If you want to remain anonymous NEVER PLAY AT STAKE

THEY WILL HOLD YOUR FUNDS AND SCAM YOU IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE THEM KYC WITH PASSPORT AND 50 OTHER THINGS THEY ASK. IF YOU DON'T HAVE EVEN 1 OF THEM, YOU ARE GONE!

They are a Curacao book so it's not right for them to be overly intrusive.

They have scammed me for $100k and no reply for 6 months and there is nothing I can do .. I think my money was used to satisfy big promotion people like drake, ufc, etc

Sorry to hear that. You will have to go to a site such as Ask Gamblers for help. Going the legal route won't get you anywhere other than wasting money on a lawyer. No one has ever won a court case against a book in Curacao or Costa Rica. Most of the books in Curacao and Costa Rica are honest since they don't want to hurt their reputation. All my play goes through books in CR and Curacao. Unfortunately there are dishonest ones too. There are a couple of review sites that help gamblers. That's your only discourse.

Most of the bitcoin books and casinos are located in Costa Rica or Curacao. There's really no reason for us to be required to produce KYC. Costa Rica has a data processing license and most of the casinos in Curacao use sublicenses. The governing bodies of these countries do not ask for KYC. Unless someone is trying to obtain more than one account from a sports book, then KYC shouldn't be mandatory.
We should not deceive ourselves with no KYC casinos as long as the gambling site is becoming known to people and public, such casinos would later ask their users for KYC. I am not disputing that their are gambling sites where you will not need to do any KYC, but they can ask their users for KYC at anytime irrespective of the place the gambling site have their license. I have used some gambling sites that do not request for KYC other than email and password, but I am always preparing for KYC if I have money on the casino sites.

Agree with you that many of these sites do ask for KYC and I'm against it. Many times it seems that these casinos asking for KYC are looking for a way not to pay. They have no true legal obligation to ask for KYC because no governing body is ever going to check. It's much different than a license in the UK or US. In these countries they are strict about KYC.

Criteria used to rate a book.

1. Security - getting paid is by far most important.

2. Working with the forum. This is a player's thread and books are held responsible for their actions. Questions are asked of books concerning number of employees, time in business, experience, poster problems, etc. If a book is going to ignore a player's thread, they will be severely downgraded. Most books are very easy to work with.

The following cannot be quantified as to importance since being highly detrimental in one category may supersede other criteria used.

3. Poster review - poster review is much more important at bitcointalk than other forums, but other forums are also read. A high review from a new book will weigh less than the review of a book that's been in existence 2+ years.

4. Anonymous - one of the reasons that bitcoin books are used is to stay anonymous. There may be times where it is necessary to question players but it should be a minimum.

5. Margins - If players are going to have a chance to beat a book the margins have to be tight enough to give us that chance. If the margins are larger than -110 (1.91) that's a big blow to a book's rating.

6. Payout speed - If the average is longer than one hour, a book will be downgraded. One hour is sufficient due to possible grading errors. A large book is dealing with a significant amount of money along with a huge player base.

7. Markets - The more betting options, the better.

8. Traffic  - time in business along with amount of players that a book has gives us a large sample size.

9. Currencies used - It's easier on the player if we are allowed to deposit and withdraw from alts.

Miscellaneous - Books accepting fiat currencies are omitted from the guide. Other forums are read to make sure the ratings here aren't significantly out of line with the average of other books.

1X Corp N.V. (also known as "1xBet") is an online gambling company licensed by Curaçao eGaming License. It was founded in 2007 and registered in Cyprus. In 2019, they experienced considerable growth, briefly sponsoring Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC before being ousted for their involvement in illegal activities.

Initially a Russian Casino, it expanded its online presence in 2014 by partnering with 'BookmakerPub'. It maintains operations in Malta, Cyprus and Abuja (Nigeria).

As of January 2022, 1xBet no longer appears to be located in Curaçao after filing for bankruptcy. A lawsuit against the company and its licensor remain open. The website continues to operate online.

Quote
Following an investigation by The Sunday Times in 2019, 1xBet's license was rescinded by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) after revelations of involvement "promoting a "pornhub casino", bets on children's sports and advertising on illegal websites."[1]

Despite legal issues in the United Kingdom, as of 2020, 1xBet continued to sponsor FC Barcelona, Seria A, and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), among various other sports.[2]

1xBet retains its reputation as one of the world's most controversial betting firms, featuring on Russia's payment processor and Federal Tax Service blacklist.[3][4]

The website has had its access restricted in numerous countries, including: Russia, UK, USA, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Burkina Faso, Israel, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Poland, Netherlands, Belgium.[5]

Quote
In early 2020, awareness was raised of an ongoing scam involving embezzlement and unlawful practice, highlighting attention through diplomatic channels.[6]

