@leonArdo@margin Few questions.

* Does the Ultra package include future markets? Or would I have to purchase them individually.

* I've found a (critical for me) bug. While reviewing last messages, I selected two of them and attempted to clear them through the [X] button. LearonArdo crashed, which is not a major issue by itself, I can simply restart it, but once done, all my mArgIn bots where completelly lost, why so?

* Any plans for a client API?  So that I could query my bot from far away. Or even maybe exposing a scripting lenguage like JavaScript (take a look at Duktape), Python or even Lua? I'd love to see that on the bot and would give it much more value. If you expose the necessari "API calls" and build in the interpreter, I offer myself to create the framework, deal?

Hi

Thanks for getting in touch.

The Ultra package includes up to 7 markets of your choice. You don't need to choose them all straight away so it's no problem to add some later.

Concerning the bug, I just tried it and it worked fine. Which system are you on? You meant the notifications, right?

We want to create an API for leonArdo and will do so in the future!

Best wishes,
Jonathan

any chance to add Binance?

It is high on our list, but we will release HitBTC first Smiley

Hi there! I am considering buying the bot but I have one crucial question.

Could I run the bot in more than one PC? If so, could I run it simultaneously on both?
Otherwise, is there an API I can connect to remotely see the the bot status and start/stop it? (Granted the bot is running behind a static ip with API port open)

EDIT: One more question, paying for Ultra grants free access to all new markets? Or would I have to pay them individually once they are out?

Thank you

Yes, the ultra purchase gives you access to all actual aviable exchanges. Dunno if new added exchanges are included on that. Wink

You can run leonardo as often as you like, from as many computers and users as you want. As long as you only use one api key per exchange overall.

I wanna say, i have 3 licenses, for bitfinex, bittrex and poloniex, and i can start any leonardo on any machine as often as i like, as long as there is actually only one specific variant running for any specific exchange.

So no .. sadly no server/client behaviour (which i would really like anyways!;)).

But you can use vnc or other tools to have it run in the background and connect only when you want.... even on remote (virtual) boxes...

Greetins,

hacky

Hi and thanks for jumping in Smiley
The reason that you can't run leonardo on two machines on the same exchange is the way the exchanges handle the keys.
There is a good chance that running it on two machines at the same time renders the key non-functional.

All the best,

  Rene

Hey all

Wondering if there is an option to buy an ultra upgrade?

Need to move away from Bittrex as Margin Maker keeps placing more than one buy order per bot due to latency (I presume)
The procedure I followed was to buy another single and tell them which exchange(s) to add. Best to contact support first to make sure what I am saying is valid.

Hi,

just contact support@marginsoftware.de and then we can just proceed as described.

Bittrex has me throwing up my hands again today. So if you are running a boat load of pairs, might be best to leave the stopped ones stopped. I crashed yesterday after being up 11 days and 14 hours. The exchange just got too far behind (my greed).  Undecided

@ThomAB, turn off the "Go for it!" option to help somewhat. Saw your post while I was adding mine.

Y, Bittrex is getting like Poloniex in June..  Sad

Hi,

sorry but there is not much we can do about the way the exchanges act under heavy load.
We are monitoring the situation as well. We have to rely on their API and already do as much as possible to handle that the APIs somtimes act in a strange way.

yeah but im not liking it at all tbh. I have set different things and still no complete trades seems to happen.... not working like a thought.
Im very disappointed,Do you have a reinbursment option?

Hi,

sorry to hear that you are not happy with it so far.
But the experience is just as good as the exchanges work at a given time.
Yesterday many exchanges were having difficulties.

