Hi, does anyone know anything about the reliability of letou.com? Yes-there is a fiat there, but still thought I'd ask in case anyone knows or has heard anything....
I don't play there, maybe someone else does. A search tells me that it's a book that people should stay away from.

I advise all players to stop playing on Coins.game until this matter gets resolved. If they do it to me (I even was a VIP, can you imagine!) they can do this to everyone.

Coins.game need to realize that it's much more profitable for them in the long run to have a good reputation and treat customers fairly, and therefore a fast growing customer base, than to make some quick money in the short run by stealing from their players and therefore not being able to grow in the future.

I posted in another thread that this is an awful time to have money in a questionable book. After the Super Bowl and World Cup are the two most popular times for a book to go under and take our money with them.

It is very hard to get an unbiased opinion on anything, honestly. Anyways, looking at the voting, it seems like people don't really want reviews. Just the list seems fine. So, I'm not gonna bother researching through every sportsbook on the list as of now. Would love it if more people voted in though. Let's see.

You definitely need thick skin at first to do ratings and reviews. As you said if they get paid by another site, they are going to criticize your ratings. Some may even stalk you. With the ratings I do in 10 years there hasn't been 1 "A" or "B" rated book that's gone under with our money. Some still criticize and stalk but after a while you figure out why they are doing it and it really doesn't bother you. There have been 50, almost all "D" and "F" , a couple "C" such as Betnomi, that are out of business and most with our money. One is still open right now Coins.game that's "F". Your thread is great with or without reviews.

Today coins.game decided to confiscate all my fair winnings. I am shocked and disgusted:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5482075.msg63520302#msg63520302

@Coins.game, I saw the complaint by GekkeBelg and hope that you can reply in scam accusations. I've been running a rating's guide here since 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717790.0 and it would greatly help me with ratings. Thank You
166  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coins.game CONFISCATING all my winnings (268mbtc) on: January 19, 2024, 03:07:55 AM
Coins.game, I see that you are one of the newer casinos here at bitcointalk so welcome here. I've been running a rating's guide here at BCT since 2014. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717790.0 I've been in contact with GekkeBelg. He's one of the respected posters here. For myself and rating's purposes, I'm hoping that you can clarify what exactly caused the confiscation of GekkeBelg's money. I see that you have quoted some rules but I'm not sure what rules are broken. I don't want to be unfair. Thank You

@holydarkness I'm not trying to step on your toes. Just want to get my own question out of the way for ratings since they are new and don't have much to go by. As said above, I don't want to be unfair to Coins.game so a reply by them is important.
167  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportbet.one uses bogus excuse to confiscate $13,705 from me on: January 18, 2024, 10:46:17 PM
The variance of the OP's wagers show that he didn't have an advantage. If another person (partner) jumped in the table making substantially higher bets than the OP when the count was in their favor, then their could be collusion. But the total amount wagered adding together the OP and partner(s) would have to be much greater than what they OP was making before the count being in their favor.

Is it realistic that I signed up to play for 45 minutes and colluded with a partner? I think you could see in the hand history that the majority of the time I played completely alone, 2 hands at a time (Seats 6 and 7). Then other players came and went.  I'll leave it to someone else to go through the trouble to see if when other people were at the table how my stake size changed but there should be no correlation to that. Also this isnt a brick and mortar joint where you need to operate in teams, anyone could just lurk online and jump in when they want. The only systematic pattern I did was bet slightly more after a run of losses and slightly less after a run of wins.

All someone needs to know is the size of the bets. If you are betting $2 a hand and then 3 people jump in all making max bets start playing and immediately quit after a shuffle, then there may be counting and team play.

Ok, well my hand history is all there for anyone to evaluate if someone wants to check whether people coming and leaving the table was correlated to my bet sizes. I'll save you the trouble though, thats not what happened!!!

I was agreeing with you. I was just giving examples of how team play works.

OP I hope this issue will be resolved quickly.

There is one member who is obsessed with Sportsbet and he is spending all his wake time to write against them.
Anyone who mentions a single word about Sportsbet you will be sure to have this leach to add his own opinion and complain.
He is going to support every new member who say anything against this casino and all his recent posts are anti Sportsbet Tongue
Shit rating list retired, now he has a new job  Grin
Besides stalking and following me around like my shadow, you've been posting, at least inferring and agreeing, that Sportsbet is paying a jackpot of $42m USDT in installment payments. Global Games paid the jackpot.  https://www.btcgosu.com/blog/news/record-breaking-wowpot-jackpot-e38-46-million-payout/

Sportsbet, you and others backing Sportsbet on the claim have no credibility. Run along and stalk someone else. I need a restraining order against you.

Hi Guys,

..........

