[...] For Sportsbet, when someone wins a $42m jackpost, the casino will use this for publicity and pass it around to media outlets. Since there is no publicity on this, it most likely isn't true. It's only at BCT and their Twitter feed. I'd assume that Sportsbet doesn't want anyone looking into it which is why they aren't spreading this to the media. [...]
It's also uploaded in their instagram and facebook [might need to log in to watch], I don't think they have a dedicated account for their platform on tiktok and youtube [the youtube is for... live league], so I think it's covered in most of the social media that they own. You won't see fake jackpot claims out of BetFair, Will Hill, Paddy Power, Bet365, etc. But if someone does hit for $42m, they will be using that as a promo and it'll be out there outside of their own social media. The fake jack pots and contests are common with books in Costa Rica and Curacao. A lot of sportsbooks such as Sportsbet run a shell corporation in Curacao with the office location elsewhere although there are some with huge offices in Costa Rica. This doesn't mean that Sportsbet is cheating players, but the $42m jackpot is tough to buy. Ahh... now I see your point. You're arguing that if someone win USD 42M, the news will be all over the net, with "reaction video" in youtube, instagram feeds with lots of unnecessary emoji, etc. because the platform [on this case, sportsbet] will most likely use that as publication and this one is relatively silent? But wouldn't that argument also open to a possibility that they didn't hire these influencers for publication [and those influencers will not post if they're not incentivized] and thus their market growth is organic? Correct. You don't even need influencers. Many newspapers would love an article like this. Sportsbet is smart enough to get in touch with them if it were real. This is great advertising and it's cheap. For Sportsbet's sake, hopefully someone buys in to the story and it gets spread. I don't think many credible sources would publish this.
More people are famous and rich there is bigger chance they are cheating. Simple math.
It's the same with casinos. The bigger the casino, the bigger the chance they are cheating. It's easy to get away with in Curacao and Costa Rica. No one is going to check on rigged contests, etc.

Hi, I'm composing the draft for the new thread right now. Given the huge amount of list and that I have to open each of the threads [and at least glance over them], and that I am doing it on my free time, it might take few days to be completed.
Even weeks wouldn't be surprising. I'll just keep posting updates in the mean time until you clean everything up. Sometime when things are bumped it gets lost in the shuffle.

Firstly - a scam in live camera in front of everyone! https://x.com/DramaAlert/status/1744103940608720947?s=20The dealer cheated here, and Eddie replies on Twitter saying "Card dealers make mistakes". WTF?! Secondly, Read what one of their users had to say: https://stakecommunity.com/topic/84740-stake-in-2024-are-you-in-or-out/?do=findComment&comment=1880224Drake giveaways were fake - facetime to iphone only users, mostly winners from Canada as always, rehearsed speaches and fake money spinning
Twitter giveaways fake - Stake has been caught giving out dozens of prizes to chinese twitter accounts created on the day of giveaway
Discord bonus buys fake - 90% of the time mods, kick streamers or friends of Steve and that other guy get picked, regular players sit at discord for hours like dummies
Bonus drops fake - i’ve noticed personally how $50,000 bonus drops were suddenly being “fully claimed” after 4-5 seconds, which would mean 10,000 players claimed it in less then a second, giving Stake team the time to edit post to fully claimed
Soo many other things that are sooo off. So my question is - if they feel comfortable doing these fake things so casually with $5 bonus drops and a few discord bonus buys, how far are they prepared to go to fill their pockets? Is there a way to verify or "provably fair" the giveaways are genuine & honest? Also when you see with their competitor a thread like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5480517.0How can you verify that "winner" is not a shill account. an account created by the site itself? Where is the line of trust here? Logan Paul cheated and scammed tons of people despite being famous and rich from Prime, how can you believe these guys are not doing the same thing?! Can these things be provably fair or not?! I'm not sure what to make of the Stake accusation. If the dealer intentionally cheated, then he has to have incentive. Did he receive a % of table loss instead of flat salary? For Sportsbet, when someone wins a $42m jackpost, the casino will use this for publicity and pass it around to media outlets. Since there is no publicity on this, it most likely isn't true. It's only at BCT and their Twitter feed. I'd assume that Sportsbet doesn't want anyone looking into it which is why they aren't spreading this to the media. There are a lot of casinos that do this sort of thing with fake raflles and contests that aren't transparent. I never get into contests that aren't transparent. BetOnLine is very big but they've been accused of crooked stuff too https://youtu.be/7PGasgpAJ1o?si=3UoTG9MYPm8ZR5qe which is part of the reason why I believe it can happen to all.

