661  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: IMPORTANT: Ledger ConnectKit Library has been Compromised with a drainer. on: December 14, 2023, 10:24:11 PM
Would you like a little dose of conspiracy theory? Smiley

After this compromise, Ledger will definitely release new firmware for their devices (they can’t help but do this), into which you can integrate any program code directed against the interests of ledger owners (like even more tracking and obtaining personal data or even gaining complete control over their means).

Horror story (they could have pulled this off a long time ago).

But seriously, what can I say. Ledger screwed up again. Happens. I mean, it has happened more than once. We weren't surprised at all. I wonder what the next fakap will be?
I honestly wonder why wouldn't they be liable for losses. They are a private company making money, and only reason they exist is because people trust their product safety.
I am sure that there are some disclaimers for something like this in their small print but i don't think that would legally cover for losses that happens because of exploit of their product.

Sure, everyone is responsible for their own money in crypto, but i think this goes to gray area on liability. I guess we have to wait and see. Anyway, this was bad news.
662  Economy / Economics / Re: One of the biggest problem in our society is that average person don't have on: December 13, 2023, 11:58:04 PM
Average person don't have access to capital flow.
And cryptocurrency should be working that way like the average person so everybody can have access to capital and make wealthy themselfes and family.
Now If you go to the bank to ask money even If they see you have good skills good knowledge they still don't give you If you not meet the criteria of requirements.
But to meet with those requirements it's allmost impossible. (The game is rigged)
And even If you get the funds you pay back with high % you end up just working for those who got money it's humilation but all they have done is just they been born into right family the upper class to get good education so they can be privileged and If you meet with them and talk many of them  they are not genius at all but what they have in common is that they want to get profit from someone else hard work and they can do that only because they are the very few people who got access to capital and most of the people don't.

I happened to watch "dragon den" show i see that people there they acting like big hedge funds does it so they just looking for people who want to be working for them for just little money what they offering so all those talented people will do the hard work and top on that they agree to get humilated on tv and then they will be working for capitalists, it's always easy to do business If you have access to capital and money that's the key to keep you poor.
With cryptocurrency everybody can access to endless liquity and finances and that's nice the average person without education or even financial background can earn money here without rigged rules or restrictions.

Let's cut the long story short the system doesn't serve us the way we can be wealthy.
Cryptocurrency is here no restrictions no limits and only your imagination how much you can earn.

This is not how money or wealth works. In capitalism, people don't "deserve" to be funded because they are talented. Money is not something fair, nor is society. You can be totally narcissistic and evil and be tthe richest man in the world. That's how capitalism works. And even those rich people can lose money by investing, and if they would invest percentually high amount in relation to their wealth. they can lose everything as well. Also crypto is not here to make everyone rich or wealthy. It can make some people wealthy who enter at the right time. It also can get people rekt when they enter in the wrong coin at the wrong time.

Wealth in the world has a cap, so not everyone can be rich. Whole richness would lose meaning when everyone had their equal share. So if you want that, you don't want to be rich or money. You just want decent living conditions and life quality. That you can achieve with some different system than capitalism. If you start to talk about distributing wealth. That wouldn't mean distributing capital flow as that's only a form of wealth, that would most likely break down instantly when everyone got their share of it. Even in social democracy, distribution of money flow isn't even nearly equal. That's still mostly capitalism.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of NFTs have a market cap of zero on: December 13, 2023, 11:06:55 PM
Will this change when the bull run comes? Seems that the altcoins market is ripening and rich again but I don't know what's with the NFT scene if they're flourishing and going back to what they used to be. If there's no movement at all even in the bull run and that 95% remains the same for the majority of the NFTs then, it just means that there is no hope anymore from them and they're likely dead at all as people look forward for another place to invest into this market aside from btc and alts.
You might as well ask will this change to altcoins, because there are percentually and numerically way more dead altcoins then there are dead NFTs. Nfts just feel more stupid because there are often stupid pics linked into them, and liquidity sucks. But same could be said about most altcoins. If whale wants to exit, liquidity in many of them will not be enough to sustain the price level without flooring -90%.

Imho people making fun of nfts are like nocoiners making fun of crypto holders. Principle is the same. Focusing on the negative is easy because there are ton of things to point at. But i can't see any reason why same percentage of nfts wouldn't rise with altcoins. Dead nfts most likely stay dead, just like most dead alts stay dead.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wojak - Meme Coin on: December 13, 2023, 10:18:14 PM
Hello,

what do you think about the Wojak Coin and what is your price prediction?
-cut-
Well basically why not. It's as good as any meme token out there and that seems to be enough for some people so i am not going to try to shame them for buying it or even liking it.
I don't have any feelings about it so i don't hate it. Price prediction for something like this isn't possible really. It reminds me of gambling and outcome depends on various things. Most of those things i can't verify as team could promise anything and abandon the project next day.

