. Proper budgeting is now necessary regardless of the amount of our monthly income. Saving is not becoming a challenging thing because most of the time, our salaries are just enough to buy our basic needs and to pay our bills. I agree that doubling our job will help or at least have a part time job for us to have a tighter budget and at least we can get rid of financial distress.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: reasons why someone wants to pay in tether and not bitcoin? on: March 10, 2023, 04:43:57 PM
Tether is considered to be a stable cryptocurrency, which means that one need not worry about the volatility associated with other cryptocurrencies. However, it should be noted that accepting payment in Tether may not result in any gains. In contrast, Bitcoin payments offer the possibility of holding for profits if its value appreciates.

Ultimately, the decision to accept Tether or Bitcoin payments is a matter of individual preference.

Anyone can use any of these currencies because they are both trusted and reliable. It's just that some users prefer tether because of its stability compared to Bitcoin which has high volatility. Stablecoins are good for transacting because we won't worry about price changes, unlike other coins which could completely change the price anytime which is not under our control. Some coins are better as an investment while others are for transacting and payments.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest Win So Far at Fortune.st Casino on: March 10, 2023, 04:18:39 PM
OP i realized how important this kind of winning may be to your organizations but you should also considers it more appropriate if the winner can come onboard to testify for the claim on this, this would help gamblers believe in it the more and clear their doubts, but for the fact that someone wins this amount doesn't mean it has been the highest casino winning we are to experience, but it can motivate others too but what keeps them in staying with your casino is the kind of reputation you keep and maintain in getting the gambler's trust.
It will have a bad interpretation if Op will be the one to testify for his casino and not the player hilself because it will look like he is promoting too much about his casino without proving that his proof is legit and trusted. Reviews and testimonies must come from the users and not from staff and owners. It's better to ask the winner to show off and share his winning story because that can boost the trust rate of the casino.
635  Economy / Gambling / Re: they are scamming us? on: March 10, 2023, 03:43:38 PM
Everyone and anyone can judge on their own about these cases. The casinos are there to maximise the profit and players are aware of it of course. If you feel that the site is letting you down too often, to the point in which you can easily notice, then is time to think of migrating to another place. If you are suspicious, do some numbers - it is boring but useful.
Yes and as long as the player accepts the T&C the responsibility is laid on them to abide by all casinos rules and be willing to accept any judgement placed on them by the casino, so I wouldn't say that the casino is to be blamed if the player failed to meet any of the casino requirements and if the penalty is given.

-Casino is like every other business and the goal is to make profits but in doing so there must follow due process to avoid becoming a violator of player right and flag as a scam.

Casinos could rule over the site and if you completely understand their TOS and if you are on a trusted site, you might not have that kind of accusation. Of course, we can't always win over the house and we have no control over it and that's the risk of crypto casino gambling. If ever you are losing, don't think that they are scamming you because that's part of the risk that you have to deal with. If you are not comfortable with the recent casino that you are using, then you can simply switch to other sites.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Tony Harrison vs Tim Tszyu - Mar 13, 2023 on: March 10, 2023, 03:21:57 PM

This is a really a good test for Tim because Harrison is very good and durable opponent who gave Charlo his only lost so far. Right, win-win situation for Harrison as well, if he wins then maybe he will be the mandatory for Charlo again.

This fight is a challenge for both fighters, as the winner will have the opportunity to fight Charlo. While Tim Tszyu is a slight favorite, I wouldn't be too convinced that he will win easily. The winner of this fight will surely be deserving of the opportunity to fight the champion.

It would be very entertaining to watch a knockout in this fight. With Tony Harrison having 21 knockout wins from 29 fights, he is definitely not a boring fighter and has a high KO percentage.
I guess we’ll gonna witness a good and challenging fight here. Tim and Tony are both hard punchers, but I am rooting more for Tony as he is certainly an obvious knockout master so let’s see as to how this fight will end, or it will be another remarkable knockout game by Tony. However, Tim on the other hand has also an impressive boxing record so definitely, Tim is never an easy fighter too.

