1561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbie invest on: April 10, 2022, 01:59:46 PM
Bitcoin. BTC

I would also have the same suggestion. Bitcoin will always be the best choice especially when it comes to long-term investment. Bitcoin could strike a good price when good events and adaptions happen so holding it will surely give a good profit in time. Top coins like ETH and BNB are also good choices.
1562  Economy / Gambling / Re: RATING of TOP 20 CRYPTOCURRENCY SPORTSBOOKS on: April 10, 2022, 01:38:48 PM
My guess is that in your opening post you removed 1xBit in fear of community criticism?
You can see for yourself (your trust) that Bitcointalk trust ratings don't always reflect the truth.
I'm glad you made an honest review on your website at least.
Keep up the good work!

The fact is that our rating is not static, the positions of all sites there are floating. It's just that after the last update, the positions of several sites in the rating have changed slightly. Of course, we also try to listen to players' opinions when ranking the best cryptocurrency betting/gambling sites. In any case, the latest version of the rating is not final and over time it will change many times over. Thanks for the kind words!

It's a good thing that you're basing each site's ranking and rating based on players' opinions and reviews. It will surely change from time to time and there are also possible sites to be added but this list will also be a big help, especially for beginners who are trying to look for legit and trusted sites.
1563  Economy / Gambling / Re: Another New Rule On Gambling Adverts Ban Celebrities and Sports Stars on: April 10, 2022, 12:55:48 PM
Quoted from bbc.com news

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-60994728
Quote
Starting in October, gambling companies will not be allowed to use stars to target children under 18, the Advertising Practices Committee said.

Anyone with a "strong appeal" to young people, such as footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and Love Island star Chris Hughes, should not appear in advertisements.

The body representing betting companies said it welcomed the new rules.

Michael Dugher, chief executive of the Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) said the changes build on industry-led measures designed to "raise standards and ensure further protection in advertising."

The Advertising Practices Committee (CAP) said the "hard" new rules were part of its commitment to protecting young people and vulnerable audiences.

The new rules state that gambling and lottery advertisements must not "be a strong attraction to children or youth, especially by reflecting or being associated with youth culture".

References to video game content and gameplay popular with under-18s are also against the new rules.

There is opposition to gambling advertisements among some politicians, parents, and awareness campaigning groups around gambling addiction.

With or without these new rules as long as they are not educating their parents to teach how their children behave towards gambling we will still have a lot of young people gambling, this is not a way to protect children it should be about responsible parenting, the UK is a free commerce country and they deprive some celebrities to make money on a subject that they have no control of.

Prohibiting the involvement of underage celebrities in gambling ads will also stop promoting gambling for youth these days. Yes, parents has a huge responsibility but it's a good thing that BGC is initiating this kind of act to at least lessen the number of youth that are attracted to gambling.
1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in early stage projects is the most rewarding way? on: April 09, 2022, 04:44:02 PM
Investing in early stage projects during their Initial DEX Offering launch is the most rewarding way?
I think it always depends on the project and not solely alone  by investing it earlier than most of the people. You may invest early but if the project turns to rug you'd be weeping after that. I snipped that one you're promoting as it may hinder what you're trying to raise a question here. You can have a proper thread for that.
It seems OP is just promoting his project, when it comes in investing ot will still depend on what project it is and how competent their teams and developers are. Some projects are worth investing early to take advantage of the early discount price but as I say it depends whether the team have a proven background or a solid project idea. If not then better invest when the project already prove that despite markets volatility it still able to recover and keep their prices, unsure projects are better to be trade later than hold too early.

Things will always depend on the capability of a coin or project and the team behind it. There are lots of investors who invested in the early stages yet regret things due to unsuccessful projects that were dumped after an ICO. As for me, I wouldn't risk on projects without a concrete plan and wise developers.
1565  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 BTC365.com | 🔥 APRIL 2022 REWARDS BONANZA 🔥| WELCOME BONUS AVAILABLE on: April 09, 2022, 12:56:52 PM

GET 20USDT as a Welcome bonus!
*Terms and conditions applies

Thank you! and please let us know if you have any questions

Learned about free 20USDT. Conditions are very bad! Before withdrawing from these 20USDT, you need to make a deposit of 100USDT + your winnings and wager all this x10 and then you can withdraw.
How can this be a welcome bonus when players are required to deposit x5 the amount of the bonus? when in most gambling sites offers 100% deposit bonus .