I honestly wish good luck to you, even i don't understand why anyone would want to gamble with random, year old meme token that seems overvalued with over 10 million marketcap to be honest. Unless they have something spectacular cooking behind the curtains. Which i doubt.
665  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 🎄Xmas Sleigh Race for $800 000 | 🎁Collect gifts all the way! on: December 12, 2023, 11:04:17 PM
Well , my Experience in these cases has always told me a lot what they want, because when I see that a casino does things like this, it is because they are not really interested in the token or that it goes up in price, because they are not that style , We are at the point where bitcoin reaches a new maximum point, and they have not done anything, where they had the initiative to move the token forward and we already had Competitions, trading Competitions, things like that because it is very well known that when It's about doing Better things like, for example , bringing it to a new price of ATH for the token itself, because they don't see the initiative, and that's sad because one as a person always looks for how to put things in Perspective to see if they work , You can give them some money, anyone who is in a casino and is given the opportunity to buy tokens is thinking that that price will give them good benefits , otherwise no one in life would buy tokens, unless they are an enthusiast and like it have toekns saved.

This casino has personally Disappointed me Greatly, and I have many Friends who always ask me about casinos, and it is a shame not to be able to recommend them, because what they have done, what they have demonstrated, is because they have no commitment to the casino. community, and that is something that should not be, because to be successful in the casino, in the market you must have a lot of Community, that community that supports the Projects and whatever the casino proposes because the Community will support them , but Who will want to support a casino when they are not even able to respond to the people here ? With what gnas is this casino Recommended? with anyone, because it means making you lose money, and making someone lose money, for what? I always recommend Reliable casinos, such as stake.com,  bitcasino.io , duelbits , Among others, they are casinos that do Measure up to be able to Recommend them and they are not going to hurt you.
I hear you and totally agree with you. I used to be hyped because i was mining those tokens, but in the back of my head i saw something like this coming. I didn't want to believe it as i really hoped that they had a plan. Yet they kept evading my questions which i admid made me angry. In fact the whole communication from the start made me angry. Starting from their admins slowly giving access to the tokens, yet giving themselves a heads start, dumping the overpriced tokens and bragging about it. I was lucky to make some of my mining money back before the price totally tanked.

But it's the past and we can't fix it. They could fix their future, but if we can learn somthing from the past, they just keep on this track forever. They might try to sell us an idea of fixing the concept, but it will most likely be all smoke and mirrors. They don't care because why should they. Bull run is coming and holders will be losing unless there will be some kind of casino token boom and every casino token rises. I can't recommend this site either and i am regretting i got some of my friends in early. They lost a lot just because of blind trust to me.
666  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sherbet.com - $1,000 USD + 20 FS Welcome Package - 24/7 Support - Weekly Race 🤑 on: December 12, 2023, 10:17:00 PM

This kind of stuff should be open to the public.  A casino must declare their wagering requirement in order to make the public not confused or blame them of insufficient information making some issues between the casino and the player.

Oftentimes, the player feels betrayed or cheated when something that is not written on the mechanics becomes the source of misunderstanding like the wagering requirement to say that the funds are already owned by the player.

I feel like some casinos are not revealing their wagering requirement for Bonus packages to not discourage players from claiming.  I can understand that but isn't it much better if the player knows all the information beforehand without inquiring with the support staff?  This will give the player a better option of choices whether they will go after the bonus package or just play normally.  it will also minimize the confusion and misunderstanding between the player and the casino since information is already given from the start.
Weird, i thought this would be a minor issue and maybe something i missed on ToS and public info, but i guess i am not depositing. Too bad as i have only few days to do it after registration too.
Even OP visited here and ignored this. I guess they usually don't listen, but at least people who play there should know.

But luckily 20 free spins with .20 bet wouldn't bring that much money that i would regret not trying. 2x deposit bonus would have been nice though.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bonk, AIDOGE or VET on: December 12, 2023, 08:18:43 PM
Hello,
Which is your choice from the list below?
  • Bonk
  • AIDOGE
  • VET
Please tell me briefly and with the reason.

Thank you.
How are these 3 comparable by any metric? First 2 are hyped and airdropped meme tokens without a purpose. And third one was overhyped china coin that back in day had some promise, but after a while it was obvious that china will not let that one fly. They have their own "blockchain" which they are using for control. Vet had some idea, but crumbles because no real company wants that level of open transparency and china's goverment doesn't allow privacy. Even if they build it again it's failed alrady.

