Is there plans to add 1, 5 and 15 minute graphs?
Also when I hover the mouse over a time block on the graph there used to be a pop-up window showing opening, high and low and volume for the block but now nothing shows?

We have those! The smallest candles are 1 minute candles found in our 30 Minute view.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Does anyone have tips on how to get notifications (via e-mail for instance) when a bot successfully makes a BUY of SELL?
I should hope you will have better success than that!  Grin I mean it seems that unless you are only expecting very few successful transactions in a day a person may want to avoid that much email traffic. I have thought about it and I know of no way to get the alerts, from my prospective any add-on or screen scraping and email etc would be an unnecessary security exposure, one more open port for the hackers.

I prefer telegram notifications, it should not be difficult to implement for LeonArdo developers.

Hell yeah! Telegram notifications would absolutely be the coolest thing! Wink

Hacky

There will be more notification options available and telegram is high up on our list Smiley

All the best,

  Rene

+6.5% gains in the last 21hrs, no errors or unexpected losses while I slept ...

I spoke a little too soon. While I didn't get any errors or unexpected large losses while I slept, I just checked over all the running strategies more carefully, and while all 6 were still running, all but one of them were stuck on buy orders that were way out of range (far below the current buy price) of the current time window range. I had to stop all these orders and start them again and now it's all back to normal.  I have no idea what caused this.

I still stand at 6.5% gains in the last 21 hours though - it probably would be closer to 7.5% if the above hadn't happened.

Sounds like the price just moved away from the expected window. If you reduce your statistical window (and maybe even max order age) these order will be replaced closer to the current price.
But that might not always be the desired behavior.

All the best,

 Rene

Thanks Rene, yeah I've basically come to the same conclusion. It's working pretty well now, I seem to be getting around 6% gains per 24hr peroid. if I can increase that t around 8 or 10 that would be amazing, but even at 6 it's pretty damned good.

Happy to hear that.

All the best,

Hello. I installed a demo version and when I try to open the programm I get this error . I have a windows 10 and all versions of framework and visial c++ are installed. Can somebody help me to figure out what is wrong?

@leonArdo@margin, I'm sorry for interrupting you but can you help me with solving this problem?

Is leonArdo crashing  immediately after starting it? Do you see the login windows at all?

All the best,

 Rene

It does not even open: I click on the icon and then the error occure immediately.

That is strange indeed. This normally only happens with Bitdefener or a similar software installed.
Are you sure you are not running something like that?

All the best,

  Rene

Edit: I suggest also not using max amounts when trading with the mArgin maker bot as if the market moves away you might not have the funds to place the next order...

HI Guys. I'm really loving LeonArdo. I now have it running on a Linux VPS after some initial troubles setting it up.

Still trying to learn the best way to get a profit out of it - so far any small to medium gains it does make seem to get wiped out by one big dip in one of the pairs it's working on.

On the margin maker bot for example I'm struggling to get the right parameters set so that a 10-15% dip in value doesn't stop the bot. I'm posting two examples - in both I set a stop loss of around 5-8% and a negative minimum margin of -1.0% - -2.% but it seems the bot ignored the dropping price completely until it reached the stop-loss value.

How can I best set the stop loss and negative minimum effective gain % so that the bot keeps trading effectively even after a 10=15% drop in price?

The negative minimum gain forces that you won't make a loss more that x% between a buy and a sell.
The stop loss sells at x% as a downside protection and stops the bot.

If you want the strategy to continue you would have to set a bigger % for stop loss.
Hope that helps.

All the best,

  Rene

Right (thanks for your response), but as you can see in the screenshots, the first trades made an effective loss that was bigger than the negative minimum gain - so shouldn't it have sold before it even reached the stop loss?

The reason for that loss was the stop loss which triggered the sell.  So with a bigger stop loss % the strategy wouldn't have sold. Setting a lower* stop loss would have prevented the sell in this case.

Hope that helps!

*lower= lower price = bigger acceptable loss

Is there any way to navigate a large list of coins in Leonardo easily? The list at the top is not good at all. Clunky and slow.