I think the reason of them trying to prevent Hoarders is a common answers of the site that cannot offer bigger for their players .

But welcome to the forum , Hope that you'll gain players from this community .

I wonder why they're giving away bonuses but also giving a hard time withdrawing them due to their requirements. There are also good sites that offer bonuses but don't make things too complicated for users. You could attract players but will also have negative feedback later on so I hope that you would do something to make it easier for users.
1566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: April 09, 2022, 12:12:29 PM
I've watched the weight in.

I thought Tagoe is bigger than Garcia, but I'm wrong lol. I see Garcia is overconfident and I don't know why he act like fighting with a champion. Tagoe is non known boxer, no one is really expecting Tagoe win here and no need to create the hype. The fight will happen tomorrow, let's see how their spirit for TOMORROW Tongue

Garcia seems overconfident every weight in but I guess, despite all the underestimation, he will still have a hard time facing Tagoe though Garcia would still have an edge because he's young and always aggressive. Ryan will take this as another opportunity to make noise on the boxing community again.
1567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 09, 2022, 11:44:35 AM
They need someone to really teach the athletes to learn the benefits of BTC or just give them the option to receive stabecoin instead. Otherwise the athletes will blame crypto.com if the value of the BTC goes down. Having the stablecoin, they will still have the chance to trade it to BTC when they change their minds. I believe the crypto.com will pay them thru the crypto.com app, right?
I think athletes are not stupid, they must know the volatility of bitcoin price...

I support crypto.com's bold move because it will encourage stronger adoption, UFC is one of the most popular sports, by giving bonuses in the form of bitcoins to athletes, it can help them also invest in Bitcoin.

Yes, they are not stupid, and I am confident that they will become more interested in it as time goes on, which will lead to them adopting more bitcoin. I know it was announced to them earlier, and I am sure that they already have a basic understanding of it, its volatility, and how to exchange it. This is a fantastic step forward, and I believe that other sports will follow it and begin rewarding their athletes with bitcoin. This is a fantastic innovation in sports, and it will allow them to make more money as a result of it. Their compensation is rather plain, but when cryptocurrency is involved, I believe it becomes more interesting.

I am sure that many fighters will be happy to receive bonuses in bitcoins.

Wrestling in the ring is a very dangerous sport.  There is a high risk of serious injury and disability.

At the same time, Bitcoin is a deflationary asset.  Its price is constantly rising over time.

Basically, a Bitcoin bonus can be seen as a great retirement plan.  At the same time, unlike a traditional pension fund, Bitcoin does not go bankrupt.  The money is under your control (if you don't forget the seed).

I think that many UFC fighters are realizing the benefits of being rewarded in the first cryptocurrency.

It will surely benefit them because that's the fruit of their hard work. They all deserve a good amount of bonus but I hope that they would get a chance to get to know the importance of Bitcoin as a currency and they will be able to access it easily. This kind of Bitcoin exposure will surely have a positive impact on the entire crypto community.
1568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Be Under Pressure To act (Altcoin) on: April 08, 2022, 04:46:03 PM
It's a time to build your patience, there is every possibility that if you sell now at loss you might be buying at higher price later. So don't panic either you are newbie or an old investor as long as you didn't borrow to invest or invest more than you can afford to lose or invest in a project that you are not confident of continuous development and success. A quick way to make profit easily even on dips If it goes lower than your entry price then add more to your bag, with DCA and take profit as the market moves. You will be fine eventually.

Corrections and dips like this usually happen so if you're a holder or investor for a long time, then this scenario would be familiar to you and you'll know how to deal with it. In cases like this, panicking will only cause you to create wrong decisions especially if you would let your emotions handle everything. Volatility is the market's characteristic so we should learn how to deal with it all the time.
1569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: April 08, 2022, 04:23:44 PM
I've seen them pop up all around me, in small convenience stores and even restaurants. I was wondering if it's a good option to buy a gift for someone else, or are the fees too high and it's not worth it? Also I'm not sure how it works but figuring they give you a private key, and how safe is that?