I had the worst experience in one casino so i decided to ask this:

What exactly are the terms for first deposit bonus? Do i need to play my deposit amount how many times, in order to withdraw winnings? I mean is 100% enough or do i need to play 100% of the bonus too? And what about the money i get from free spins? Am i free to withdraw that or do i have to wager more to actualize that as free money that too?

I would assume this isn't as complicated as i am preparing for, but i got tricked by last obscure casino i tried bonuses with.
669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you wrap up your gambling session? on: December 11, 2023, 06:06:50 PM
Have you wrapped up every session you mean you allocate specific hours on your session and to hit the hour where you should log off you made a wrap-up of your session even though you still have a huge bankroll like you spend 30 minutes wrapping up your bets.
I usually spend 20 minutes going down to my excitement level so when I log out I feel more relaxed

How about you do you wrap up your sessions and how many minutes or hours and do you think it's ok to do a wrap-up?

I wrap up my session after a big win, or after i have used my daily budget. I have daily budget now instead of monthly or weekly budget. This way i don't need to wait a week if i blow my weekly budget in one day, or even worse, wait 29 or so days when i blow my monthly gaming budget in first day. This makes me bet smaller sums (if i am not winning big), but i don't mind as it's not just for winnings to me. It's a fun past time and daily budget reminds me of my goals.

I don't have any time limit for myself. I just use free time that's best suited for gambling. Only rule is that gambling can't come before family events or over anything i've pre-planned or promised to others. Rest of it if me time, and for me to use as i please. If i want to use that for gambling, it's ok.

Is maximum supply for Betfury token 3.65 billion or there is unlimited supply?

I ask because on coinmarketcap it dont write if there is maximum supply it just writes this : --

Total emission: 5 000 000 000 BFG

Everything is mined already and 5B was the original amount minus burned tokes, so it's more like 3.65 billion now (in both circulation and maximum supply), how ever it's changing by burnings. But we don't know for how long that happens. They might stop it after 50% is burned, or after all team tokens is burned, or just without warning start the mining again. We don't have a clue what they are up to. However max supply (which is also circulating supply for now) is going to reduce for a while.

So yes, you can do go to the gaming commission and ask yourself to be ban. I know a guy that has been banned, but he didn't do it himself, his wife did. The wife call the casinos and describe his husband and obviously his identification.

And then he told me that he was surprised when he go to a casino and that he was stop and was banned from entering. Later he found out that his wife is the one responsible because that time he was really addicted to that point that he is playing money that did not belong to him (he was a government employee that time).
I didn't know this would apply in physical casinos as well but now when i think about it, why not.

But i am sure people can fly under a radar in some countries and play with smaller sums even if they excluded themselves. This wouldn't fly here in finland as these days as every player needs to do kyc via strong authentication via bank via online banking credentials etc. But i am fairly certain that most countries in the world aren't here yet. But they most likely will be as they are part of same kind of groups that are enforcing FATF rules. So enjoy your freedom while you still can. Not that this is all gloomy. At least i won't lose my winnings by losing a lottery ticket now.

672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto exchange HTX sees outflows top $258M following exploit on: December 11, 2023, 04:03:50 PM
Much better.
People are learning from past experiences and also the alarm that's been seen with the exploit that has happened to them. Whether we like it or not, and how many times we keep on reminding them to not make these exchanges be a storage of their assets. Still, with these outflows, we see that there are still a lot of people that are keeping their holdings on them. They're not going to move it unless some big bad news of exploits and bankrupts come. If they're not following the news around then for sure that they'd keep most of their assets there until an announcement of possible no refund policy can happen.
How is that good? It's just distrust for services. People withdrawing money because they are scared of losing it, and fear is not good for adoption. Trust is.

And this is not CEX vs DEX. Dexes and bridges get hacked all the time. In fact it's quite telling that new multi million dollar hack is barely in headlines anymore. And markets need to absorb those, and by doing that they are laundering money and that's just more ammo for regulators to tax us to ground. Or even to shut down. And before people say that crypto can't be shut down, they might be right, but regulators can drive the price and liquidity to grave from here, just by choosing right actions. This depends on several things, but constant hacks doesn't help adoption in any way.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: December 11, 2023, 12:35:00 AM
Everybody lose on slots unfortunately no matter who they are,the slots are so addictive that rarely the slot lovers can quit them and as soon as you can't quit them you will lose money in the short and long term.Even if you hit that max win you will spend it in a such a fast way that you will keep losing no matter what you are able to do with your money.

