681  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sherbet.com - $1,000 USD + 20 FS Welcome Package - 24/7 Support - Weekly Race 🤑 on: January 03, 2024, 05:49:02 AM

We have a challenge that will end in the next two days. Don't miss it  Wink
Sherbet.com 🍭Weekly Challenge | Round#2.2 | Prize Pool $250 in BTC
Round 1 prize has not been distributed yet and Round 2 is about to end. Please settle the Round 1 prize so that we can participate in Round 2. I don't understand why the distribution of prizes is consistently delayed; it always takes a week to settle. Sorry for being in a hurry. I don't have any problems with your casino. I just really want to play and participate in round 2. 🤪
I think the approach of launching these new rounds should change going forward, a new round should only open after previous rounds have been settled to avoid any confusion and also preserve their reputation of which they have done a good job to build their name around the forum...

Well I have a different experience. My first withdrawal with this site was instant and didn't require KYC. Also, it was a 50$ withdrawal.
When it comes to withdraws these guys are quite good and I commend them for that! And hope they stick to these standards 👏👏

Its been more than a week for the 1st round (over a year LOL) and I have not received the prize yet, so the 2nd round might need to wait longer unless they decide to send the prize for both 1st and 2nd round at the same time soon.
Rounds payment will be sent end of this week. Most probably between on next Sunday to Monday.
Payments come in next week great, hope round 1 and round 2 will be settled together to clear the backlog...
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 02, 2024, 06:21:35 PM
Experts gambling predictions can mean anything....
for example someone who spends more time trying to analyse games and find the best ones for that particular day is someone I can believe as tipping services do exist and are reall, but if the person claims to have fixed matches at the expense of we users paying for this service screams scam and such users shouldn't be entertained as the risk is with us and not the so called experts!!
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: January 02, 2024, 03:45:16 PM
I almost thought I missed some crucial points when I saw the red icon beside Salah, thinking he won't play against Newcastle later today.
I hate what these guys do with marking players as not going to play, but go on to play full 90 minutes, it's ridiculous...makes me wonder who provides this information to them!!!

Otherwise glad I gambled on Sallah to play despite that first scare of missing a penalty and redeemed himself with 2 goals and an assist, couldn't be any happier but still trailing in the pool Tongue

Maybe it was just a bad week for defenders in general.
Was a fan of playing more defenders in my team, but realised we have fewer cleansheets going round this season, and would advocate for the 3-5-2 formation for better results.

My review on play store :

App works great and moving from the desktop app to mobile is seamless which Is a big+. Other features  available such as AI use is a bonus and the best part about it is that it's free for all, and available is a cryptos wallet which allows users to create virtual cards for your online purchases, all in all this a great app 🎄👍🥳

Hope this is the right place for review submissions...

686  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Ithiopia bankrupted? on: January 01, 2024, 04:33:29 PM
Anyways,  Cryptocurrency has become very popular in African continent. It is the third fastest-adopting continent in terms of cryptocurrency. Can cryptocurrency help Ithioia and Africa  to get rid of poverty?
Unfortunately bitcoin is not some kind of magic money lying around that exists for everyone and waiting to be taken...to have Bitcoin needs money and if money isn't available to buy the BTC then the poverty won't miraculously go away...what these countries need are the basics first such as Education to improve literacy levels then the technolog can be leveraged to improve personal lives  and continent at large...

~snip~

Same thing happened to Sri Lanka a country once a very good place to live as well. most of these countries get loans to develop infrastructure not to produce goods. Production economy is a must if you wanna sustainable economy.
Agreed, the problem isn't about borrowing but where this money is being invested which has been done wrongly by many countries hence the defaults!!!

It's about time these loans came with terms and conditions for these countries to have access by channeling these monies towards something that will help generate revenue and not go towards consumption or non fixed assets that became a liability over time as they require maintenance etcetera...
687  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: January 01, 2024, 03:18:36 PM
These responsible gambling pointers given in the OP kind of sound like ways to avoid gambling addiction..and don't get me wrong as this can apply to "responsible gambling"

Btw, things such as setting a budget and taking breaks are all ways of managing gambling habits that should prevent
one from turning into an addict, but I guess there is a thin line between the twoa after all Roll Eyes

Otherwise to add on this, risk management  which is setting a budget, not chasing your losses and not going into debt because of gambling should help one be a responsible gambler Cool

689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Must you lose before you gain in Bitcoin investment? on: January 01, 2024, 08:51:32 AM
Questions like this has popped out in several occasions and arguments concerning Bitcoin investment. My friends will say you must lose before you gain or rather have more experience investing in Bitcoin. If its how it work, Bitcoin isn't for a low income earner as well as not gonna make you rich when you can't invest something tangible to it.
Must you lose before you gain ? Well my answer to this answers the question that follows, and this is kind of a Yes and No answer... beginners luck could happen and get away without losing but losing at first try means you have the experience and know how to handle the next trade in terms of patience and emotional control...

