621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: December 17, 2023, 10:30:32 AM
Yeah, Kyrgios is a weird one. I won't miss him, was never a fan of his theatrics.

A really good player when everything is going his way, but definitely not super talented like the media wanted us to believe.
In this lousy period of tennis, I think he never actually breached into top 10 overall.

It's his behavior that brought him most of his fame, his tennis was below par most of the time.

He has the talent, however, is out of the court behavior and theatrics really did a lot of damage on his career. If he has only the mentally of the great players he could really be in the top 5 during his prime years.

But he wasted it, and we all know that even if you have the talent, if you don't know how to bring the best of you and motivate yourself to be the best version of you, talent is not enough. And Nick is the classic example, and see he is should still be in the prime years at 28, but it seems that he will no longer play in the tournament as his body and mind is already giving up.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 17, 2023, 10:11:37 AM
Who knows that Manny Pacquaio's son might be the next champion under MPP, Eman Pacquaio is quite serious on his boxing career and he is also a heavy-handed like his father. Recently he won via KO in the first round, his second fight on the pro level as his first fight was a draw.

When is his son going to be pro? I thought you're just kidding when you say it's his son because he wasn't popular by his name Eman, I known him as Jimuel, but I did some research and had verified it's the same peson.

Jimuel and Eman are two different persons kabayan. Eman Bacusa Pacquaio is Pacman's son with another woman, not Jinkee.

BTW, here is a clip on the fight, hope you like it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-S77rtKYLJM

And yeah who wouldn't forget about the sons of Manny also wanting to follow his footsteps? And I far as I know it was Eman though who has more ambitions that Jimuel as Eman was not Jinkee's son and so he is very protected unlike Jimuel who was born with silver spoon in his mouth.

Nevertheless, I don't think that even his son can do what Manny did in this career. Even Manny's brother was very not as successful as Manny. But he remains with his brother so I guess he is also living a good life because of Manny Pacquiao.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rodriguez Vs Edwards IBF and IBO WORLD FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP DEC 16 2023 on: December 17, 2023, 07:13:11 AM
I thought that Edwards will somewhat make this fight close, but Rodriguez win a big win here, as he stopped after nine rounds. He scored a devastating knock down on round nine that forces the corner of Edwards to stop the fight.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bHzw65W534&t=199s

So in the post fight interview, he said that he will go to 115 lbs and fight Juan Francisco Estrada. I think that is also a great fight as we all know that Estrada is also a great champion at Super Flyweight/Jr. Bantamweight.
624  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN BULLISH PENNANT. on: December 16, 2023, 10:24:40 PM
^^ And just like that, bitcoin broke $40k and then goes up to as high as $45k if I'm not mistaken. So yeah, it did shows a bullish pennant that week when the OP posted his prediction/speculation. But I guess this has been invalidated already as we have reach that price.

Although if we will continue, there are some minor corrections going to $40k-$41k after that huge push.

Now, $40k is the support line again, as after that correction, bullish momentum still persists in this market as we are now in the $43k'ish.
I am not sure that all these technical analysis figures are working correctly. For example now it was clear that bitcoin will rise because a lot of Tether was printed and also many people expect a new spot etf. But things can happen a bit differently and the price can fall. Because it's too early for bitcoin to grow fully. It should happen after the halving.

Of course, it's going to be a hit or miss for this technical analysis. But maybe the OP did manage to get it correctly with. But now it seems that we are in a different movement. We've seen some corrections along the way after that big push to $45,000.

I'm not sure about the Tether printing though, this has been wildly speculated for years and maybe it will put a dent on the price in a negative way but I don't think that it's the main reason why we see that minor dip that I'm talking.