1 main point, the customer asked to NOT have the amount paid in one go..

reason: people will try to track down the transaction and eventually try to get to his wallet/chase him up. (exactly what PP went and did, so customer was right)

So out of respect to the customers wishes, we paid him out in many differing amounts so people could NOT follow the transactions.

regards,

Steve.

Casino games provider Games Global has paid out a record €38.5 million prize through its WowPot! progressive jackpot.

Global Games paid in one lump sum instead of Sportsbet in installments in USDT. Sportsbet is also sending out press releases making it look as though Sportsbet is paying out $42m USDT. It's a WowPot with many casinos involved. Global Games seeds the progressive jackpot with 2 million Euros.

Today I got scammed for 268mbtc by Coins.game
If this does not get solved they should be forever listed in the scam category if you ask me

This is a new casino and you are a respected poster so I've immediately put them in the scam (F) category. Contact AskGamblers and ThePogg to file complaints. Those two have the most success.

This is happening all too often. I'll paraphrase the book's rule. If you have more than one account, we can steal all your money. We determine if you have more than one account and we don't have to show proof to anyone.

Rollbit, Sportsbet and Stake are the biggest abusers of that rule. We have to put pressure on all books to pay back in full, winnings and deposits, if they don't want our business.

My case has nothing to do with multiple accounts. They are just not happy with a winning customer, threw a bunch of vague accusations and rules into a chat and hoped I would buy it and be statisfied with just getting my deposit back (minus 1mbtc by the way cause that is their rediculously high flat withdrawal fee)

I looked again and have no idea what you are being accused of doing wrong. You can shoot me a PM with your account number stating that I have permission to look into your account and I'll contact them. Still file with someone else that can help.

These claims are at direct odds with what is happening to me right now. You require customers to relinquish custody of their funds and decided to unilaterally  seize and confiscated them. There's nothing decentralized about that!

Bottom line is Sportbet.one how can anyone trust you?

[...]
Explain why you claim that customers funds are in their control yet you have the ability to seize and confiscate them.

If I may help answering this issue as I think I am quite familiar with this one, as I had a discussion about this topic once, they're referring about the web3 sign-in/sign-up [see image below], where you use your eos wallet as your ID and connect that wallet to their platform, thus accessing the fund directly from your wallet and they're not in custody of any fund.

They also offers "traditional" registration with email, of which you can deposit the fund to your account. Since your fund are in their custody, and for the lack of knowledge of this web-3 alternative registration, I assume you're having a traditional account one.

[...]
2. You violated all the rules from "GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS" section 2 (highlighted in bold):

"The betting company reserves the right to revoke the concluded betting agreement (including the bets placed before and after the beginning of the event), refuse to fulfill its obligations under this agreement (including paying out the winnings), or refuse to return any placed bets, if:
- bets are made by a group of clients acting in a coalition to bypass the restrictions established by the betting company;
- the client is suspected of using any software that automates the process of setting bets;
- the client uses the game account to play in arbitration situations;
- the client abuses the loyalty programs."

[...]

Can you tell us what make you so sure and/or the proof that you have that OP coalited with someone or use software to gain advantages as you suspected him?
The variance of the OP's wagers show that he didn't have an advantage. If another person (partner) jumped in the table making substantially higher bets than the OP when the count was in their favor, then their could be collusion. But the total amount wagered adding together the OP and partner(s) would have to be much greater than what they OP was making before the count being in their favor.

What you say is true but would like to add to it. Steve has made friends with a lot of posters and these posters won't call Steve out when he's untruthful. It's fine to be friendly with the books but not to the detriment of players.

But the reason I came in here is that I noticed the case was mark resolved. Was the player paid in full? Paid both winnings and deposit? If Sportsbet doesn't pay but comes to a final decision, is that considered resolved? Just started posting in this section the last couple of weeks so I'm trying to figure things out.

It can be inferred from below passage,

[...]
I know for a fact, due to my asking, the issue has been reopened and they are in the process of putting this case to work.

thanks and regards,

Steve.
Sportsbet.io.

it indicated that the case was given another try. As OP was still online for about twenty days after the comment above, and didn't raise another complaint or comment on his thread [he will very likely does so, if he didn't get in touch with SB's support team], the most likely scenario is that they got to the bottom of this and came out with a solution off the forum.
thank you
174  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportbet.one uses bogus excuse to confiscate $13,705 from me on: January 18, 2024, 10:33:43 AM
Dear Cliff,

General Rules https://sportbet.one/rules apply to both sportsbook and casino. Every player should respect and follow them but you broke several:

1. You violated  Section 1 of "GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS" (multi-accounting) by creating at least 2 accounts within sportbet.one platform.