Later in August 2020, the Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Russian Bryansk Region released the names of the supposed creators of 1xBet. These are "Sergey Karshkov", "Roman Semiokhin" and "Dmitry Kazorin".[7]

The trio are suspected of organizing the online bookmaker 1xBet, and are defendants in a criminal case, with penalty of imprisonment. A number of estates in Russia with a total value of 1.5 billion rubles were seized.[7]

The UK has put them on the international wanted list - all three have Cypriot citizenship.[8]

In 2021, Parlan Law Firm announced a search for victims of 1Xbet in Russia. The company has organized a service for filing applications to the investigative committee. They filed a lawsuit against the owner of the Russian version of 1Xbet - bookmaker 1XStavka.[9

Quote
In November 2021 1xBet's subsidiary company, 1хCorр MV, filed for bankruptcy [10] in a Curaçao court after it refused to refund a group of gamblers represented by the foundation for curaçao gaming victims, SBGOK[permanent dead link].

The individuals state that 1xBet structurally deniеs the legitimate wins of players with millions of euros in unpaid winnings.[11]

On 10 December 2021, the SBGOK foundation appealed this decision and subsequently filed a complaint against Cyberluck, its licensor, which operates under the name 'Curaçao e-Gaming (CEG)', as well as the Gaming Control Board in Curaçao.[citation needed]

"According to SBGOK, the company is not only partly responsible for the frаud by 1xBet. The foundation claims that Cyberluck also actively cooperates in flouting the rules against money laundering by 1xBet".[11]

The Curaçao court has yet to decide on the appeal, although the issue reached Parliamentary questions in Netherlands.[12]

Your only chance to recoup money at this point is a forum such as Ask Gamblers although AG does rank them fairly high. The licenses and governing bodies won't be of any help to you and it would be water down the drain hiring a lawyer. If you do decide to try and take it further here are some contacts.

Is it inaccessible only on my end? or is it the same for others as well
It was the same for me. They did have a message saying that they would be down for maintenance prior to going down.

630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 27, 2022, 11:08:12 PM
The only reason they ask for KYC is a reason to confiscate your money when you go to withdraw.
Fortunejack is refusing to pay a reputable member a measly 10 mbtc.
Do you think FJ cares about 10 mbtc?
Of course not; they are only asking for KYC for regulatory purposes/abide by whatever laws they agreed to.
Kind of scary that someone with zero knowledge of how this works is claiming to know the #1 RATINGS of BITCOIN SPORTSBOOKS...

FJ lets minors and those in restricted countries play there as long as they lose. Their license doesn't mean a thing unless you win. Curacao is much different than a license in the UK or US. Most of the casinos at BCT are in Curacao or Costa Rica.

In Curacao there are 4 master licenses and the rest are sub-licenses. FJ has a sub-license. You can get a sub-license in less than 2 weeks.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 27, 2022, 04:45:43 PM
Most crypto casinos don't ask for KYC when you deposit so you can throw the license excuse out the window. The only reason they ask for KYC is a reason to confiscate your money when you go to withdraw.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 27, 2022, 06:20:21 AM

And will this trigger crypto-based casinos that use wallet logins to develop better because they don't need to register as usual and only need to connect their wallets to the casino? Or do they also need to do KYC? Or for this type of casino can still be "forced" to do KYC?

You cannot stop or decline to do a KYC as long as you see a license certificate on the site, license certificate is being issued with all the attachments of compliance on it they are not just certificates or numbers, you cannot run an online business that can generate hundreds of thousands or millions without getting into the radar of the authorities, there's legality that these casinos are adhering, there are casinos that took the risk to not ask KYC, but they are always in the risk of getting shut down and you would not want to play on this kind of casinos if high rollers can do KYC what is it that you cannot when KYC is there to prove individuals are not into illegal activity.

Some casinos in Costa Rica and Curacao don't do KYC at all. Some only require a small portion of players to comply to KYC.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 26, 2022, 10:56:43 PM
I believe in privacy coins and I believe in many casinos that don't require KYC.

I have some concerns about Stake.

For quite some time I found Stake to be by far the best site for sports bet (good promotions, great rewards, good odds etc ...), but recently I found out that I was really limited in my bet amounts. Even on big events just like premier league games, my stakes was rejected (always too high) even under 0.5 mBtc ...
The support told me that the odd's provider  set the limits for each event and each user and my situtation will be reviewed maybe later but I doubt it.

It was the same for Sportsbet.io, but even worse, my odds was lowered, and I was banned from any promotion.

To compare, for me the same thing never happened on Cloudbet.

Rickmart - thanks for making us aware of your situation. I can understand cutting limits on small markets but not the Premier League. Hopefully you'll get those bumped back up again.

These two sportsbooks focus on the esports markets which is similar to betonbit but i'm not sure if they have the same providers though.
