661  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: binance vs decentralized exchange on: August 21, 2023, 09:09:23 AM
I have been meaning to get back into trading and futures for a while. I left binance do with KYC but thinking of sucking it up and excepting it. Looking at alternatives though dydx came to my attention. What are they like and is there any other good Perpetual exchanges that are non KYC
For me it is a clear choice and I would rather deal with binance over the decentralized ones easily because that is what I believe to be the better option and should be the case for most people. This isn't a jab at the decentralized exchange idea, if there is a single one that is a lot better than binance one day then I would be glad to use it and that will not be a problem for me at all, I would very much rather use whatever is the best one out there.

However, right now there are none of them that are better than the one that we have, Binance is the best one out of them all, and this isn't even just decentralized ones, I can easily say that Binance is the best one out of all the centralized ones as well.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have betted 100$ on this token [BSC CHAIN] and I explain why on: August 21, 2023, 05:40:59 AM
To be honest, if you were wanna writing crappy article about your token and this is not the right place. You just found your own token, and that's it. Your main intention was to promoting your shit scam meme token and no more.
You have been introducing the crappy token that can be easily identified as the scam token with no interest from the crypto users.

You shall withdraw your own liquidity that already added to your crappy token.  Cheesy
Yeah, a newbie account that says it is not theirs and do not control it neither... hmmm how about we can say that they are being paid to shill it? It is obvious that nothing called "bitcoin meme" will be growing at all, it is a terrible one and hasn't seen any attention and will stay low.

You do not need to pick this after months of research neither, go to ANY launchpad out there, pick anything at random and there is no possible way that whatever you picked would be as bad as this one. You should be doing it a lot better and you should be having trouble making a dime out of things like this. Focus on making a profit the way you want to make it, and that way you are going to end up with a greater return for sure, that's how it works.
663  Economy / Economics / Re: How to developed your capital on: August 20, 2023, 07:45:10 PM
But it's too much, we also have to be realistic in managing and enjoying life. Everything that the OP said is very true, but there are some things that must be developed within oneself and that is quite important, namely working hard to be able to apply these things and working hard to try to achieve whatever.
Capital is often a problem, but not for people who have high confidence and innovation in doing positive things.
When I was a kid, they used to tell us to go to school, come out and get a good job that is paying and we are going to have a good lifestyle but now things are changing. There are many persons that have a job but the job is not giving them comfort. The phases of life and how we are going to make it in life is gradually changing. Hard work pays before but not now. There are people that are doing hard work but they are not making it at all which is why we need to do smart work. Life I'd getting worse as a result of the inflation we are facing from the government making life hard for people to bear.
Unfortunately parents raise their kids for the time they lived, not for the time they are going to live. For example, my dads time was a period when English was becoming more important at work, so he wanted me to go to college and learn English, and because of that there were a lot of people who studied English and learned it at my age group, since all our dads wanted to learn but couldn't and was too late, and because of that we did, but because we all did at the same time, speaking English doesn't make anyone a lot of money at all.

I believe that we need to focus on making our kids learn stuff that will benefit them in their own future. A lot of parents are teaching their kids how to code now, but coding is todays job, it won't be as profitable 20+ years later.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 20, 2023, 06:48:50 PM
I still regret that Saudi Arabia did not bring Messi into their team. We cannot continue to witness the rivalry between the two legends. Let's say they try to convince Messi. Then everyone will have a different view of their league, which is a big step for them. When Messi won the World Cup, Maybe money or titles were no longer essential to him.
On social networking sites, I often read exciting articles. Saudi money can buy all the former top stars. But there's only one World Cup winner that can't be purchased: Lionel Messi.
Money cannot entice every player to join the Saudi team. Kylian Mbappe rejected bids from Saudi, because there's alot he will achieved in Europe. Leo Messi turned down offers from Saudi Arabia because he felt it would be an unwise move, instead accepted offers from Inter Miami, who were struggling in their league. In accordance with Leo Messi's statistics, he had a significant impact on the club. Leo Messi is the undisputed GOAT; he put an end to the GOAT conversation when Argentina won the World Cup in 2022. Presently he's doing exceptionally brilliant in his new club and had help them lifts their first ever league trophy.
I do not think that it's about money but more about personality and cultural difference. I understand that there are some Saudi people who could argue that the life style in Saudi Arabia is just as good and you can do anything there and have fun and all that.