If there would be a chance, then why not? I am actually one of those who are hoping to have this kind of experience but unfortunately, we don't have Bitcoin ATMs in our country. As long as my keys and funds will still be safe, then I would love to use a Bitcoin ATM so I could purchase something using it. If it causes convenience then I would love to use it.
1570  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you prefer lots of promotions over better RTP? on: April 08, 2022, 04:12:47 PM
Only new gamblers would focus on bonuses and promotions because real gamblers would prefer a good flow of RTP. What's the sense of too much advertisement if it will cause traffic and might ruin the whole game? Everything should be put in balance because if there would be a problem with the RTP, it will also affect the reputation of the site.
1571  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which would be better ? on: April 08, 2022, 02:29:28 PM
It depends on your purpose in gambling and your interest. If you only want to be entertained, then you can do both. If you want a thrill then casino games would be good for you but if you know a lot about different sports, sports betting would be a good pick for you. Both have risks but things will depend on how you will handle both of them.
1572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is the "Draw No Bet" not found on most sportsbook on: April 08, 2022, 02:03:11 PM
Currently, the system of the gambling platforms nowadays are just having a win or lose scenario. If the game got void or cancelled because of different circumstances, they made a drawback of the assets deposited by the players; just like a draw bet, we know that there's only one winner in the game, so they don't make a draw bet which is in favor with the players only of course this is the gambling works.

Players will benefit from this scenario which usually happens in most games. It's a good thing that they would drawback the bettor's asset if ever the result is a draw. That simply adds another chance to bet and win. That's fair not just for the site but for players since we couldn't actually guess the possible result of the gameplay.
1573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the criteria for choosing altcoin on: April 07, 2022, 04:16:07 PM
At a time like this most investors get confused about the right altcoin to invest in and this confusion always leaves many to wonder about what criteria to choose when deciding on the right coin to buy for a long-term base. Should utility alone be a major factor in determining a good altcoin and being speculative in the price?
Every investor must have their own criteria for choosing the coins they will invest,
the safest is that the top coins are good for long term investment,
but we still need to do our own research after all we can't ignore that
Its always so tough to choose the right coin where we wanna invest our valuable capital .I am agree with you that we all have different tricks to choose our altcoin to invest .I always go through with the trend which are running on the whole community .I wanna clear it to give an example in recent time the community are really go through with the metaverse and web3 project .That's how i start with the best potential project on the market .I try to invest on different project to separate my investment .I also invest on the top altcoin of the market like you ,which are more potential .I just have shared my own strategy do your own research and make yours .

We could pick whichever coin we want based on the most effective strategy that we could personally apply. As for me, I would prefer top coins that are more established where I would have an assurance that they wouldn't turn into rug pull. I don't want to risk my funds on coins that are just carried by the hype. Coins that have a strong foundation and good reputation I think would be a good choice.
1574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Three thousand Bitcoin ATM Installed In first quarter Of 2022 on: April 07, 2022, 03:30:16 PM

Once we have more and more bitcoin ATMs installed in first-world countries, there are higher probabilities that the under developed countries will follow the same practice. However, only those county can install these public ATMs where the government have no problem with these installations. If bitcoin is not legal in any country, there is no way we can see those machines in those countries. Making bitcoin legal in countries is the first major sign of bitcoin adoption.

That's a good thing if ever the first-world countries initiate first to installed ATMs of bitcoin which I believe will provide a higher possibility to boost the bitcoin adoption all over the world. Here in my country, I haven't seen any bitcoin atm machine existing so far which of course I am looking forward to seeing it here in our country available. But now, since it is not yet accepted as a legal tender hoping that bitcoin atm will be possibly be installed in our country is so far impossible.

Lucky are those countries that have Bitcoin ATMs installed and ready to use by most crypto users for they will be able to use their Bitcoins without any hassle. It will surely be another reason for more people to adapt and use Bitcoin as a currency. I hope that more countries would also experience using Bitcoin ATMs in the future because it would really cause convenience for all of us.
1575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My biggest crypto regret on: April 07, 2022, 02:45:49 PM
If I am given a chance to go back to 2020 I would hold my ETH very tight and never let go, when covid was hitting the world at its best I thought it over and I sold 24 ETH which I bought at 120$ each, I never knew I was so damn lucky to buy at that price, learn to hold tight if you believe in a project, there are countless of projects in past years that are way bigger in value right now.

