Hi everyone, Hope your week has been good. A massive rally this week up to $185 must have put some smiles on your faces . I hope you've all pocketed from the increase. This weeks payouts are coming shortly. The payouts have been adjusted to reflect the price increases, I've held off for as long as possible but I have a limited budget for advertising and would like this scheme to carry on for as long as possible, here's what I've done: When the scheme was originally created, the price was $100/btc, it now sits at just over $180/btc. This reflects an 80% increase in the price of bitcoin. Although the payouts have been reduced by 1/3 (33%), inflation adjusted this will count as a USD increase in size of the original payouts. Here's where he posted the new payouts for those that asked.

That's pretty impressive. Is there a way to see how many times search terms involving the word Bitcoin were done, and the growth of this?
Well that was kind of amusing, pretty sure I wouldn't show it to someone to help them grasp BTC, but obviously wasn't meant for that anyway, Nice going.
Well thanks for the info, could've just thrown it up here though. Those d/l things are annoying sometimes.

I would like to see an auction also. Let me get some of those coins for cheap.
Well that's certainly a nice take for them. What a profitable venture that was.
Some of those look pretty good. I'm definitely hungry now, the more toppings the better.

I've always wanted one and at 53 I think it's about time.
Who else always wanted a real pony?
I say go for it and have fun.

So Josh from BFL just posted this on the forum, just wanted to let you guys know what he thinks of us...
Josh: .... I'm sorry that you feel the BFL forums are too mature for you, but if you want to act like a child please go to Bitcointalk... that is the playground for people acting like animals, not here.
What a fucking prick he is. And i did support BFL by buying their gear. Fuck BFL, their preorders and that muppet Josh. I will stay away from any crap with butterfly on it. Seems that Bitcointalk is jungle for animal like me just because im here. I wonder how would mr muppet Josh looked now if Bitcointalk would not give support and help for selling dreams called BFL jalashitpeno, single's and others crappy devices. True is he now have all the money and can laugh, thats why he behave like tosser. A lot of us have felt that way about BFL for a while. It seems they don't care whether you're a customer or not, or may treat customers worse than potential customers.

Hey everyone,
Long time lurker, finally decided to register here. Have been using other forums for the most part, and figured it's about time that I started contributing here as well. I mostly deal with exchanges of Bitcoin to/from USD and CAD locally. I also do a bit of arbitrage trading between the exchanges.
Welcom to the board. Good luck with your arbitrage, seems to be some decent opportunities.

clearly late 2015: looks like gox opened mid 2010. only data points i can find for before that are ( https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/History ): October 5, 2009 - ($0.000764/BTC) - Exchange rates published by New Liberty Standard. $1 = 1,309.03 BTC (and theymos thought NLS was overcharging) May 22, 2010 - ($0.0025/BTC) - laszlo first to buy pizza with Bitcoins agreeing upon paying 10,000 BTC for ~$25 worth of pizza courtesy of jercos Thanks for the history lesson. If it hits in 2015 then we certainly have some good times ahead shortly.

What will the price of BTC be when 22 million people want 1 BTC each? No idea. But at that point, having 100,000,000 satoshis will be considered a status symbol. "Wow! You have a WHOLE bitcoin?" "Yeah, but I'm not gonna spend any of it because I like seeing 1.00000000 in my wallet." I guess there could be some strange persons like that, maybe they should buy 1.2 just incase they want to spend some.

Well looks like we had a small dip and it's rebounding a bit now.

Paypal is useful for now but I'm hoping we'll see another alternative possibly Bitcoin related gain ground soon.

We were talking about the twitter IPO, and one of the guys had invested in facebook when it launched, inside I laughed at him, but to maybe help them expand their horizons I brought up bitcoin, and told them about all of the money I have made, the ups and downs, its utility, how bitcoins are created etc etc... they started going online and looking up asics and shouting the names like they coulnd't take them seriously because of their names. I don't mine though, and I told them right now isn't the greatest time to invest in those. Then they started talking about buying a bunch of cheap computers off ebay, I'm pretty sure I explained the difficulty and the computing power needed. At least one of the guys was like, I'm gonna see this guy one day as a billionaire. The other guy not so much. I still can't tell if they were pulling my chain, maybe I'm too sensitive, but it sure felt like it... I guess I'll be the one laughing to the bank.
Why would they look up Asics, that's strange. It's probably a little past their understanding, and maybe they're jealous... Most people can be quick to dismiss such ideas from people unless you already have good track record of profiting or some other success they've seen, then they'll usually be more keen to listen I find.

Interesting to think about, could change pretty quick if we see a mass adpotion eventually.

Is Ripple still around? They seemed to want to put a lot of effort into marketing it at the beginning, and then it just died out, thought they gave up on it or something.
