1621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Largest Slots Win in Washington State History on: March 25, 2022, 02:40:02 PM
No, I will not dare to play $5/spin in a slot, even if there are 400k max-win, because before I get that max-win, I will screw myself and lose so much money. Besides that, we do not know when the max-win will come and that is why we need to keep playing until the max-win comes. Besides, my bet for every spin is less than $1, so that $5 will be too big for me Grin

He has his luck playing on that slot machine and won so much money. I wonder how much he already spent before hitting the max-win because I do not think he only spent $5 in one spin and hit the jackpot.
I think the same, without a doubt that is a monster win that all of us as gamblers would like to experiment, but a 5 dollar bet per spin? That may not seem like a huge deal but taking into account how quickly you can spin a slot machine we could easily talk about spending 30 dollars per minute.

And I doubt there are many people that are earning so much money they can justify to spend so much money in a single game, especially when there are many other gambling games you can play which can give you as much fun with way less money.
$5 per spin are only for high rollers because they know what they can expect and know what they are up to, I can't think of betting $5 where I'm up to very big odds I prefer playing in dice game where I can bet lower and my chances are better compared to a slot, the winner of the lottery is lucky to have a girlfriend who motivates him to play, I think he should reward him for what she's done, he is indeed one lucky guy and his girl friend is his lucky charm.

They always say that the bigger the risks, the bigger chances of gaining huge winnings. $5 per spin is really huge, especially for small-time bettors and that will cost us a lot which could lead to huge losses but since they're willing to take the risk, their $5 cost has turned into millions. We could say that they're just lucky that day but I think it's their braveness to face the possible risks that brought them that wealth. Not everyone could have that courage though.
1622  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 StarBets.io 🎲 || A Crypto-based iGaming Platform 🎲 on: March 25, 2022, 02:14:05 PM
When the people new to casino, surely they will lose huge amount of money. So they started to all over the support to back their money. But when they come to now the loss are temporary. They will stop complaining and start playing the gambling. The roadmap of the project was different. Many new casino is coming daily. But only the real and ethical one survive over a years. The scamming casino games, will come an earn small money and fly to the dark room.
This is why we have to be very careful on choosing casinos because we are playing with our money and we should not deal to any new site without analyzing if the project is legit or not. Though with regards to losing money while playing, this is pretty normal in gambling. Anyway, welcome to the forum OP, looking at the project seems ok to me though I still see some missing information on the road map but let’s see if they are going to follow it.

If you encounter a new casino, you should really not send big amount to test the site.
Usually, you will send small funds to try their games according to your liking.
Also, you need to look out for complaints or feedback from early players.
Being new in the community, of course, they will resolve their player's issues as soon as possible.

I always advise people to make just small deposits first to any new site they encounter as that will be for the first trial and if the site operates smoothly there can thereafter deposit more,  I always see it as an exciting thing to discover new casinos but the most important thing is to discover a provably fair casino that bets can be verifiable on the blockchain.

It's better to do tests first and read reviews and feedback about a new casino site before depositing huge amounts of funds so you'll never have regrets in the end. That's the common mistake of beginners and that's how scammers fool their users. We should be skeptical no matter how appealing a new casino site is.
1623  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitDice.me | Warning | What happened? on: March 25, 2022, 01:50:50 PM
It is not surprising to see such complaints arising, as many are knowledgable about the issues that BitDice has been facing for so long now. Now, people will be more hesitant to even deal with them even just upon reading their name because of these issues that could taint there image here. I agree when OP said that how would they even response to their players at the state if they wouldn’t respond to their business partners.

The support's responsiveness is too important to maintain the good reputation of a site so since Bitdice isn't answering queries, it's already considered as a red flag. It's a good thing that Op is sharing about this so people would be skeptical and will avoid following or registering to this site. We should get rid of sites that can't put up a good reputation.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: March 25, 2022, 01:29:51 PM
Perhaps a new anti-trend will emerge.

Online casinos with increased anonymity and privacy will be created.  There are a large number of players who fundamentally do not want to go through KYC.  Such players may give up gambling altogether, unless new online casinos with increased anonymity and privacy emerge.

Some players like openness and transparency.  Other people value anonymity and privacy.

It is possible that new online casinos with increased privacy will be created based on the Monero and Tari networks.
I think that as bitcoin becomes more and more popular and it can be used to buy all kind of products and services then the more we will be able to regain our privacy, after all most casinos have to accept KYC policies because they have to eventually to convert their coins to fiat in order to pay for the costs of running a casino, but we will get to the point they will not need to convert their money at all and their dependence on fiat will end, which will allow them to avoid fiat completely, enhancing the privacy of their clients as they will not need to enforce KYC for every single thing as we see some casinos doing today.

Currently, the global financial system is in the process of transformation.