Looking at their previous fights with Tony, he showed aggressive strength in the ring which Tim should be ready about. He always throws solid punches and makes sure he won't miss hitting his opponents and I guess he is also preparing well for this match. I don't mean to underestimate Tim but Tony will surely be a big challenge to him so he should also try to catch the weak spots of Tony.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: March 09, 2023, 05:30:22 PM
Any loan and for any matter always has rules that must be understood from the start or before taking a loan by everyone, and the only thing that has the most logical reason for making that loan is when someone starts to feel an urgent need for their business capital. Because apart from that, it will be very difficult for someone who takes out a loan to pay it off at a later date because a loan that is not used for capital or put back into business will not be profitable at all.

This responsibility lies entirely with the one who takes the loan, since he is provided with an agreement with the conditions that need to be thoroughly studied. The same applies to all user agreements, by signing which we agree to the terms (when we register on the exchanges, each of us signs such an agreement, but who read it in full?) And this is all the responsibility that you need to think about beforehand, just like It is worth thinking about whether it is reasonable to take a loan for any investment.
I said that taking out a loan is not recommended for anything, because it has risks. When borrowing means that someone has to be returned in a larger amount, even if it is in installments, we never know someone's economic situation will run smoothly or not until the loan is paid off at least. Suppose we borrow money to open a business, which is roughly possible because it will produce money because the money is played back. But the problem is that the business will not succeed immediately, so there is a gamble here. So I personally definitely don't recommend it.

You can take loans if you have a stable income and enough money to pay for it in time because if not, you will only feel stressed and might be in trouble in the future. As much as possible, avoid borrowing money if you can still find other alternatives to sustain your needs because it can affect your mental peace in so many ways. If you like to invest, then save and work for it rather than rushing things out by borrowing. Bitcoin investment has risk so loaning will not be a wise idea.
638  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] GCrypto is now available to selected users on: March 09, 2023, 04:47:01 PM
Ah I thought same sila ng features ng binance kasi nag hold ako for a long time then naka cashout ako ng malaki that's what I meant sa paldo. Thanks for correcting, mag reresearch pa ko about dito since ngayon ko lang narinig tong Gcrypto.

Since nasa app itself yung GCrypto, sobrang convenient na mag pasok ng pera dito and mag HODL ka for long-term.

Though narinig ko nga na mataas ang transaction fees dito, use this app as a secondary source for HODLing BTC and not your main platform when it comes to trading/investing.

639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still hunt for airdrops? on: March 09, 2023, 04:22:33 PM
It can be said that the game of hunting Airdrop has become more and more difficult and complex. You will not be able to earn much if you do not invest in them. Do all you can with all your might. Very few cases are really lucky to receive huge remuneration. I've seen APTOS and now people are coming to SUI like crazy.

New projects these days use are taking advantage of their airdrop participants. Instead of getting paid, participants usually end up as the one who is paying and buying their coins. Fake projects are here and there and are just launching airdrops to fool people so it's really hard to trust airdrops nowadays. I think it's already rare to find legit and trusted airdrops because some projects these days were only made to scam people.
640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Trade on Emotions on: March 09, 2023, 03:54:23 PM
Whoever there is a pump in the market, you think you should invest in Bitcoin and Altcoins and you may benefit from it. But after your investment, the market goes down, and you think you are losing money, so you sell everything, again when you see the market go up you invest.

This is not about emotion, this is plain stupidity and naiveness. If you knew that you're a newbie, I wouldn't even buy Bitcoin or Altcoin if I didn't know what's going on with the market. If you're gonna say that we can't blame them since they are just newbies, no, it is their responsibility to study cryptocurrency first before buying anything. Instead of earning money, they are just wasting their money on their own mistakes.

Most of us have committed this kind of decision before. We've all become newbies and gone through trials and errors since we can't invest and trade perfectly. It's just that we have learned through our experience. In case we made that move, there's still nothing to fear as long as we are holding a potential coin. Just focus on the long-term hold and wait for the perfect time to sell again. As we wait for the profitable time to sell we should also learn how to market moves so we can deal with it.
