Seems that POLO is undergoing a DDOS attack. There has been huge volume of bitcoin and ether trading there.
Is a DDOS attack likely to increase its vulnerability to br hacked or compromised?

Charismatic figures a.k.a leaders is one of the thing Bitcoin lacks and the masses need .
What evidence is there that Bitcoin needs that?

I was thinking this could be wave 5 but maybe it's still wave 3? If its wave 5 then around 380 could be wave 1 equals wave 5
It got to 371 before coming down to 269...so that call of a 5th wave ending at around 380 wasn't too bad

Thanks guys. I had heard that but found it hard to find information. Might not suit me (except for a trade). But with unlimited supply...no wonder the banks like it

The last math I heard: out of 70 million+ Ethers currently in existence only 11 million are in the wild. That would mean they are all on Polo right now?
Hi.. Do you know the maximum number of ether that will exist? Where are the 59 million not "in the wild"? Thanks

I showed this to a friend who has a subscription charting service based on Elliot wave and he said. either wave three or a c wave. C wave = 4900. 3rd =5400 then 5600 Umm.. In English please. I asked him whether the "last move" would be wave 3 or wave 5. He thinks it could be "wave 3" out of a 5 wave move. Or it could be a "C wave" (the corrective move we saw). I sent him a chart of Ether from the start. Five waves up. Three waves down. 1 2 3 4 5....A B C http://www.elliottwave.com/freeupdates/archives/2015/11/11/Using-Elliott-Waves-As-Simple-As-A-B-C.aspx#axzz42pHzjva6

I cannot see why Alt coins discussions like ETH is tolerated on a Bitcoin forum under non-Alt coin sections any way. They stopped the XT discussions when it was labelled as a Alt coin and now we are
allowing ETH pumpers to hijack every other thread and ETH shills doing their thing all over the show. I also have some ETH but I am not going to force it down onto others in the hope that it might
become something and to the detriment of Bitcoin? How is this allowed on a Bitcoin forum?
Ask the guy who started the thread. For the record I am short Etherium today and have always been long BTC

There seems to be stories circulating that going forward it could be better to use Etheriums blockchain at times. http://themerkle.com/factom-plans-to-anchor-into-ethereum-blockchain/An interesting topic has been raised on Reddit about how services using the Bitcoin blockchain feel about the ongoing block size and scalability issues. Although there are multiple solutions available to solve the Bitcoin blockchain issues, rumours are circulating of how Factom could move to a different blockchain solution. In fact, there seem to be concrete plans to anchor into the Ethereum blockchain as well, which could be quite interesting in the future.

why ETH? where is the link between this news and this altcoin?
http://bravenewcoin.com/news/bitshares-price-jump-follows-microsoft-azure-addition/There are only four other blockchain services in Azure’s template manager, putting BitShares alongside Ethereum, Open Assets, Eris, and BitPay’s Bitcore. IT departments around the world wanting to test out a blockchain deployment for themselves will find these five packages among the easiest to evaluate.

Banks are buying ethere LOL Forget that bank employees lives are fully monitored Every their expense must be approved They have mainframes and all expensive heavy duty tech - they buy p2p shitcoin
OLOLO
I worked as a principal trader for a global investment bank. They were very very open to trying anything that could increase bonus's for management. They tried some very out there things at that time. That was pre 2008 and I gather things changed a bit but it is very possible

What does ETH offer on the table which is more unique than Bitcoin or other alt coins of that matter? It looks to me like a massive quick pump to get some people rich very fast.
If banks are going to use the Etherium blockchain then I'd be surprised if they themselves weren't loading up as principal.

It would make sense if you consider the two things: 1) Coordinated contentious HF's and media attacks (Hearn). 2) ETH bots before the pump on Reddit. 3) ETH bots on the Forum now (quite annoying).
Good points. I will say that the aggressive nature of the buying and endless amount of bitcoins they keep reloading to buy is quite extraordinary. I do wonder who wants to buy so many so aggressively. Something very different is happening with Ether, but what I don't know, but it's strange

30% of the stolen funds? Is that the going rate on extortion or doxxing or whatever this offer is? Seems exorbitant.
That is typical for a "debt collector" where I come from

Anyone of you had this kind of situation ? personally, whenever I start speaking about Bitcoin and how it will go to the moon and that kind of stuff , some of people start mocking (Friends , Family etc ..) . I personally don't know how to respond in most cases honestly , I just believe bitcoin will become successful .
I tell them I bought some at 50 cents..See how they laugh then. No seriously. I kill them and bury the bodies where no one can ever find them

I don't care either way. May the best coin win. However, this smells of manipulated pump like so many others over the years.
No doubt there are some deep pockets gobbling up as much Ether as they can. Which I'd prefer not as they will probably profit handsomely, and I'd rather it was spread more widely at this stage