Traditional fiat money is depreciating.  World inflation is very high.  The US dollar is losing its status as the main world reserve currency.

There is an active process of creating central bank digital currencies (CBDC).  Large IT companies are also actively creating their own funds.

What currency will online casinos use in the future (bitcoin, CBDC, stablecoins or fiat money)?

I don't have a definitive answer to this question.

even if many fiat currencies end up hyperinflated some countries will probably create a new currency or push their CBDCs, I think we'll have casinos with both as it is today, CBDCs or fiat-based currencies and crypto including stablecoins

do you think there's still space for more players to come to this industry and compete?
seems like a hard industry to enter and with high barrier to entry at this point.
What players? the one that is planning to create a gambling site? there is still a space here and it will not be occupied easily. The competition for gambling sites has grown a lot but its still possible for a new site to get players because the players can jump from one gambling site to another and there's always new gamblers that will enter so they wouldn't care at all if they will play on a more older gambling site or to a new one.

yes, was talking about new competitors here.

Gamblers regardless of being new or old in the industry will always have different perspectives when it comes to anonymity and we can't blame their preferences and personal reasons. However, the emergence of crypto gambling will surely continue and develop in time and we must expect that new coins and even games will exist to make things more exciting, especially for new players.
1625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: March 25, 2022, 01:06:54 PM
Crypto.com has sponsored numerous sporting events, from fights to football. But sponsoring the World Cup is a global and very important step in the cryptocurrency world. People all over the world will see the name Crypto.com, which is very easy to understand, meaning that after such a big promotion, cryptocurrencies will have even more users, which will have a positive impact on the whole industry.

It's actually a helpful step so people will be able to notice the importance of cryptocurrency in all aspects of life including sports. Crypto.com's initiative will surely benefit the whole crypto community because it will gain not just the attention of new users but also their trust.
1626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That is why play to earn concept is a massive failure on: March 24, 2022, 05:46:51 PM
All of the games are built on the same foundation, with the exception of skin colour and weapon design. High game entry fees and a high learning curve for new users are discouraging new users from joining the system. Because of the unique teams they have, only early adopters are making a lot of money. The number of unique users registering each day is decreasing, indicating that the hype is fading.
I cannot agree at all with this statement, cause a lot of multi companies started to track and invest in blockchain gaming, i'm myself very pleased with situation cause unreal engines and engn token working very well if you ask me, i'm not feeling like i choose bad investment.
Just because the current games do not look good and do not create any hype for the game itself does not mean that we will not have any type of future game with great NFT's.

Simply put, imagine a world where skins in games like fortnight or counter strike were to be NFT's and not the way it is, imagine if it had limited NFT skins where the player who owns it could sell it and the company will make 10% from each sale? That would bring in so much money for the company as well.

Instead of tens of thousands of same skin sold by the company, it will be 10k skin sold by the company and then keep on making money forever from people selling to each other, even if people stop buying it for 9.99, they could still sell it for 1-2 dollars and keep you making money in that case.

Couldn't agree more. We are yet to see if play to earn can be integrated into games that focus on true gaming experience.

Exactly! But they will for sure! Since it's still early the concept is still very basic talking for gameplay, but it will scale into way more complex and high quality projects. I'm paying close attention to some projects and the effort, funds and time they're investing are starting to bring some insane sneak peeks. Of course, even if they bring true gaming experience remains the other aspect.. the game economy.  Roll Eyes

We can't blame some investors who are now afraid to take the risks because honestly, some developers mishandled the NFT games which lead to its failure. However, if developers of new NFT projects would handle their games well as well as the supply of the NFT coins, I'm sure that more successful NFTs would attract lots of investors again.
1627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you even helped anyone with bitcoin? on: March 24, 2022, 05:19:40 PM
It's been always told to hold your bitcoin for long, it would be more valuable in future. That's the truth and I'm one of them who converted larger percentage of saving into bitcoin. but when i heard about a baby of my friend, suffer from cancer and he is helpless, then i transfer a good amount of bitcoin from my saving. I know market is bearish, time to buy more but the step I've taken, is to make me satisfied.

Edit:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391063.msg59618951#msg59618951

That's a good initiative. Some people might say that it would be better if you would send them fiat but no matter what the form of help is, I'm sure that they would still appreciate it. I've done it to a friend whose house has been burnt and I didn't regret sending Bitcoin instead of fiat. It still helped their family a lot and that's too important.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto wealth can only be built in bear market on: March 24, 2022, 04:44:17 PM
One of the biggest problems when investing in a bear run is selecting which project to invest into because a lot of them won't survive a bear market. Investing in a bull market is pretty easy because in bull everything goes up. However, when the market is bearish, investing in the wrong project can make you lose all your investment.

