There is an interesting news for PCB and cricket fans in Pakistan as NZ confirmed that they will tour twice in 2022-23 to make up for the recent cancelled tour to Pakistan. Its good news for PCB but they must ask NZ not to do anything silly like they did last time. Since it will greatly destroy there repute.

New Zealand to tour Pakistan twice in 2022-23 to make up for postponed series.

The popularity of NFTs can be seen from the fact that melaina trup wife of ex President of USA is going to launch and NFT with her own painting. President Trump was not in favor of crypto when he was in power but deep down in his heart he knows its a valuable thing. Thats why her wife is launching an NFT.

2021 was clearly the year of NFTs and many have recognized it. There are many more to come after Maleina trump, just hold your breath. With rise in popularity of NFTs there will be dire need for decentralized storage also, a short coming many have ignored so far. CATA jumping in this side at very early stage, this will be edge for them.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MASS] Decentralized HARD DRIVE mining cryptocurrency | PoC | Low Energy cost on: December 20, 2021, 01:21:39 PM
PoC is no doubt a great consensus algorithm. It has feature like its resilient to ASIC technology which restrict it from centralisation and energy monopolies, support multiple blockchain instances in parallel and as secure as PoW. It because of this feature MASS has gained so much success in such short span of time

MASS market is going down, may be its days are numbered. The main reason for this downfall is that there wasnt much update coming about MASS on social media and BTC is going down also. Its not stopping rather continuously going down and down. Let it get stable at some place then you can think of buying it. just wait.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: December 20, 2021, 01:12:45 PM
Market is going down slowly but steadily. We dont know whether its correction or 2018 like dumping. There is fear at this point, but thats the point for which Buffet said "buy when everyone fears to buy". These is still trading going on, while many are selling there coins at loss and same are bought by someone else. What about BOOM? is it safe to buy this coin?
686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your worst mistake on: December 20, 2021, 01:08:28 PM
My worst mistake was keeping my coins at one wallet. When that wallet was hacked, all my coins along with my hard work gone. It was a life time lesson that "never place all your eggs in one basket". It was terrible mistake, I wish I could have avoided that. But done is done, we have to keep moving. Learn from your mistakes rather then cursing them.

CATA is providing a complete decentralized storage system that provide scalable storage functionality for the upper Blockchain Systems and Dapps through Minerva Layer. The minerva Layer is most interesting part of CATA, its a data query engine built that has three components: Qri- the data management tool, Drill- the distributed query engine, and IPFS- the storage backend.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC halving party is over, MASS PoC takes you back to ten years ago on: December 16, 2021, 06:20:22 PM

You may wait as price of bitcoin is taking correction and it seems that alt coins will also take a break. Let the price sink more then you may buy. If you have faith and trust in MASS then keep a close eye on that coin as surely it is available at discounted price. How much discount you want is upto you.

Dont wait more, just buy now if you are looking to invest in MASS now. You wont get low price which is available right now. MASS has find a support at 0.03$ and its rebounding from here. I am gathering MASS as I am sure it will touch 0.5$ very soon. As bitcoin is stable and looking for another bull run.
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MASS is profitable and Cheap to mine ... Here is why? on: December 16, 2021, 06:16:30 PM
If you see volume and price chart of MASS then they all are in motion. today price went up by 20%. I am sure MASS will take a break by reaching 0.3$ from here. Still the price is very attractive to add this token in your portfolio. There is very little risk in buying MASS at such low price, it wont go down from here.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: December 16, 2021, 06:11:53 PM
BOOM is such a huge project but still its twitter page is silent for months. That may be one reason why this coin is not making progress in terms of price rise. In crypto world, social media are main source from where traders seek info and every coin keep its social media active. Can OP tell why you are not active there?

Not to forget this coin is on few popular exchanges also like MXC and bitmart. I have a question, if a transaction takes place at exchange then BOOM blockchain is capable of detecting that transaction and burning BOOM token as a result? If the answer to this is YES then how many months or years will take to down the supply of BOOM tokens.

Before Manchester United and Tottenham win in the next match, Arsenal can enjoy more time to relax in the long-awaited 4th position in the standings. Despite the opportunity to be evicted by the two teams above, Arsenal's success should be appreciated by fans.

Arsenal have been through a bad period at the start of the season and now they have managed to put in an impressive performance compared to the other teams who are below 4th place. So let them breathe easy in that position for a while.

A win by Manchester United and Tottenham in there next match may clinch 4th slot from Arsenal. As both Manchester United (played 16 matches) and Tottenham (played 14 matches) have won 8 matches in . Arsenal performance is mixture of win and lose this season. In there last 5 encounters, they have lost 2 matches while won 3.

By the way do we need cricket to include in the Olympics ? The only benefit I see is that it will reach to a broader audience and some new countries might show interest in playing this game.