Maybe investors just sold to make profits at around $45,000 and then rebuying when the price hits $40,000. So it's going to be a cycle, but long term basis like in the next 6 months will be a good gauge as how far we are, if we ever hit new all time high or close to it.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 20,000 btc moved on: December 16, 2023, 09:52:05 PM
Looking your timestamp of posting, i didn't see any tweet from whale alert such amount of transfer. Although there is $200k[1] or 5500 BTC transfer but from unknown to unknown wallet, while there is 2310 BTC or $97k from unknown to coinbase[2]. So there's nothing near to what you have posted. And lastly, it doesn't matter.

[1] https://twitter.com/whale_alert/status/1736068965762265368?s=19
[2] https://twitter.com/whale_alert/status/1735870700462752089?s=19

And that's why I totally ignored those kind of alerts from that source. Most of the time for inexperience investors, they could take this as negative and become nervous and suddenly push the sell button. And then this whales are very happy scooping those BTC from noobs.

@alastantiger - I can sense the sarcasm,  Grin

But yeah, in any case, we can speculate what that "unknown wallet" is.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does match fixing concern you often? on: December 16, 2023, 09:22:02 PM
its likely common in boxing since this sport is governed by powerful organizations. they provide a very little window for someone to see whether a match is fixed. but certainly, some people can see the details of it, and gives them a hunch of what could happen especially to hyped fights.

when fury vs ngannou was talked about on the big network, they were talking about fury deciding how big the size of the ring was, and it was interpreted that the fight would end in a decision. because they have both rooms to run around.

i saw this joe rogan podcast where they discussed some rigged fights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abZN8MIY6lg

As far as I know in boxing, yeah, but probably today, it's less unlike in the 40's-60's wherein there were reports that Mafia is taking over boxing world and fixing matches. And then there is the point shaving in collegiate basketball if I'm not mistaken. And obviously in small league in football in some countries. So it's really prevalent to the point that we can call that it's becoming a norm.

As for our concern, yes, everyone should be, we as sports fanatics wanted to see a all even field, or at least even if the team that you are supporting is the underdog, they will give everything to win, vice versa with the favorite. But if you see that teams are not performing well and just going to the motions of playing and in the case of boxing, taking a dive to end the fight, then we are going to be annoyed by it.
627  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OWL.GAMES CASINO - SCAM!!! on: December 16, 2023, 03:01:32 PM
Thank you for sharing your experience here, it could be a valuable lesson for prospective users of OWL.Games. If your accusation does have enough evidence, you might need to make a special statement in the Scam Accusations section. There is a possibility that the OWL team will respond and provide a solution for you, otherwise then the O WL team accepts your accusations.

It might did if this thread is going to be bump or gamblers will have to search for a casino that they want to start playing with. Otherwise, it will be too late for them and then we will see this kind of scam accusations.

So I guess for everyone, specially newbies wanted to try new casinos, they better have to research it first as there could be multiple scams that haven't been settled yet or they are blatantly scamming everyone and lost all the reputation from this community.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 16, 2023, 02:30:29 PM
Marlon Tapales has experience fighting Japanese boxers to win the WBO bantamweight title from Japanese boxer Shohei Omori in 2017.
But naoya inoue is not a bad boxer he is a great boxer monster ko with a fighting record of 25 wins with 22 of them won by ko without ever losing.
I think naoya inoue will win this match.
And this match is played in Japan home base or inoue's home country which of course will be supported by his supporters who come a lot at the match venue.

Not a good reference to consider if you are looking for any advantage for Tapales. Even he fought several Japanese boxers before, we are talking about Naoya Inoue here and we should know why he was even called a Monster in every division he reign. He's really on the other level.

Not even showing any signs of being bulky despite weight increase. That's how disciplined Naoya Inoue is.

And let's face it, even this match will happened in the Philippines, there's really no way how Tapales can match Inoue technically. By almost all aspect, Inoue is dominating in every thing. Sad to say that I don't see how Tapales will win here. But if ever he upset Inoue here, this will be the Fight of The Year, I'm sure about that.

Of course, we can't compare the style of Naoya to any Japanese fighters that Tapales has fought. He is very different obviously and above the current breed of Japanese fighters and could make a history for them, becoming a 2 division unified champion.