But, a lot of players "think" (or know) that they can't do exactly what they do in Europe or USA which they can't do there, I mean it's just not acceptable according to the culture and they just do not want that risk. Sure maybe it's allowed, but allowed and frowned upon are different. It's a lot easier for them to go to a culture that is closer to theirs and this is why while there are a lot of great footballers who agree to go go here, there are some who just feel not so great about it and reject.
665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is centralized, will other cryptocurrencys survive ?. on: August 20, 2023, 05:45:41 AM
factors like community support, technological advancement, and real -world adoption can contribute to the survival of alternative cryptocurrencies in such a scenario.

Because cryptocurrencies are basically a cryptographic contracts that exist and are running on their individual Blockchains on its own, and it doesn't hold any value. what gives it value is the concept of general acceptability, so the nature of one cryptocurrency can not affect the other if the community behind it so believe or want it so.

with all this put down here, I'm still not convinced. I need your opinions that, if Bitcoin is been centralized can other cryptocurrencies survive .
"if" bitcoin is centralized, others will not survive. Also "if" bitcoin is owned by a single person and nobody else, no other currency will survive, or "if electricity is gone" then bitcoin won't survive, and same as "if the whole world blows up, bitcoin won't survive". We should stop considering these unrealistic stuff and start considering a bit more serious stuff as well.

We are talking about things that will not happen like they will happen but we all know that it is not going to happen at all. So, if we keep on trying to figure out how to do something like this, then we are going to end up with a problem and that's not going to end up being anything good at all. So long story short we should be ignoring all these FOMO stuff.
666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SpaceX sold $373M worth Bitcoin, reason of current dump on: August 19, 2023, 06:55:04 PM
Have you see how dumping Bitcoin? If not you are missing red chart. Here is the reason why current dump happened.
It is obviously not the reason for the current dump. Dumps do not happen with these small amounts you think of. Selling 373 million doesn't mean anything, the market trades that much daily, we have people buying and selling that much anyway every single day. So believe me, this isn't the main reason. Sure it could play a part in it, there is nothing wrong with saying that this was one part of it, but saying it was the only reason doesn't make sense at all.

Plus, it dropped yesterday or the day before I am not sure, do we have a source that says space X sold it just as it went down? I do not see a source for it, we need exact date of when they sold in order to match that with what has happened as well in order to say it was them.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What factors contributed to the absence of price change after the Litecoin halvi on: August 19, 2023, 06:28:23 AM
While true we cannot forget about self-fulfilling prophecies either, in which if enough people believe that some event will happen on the future then that event will come to happen due to the decisions taken by all of those people, I really think the main difference here is the demand that bitcoin has, bitcoin unlike most coins has a use case and it is the most widely used cryptocurrency, this gives it a massive advantage over any coin and despite most people now knowing about the effects of the halving a bull run may still happen.
Yeah, this is also true. Most of the time outcome of analyzing the fundamentals or real life events that would be affecting chart patterns doesn't fall far off from tossing a coin if the price is going up or down.

Only thing that keeps working so far for me is the effect of "buy the rumor and sell the news". And sometimes those news happens before any rumors and while the price moves immediately, it will move more depending how good or bad news are. In these cases fomoing in often pays off. As when the action isn't priced in, negative news make some people who are in denial buying the dip, as they will see the news as fud. Even when the price keeps on crashing to the ground. While if the news are good people see that as a missing the train and won't buy up when it's already up 70%+ Even though it would have room to grow 10k%

Halving has been an exception on this, as it has every reason of being priced in and so far it really hasn't, at least in case of bitcoin. I wonder when that changes.
I do not believe that to be true at all. I get that it may look like it could be true, but in reality we are going to end up seeing something changing, and that should be very big deal when we are talking about it, and that is not going to end up changing anything big. So in the end, it is going to be something that we should care about, and life is not that simple and we should be careful about what we invest into.

For example, in the litecoin situation, just because we invested before the halving, doesn't mean we flipped a coin, we invested because halving makes sense, it should go up, but nobody said it should go up right away, the last halving at bitcoin was at 2020, and peak was at 2021, as you can see it may take some time.
668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Low Interest Rates Impact Bitcoin's Next Halving Price Surge? on: August 19, 2023, 03:03:22 AM
However, as far as bitcoin halving is concern, not sure if it will have a impact. Remember that the last halving we have, we are in the pandemic and yet throughout that bull run period, the price goes up despite the lockdown and the economy not moving at all during that time frame.
You've just said that lower rates would be good for the prices!
The last halving had these EFFRND:
November 2012  - 0.18
July 2016  - 0.39
May  2020 - 0.05

In all of Bitcoin's history, the previous high for effective rate was at 2.42, it's now 5.33%.
So it's highly improbable the next bull run will happen in an era of cheap money and low inflation!
Cheap money surely, but low inflation may not happen. We are still not where we want it to be and that means that we are still at a high inflation rate and that needs to go down a bit more. I understand that we need to reach to a point where it will take some time, and I think it should be considered a little different.