That's great stuff. I think you should take the project over. It may be best to start a new thread.
[...] You are pretty much active in the scam accusation section. Maybe you should try to finalize this topic with a better table format.
LMAO, let me sleep over it for a few days? That post I made above took about four hours to edit the link and get a quick refresher course. I probably will, given I've planned about it before, but let me mull over it for a while, given I probably have to re-sweep several pages of the accusation boards to check if the list provided here covers everything [if my memory serves me right, I think some cases are not mentioned here] I can't imagine how many hours will be spent on it.
Would you be so kind and tell me what I did wrong?
Seems like it is getting narrowed when the long texts are in the first column. I just put another column before it to find the solution, I also put the 'vertical line' (|) symbol between other column to give it a better look. Although I am still torn whether we should mark the ones I color-coded in orange as strikedthrough [thus, considered solved] or not.
Maybe the status of the accusations with different colour is enough to know the situation. The strikethrough will give the table a messy look. Ahh... thank you. I'll most likely use this format fixed by you if I take over the list from OP. And yes, the strikethrough will be completely abandoned when the list are displayed on table. To help out some, if an accusation was made in 2022 and is still ongoing, then it was omitted. Original accusation date of Jan 1, 2023 or after are included. Only accusations in this sub-forum are included. If made in an ANN thread and not included in the Scam Accusation forum, then it’s not included.

Testing the format [...] Would you be so kind and tell me what I did wrong? How about putting different reasons in the status part? The user '-god-' has come with an invalid complaint where he is guilty for the inconvenience. The accusations can be marked as "resolved, invalid, neutral, unresolved" based on the evidences, response from the casino, activity of the OP, etc.
This is a good idea. I can agree that, at times, cases are not black and white, it's not as simple as active and resolved. Just so it happens, I tried the same approach as you proposed when I started my summary above, with "inactive" and "not applicable" marked in orange. I think your proposed "neutral" is the equivalent of my "open" [marked in blue]. Although I am still torn whether we should mark the ones I color-coded in orange as strikedthrough [thus, considered solved] or not.
1The OP shared majority of the blame because he deliberately waited 1 year to do AML level KYC. Part of 2nd layer of AML by casino is to return the verified fund to the originating address [in OP's case, FTX's address]. Razer offered to "compensate" the lost fund by hiring the OP of that thread in their campaign once he can wear signature. 2 The accuser was the same as the one raising a thread on case number #2, given he returned to SB 7 months later [4th May and then 5th November] I think it's safe to say his earlier case [the one on 4th May] got resolved or having similar outcome, which encourage him to stay with SB That's great stuff. I think you should take the project over. It may be best to start a new thread.

I can see that there are people here who are much more qualified than I am to run this type of thread. Would someone want to use the data that I posted and run their own thread? Then I'll lock this one up.
I spend my most of my time at BCT studying the sportsboooks and feel much more confident that I can do a productive job for the community in that arena.

I agree that it should fit better in reputation board. I nearly made one myself back when BC had a piling case against them [now resolved]
You did a good job for BC guys. I will like to see someone is following the above cases against Rollbit and keeping the table updated. Excellent work Peeps Place. We definitely need to watch Rollbit. There are too many cases building up against them. @Pmalek @sujonali1819 @holydarkness thanks for the input. I'll put the table up next week to see what you guys think.