As for his body, yeah, that's why we said or even himself that he can still go up to 1-2 division more because his body can mature in the future and then can't make the 122 lbs anymore. But going to be tougher to go 126 and higher.

Although there are talks of a super fight between him and Tank Davis.

That will be a great fight Inoue vs Davis, but the only thing that we can see is that both are 5'5 in height and Davis obviously the natural 135 lbs here.

Barely 10 days from this fight, I think Tapales had settled down already. And in his interview, he said he is not bothered to be the underdog as he is used to it and so far he is doing a great job at beating those favorites.

And his team believes that Inoue has weaknesses that they can exploit. So for sure we are going to see this fight and Tapales can accomplished what no other boxer has done before, take that 0 from Inoue and unify the belt.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 16, 2023, 01:59:55 PM
^^ I seems that the list is not updated, Casimero bolted out of MP already, he is working under a Japanese promotion, Treasure Boxing Promotion. It started with the Akaho fight that ended in controversial fashion. But I do agree that they have produce the Filipino champ, Casimero.

As far as the Haney's and the side of Tank Davis, they are still at it and the social media "fight" is still on.

Now Bill Haney responded to Leonard Ellerbe about the 50k PPV that supposedly the numbers on Haney vs Prograis.

630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Type of gambling and Intelligence on: December 15, 2023, 12:57:13 AM
Does the type of game you play at a casino or sports you bet on show an individual's level of intelligence or how smart a person is?
Blackjack, Poker, slots, roulette, baccarat, sports betting, horse racing, betting on sociopolitical events, keno, etc.

Depends on the game itself, obviously if it is a luck base games then, there are no analysis whatsoever. For example, in roulette, if you pick a single number, there could be reasons like it could be your favorite numbers or other reasons. So there's no level of intelligence there and it doesn't shows how intelligent you are.

But perhaps in poker, it could be different though, and we have seen books usually by the players themselves regarding the strategies. Like how to read your opponents body movement and call their bluff.

And same with sports betting, some level of analysis should play a big role on what teams are you going to bet, also as a big fans of the sports as well as it taps on the passion of that particular sports.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The need for mental section or public orientation for new gamblers. on: December 15, 2023, 12:38:36 AM
That thread if it is ever created will be a place of spam. All that anyone need to know about gambling and how to gamble safely is here. The search button is a tool that if used effectively will provide links to all the topics on gambling and mental health, the stories that a beginner need to be aware of.

I couldn’t agree more. It would be full of spam and irrelevant information. All the advise one would ever need against irresponsible gambling has been already posted on here. People just need to search and read the numerous threads in various topics concerning irresponsible gambling.
Asides all of that, even if there were to be a thread concerning all these, a lot old people could ignore the sub board as they’ve ignored these threads stating more or less the same thing.

Yeah, that's one problem as well that majority of us will agree, unless there's someone who will allot his time to watch that board and clean it up, it will be a nightmare for moderators and maybe we will lose the essence of having that board in the first place.

Just discuss everything here and we will be ok. And as we can see, there's thread here that sometimes pop up and discusses the mental health issues and we have seen members giving good advise as well. It's just to the OP on how he will take those suggestions and advises.
632  Economy / Gambling / Re: Seabet.io Online Casino on: December 13, 2023, 11:49:55 AM
I just saw this thread and I just want to welcome you! I checked your website but it shows me this "This request was blocked by our security service" and reading that Philippines was blocked by your casino, may I know why is that? and also just out of curiosity is it possible to use VPN to play with your website even with a small amount of deposit? I actually wanted to look for new gambling sites to play with, and I find your gambling site pretty interesting.
Possibly your country must have been restricted from the casino website best known to them but from my end here, I can access the website. It is good you called their attention wether to use the VPN option or not because definitely there might be a request for KYC which might likely affect you in the future and if it happens that your KYC is having an identity or details of a country different from the IP address identified with your account, there is every possibility that the casino might with withhold your funds or get your account banned. So it is nice you asked them no is for clarification. Besides I was wondering why their announcement thread is just as it is despite their campaign going on. There should be some form of engagement here but it is unfortunate that only the representative is doing the talking here.