What kind of problems are you having? You can also always contact support@marginsoftware.de.
If you are really not happy we can of course reimburse you. But most of our customers are really happy with it, you might just give it another try Smiley

All the best,

  Rene

Well first of all the software just crashes randomly. I have bitdefender but i do not want in any way delete it for running a bot.The software also keep slowing down and lagging when cancelling/creating new orders in a way you CANT use it at all.
furthermore let me make clear im far to be expert at all, but i tryed different configurations and altcoins: i tryed btc/vtc, neo/btc, btc/dash, btc/monero with no results. All the times i ran them the software either crashed or did not made any adaptation to the market. I mean, whats the point in cancelling a buy order if it set itself right away at the same rate?
I watched the tutorials on youtube but they are give little informations Imho.
Im not mad or anything, im just sad because i was so hyped for this software that i find just incredible i can't even complete ONE order of buy/sell margin.
i just don't understand how all the people can say they made 10x in 1 week...i mean the software literaly crashes, slow down and do not complete any trades using any pair i tryed...

im really open to try again with some advice, but right now im just not happy at all with the product.

Hi

First off, have you sent us a mail to support@marginsoftware.de yet? I can't match your bitcointalk name with your mail so I don't know who you are.

Secondly, we have given instructions on how to correctly exclude leonArdo from bitdefender to ensure it doesn't crash. Have you done this?

Thirdly, you are wondering how people are making money because for you it crashes. Don't you think that that could be something to do with your setup? We have thousands of customers who do not experience what you are experiencing.

Please get in touch and we will look into your situation.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

i just sent the email to the support. Its titled software issue.
As for the instructions for bitdefender i did not know there was something to run correctly leonardo, can you post the info here?

also about the thousands of customers who do not experience this, i never said they are not, im just reporting my experience with. It pretty much can be a problem of setup but the problem is the guide you offer on the site is not enough for an average user.

Im willing to try some setup parameters if you want to tell me tho.

Hi,

thanks for contacting us via support. We will sort out the issues and get you up an running asap Smiley

I've been trying out the demo of leonArdo for the past few days. Beyond the ability to run bots, this terminal has potential to become an excellent alternative for quick spot price entries and exits.

I would love to eventually see an *auto dump* feature (with a threshold adjustment) for rapid exits as well.

Hoping the good folks at Margin Software are open to suggestions Smiley

Keep up the great work!

Hi, and thanks for youe support and suggestions!
We are working on the bot framework right now, which will allow to implement various strategies or time based orders more quickly.

Is anybody else having troubles with Bitfinex at the moment?

After crashing I am unable to connect to Bitfinex. Bitrex works as normal.

Bitfinex site is available from my PC

Two things that may be relevant.

If I start Bitrex first and than try to add Bitfinex as another market nothing seems to happen. The little icon in the top left corner just keeps spinning forever.

I also can't start Bitfinex from the Leonardo start screen. The login button is greyed out.

I never choose restart last session because it never works for me.

(edit) Now working. Please ignore

I have issues logging in to bitfinex too actuall...

Looks like something weird is going on, i can select any exchange i want and get the according input fields .. but if i select bitfinex, there simply changes nothing on the input fields at all...

halp! Wink

Hey,
Bitfinex and Bitstamp had problems with their APIs today.
Looking good now.

Bitstamp exchange has added Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and three new pairs.

We added the new pairs to leonArdo a few days ago so please download the latest version to be able to trade with them.

I just noticed that our data collection was collecting for them so we will try to fix that now.

Hey Rene.

Could you stir the pot a little?
We need a teaser of the next release it's features Cheesy

Hmm, right now I'm testing HitBTC and its lightning fast...

HEY,
is there any way to setup indicator to all tabs?

Yes, but it's a little clunky. You need to set them up how you like them on a single currency pair and then save this as the default (the save button in the indicator panel). Once you re-start leonArdo this indicator set will apply to all currency pairs.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

I've noticed that when getting the run-time error, that many people here seem to report, the program will crash immediately after the login if you choose continue last session. But if you select the last exchange you were using, it works fine.

I do have a wish list item though - it would be great if we could export reports into excel. Specifically, I'd be looking to get reports of all trades over a certain period to see what my gains/losses are. I can get some of this from my exchange platform itself, but it would be great to specify time period, trading pairs, etc.

Hi,

we are looking into better reporting and monitoring features. We will take a more detailed look at this after the release next week!

EDIT: Is the behavior you described above repeatable? If yes could you send the logs to support@marginsoftware.de? Thanks!

All the best,

  Rene

I haven't figured out a rhyme or reason to the original run-time error. Where do I locate the logs files normally?