Interesting idea. I had such a thread in mind myself to go along with my other collection threads, but you beat me to it this time.
I think you should have reserved at least one more post under the OP, so you can update it with more information if everything won't fit in one post. Although it's gambling related, I can't help to wonder if this topic wouldn't be a better fit in the Reputation board.
Mods ended up moving it to Scam Accusations I commend the effort. I'm quite surprise that I'm playing on a casino that has a standing scam accusation. Though I haven't experienced any issues with them. There are also reputable casino (I believe) that also has a standing scam accusation here, I didn't see that coming. 1xbit accusation count are pretty low but I'm sure that there are so many out there, most of it are on their ANN thread. Though there is some accusation that are falsely claimed or invalid on the eyes of viewers like this one. The accuser is the one who is at fault because the accuser is hacked because of a phishing link.
Edit: it's 1xbit. Definitely seems the accuser is at fault on a lot of these. I don't want to make the call on if it's reolved but if 3 or 4 people go in there and say they accuser is at fault without anyone supporting the accuser, then I think it should be marked resolved. 1xbet accusation count are pretty low but I'm sure that there are so many out there, most of it are on their ANN thread.
First, I believe you meant 1xbit and not 1xbet, for 1xbet does not have any official Announcement thread on this forum, and neither do they have any official representative here, this actually does not mean that gamblers can not start accusations against them on this forum, but there is possibly no way we would know if and when the accusation is resolved. And coming back to the casino I believe you meant which is 1xbit, do take note of the date, that the accusation posted by op is from January 1st, 2023 to yesterday being the 5th of January 2024, 1xbit stopped being active on this forum for more than half of 2023 if am not mistaken, and since they were no longer actively advertising on this forum, accusation against them stopped coming in, which is the reason for the seemingly low number of scam accusations against them on this thread. I believe that if op was to go back in time like from 2021 and 2022 when they were still actively advertising here, there would a lot. That is one nice thing about this forum. The warnings have kept others from losing money. Great work as usual op! Your sportsbook review thread helped me quite a bit in the past and I am expecting this particular thread to help me now and then in the future which is why I appreciate your work.
Also, I advise renaming the title to 'Complete list of Crypto gambling site Scam Accusations' or 'Complete list of Crypto Casino and Sportsbook Scam Accusations'.
Done. I read your posts on sportsbetting and books. You know what's going in with the books. @sujonali1819 how did you create the table. The last one I did took me all day so there must be an easier way.

This a is a really good resource, and thanks to the op for coming up with such a brilliant idea, having all the scam accusations against casinos on this forum in one special thread is very helpful, atleast from here, we can easily keep track of special accusation to know if and when they are resolved.
I just hope that you will be most very active both on the gambling/gambling discussions board, as well as the scam and accusation and reputation board - this are places where some users, especially newbies who aren't very conversant with the forum yet, posts scam accusations. So, hope you will be active enough to always keep the thread updated at all times.
I'll do my best Fivestar4everMVP. With all the input and suggestions so far it keeps me going since it's shaping up as a community project. It's no longer something that I just created. What a big list that means a lot of hard work just to collect this info on scam accusation thread. I really like how it’s sort alphabetically to easily find the casino.
I think it will be better if you will add separator line on each category to easily distinguish the info per casino. Also you can make the URL shorter by embedding the Link to a shorter text to make it not overwhelming on your table. Lastly, add the status of the case. Anyway nice compilation.
Sounds good, I'll try to get to the format sujonali1819 suggested. Well done. You did hard work and I assume you needed a few days to make this topic ready. Thanks for your efforts. I have two suggestions to make this topic much more effective. 1. Let's change the thread design like this-> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5381143.0, hopefully, this will make a better visualization. 2. I agree with Yahoo, let's do more investigation and read every scam accusation and mark also which one is legit or false. Will do but it may take me a week since that's not my specialty but it will be done.

You must have done a whole lot of research to compile this list to this point and I believe you are still doing more to update it because I believe this is just the ones you could easily access but however, I commend your efforts as it would guide both old and new members to check out for credible and reliable casinos to get involved with so as not to have any unforseen issues in the nearest future.
I wish you could also include a link to their review so that people or members here could know what other gamblers are talking about them. Seeing and hearing from other people's experiences about the casinos as listed could also validate the results of scam accusations here as well. You have done a good work by putting this up here.
there is a link after the complaint. Did you want me to add something else such as ANN thread? The good thing about this list is we see that most sites are interested in solving accusations against them, gives me a better feeling that a casino is legit when they want to make sure they keep a good reputation. Not all accusations are going to be marked as resolved either, as not all accusations are legit. If a casino provides sufficient evidence that an accusation is false, you should consider some sort of closing for that accusation. Something like proven false or scammer or resolved guy was a scammer.
I totally agree that there can be false complaints. I don't want to be the one that decides if it's a false claim but if a book offers binding arbitrage to a site that does it, then I'll mark as resolved. There are a few casino's on that list that are trying to solve those accusations. This list is indeed a great effort by the OP, it would have taken a lot of time to compile the list of accusations. Not an easy tak and thanks OP for coming up with this topic, it will help the gamblers from the forum who are using those casinos to identify an issue. If in case they come with a problem similar to the ones listed they know how to find the solution.
It is great the casinos that work with players. We can also put pressure on casinos to try and resolve complaints. Great idea and I'll add after the formal accusations. If posters bring something not in subforum, then I'll add that. The one you posted is added at the bottom.