- bets are made by a group of clients acting in a coalition to bypass the restrictions established by the betting company;
- the client is suspected of using any software that automates the process of setting bets;
- the client uses the game account to play in arbitration situations;
- the client abuses the loyalty programs."

As a result of the above the company has deducted all the winnings on both accounts leaving initial deposits available for withdrawal. The decision is final.

Please note, that further abuse attempts will lead to the complete confiscation of all funds from your balance and the closure of your accounts.

Regards,
Karin
His play shows it impossible to have an advantage. What follows doesn’t matter bc his play shows no advantage but I’m curious to your conclusion.

Can you tell us how many decks are used for blackjack and how often you reshuffle? No electronic means is needed to count and I can’t see any online casino allowing an advantage in blackjack in 2024.

175  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportbet.one uses bogus excuse to confiscate $13,705 from me on: January 18, 2024, 06:28:01 AM
This one is pretty obvious that the player isn't at fault. There is no way in the world that a casino is going to allow player advantage in blackjack in today's games with a live dealer. It's prevented by early shuffling and multi-decks. Many people can count cards in their head, electronics isn't needed.

How many decks are used? How often is it shuffled? Can we see the game play and do a count ourselves to see if any type of advantage play was obtained. It's really impossible since bets didn't go from $2 to $1000. The variance in your bets isn't large enough to obtain any type of advantage.

When people count cards they want to make the bets as small as possible until the count is in their favor and then they want them as big as possible. That's why it's normally done in teams. One person sits at the table betting the minimum amount. When the count is right, a partner jumps in the table betting maximum amounts. Teams are even better since multiple people can jump in when the count is in their favor.

176  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io took my money on: January 17, 2024, 10:28:13 PM
what can you expect from such well known scammers like sportsbet.io ?

They are also known as sweet and innocent sportsbet.io by the most of the users that are on their payroll here Smiley

Yea. Same exact amount. Just replaced the fee. I explained everything to them and was truthful throughout the proccess. I even went through the KYC proccess and passed that. They first accused me of multiaccounting. They accused me of 5 accounts, 4 of which I knew absolutly nothing about. The fifth one is my brothers account. Who is the person that told me to  switch sportsbooks. After that accusation was done they accused me of doublespending. I was 100 percent truthful throughout the KYC proccess.

This happens with us all, everybody has multiple accounts when sportsbet.io doesn't want to pay.

What you say is true but would like to add to it. Steve has made friends with a lot of posters and these posters won't call Steve out when he's untruthful. It's fine to be friendly with the books but not to the detriment of players.

See here, I would like to nominate BlueChip for the scam category of your list. Absolutely terrible sportsbook.

Thanks for bringing this here GekkeBelg, they've been added. Sorry to see this. They are at the bottom of the list since they are NR but I think I'll rearrange the list later in alphabetical order instead of rating to make it easier to look up for posters.

Criteria used to rate a book.

1. Security - getting paid is by far most important.

2. Working with the forum.

I'm no longer going to trust a Sportsbook's word for scam accusations. I've sent out a PM to all the books in the first spreadsheet. A sportsbook must agree to binding arbitration at a governing body such as AskGamblers or allow me to see details of disputes in order to have an "A" rating. Binding arbitration is best with a site such as AskGambers or ThePogg. I don't want to do it since it's a no win situation for me. If not, the highest rating that they can obtain will be a "B". Safety and security is the most important thing and we must be assured that our funds are not being confiscated without proof of wrongdoing. In some jurisdictions a license will be fine but not in Curacao. Curacao is not going to rule in the player's favor.

Books are taking too long to approve KYC documentation after all has been provided. Some are taking up to 3 months. With that in mind, on January 24th, I'll post what books have decided on binding arbitration and adjustments will be made. Books with licenses in such places as the UK and US are held to high standards. The standard of crypto books needs to be increased. Not having a license in the UK or US doesn't mean a book can steal according to a ToS rule that would be thrown out in a court of law.

Thank you, this is a very helpful list.

2 weeks ago, Peeps Place made this Complete list of Crypto Casino and Sportsbook Scam Accusations which is helpful too but honestly, your list is more helpful with more information and better format.

Both threads are helpful and hope you two will continue to update your lists.

Welcome to Casino Review, Odds comparison, Provably Fair Verifiers, Bots

I locked my thread. holydarkness is doing a much better job and I did ask him to take over.

The new thread, List Scam Accusation Cases Against Casino Platform on The Forum, is on. I publish it on reputation board because I think it fits there better, being a topic for casinos' "reputation" rather than an accusation against them.

I previously left out betby as they'ra a provider and, being an only case, they fit nowhere on the table. But with above post about Spribe, I'll now make a section about provider, moving this case of Orbital into it and change the status accordingly.

You can lock this thread if you want to.

Will do. Thanks for taking over since you're doing a much better job than I did.