The log files (.log) are located in the leonardo directory in your home folder.

All the best,

  Rene

I have another suggestion or feature request. Which might actually be a cool/handy feature on its own (and can probably "adapted to the actual bots" too.. dunno Wink).

I want to be able to create spread orders.

Say i want to have 6 buy orders volume N each, starting at value X going down Y steps in price:

So i want it to create a buy order at X,
another one at X + (Y*1), next one on X + (Y*2), next on X + (Y*3)..... and so on.

The same for the Sell orders, start at X and then step up Y each time.

Maybe adittionally one can enter a maximum volume he want to order and set a slider to see how much this will make for how many orders and so on.  That would actually btw fit very well on the margin maker and he pingpong bot and make them able to profit from bigger swings where you would loose some gains probably otherwise. Wink

What you you guys think? Wink)

Greetings

hacky

Edit:
P.s.: It might probably make sense, in such a separate manual spread-trading strategy tab, to actually have some sort of a switch, so that a user can enter a fixed amount of order volume spitted by the amount of orders, or volume per order for all orders (then in a separate field).

So a user can then switch to the mode he wants (volume overall/volume per order) and then simply adjust the according value in the interface. The corresponding other Max/MaxPerOrder field can then automatically actualized whenever the corresponding other gets changed.

There you even can put your nice volume slider from the usual sell/buy orders on the manual trading strategy. would be a nice feature Wink

Oh and you simply can make sure, that the "per order" slider never goes down the min order size limit .. and even count that up for the over all volume slider (adapted with the number of wanted orders).

We love it! Already talked internally about something similar before Smiley Especially because you could configure it with leonArdo visually in the graph. So many cool ideas, thanks guys.

All the best,

  Rene

GReat bot so far! Waiting for update.

Anyways, any chance to add Binance exchange ? I think most of your clients would love to try a bot out there with small amounts before going any further with fear Cheesy

there are other exchanges higher on the list, but we will keep it in mind Smiley

My 24hr average went down to 3.5% this morning due to a couple of pairs that were making very low gains and then a net loss. I've cut those two and replaced them with two that seem much better and 24hr average is steadily climbing back up, now at 4.92%

What is becoming clear to me is that this software can work very well, but it requires a fair amount of time and effort to learn how all the different parameters interact (not surprising - as with anything really) but also quite a bit of analysis of the trading data in order to cull pairs that are not doing well and optimise the ones that are doing well. To this end I have been logging all trade data in a spreadsheet (periodically) over the last 48 hours so I can make such analyses.

It's been quite a lot of effort, which is fine for now laying the groundwork, but it seems it would be fairly straightforward (in theory - I know you guys are very busy) to add some statistics for each trading pair to get an idea of how they are performing over time - eg net gain/loss per each pair (either all-time or the last N-trades/72 hours or something) which pairs have a high percentage of loss trades etc. This is essentially what I've done in my spreadsheet but it would be so useful if it was built in.

Also a way to see at a glance when inputting amounts to trade with - how much that is worth in BTC (or as a percentage of available BTC). A the moment I have to go back to Bittrex, see how much BTC is available to trade with, divide by the number of pairs Im working with and then figure out how much that BTC is worth in each particular pair. It's quite convoluted and makes it hard to hold an overview of what's really going on at a glance. Again something that would be fairly straightforward to put in the app somewhere. I know you have the wallet overview window but it's not very intuitive and there are no tooltips to clarify what each column actually is.

I'm still really happy with the software on the whole, just wanted to point out some areas for improvement Wink

Thanks for your feedback and support! We are looking into more reporting and monitoring features and it will likely find it's way into the product Smiley

  Rene

Hey team. Only a few days left till end of year. Is the next release still on target Smiley

Hi mafia,

great to hear from you! Smiley
Yes. The release is on target and we are looking forward to the release next week.

All the best,

  Rene

Will you include stop loss feature to PingPong and to manual trading also?  I have read in previous posts that it was requested many times.
Best regards.

We are developing a new strategy framework right now for the release next week.
Stay tuned Wink