So who is the next captain of Indian T20 cricket team  who have the courage to lead the team Smiley

Of course we need to see cricket in Olympics, it will be good for cricket. There are only 10 test playing countries right now, performance of SL, WI and Bangladesh is very much down. If we have more teams then pool of strong teams will increase and we can see some quality cricket all over the year. IMO big-3 are not in favor of more nations to join in.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 16, 2021, 09:20:31 AM
Am surprised to see no one here discussing Kohli's revelations earlier today. Was stunned to find out that the new captain of the Indian ODI team is Rohit and was even more surprised that Kohli found out about it hours before the announcement.

In my opinion, Rohit should be allowed to captain the T-20 team while Kohli should be allowed to captain the ODI and test teams. This is the optimal solution.

Treating Kohli who has achieved so much for his country in this manner is seriously messed up. Won't be surprised if he gets replaced by Rohit as the test captain sometime in the near future.

T20 and ODI goes hand in hand, majority of teams have same captain for ODI and T20. As both formats are about fast cricket. If Rohit is named captain for T20 then its obvious he will lead ODI squad also. As far as Kohli is concerned, he is not treated well by BCCI. He must be taken into confidence before making such a decision.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 16, 2021, 09:15:21 AM
Tour in doubt as Hope, Hosein and Greaves among five more positive for Covid-19 in West Indies camp.
CWI and PCB to hold meeting to determine fate of tour after all remaining touring party members have been tested again

Now they are left with 14 players to choose for there ODI and T20 squad. Can ICC allow CWI to send more players as replacement of these covid infected players? is there any such policy in place where new players can replace squad that is on tour. I think CWI has no players of international level to replace these covid infected players.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 16, 2021, 09:09:42 AM

Australia should have learned from the first match. We saw England's weak batting in the first innings of the previous match. Australia did not start well. If they lose Warner's wicket in the first session, they will go after the pressure. Warner made 15 off 57 balls and Labuschange made 10 off 38 balls. Perfect test batting.

Aus doing very good so far. They have lost only one wicket and manage to score 130 runs in 54 overs. They are doing justice with there batting, warner 67 of 141 balls and Marnus 55 of 163 balls. Warner is good in adopting the format very well, he just came from T20 WC and now batting perfectly in test. Anderson and Braud so far just manage to get 1 wicket.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 15, 2021, 09:28:30 AM

I think the last T20 match between these two teams was competitive. Although Pakistan scored 172 runs but remember West Indies also chased well and ended up in 163 runs. They lost only by 9 runs and it is not a big margin. We cannot say that Pakistan will white wash the series. I think WI will play well in the 3rd T20 and the series may end up 2-1.

Pakistan is in really good T20 form since they started there T20 WC campaign this year. Its not easy for this new WI side to compete with such a strong team. Still there performance in 2nd T20 is very encouraging which will boast there moral for the final T20 and the ODI series coming up next. WI main aim right now will be to avoid white wash.

Agree here with you in this case because not even we have in cricket, we have many examples in other sports as well because I was reading in few blogs there are few coaches those never play these games but now doing great skills and having outstanding results as it need some good and different level mind and here in subcontinent have nothing like this in coaches mostly are just copying western points and giving their duties.

There are very few names of coaches that have outstanding international cricket record. I never saw Ravi Shastari taking portfolio of Coach at any level, don't know what makes BCCI to give him this job. BCCI normally appoints foreigner coach and same holds true for PCB. Lets see how far Rahual Dravi goes.

Quote
Recently few cricketers are now starting coaching which is good for this game as they have very bright ideas and skills with this all surely cricket is going to be better as we require some innovative things for having some different results and interesting games for fans as well.

Also there are few international cricketers in umpiring as well Kumar Dharmasena an SL all-rounder and Paul Reiffel an Aus fast bowler.

@Sithara007 I don’t understand why every few days we discuss cricket and Olympics again and again, because there’s been no new development that we know about. Lastly I personally feel that this topic should be revived when there’s some actual news which says that it’ll be included, and till then let’s halt repeated discussions on this topic.

I do agree with you there is no point in discussing cricket and Olympics. Cricket is not going in Olympics for at-least next 10 to 15 years (case closed).

Meanwhile Virat Kohli at press conference on Wednesday said, I was informed about my removal as ODI captain just one-and-a-half hours before the selection of squad for South Africa. (source)

He also told that he himself resigned from T20 captaincy.

Furthermore, David Warner will not be resting in the 2nd test and he will play even though he had the damaged rib. I remember that warner did not field in the second innings of the 1st test match. I don't understand why Australians need to play him even though he is not fully fit.
This decision may be beneficial to England  Huh

Similar mistake was made by England by giving chance to injured Ben stokes in first test and he was not able to perform. Its better to include a fit average player in playing 11 then to include an injured good player. Meanwhile Jhye Richardson will replace injured Josh Hazlewood in 2nd test at Adelaide.
If Aussies are going with injured Warner in 2nd test then surely it will benefit England.