It's a lot of work, but I appreciate your efforts in maintaining and updating the list. For others, remember that an accusation is not a proof of guilt. Be alert and careful when dealing with such cases. There are some dishonest casinos and sportsbooks out there, but there are also some customers who try to cheat and complain when they get caught. They try to damage the reputation of the casino or sportsbook unfairly.
Also, I see a few names here and there just randomly thrown in without any accusations. What's up with that? Why keep them on when there are 0 accusations? Is it because they have been getting frequent accusations in the past?
I brought the names over from my other thread but it does save space to delete. Later on I'll collect all with ANN threads and just post on the bottom those without accusations. Nice work with your sportsbook thread. Some great information. Nice job here mate , that is a long list and needs a lot of updating so Hopefully that you can manage to maintain this though it will took a long time from here because there will surely another one to come in the near time and another one will go . because scam is scam and they will continue to exist .
Definitely hope I'm not adding too many. The scams are awful for the community. Thanks for compiling this detailed list; and for your effort in gathering and organizing this information. This will help users especially the gamblers to stay informed. I hope the affected parties can find resolutions to their problems. Transparency in the online gambling industry is crucial, and your initiative contributes to fostering that transparency. Best of luck with your efforts to keep the community informed and safe!
Thanks for the kind words. Transparency is definitely important.

I thought it may be a good idea to have a thread sorted just for casino and sportsbook accusations. I'm sure there are mistakes so could definitely use help if you see something. I'll try to clean things up in table format as time permits. There's no judgement on if the accusation is true or false. That's up to the posters. When something goes up in the main accusation thread it'll be brought here too. Hi Peeps,
Besides being 100% incorrect.. this thread wasn't the place for it.
Pls leave scam-busting to the professionals and don't talk rubbish about books you know nothing about.
This blatant scam by the customer was never going to Arbitration... and if it was, you would NEVER be involved or consulted..
I haven't checked your ridiculously biased opinions on that biased sportsbook thread for years, but I'm guessing Nitrogen is still A or A + ( someone please confirm for me )
That in itself would say it all.
Don't throw us under the bus again for your ridiculous agenda, please..
regards
Steve. Sportsbet.io
p.s. Its not our thread, so it's my last post on the matter out our respect to the thread owner.
I don’t want to be involved in any of your problems or deal with arbitration. It’s lose/lose situation. You could have gone to Ask Gamblers or Casino Guru. You took a guy's deposits and refused to show proof to anyone. No one agrees with you in the scam accusation thread. It's not the first time. I just gather the news with links without personal attacks. I don’t even bring over the Trust Pilot reviews since I can’t verify. They have all kinds of complaints this year that you confiscated money accusing people of multi-accounting. 74% of the people rate you 1 out of 5.

Other books are stealing winnings and deposits for jurisdiction or multi-accounting. Just because the rules say they can steal doesn't make it right to steal. Playing from restricted and banned restrictions is sadly a reality. Some players try it on purpose, others make mistakes and do it not knowing they aren't supposed to play from the geographical region they are in. Multi-accounting is also a thing, mainly because some players attempt to abuse bonuses, wanting to get their hands on some free money. It's wrong in both cases. [quote snip The casino "claims" jurisdiction, bonus abuse, or limit circumvention". When you read the accusations, there is no reason for the player to do so and the casino has no proof. It's the go to excuse to steal. For some reason it keeps happening to the same books but never happens to others. Would it be possible to add a column for "Alts free"?