Yes, most likely this is the case as to what of the most gamblers are experiencing with Seabet.io.

Nevertheless, there are gamblers that I think have tried their platform already and so far I haven't heard any negative things like scam accusations or something. There is some form of engagement, the OP is very active.

And I do remember that they have a signature campaigns as well but it didn't last that long and so they have resorted to different kind of promotions.
633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has anybody expected this? on: December 13, 2023, 09:54:11 AM
At this early stage of December we're seeing $40k that we have been expecting since the 2nd week of November, let's see if we're going to have a barrier after hitting $40k. And I also feel that the market price is much more positive this time around and is not going to be a stagnant price like we saw in November, like having a back and forth movement without any progress ($35k-$37k without going forward).
If we manage to get to $45k before getting to the 2nd week without any pause in price then it's official that we might be heading to $50k this December.

Is it too fast if bitcoin hits $50k this December? And is that really a good thing for us or just a bigger trap waiting for us? Honestly, I'm more satisfied with the current price than expecting bitcoin to continue rising without any correction. Sustainable growth requires adjustment and movement in a ladder shape rather than vertical growth. I think I will start to be more cautious when bitcoin hits $42k this month instead of expecting bitcoin to continue its vertical rise to $50k.

What's wrong with Bitcoin getting to $50k now or tomorrow and must there be correction before we could see a growth in Bitcoin price?😅
Just let it be with the market price because we could be seeing something different and I don't think with the way Bitcoin price is positively increasing, that is a trap, is just a good sign that we might be getting to a bigger price come next year.
My major concern is the price hanging at a particular price for almost a week before sluggishly making a move and later coming back down, but I hope this time around it would be a positive movement.

And as what we have said, most of the time to move forward, we will have to go into correction, it might not be that deep, but at least a respite from the market as it's obvious that we can't go on parabolic rise. So in the last 24 hours, we've seen the price hovering it's support line of $40,000.

So to go to $50,000 we must first see this kind of dip. It's not that bad though, at least at the current price, everyone can still go and invest and buy at this price. Because investors are looking for a small correction before they invest. We still have at least 2 weeks before the end of the year and there could be a lot of surprises along the way (ending could be $45,000-$50,000).
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: December 13, 2023, 09:08:10 AM
Ryan is calling everybody even if he's not anymore a star. Haney may take the challenge and probably even win.
He knows his value mate, his a PPV boy. Even if he is not a champion now, i think we can consider him as a star since he is very popular in boxing. And with his recent win, we can see that he wants to come back and I wouldn't be surprise if he'll get a championship fight soon since promoters would be happy to see him in the ring as the fight will surely sell to the crowd, and of course to the PPV subscribers.

Ryan is only confident from the outside. Inside, he's a sad, lonely, and fearful little boy.

Yes, we can even call him a PPV king for this year, him and Davis has the highest PPV when they fought. Although it takes two boxers inside the ring, but I think Ryan bring so much in the table hyping any fight of his. Just like the last time wherein he even have a beef with his boss, Oscar and Bernard and then knocking out Duarte.

We know what he went through, he admitted he had some mental health issue, but he's fine now, at least that's what his camped said.

When a fighter wins, I don't think they ever come across about mental health or not. So obvious in this case, him and Derrick James could have a long and good relationships if he keeps on winning fights with James as his trainer.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 13, 2023, 07:53:21 AM
Checking on the rankings, Magsayo has broken into the top 10 with this win. He is rank 7th in WBC wherein the champion is O'Shaquie Foster. Looking at familiar names here: Robson Conceicao ranks number 2.

So we should imagine how him and Robson will clash, definitely contrasting style, but who knows, maybe Magsayo can score a upset if they fight.