That is why it is recommended that people stop playing slots otherwise they will lose money in the longer term and there is no coming back from playing slots,do not be deceived by those guys showing you the streams where they win as they are playing with sponsored money so quit as long as you are able to as once you jump in the wagon of slot addiction there is no turning back.

There is a small, tiny fraction of people who actually get the big win from time to time.

That's what makes it attractive to many people, the chance, the hope of winning it.
Yeah, you nailed the idea. It's similar with lottery. You often hear the lottery winners, because they are a story, special enough to be told. Everyone wants hope and as everyone has same opportunity, it feels possible and fair to win jackpot, even if it's unlikely. But in comparison, if you put a story of every single player that lost in lottery in a story. That story wouldn't be possible to read by anyone as it would be so long.

I wouldn't however tell anyone to stop playing just because winning is rare. That's why the jackpots are big in the first place. If winning would be easy, casinos would not have any money to give.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: December 09, 2023, 05:23:36 PM
yes, downside is usually much bigger than upside in this games
there are strategies and all but if one is not interested on it then probably better to stay away or just play with really small money knowing that the chances to lose it all are big.
setting expectations low does amazing things for our lives.
That's why i try to keep emphasis on fun past time, instead of wishing i would win something. In that case i am always happily surprised to win, when i am not waiting that it should be my turn to win already. My style to gamble varies on how much free time and interest i have in my hand, and sometimes i get bored waiting for the perfect game to bet on, and bet on anything. That's when i start to lose my streak. Playing demo slots is a decent alternative, and i like how it doesn't (at least it looks like it doesn't) give me more money just because it's in demo mode, and it can take my money as well, even if it's just monopoly money. But that's for slots. Gambling on sports doesn't really have that.

I sometimes try new systems with spreadsheets and pretending to bet and try to win several bets, but i haven't found a system that would be profitable enough in a long run. I am fairly certain that system doesn't exist, but it doesn't keep me from trying.
675  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: December 09, 2023, 05:08:53 PM
Shuffle's slots? Total disaster. The win rate's basically zero. 'Region-locked' games? Can't play half of 'em. First time depositing? Prepare to fill in loads of info. Managed to win with their 'bonuses'? Suddenly, you're gagged in the chat. You reach out to their support, and they take two days to get back to you. Then they hit you with 'You've got multiple accounts', and bam, your account's shut down. All your effort? Wasted. All that KYC you did? Worthless. The whole platform's a trap. Their events, promos? Nothing but lures, a massive trap!
Too bad you had this experience, but losing you money on slots games and blaming casino on that is just weird. Why wouldn't you assume that you would lose? Why were you surprised? And how exactly were you gagged in the chat? What was the message when you were typing something? Did you insult someone before that?

If you had multiple accounts, it would cancel any bonuses, and would probably take more time to respond as they need to double check it. It's really hard for us to confirm you wouldn't have done that. But shuffle team might have details on that. They couldn't publish that data in here, but i am sure they will have it safe if someone is suing them over a bonus.

If you have some sort of proof of any of being scammed, maybe open up a scam accusation in scam accusations thread.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there so much interest in popular cryptocurrencies? on: December 09, 2023, 04:57:54 PM
Why does the cryptocurrency world focus so much on highly capitalized projects, to the detriment of more promising and lesser-known ones?

Perhaps one reason is inertia - to stay with recognized, established projects instead of taking risks with young ideas. However, even with a low profile, projects like Cogitex, for example, can provide openness and transparency in their every action, which is often not enough in the world of cryptocurrencies.

Cogitex represents an innovative approach to artificial intelligence and space exploration, promising to break new ground. The question is how much the community is willing to pay attention to such projects, despite their current status.

What is more important to you in the world of cryptocurrencies - their prominence or their potential to make a real impact on the industry?
Because they are highly recognized, highly advertised by large communities. Small caps get their attention too but it divides and distributes among many of them. If one small marketcap coin would get same amount of attention as one high marketcap coin, it wouldn't be low in marketcap value for a long time. Also from what i gather, many newcomers don't really understand what market capitalization is. They just see the list of "top" coins and think they are ranked in some sort of "best altcoin" category. So they pick some of the top 10. And since there are ton of community behind them, there will be enough shillers to convert more "believers".