I get that we are going to have some trouble one way or another, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with anything good just yet, it should be a little different. I understand that it's a tough one, but it's going to be a little different in the end. Just realize that it's going to be something that will take some time to lower the inflation and be ready for it when it finally looks like recovering.
669  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Trading becomes Unfavourable on: August 18, 2023, 02:40:40 AM
We can learn more things from trading through experience but with that, losses will accompany us as well. As we begin trading, it should not be the profit that we have to think about first but instead, focusing on learning first and considering all the mistakes and losses will help us more. We can say that nobody becomes successful in trading without suffering losses and it comes with patience. And if we think it was easy, I don't think we are able to reach our goal and become successful but possibly will fail.
The money that you lose in your journey on trading can be consider as charge to experience. Most of us suffered from losses especially when we are all just starting but yeah there are people who wins on the early stage of their trading experience and I don't think it's a bad thing especially if the trader didn't became overconfident of the market and still treat the market with caution. But yeah every successful trader experience losses on trading, it's their own will that will make them continue in practicing trading.
That's purely luck, if you are winning something at the early stages of you trading then you are purely getting lucky and nothing more. You should be doing something a bit more careful at the very start and if you did something risky and ended up with a profit, that doesn't mean that you are going to keep doing that all the time, you are going to end up losing money.

Even the best veteran traders I have seen had losses here and there, because losing is something that is natural part of trading, and if you are not careful then you are going to end up with a loss that is much bigger because you trust yourself a lot more than you should. This is why earning at the very start could be even worse, because it can lead to bigger loss later on.
670  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Market Price in Respect of News on: August 17, 2023, 06:20:50 PM
News really has a huge impact on the price of bitcoin because bitcoin is an asset of value and it’s volatile nature makes everyone want to know how well or how bad it is doing. Every Bitcoiner wants to know the direction it’s moving towards so they are always on every news medium to get information about bitcoin. News influences the price of bitcoin or any cryptocurrency positive news can have impact on the price positively and likewise negative news can have a negative impact on its price. When something is not safe or when there is a problem, or maybe there is a rule that goes against bitcoin or maybe a body being introduced causes an inconvenience with the use of bitcoin, it affects bitcoin negatively and price of bitcoin will go down. Take For instance when something is wrong or maybe an exchange got hacked people are forced to sell their assets and bitcoin price will drop. Likewise when there is a positive news it will affect the price positively.
Not all news, some news may make the price move but not all news make it move at all. I think it's important to know the difference and if you are aware of the difference then you are going to be fine. There are a lot of people who are not aware of the difference and because of that they make very wrong moves. They think a news will make it go up or down, and they end up trading because of that, and then the news comes out and heard by everyone and nothing changes at all.

I think that is an important thing, there is really nothing wrong with that at all. We should be aware of the situation that would be important in the end if the news matters to the market and if it doesn't matter to the market then that news means nothing.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if its falls! Will altcoin survive? on: August 17, 2023, 05:35:20 PM
I think that will not happen, I mean not anytime soon at least. I still think that we can make a retirement plan that involves bitcoin without fear and it should be fine. However, if we plan on something like this then we could always say that you are right and alts will die too. Whatever has caused bitcoin to be zero or near zero, will not pity alts and keep them that way, they will all be gone and be zero as well, that's just how it is.

I know that it's hard to accept that, but that's the reality. It's going to be a tough situation to be in, but it's going to be fine. I hope that it gets to a point where we are talking about something unrealistic to me, like having gold go to zero, it's as unlikely as that if you ask me.
We are not going to have bitcoin crashing anytime soon, so there is no need to fear the possibility of this. We are at a point where its all doing well enough and we do not have to worry about anything at all. I understand that its going to take a while before people could realize the situation we are in, but we are getting closer to halving so the price will certainly start to go up instead.

The possibility of bitcoin going down, and altcoins following it just stays in imaginations and made up conversations, its not real and its not going to be real and talking about it only gives it life. This is why I do not think that it should be considered an important aspect, there is really nothing to worry about in this matter.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 16, 2023, 02:39:31 PM
I don't see any news related to Osimhen's contract extension. But maybe the sides are close to reaching an agreement. I assume Osimhen was waiting to see if he would get any offer from a top team this summer but there is none so far. Then as long as Napoli meet his demands he could really extend with the team.

This will help Napoli put a release clause onto his contract as it has been rumoured as well. It should be around 150-160 million euros. This would at least increase the chance of Napoli to keep Osimhen in the team for long years. Because any team would think twice before paying that much for a player.
There were some "offers" as in like enquiry about how much it would cost to get him, but as we all know Napoli put a 150+ million price tag on him, as high as 180 million with bonuses and such. Which means that we are talking about overrated player without a doubt and that's a big deal.