There's no such thing as perfect trading or investing but keep in mind that a profit is still a profit no matter how small or big it is. In your case, you're still lucky that you gained profit because some investors have bought their coins at a higher price and sold them at a lower price. We all have that kind of regret but that's the risk of crypto investment and mostly, it needs a lot of patience.
1576  Economy / Economics / Re: Sales of wedding rings are increasing on: April 07, 2022, 02:12:03 PM
Quote
- Both supply and demand for diamond engagement rings has been on the rise during the pandemic, according to resale companies like luxury consignment site The RealReal.
- Experts say this is because the close-quarters of quarantining has prompted some married couples to call it quits, while pushing others to deepen their commitment.
- According to an analysis conducted by Legal Templates — a company that allows users to create and track legal documents — the number of couples seeking divorce between March to June increased by 34% from the same period in 2019.
- "Quarantine has meant make-or-break for many relationships," said Trish Stevens, The RealReal's director of fine watches and jewelry. "While we're seeing an influx of people purchasing engagement rings, we're also seeing more people consign them."

drastic changes (economy, health & psychology) occur in almost all countries because of this "PANDEMIC", and of course those who are unable to deal with it will think short.  for those who are married you must believe that this difficulty will end and the economy will recover, don't because of your emotions for a moment you have to divorce and forget about the people who have fought with you and you really love..

My wife and I continue to communicate and we trust each other that this will end, I hope all my friends here are not divorced from their partners during this "PANDEMIC" period. 🍻

This pandemic should actually motivate couples to be well determined in building up a good relationship foundation. I agree that this pandemic has been really challenging but also helping us realize the importance of valuing our loved ones. I got married during this pandemic and decided to have a child because I realized that life is too short to miss the chance of enjoying a life of having a wonderful family. The economic situation might challenge the strength of every family but we should know how to deal with it because the world ain't getting any better.
1577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sicodice scam on: April 07, 2022, 01:35:49 PM
I tried to check the video, it doesn't work with me too I think it was removed. I think the OP is not active anymore but as per the Sicodice team they said that the bets can be verified and they recently created their ANN thread here after years of operation.

It wasn't working for me either and I guess the video has been taken down. They should have created their ANN thread a long time ago if they have been operating for years for them to explain their side. To be honest, it's my first time hearing about this site. It would be better if they have put up a good reputation first.
1578  Economy / Gambling / Re: Video Course of BlackJack for people who want to learn BlackJack on: April 06, 2022, 04:45:25 PM

While it is a good share yet I am not interested in just watching a video instead i would rather spend my time watching blackjack games and learn from actual players in which will give me best sight andinton how to deal and how to get my chance to win.

Wouldn't hurt if you have some general knowledge about the game and what they offer and after that, you can watch the actual game from actual players I think that would be much better for you aside from going directly from players without any knowledge about BlackJack.

It would still be an advantage to watch videos directly from their site. It might only cause you confusion if you'll watch the actual game. Sometimes, the explanation is necessary for you to understand the game clearly. This will surely help beginners who are looking for resources to assist them, especially those who would want to try BlackJack. It's informative and it's actually a good initiative of them.
1579  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRIMEDICE weak self-exclusion system on: April 06, 2022, 03:26:58 PM
of course the problem is with me, that's why it's called a gambling problem, in any case, the idea is not to accuse anyone, but to see the possibility of improving the self-exclusion system
maybe you can reduce your addiction by playing casinos using not real money like a demo or game from android. I'm not so sure you can either, but no harm to trying than your money runs out. it's just a matter of fun, If you continue and keep it fun, you will get used to it after a while.
I don't think he can self-exclusion by doing these, I think if he really wants to get rid of these then he should get out of this sector, he can invest in any other sector he can invest in trading, I think at least trading risks is less than gambling .However, there is a saying that you should invest as much as you are willing to lose.

If he really wants to be excluded permanently then he shouldn't change his mind later on. He must be firm in making decisions especially if a certain site is involved. Trading will always be risky so we should always be sure of what we want. If he was well decided on self exclusion then he shouldn't left his funds on Primedice.
1580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What have been your crypto trading experience on: April 05, 2022, 08:31:32 PM
Over some time, I have tried to understand and take advantage of the many possibilities in cryptocurrency trading this emerging venture has helped many to reach their goals. What is the most valuable experience that has been a guide for your cryptocurrency trading?

I've learned that crypto trading needs patience and broad knowledge. It's too important that you know how to manage your emotions or else, it will be the one who will ruin your decisions. I've learned how to get rid of greediness and you will only learn it in time. Experience is really the best teacher and as I experienced failures in trading, I realized that it isn't a shortcut to success which was my mindset when I was just starting.