What's important to me has changed over time. These days it's the team behind the coin or token. I need to have faith that i won't get rugged overnight, so it's easier for me to keep my money in those bags.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: December 09, 2023, 04:26:08 PM
maybe solana is one of the altcoins that I will not buy again, imagine from a position of $240 down to $16, it really doesn't make sense, who controls this coin to such a price, great project but when it goes down it's like a shitcoin. although now the price is going up, last time I looked at $62 I wouldn't be interested in this coin any more. very disappointing.
Solana ATH is about $259, the current price is $62,9. I think Solana price has increased quite well in the last few months. If it ever dropped to $16, it was normal because the price drop could be very significant during the bearish season, specifically if there was bad news about the coin. I think you have no strong reason to judge Solana be a shit project. Solana has a good fundamental and it becomes the top 10 coins now. It doesn't make sense to judge Solana as a bad coin because the price ever dropped significantly.  Undecided
Ihmo solana had unreasonable amount of fear included because it was endorsed by SBF, and because ftx/sam had large bags of it, so obviously everyone panicked about the dump. Solana itself was a victim by association, and had way more severe blows then it deserved. But then again, solana wasn't only one and could have easily failed with others without the connection. Just because or overall crypto bearmarket.

Rising back to $60 frankly surprised me and rises hopes on investors. As if sol can raise after that, most of them can and probably will.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe you can win on sports betting by analyzing a betting lines only? on: December 09, 2023, 03:53:51 PM
When I say 'line,' I am referring to the spreads or handicap of a certain team in the game. Through my years of experience, I have noticed that putting effort into analyzing the team's statistics and other factors, such as news and rumors, does not significantly affect my chances of winning.

I got this belief now that bookmakers are already knowledgeable about these aspects, and they take them into consideration when establishing a betting line for a specific game.

How about you? Do you share the same perspective or not?
By my understanding and just using just common sense, any profitable angle i come up with, i can pretty much be sure that someone else has tried, or is trying it as well, and bookmarkers are way ahead of us, as they must think every possible exploit and system to try to beat them. Because that's coming from their living hood if someone cracks the code of "infinity money making machine" via gambling.

You might get a slightly better edge with some specific info, you are familiar with, and it most likely affect your changes of winning, but those are most likely counted into the odds already.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana airdrops speculation on: December 09, 2023, 03:43:34 PM
If anyone staked 10 sol before snapshot date (nov 25), you would have received about 5k jito, worth about $10k at current price.

You can find more tokenless protocols here: https://defillama.com/airdrops?chain=Solana
And right after i was talking with people who hunted airdrops this year, They sounded defeated that there won't be any cool airdrops anymore, that those days are over and one in a million change to get a good one.

Obviously it is. No one has money to put into every project, staking and trading etc in hopes of hitting right snapshot date and getting something back. It's pure luck or you need to know the people who are organizing the airdrop. i am guessing my friends missed out this too. I still won't be hunting airdrops myself, even though it's almost as tempting as gambling. But i feel with gambling i have better odds. I just trust that i'll get some from projects i am using passionately,
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I've learned so far as a gambler on: December 09, 2023, 11:28:51 AM
casino was not created to make you rich overnight. But if you insist in playing more, you might end up emptying your account just to try recovering from the loss, and this greed is one of the major problem most gamblers have.
that's what gambling management made, to reduce risk and manage you mentally to play more and more over time. Let's just think the gambling as a game that will make you happy, don't burdening your life to increase your wealth from gambling, because it seems mission impossible especially if the player is still newly registered and directing it from referral. I think it's a global problem, and comprehensive if a new person in the gambling world just thinks of multiplying his capital in 1 night.

They will make you win at the first time and I think that's what makes it more inviting. Just recently, I won like 10x of my capital even though I am betting just small amounts. I was also shocked at how it happened because I was expecting to lose all the time. But, when you keep on betting, gambling sites will definitely take it back without us realizing it because our aim is to just get our money back.
-cut-
I've considered this too, as sometimes i feel like winning from the start, but i think this is just confirmation bias, as this theory breaks down to the fact, it would be easy confirm just by making enough statistics about it, and all you would need would be a control group and a spread sheed.

And if this would be true, why wouldn't people just start with playing 100x bets of what they are used to and make a bank and move on to another casino? Because there are enough casinos out there to make you rich even if you only make gains at the start.

And if we we suspect that it wouldn't work because it works only small bets, we have to remember that small is relative amount, that 100x of our small bet is a small bet for a whale and mechanisms should work for them too, otherwise they won't make sense. Casinos want to collect wealthy people to gamble, so that would be their target group if they wanted to use this tactic, giving wins at the start to small people would not worth it. Given that casinos are constantly audited and if they got caught, there would be some serious consequences.