If in doubt then pick well-established coins that have a strong foundation that could stand firm no matter what the market situation is. Take advantage of accumulating more during the bear market and wait for the bull run which is the best time to gain your profit. As for me, we're in the bearish season and it's still the best time to buy and start building crypto wealth.
1629  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: March 24, 2022, 04:13:59 PM
Speaking from the Philippines here. $1,500 per week makes $6,000 per month. In Philippine peso, that would be ₱313,491.01. That's more than enough for a group of 5 to live comfortably. Very comfortably, I cannot be sure as the level of comfort varies from one personal standard to another. However, that's a huge amount already. Our president only receives a salary of ₱411,382 - ₱423,723 per month.[1] That's only $8,000 give or take.

[1] https://www.imoney.ph/articles/how-much-do-philippine-politicians-earn/

That could actually put up a good business and the whole family could live comfortably. That amount could supply and sustain not just the needs of the family but also their wants. The cost of living in the Philippines isn't too cheap but not as expensive as in other Asian countries. If a family could earn that much, they could travel and enjoy life while doing a bounty or signature campaign.
1630  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 24, 2022, 03:30:22 PM
They both survive the match between Mayweather and they are both have experience in ring. Many enthusiast like this match because they know who has an advantage and place a bet on it, we know that Jake Paul has the advantage since he is in that sports and I don't think Conor McGregor looks good in boxing career I like him more in octagon.

Survived what? Jake Paul never had any encounter with Floyd Mayweather and he said before, he won't chase the Hall of Famer.

It's Logan Paul who fought Mayweather and there's no winner because it's just an exhibition match.

I also don't consider Jake Paul having an advantage on the boxing ring. He only fought a few matches up to this date. Conor McGregor, even only fighting once knows how boxing should be. McGregor can defeat Jake Paul even on the boxing ring, much ahead if it's on Octagon.

As for me, Jake is only making noise in this field but he lacks experience so Mcgregor would really be the one who would have an edge here. It's all about business after all and if Jake would pick to fight a famous boxer, it will also benefit him as well as his career so no wonder why his promoter is trying to pursue this fight.
1631  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading journals worth it? on: March 23, 2022, 04:26:42 PM
I came across an article a few days ago. But, I can't trace it back to share the link here with you. But, some points that I can recollect from that article are as follows.

People trade with their emotions: they have an initial specific amount to trade but, getting on to the exchange they change their mind and trade higher amounts which results in big losses.

So under the article, I could remember points like writing down every action you've made while trading. Stuff like, I lost xx amount of money today, made x amount of profits today.

Putting these activities down in a journal does it helps a trader to make a better decision? Because I know of many people that are in control of their actions. They got these activities recorded on their brain. Regarding it's related to funds or assets. They may not forget a single activity immediately unless in the future. And it's one reason I can say that a journal is good for remembrance only. What are your thoughts on having a trading journal to better your trading experience?

As for me, that will be a big help for you to track your previous trading transactions. In case you lose, then you'll be able to check and track back your mistake and if you gain a good profit, then you'll know what strategy would suit you. It's a good thing that you'll have a record to rely on because you could use it for your improvement as a trader.
1632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend crypto? If yes, for what? on: March 23, 2022, 03:52:39 PM
Here's a question to the audience. Do you actually buy stuff with crypto, like services or goods? If yes, what kind?

I've recently got a Binance card to play around with and use it to pay for everyday expenses. Works pretty well.

As much as possible, I always pick to save my crypto but there are some instances where I leave with no choice but to use it for our daily necessities, especially during the pandemic where most transactions are being done online. There are stores and online shops in our country that accept Bitcoin but I don't do it often. However, it's too helpful during the lockdown days but since things are getting better now, I'm just holding and saving my Bitcoin.
1633  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Sites on: March 23, 2022, 01:55:35 PM
Please! Is there any gambling site that I can easily sign up? I tried Gamdom.com but it is not opening either it is only loading since morning...so, I need a site that I can access easily.

Lots of casino sites are available and you could find sites where you could easily sign up. Stake, Duelbits and Roobet are some of the reputable sites that you could pick. You could read reviews about these sites if you also want assurance. There are also reliable threads where you could find more information about trusted casino sites.
1634  Economy / Economics / Re: Natural Gas, Electricity, Oil / Gas & Inflation- Nightmare Scenario on: March 22, 2022, 05:21:17 PM
The basic needs of electricity and gas in my place continue to rise, of course this brings serious problems, even for food ingredients in my place is rare and expensive so that many people only buy for basic needs, the role of the government is needed to help the people's economic, policy and assistance for microeconomics, of course, It is needed so that the economy can grow positively.