I think it should be considered to be something that would be a big deal, and I understand that it's not going to be that much of an easy thing for any team to pay that much for him. I get that he is a young and talented player, but paying that much for any player would be way too much, only Saudi league would be able to pay that much and I am sure he doesn't want to go there just yet. This should be the difference maker, that's why he stayed.
673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multi asset mode on: August 15, 2023, 02:26:20 PM
I have just noticed on Binance that Cardano (ADA) and Polkadot (D0T) have been delisted from their derivatives multi-asset mode. Solana which is more volatile was first delisted. The remaining ones are Bitcoin, Ether, Binance Coin and Ripple. While the other ones are stable coins like USDT, USDC, USDP, TUSD and BUSD.

The only exchange that I use for multi-asset mode is Bybit which is called unified trading account. I have been looking for another crypto exchange to trade more volatile assets that I can be able to use multi-asset mode with them or having a unified trading account. What other exchanges can you suggest?
I feel like that should be fine, it wasn't really all that interesting to me and whoever found it interesting has to just accept the situation. Binance is a company and they have to do whatever they have to do as a company and that's the important part.

I do not think that it is going to be something that would be good enough in the end, I believe that it is going to be something that matters a lot worse eventually. I just hope that we need to focus on what to do and whenever there is something that is beyond your reach like this, then you just have to find something else that you can do and that would be improvement in the end. I believe that we could potentially do something that will benefit everyone eventually.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: August 15, 2023, 05:09:32 AM
Talking about playing sneaky or cheating in gambling, I honestly immediately wondered in my mind how to do it? Moreover, it is done in an online casino, is there a kind of hack or something else? I never thought about it before, because even if we can do it, I think the casino will first know and detect that we are cheating in their game, and as a result it can have an impact on permanent account suspension.

The ability to analyze can only be done in certain gambling, like sportsbets for example, and for games like slots I don't think it works.
I think it's more about either hacking, finding a loop, or even using others as well. There are a few methods but all of them are known and I think it is going to be something that would be simple to recognize and thats why there are a lot of people who end up getting caught and they come here to complain. They keep talking about how they were right to get their money but then it is proven by the casinos that they just cheated and that turns out to be the issue.

I think it's quite important to realize that we can't do anything cheeky and end up seeing any love from the casino. If you are not following the rules then you are not going to end up with anything good and the casino will eventually catch you and take all your money.
675  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the market still profitable for new projects? on: August 15, 2023, 01:11:50 AM
I don't remember the year exactly, but we used to see good number of ico getting launched often. Nowadays those have decreased much and the new projects only valued if they have fulfilled big expectation of common people. It is always good to stand some time between us. I've seen good projects reaching the market. Everyone requests in a much simple manner and the luck also the deciding factor.
I feel like it's overdone and it's not really a good way to get rid of things. I think it's quite important to realize that we are at a stage where things going to be a bit more important than "pay them some money and they make the project" type of thing. It's just not sensible to keep it going that way, we need to change that one way or another.

It would of course mean that we are going to end up with something that changes the whole system eventually. We should stop paying people to build projects, that system can't go on, and I know that we are not going to end up with anything profitable as long as our aim is to make someone else rich, and by paying the devs to make projects, only thing we achieve is make them richer.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 14, 2023, 07:18:06 PM
I agree with you with Juventus' difficulties last season financially and the lack of youth squad, it seems to have had a positive impact on the Juventus squad this season, because their young players were able to provide very good resistance from several trial matches a few weeks ago, even though they were detained. draw by Atalanta at least it shows good development for the position of the Juventus standings for the current season, if Massimiliano Allegri can provide a great formation or play attack then the game of young Juventus players this season will be a frightening specter for Serie A clubs this season, because Juventus dare to overhaul their old squad with young players in absolutely prime condition in any case, at least it will benefit Massimiliano Allegri as a good coach and tactician.
the difficulties were really many, financial and also if we want from the point of view of justice, with all the penalties received not least exclusion from the conference league
this season is about recovery, he has to aim and enter the cups and that's it.
They will do as much as they can, it's not going to end up with anything decent one way or another and that is why they need to just focus on building the club back up more than they should focus on success. If any Juventus fans are expecting them to be champions, they are kidding themselves and that should not be the aim.