As a day trader, it is critical to be able to navigate dozens or even a hundred or more pairs instantly.

I'm finding it impossible to do that on Leonardo so far, unless I'm missing some feature.

Also, and just to be honest here... the charts are pretty rough looking, especially the 1 minute candle charts. Is there any way you could incorporate tradingview charts into it?

We hear ya in terms of the top bar/overview area! A re-design of that area in on our wish list.
In terms of the charts we tend to dis agree. Maybe there is a display issue on you system?
If you send a screenshot on, we are happy to take a look!

Ended up running tightVNC on a VPS to fix my shittyslow internet connection.

Runs like a charm :p

EDIT:
Does this application make use of multiple cores?

Hi,

yes leonArdo runs on multiple cores. Four or six cores definitely help!
But still the API limits on the exchanges can't be lifted by using more cores Smiley

Hi,
I would like to know how the stop and trailing-stop functionality added to Bitfinex works...
Thanks for all

They are native orders on the Bitfinex exchange.
The Documentation can be found here:

https://support.bitfinex.com/hc/en-us/sections/115001100909-Order-Types

All the best,

  Rene

Thanks but I dont know how to set the buy/sell order and the stop-loss together ....
Cheers !!!

They are just another order type. You need to choose one and then decide whether you are in buy mode or sell mode.

All the best,
Jonathan

Hello,

I purchased the software and it runs great on my mac...  I download it on my Windows 10 machine and It won't sync with my exchange.  I type in all the API keys then I click login....  nothing happens.  No initializing bar or anything.  It's like it freezes up.  I've downloaded both versions for windows and I also added the program to my firewall, it always does the same thing... Please help.

What firewall software are you using? There are known problems with antivirus software, Bitdefender is causing the most problems there.
And are you sure you copied the full api and secret into the login window?

All the best,

 Rene

I tried rebooting and tripled checked both API keys...  I turned off the firewall and virus protection.  It's doing the same thing.  I click on Login and it becomes un-clickable with no signs of trying to login. No error messages or blue login status bar just stops and the login cannot be clicked again.

Did you already agree to the terms? Sometime the terms hide in the background for some reason.
Did you check the key/secret for leading or trailing spaces?

All the best,

  Rene

I got it to work!  I ran it as administrator and that seemed to fix all the issues.  Thanks for all your help

Perfect! A permissions issue?

Anyway, great you are up and running!

Evening.

My client won't show the following exchanges their currency pairs:
Poloniex, bitrex, huobipro

I'm using Poloniex myself, their returnCurrencies API endpoint does return a boatload of correcJSON for me(https://poloniex.com/public?command=returnCurrencies).
Here's what curls out of it https://pastebin.com/1yStyxNq

Hi,

on which OS are you using leonArdo? Are you running on Linux?

All the best,

  Rene

A forked version of Debian 8.
https://poloniex.com/public?command=return24hVolume endpoint also completely works.

On some linux systems there is a problem with the libSSL.
You could try the alternative installer: www.marginsoftware.de/downloads/run-leonArdo.sh

All the best,

  Rene

Newcomer Question,
Whats a good stable market to run the bot in with not a lot of big swings?
I am looking at DOGE at the moment and CLAM. They seem pretty stable. Only looking at a stable 2% gain.

Any tips from the pro's?

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't touch Doge, buy wall and sell walls are far too large for your order to get settled, Clam looks good except for its not that stable atm, nice 20% drops every week or so in what looks like a declining market.
In regards to what works, not sure if your going to get many ppl giving advice on the bots usage, rather frustratingly there is a common idea that the strategy wont work if told to others.
Try SALT, BRX

Thnx.

It's good to share trading info with each other if we are using the same bot, imo. Are there only the 5 tutorial videos? I'm looking for a more text based tutorial or wiki on how the use everything in the program.

There are some third party videos available on Youtube:

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=leonardo+bot

We are also working on providing new videos and more info.

All the best,