It's rising even higher in our country and most of us are suffering. Every economic sector is affected and it even affects our daily living. The government should function this time but instead of doing something, they're also taking advantage of it together with huge businesses. I hope that this nightmare would come to an end because, to be honest, it's worse than the pandemic.
1635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting more skills in trading on: March 22, 2022, 04:42:27 PM
It would really take time for you to learn about these tools and strategies but it's a good initiative to show eagerness and interest in these because it will surely help you grow and excel as a trader. However, you could focus on the basics and learn how to deal with the market first. It's a long process of learning but it's all worth it because you'll benefit from it in the future.
1636  Economy / Economics / Re: What skills should I learn to get freelance work ..?? on: March 20, 2022, 05:08:29 PM
There are things that you have to consider in picking skills that you want to learn. First is your interest, you have to make sure that it's at least connected to your passion. Next is your target salary and also your goal. You have to make sure that you want what you're doing and you're still close to what you want to achieve.
1637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A few key points distinguishing traders from gamblers on: March 20, 2022, 04:41:29 PM
distinguishing traders from gamblers is very easy, the trick is if we trade by a rule,
or the trading rule is to analyze, read a fundamental, and update the news, that is a rule to trade well,
but if we ignore it all and trade without having knowledge or skills, then it is gambling, how? you know it yourself

Trading needs skills and knowledge while gambling needs luck. Trading is a long process of learning while gambling needs perfect timing. Things will still depend on how an individual is going to handle these fields because, to be honest, a wise gambler could also apply the positive traits of a smart trader especially if an individual knows how to control and handle his emotions.
1638  Economy / Economics / Re: Anonymous hacker's group fight against Russia on: March 20, 2022, 04:24:50 PM
But even many Ukranians formerly came from Russia when USSR is there supporting the Russia as well and I will blame the president of Ukraine for all the Chaos because he ignored the warnings of Russia multiple times but now stranded in the middle of nowhere so the only way of ending is bowing, I am not supporting the Russia here but Ukraine president didn't understand the world politics so he went into the trap now.
Well, debates such as who is wrong and who is right, I don't think are really concerned anymore, apart from that, the two governments are still wrong because they only care about their own political problems, which in the end only hurts the people on both sides.

The Ukrainian people are now in dire need of assistance in any way, from food, clothing and of course health facilities because some of them had to flee and were overcrowded due to this war. On the other hand, Russian citizens are also affected by this. In the area I live in now there are some tourists from Russia who cannot return to their country due to flight restrictions, on the other hand everything related to Russia is also turned off which makes them unable to access everything freely even to just take money in the bank. it's not possible now because their cards are frozen, of course they are also very difficult in this matter even though there are still people who compare the difficulties but still the people of the both of country who suffer
Apart from Russia and Ukraine people every human also will be affected in someway because of fuel price hike, already in USA they increased price and it seems ATH but not sure and many other countries which are not that much rich can't do anything so their economy also will be affected sooner or later.

The global economy is actually suffering right now. Even Asian countries are experiencing the crisis because of the war as the inflation strikes higher due to oil price hikes. I think not only innovent Russian and Ukrainian people are suffering but every individual around the globe. It really has a huge impact even on the farthest country but I guess this war will still continue because Ukraine doesn't have any gasp of surrendering.
1639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoins with a good potential. on: March 20, 2022, 04:04:31 PM

A lot depend on how useful is altcoin.
Also it is necessary to store altcoins somewhere. That is why appear wallets that offer people new tools and services like this https://twitter.com/ownrwallet/status/1503739848569589764

Every day a lot of new coins appear but it is necessary to check everything befor investing because there are a lot of scums.
It is very important to differ scam from prospective projects.
Sometimes it really difficult to do this because often scams offer big profit.

Now many people actively monitor the market to find the most prospective projects for investment and invest money in the early stages of its development.

The idea of being an early bird in new projects isn't good and effective all the time because that's the new way of scammers to deceive and fool lots of new investors again. That's the reason why we're always advised to be smart and skeptical in investing in new projects. It's better to be observant than to regret things in the end.
1640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: FURY vs WHYTE - CONFIRMED on: March 20, 2022, 03:44:44 PM
^ In a statistic record of these two fighters shows that Tyson Fury has more advantages than Dillian Whyte. I am also in favor of Fury's side because, in my own technical and physical analysis, he has an advantage record which has the potential to win this fight and as you can see, it is a people's choice. It could be, Fury is a horrible style match-up for Whyte but let's see what will happen. Sometimes underdog players will most likely have a crown at the end, I remember Pacquiao'smatch on this when he fought Yordenis Ugás.

Despite Fury as the favorite here, Whyte still has a huge chance to win this fight only if he'll be able to counter Fury's strength and aggressiveness. There are matches where the underdog won so we shouldn't underestimate Whyte's capability here. He's also determined so he might surprise all of us on the ring.