If they could finish top four that would be a magnificent increase in talent and I would agree that it would be great, but if we are talking about something like 5th of 6th and just basically go to conference league if they could, that would be the place they should be. Allows them to be going back at winning some and also getting some money as well and on the way to recovery after last year.
677  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you ever used copy trading apps on: August 14, 2023, 06:25:18 PM
Well I often see some creators advertising copy trading applications on some social media, I think this can be a good alternative for those beginners who don't want to bother with some of the steps they have to do when doing it themselves and they can use copy trading there. Well I agree, I think it's better to use our own way of trading, we can do it the way we want and it will indirectly further train our knowledge about this field. I once tried using one of the copy trading systems and at that time I got a win even though the profit was not too big, but strangely there was no satisfaction there. Although I was able to get the winnings I expected but I could not feel the satisfaction in the victory, maybe the problem is because we depend on others.
So the point is that it is better to use your own way of trading, although it is quite complicated in learning but believe me many successful traders have their own way of achieving success in the world of trading because they always learn from every mistake.
They could use it if they want to, but they should remember that it's quite important to make your own trades as well. There are way too many people who act as if they are doing something that would be single time, but the reality is that it's not that easy or understandable most of the time as well.

I think it's quite clear that we are talking about a situation where they are going to end up with a terrible result if they do not learn how to trade themselves. So even if they end up doing it, they should keep learning how to trade meanwhile in order to grow out of this one day. They should aim at being their own source, and most people who do copy trading, end up not working on themselves at all and try to improve, that's the problem.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Really Burn helps Token in positive way? on: August 14, 2023, 05:42:49 PM
Burning works on the premise that there is actual demand. It's probably not working for a lot of projects because they also have to create or manipulate the demand for the token. They often advertise aggressively by creating hype all over social media and offering new features that may or may not be useful at all. Methods like that are only good for short term.

Burns have two effects.
  • The fastest effect is on projects that are already on the hype. I mean trending projects that are always in the hot coins of every exchange. When such a project is already make a wave, the news of coin burn will surely create more demand because it is believed to trigger limited supply
  • Another effect is in the case mentioned by Op. Shiba is no longer trending and no matter how much coins the developers burn, it can only make little/no difference until the bull run approaches. The burning will give holders of the coin the conviction to keep holding and potential buyers the will to buy against the bull run.
I think second one makes more sense, because if you do burn a lot then it will have a good result, the problem is that if you do not burn a lot and just a little bit, then it's not going to matter even during the bull run. Remember, this is a token that has a ton of supply, so when you burn just a little bit of it, that doesn't change anything. I am not saying lets burn 50% of all the supply, that would be crazy and they can't do that, but burn a lot more than that to have a result as well.

It does convince people to hold, but also when there are more printed every day than what you burn, that doesn't really change much neither. So keep on burning, and burn a lot and have a daily burn if you must but I would say save it and burn big amount all at once and drop the supply amount significantly.
679  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the effect of having plenty children to the national economy of a country on: August 13, 2023, 06:45:46 PM
There is a net positive effect of having more kids in a country. It means you have more people so more capacity in production and finances. Its net increase on total purchasing power too (more people = more taxes) compared to countries with lower population. But its not something related to personal wealth of people sadly.
Having not enough children in a country may cause labor shortages which would be very bad. Most of European countries are accepting more immigrants because of labor shortage I guess.
That is both true and wrong at the same time. It's good for the national economy, it's true that you are going to end up with more profit that way as a nation because you will have a lot of people and that means if you utilize them all and unemployment is low that means there are a lot of people working and that equals to making a lot of profit at the same time.

That is why the government would rather have a lot of people, as much as possible, to make sure that the nation is producing enough for itself and also excess to sell other nations and make more money. However, when you have a bigger population, it's also harder to provide a simple life for them, even the basic needs becomes expensive and that's why it's going to hurt a lot.
680  Economy / Economics / Re: The whales stirred. What should we expect? on: August 13, 2023, 05:46:55 PM
Selling big amounts now, if you don't need fiat urgently, is really dump. And I have a feeling that  that there aren't many dumb whales left at this point. Most of them sold their coins during previous crashes, from $70k to $16k, from $20k to $3k, or even earlier. So, I don't expect a massive sell out in the next few months. But after BTC reaches $150k, it will start happening, as it alaways does.
And at this point when the price looks like its doing fine now, reached above 29.5k+ levels and the profits are on the way, if you are still selling that means you do not only sell because you are afraid, but you are selling because you want it to go down.

Whales are smarter than that and they are making as much profit as they possibly could and they will end up making more investments to end up with more profits as well. I think its quite important that we could end up with something that would be higher and they know it and they are going to go into it. Why would anyone think that whales would a chance to make profit, they are whales for a reason and that's why its quite important that they do what they could to profit.