But there are some unfamiliar names in the ranking, maybe that should be Magsayo's target in the top 5 and again, maybe he will have a good chance to defeat them and obviously ranks up.

That is great for him. I look at the other three belts and Magsayo is positioned as number 13 by the WBO for the November ratings. I am almost certain Magsayo will enter the WBO top 10  once the evaluations for the December ratings are done. Moreover, who knows if the WBA and IBF will likewise include Magsayo for their December ratings. If he keeps on winning he will get a championship match soon.

In WBC he is already rank number 7. And yeah, most likely if he keeps on winning his rank will go up and could break top 10 to top 5. But Sean Gibbons doesn't need to rush Magsayo in this division. I do agree that they should pick another tune up fight for him before going into the likes of Robson or Navarette.

O'Shaquie Foster has a coming match with Abraham Nova in February. Robson Conceicao had a great performance when he fought Navarette; some even believed he won. The demand is high and we will see Conceicao getting another championship match next year.

This is going to be a good match, either way I will go with Foster winning this fight. Not sure about Robson, he has so many chance to win the belt but he always feel short. Yeah, he did great against Navarette, but the volume punching of Navarette is too much that's why the judges give him the win.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Passionate gambler keeps the gambling boards rolling even after retirements on: December 13, 2023, 07:15:24 AM
Do you still play the game to make profits? Or you plays for fun?

There was this professional checker (draughts) gambler in my area who then spent most of his times in the checkers gambling board but I don't know if he is one of the addicted or not. For over 12 years now he has been working with one of the biggest oil company in my country.
In more than 5 years now, he has been setting up annual gaming competitions amongst his old time gambling colleagues including those who are recognized and regularly gambling in the same checkers gambling location with him.
{..snip..}

I think this is not the first time that I heard this kind of story, even in our place there was a lot of passionate chess player who we knows always plays with his friends and even uninvited guess to play with him. So I see them every weekends or even almost every day.

But suddenly, the man disappeared and we heard that he had a good job outside of the country. Nevertheless he will spent some money like in a tournament with his buddies and even other players from other neighborhood and this goes for years and years. However, I have move out of that place though so haven't heard anything from those guys anymore.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: December 12, 2023, 12:13:02 PM
Working from your living room definitely has some nice parts, like not fighting traffic or wearing real pants.  But with the good comes the bad - not having a boss can make it way too easy to binge Netflix instead of doing actual work.  The work/life divide gets real muddy when your office is down the hall from your bed and  it's tough to flip the I'm clocked in switch when you never technically clock out.

Staying focused gets hard without other people around doing their thing too.  At a real office, seeing everyone else grinding motivates you to look busy too.  But when it's just you and your dog at home, its a battle to not just play fetch all day.  Procrastination can sneak up quick.

So in short - work from home flexibility rocks but it takes some serious self-discipline.  If I didn't have bills to pay, I'd probably just watch TV and never meet deadlines.  Good thing I like to eat food and have electricity.

And now that we are back in the normal, employees are required to go back to their desk job now. But as least though, for the majority we have experienced working from home. Although for me, I have experienced it way before the pandemic and I will agree that it has some advantages and disadvantages.

So it depends on the individual itself, I mean you still need to wake up if you have a early job and stay for 8 hours. I won't advice to just TV or anything though, just focus on the job and complete it like what you normally does in the office.
638  Economy / Speculation / Re: So I guess we sell at $48626 ? on: December 12, 2023, 11:26:54 AM
Let us not be afraid of bitcoin price falling because might rush or been inquisitive to sell our bitcoin immediately the price got to forty eight thousand as people emphasis or lamenting due to a passed experience of bitcoin, you may rush to sell your bitcoin now and probably the price get increased you will blame your self been at rush or panic to sell your bitcoin, so therefore only thing I have to encourage people is to make use of chart to study the movement of the candle sticks and that will give them a clear understanding of when to sell their bitcoin and when not to sell their bitcoin, we should not depend on a speculation and predictions because many people have regretted today because of wrong advice and signal they take from people, in conclusion what happened last year in bitcoin can not repeat itself, so make your decision and sell your coin

Bitcoin price has not fallen much yet but people are panicking too much, i do not know why  Huh

48-50K is still on the cards and I think after this small correction we may again be heading towards this target. I know that there is a big resistance there and we may get multiple rejections from this 48K level before we can break this resistance and it becomes a strong support.

And with Bitcoin falling in the $40,000 - $41,000 range, I think this TA might have been invalidated already and there will be no selling at $48,000?

Just shows that it's really hard to predict where the price is going to be, TA could help us, but sometimes it's beyond our control, price moves in the opposite direction. Nevertheless, this is just a minor correction, we still have 2 weeks or more to go before the end of the year.

So we might see some swing in the price or at least going back to $44,000 range and I think everyone will be happy on that price move.
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rodriguez Vs Edwards IBF and IBO WORLD FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP DEC 16 2023 on: December 12, 2023, 10:11:05 AM
I might go with the underdog this time, with Edwards winning by knockout or decision. Yes, Rodriguez is the favorite in this fight, because he has the knockout power. But I think Edward will use his feet in this fight, more movement and maybe he can dish out some of his power too.

And then just to soften up Rodriguez and maybe in the champion rounds he will go for that knockout win or even take the championship rounds from Rodriguez.

So let's see how it goes, another good weekend fight to watch for boxing fans. Definitely it's for a unification of 2 belts so this fighter will go all in in this fight.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 12, 2023, 09:45:27 AM
Mark Magsayo won his fight at super featherweight, 130 lbs, he beat Isaac Avaler via a vicious knockout.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXfQiPR9v_A

Although there are still some loopholes in Magsayo here, as he was open for counter. But the good thing is that he can take the punch of Avaler because he has a solid chin. But he needs to cover his face at this division because it's going to be very difficult for him if he will face fighters in the top 10.

So this person just climbed to a new division after his back to back losses to Rey Vargas and Brandon Figueroa. Although Magsayo has a powerful punch, his fighting style does have many flaws. If he wants to become a champion once more, he needs to change those bad habits.

Anyhow, it is good that he returned to the ring and won once more. Perhaps a couple of more matches and he gets a championship match. The title holders are not stable except for Navarette. But Navarrette already in his third division tenure, is beginning to exhibit some weaknesses that could be taken advantage of.

But still Navarette is solid as this division and I do not see any advantage of Mark Magsayo over the rest of the champions here. Navarette's volume and output might be too much for Magsayo and he is very open to counter and for sure Navarette will find that opening in their fight.

Joseph Cordina is a tall dude, while O'Shaquie Foster is very technical and no offense to the fans of Magsayo as I'm also a fan of him, but Foster is going to make a killing out of him if this face each other.

Not to drag Magsayo, but I also believe that this new division is really tough for him, though he won on his debut, and it creates noise and hype with the way he takes down his opponent, but in serious matter, those champs and top ranks' contenders will surely bring him difficulty to move forward.

Let's see how he can take this new journey and how far he can reach with the way he showcases his skills and talent.

Magsayo is very open to counters, but if the champions of this new division give him the chance, he will surely accept the challenge. Magsayo is unlikely to prevail over them, but he possesses a powerful punch that has the potential to eliminate them.

Regardless of Magsayo being open to counters, his jaw could hold except perhaps from Navarrette. The rest of the champions are not as powerful, but they cannot be denied for their skills. And if Magsayo does not have the stamina to stay dangerous the whole match, the champions will easily win.

I do agree, even if he won in his last fight, he got hit many times thru counters although he didn't take that much damage, but the flaw in his game was very obvious and he can't make the same mistakes with the champion here as he will be knockout most likely with the like of Navarette and other powerful punchers.

But if he just wanted to remain on top of the division and earn some good money in this career, he can stay with this division and fight some of the best non-champion. We might see him in one of the great fights but he will surely had a hard time to become a champion, IMHO.