Must you have experience ? For the long game I believe this is something one needs to have gone through to avoid emotional breakdowns in the future....

On the other hand people are been made big and wealthy in same program. What does it in tell, cos am quite sure people had already known what's going to happen in the market in the nearest future to give them the strong mindset to invest porously. My biggest fear is losing my hard earn to something as volatile, vulnerable and uncertain as btc. What's the possibility you invest without losing. Is it guaranteed in this kinda market?
Honestly, like any other new industry that has turned out successful, all the early birds do catch the worm afaik ...and fyi those that invested first have been paid a 1000X their investments if they didn't sell early which teaches us that a bit of risk and patience pays off ...if you invest with fear I don't think you playing the long game, any small profits means jumping out of the markets  Tongue

We have 1x Hero and 3x Sr Member slots. Feel free to apply now.

I think they were not looking for a Legendary Member. There was an opening for Hero and Sr Members only. Apparently, a hero slot has been filled by @Coin_trader already.

I'm wondering why you didn't respond to the other campaign (Bets.io) of LM when you were accepted as Hero Member. Not sure if you read it, or you've receive a PM about it.
There is no harm in trying, and besides them applying means they don't mind getting a slot of any of the available vacancies...whatever the case manager's choice  Cool

And have a Happy New Year  Wink
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shuffle.com ⚽ 🏈 Sports Betting Contest Discussion | Round 1 live on: December 31, 2023, 03:25:08 PM
Rumour has it that the next contest could be an accumulator battle and just incase this happens we might not have the time to ask some of these questions and here is mine....

When it comes to duplicate bets, is it going to be possible to place a bet in the form of (A, X¹) and (C,X²) X representing a game with different markets that a player gets say Full time winner and other market being a handicap bet..will this count as a duplicate bet or both stand as a valid bet towards multi bet battle?

Otherwise whichever comes our way, am game to play either single bets contest or an accumulator battle Cool

696  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: December 30, 2023, 07:11:55 PM
~snip~

There are a lot of experienced gamblers on this forum, so I decided to ask you what you would like to see in casino reviews.

I would be grateful if you could share your thoughts on this and answer these questions:

1. Do you read casino reviews?
Definitely read reviews as they help with me making a decision if I play with that casino/sportsbook and ensure not to be caught unaware for something a player has gone through...

2. Do you find any casino reviews useful? If so, please share some examples of good casino reviews that you find useful.
Very useful, and for examples these are embedded in announcement threads of some casino sites here on the forum and they carry some weight...

3. What should a casino review contain to make you read it?
Photo's to show proof of deposits, game history , withdraw s and a few words on the whole gaming experience Smiley

4. I've already tried to write reviews that I find useful.  If you have the opportunity, please share your thoughts on them: WolfBet Review and LTC Casino Review
Seeing this site is similar to your username here on bitcointalk , this makes me think you trying to drive traffic over there..will take a look anyway to see your version of a review Roll Eyes

698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: December 30, 2023, 05:31:12 PM
Haaland staying out of action for the time being seems to have freed up resources for my team who should be back after the international break there about, and my alternative striker being Alvarez seems to be paying off at the moment and can't really complain and am impressed with this lads point retention , wish I knew about him earlier  #GG_Alvarez Tongue Cool

Why doesn't Watkins take the pens for villa? Sad

Because Watkins misses his pens half the time, you literally do not want him to take pens for this reason because you will actually lose points from that. Whereas Douglas Luiz has a near perfect conversion rate.
Villa team of the moment Smiley

Otherwise with the assists and goals to his name, isn't this enough to give Watkins the confidence to take the penalties like any other good striker out there Huh I bet those misses have left him traumatised not to try them anytime soon Roll Eyes
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 30, 2023, 02:58:55 PM
Luton is definitely one stuff nut to crack, anf despite them losing to Chelsea today... it's quite interesting to see how they always find a way to get a goal in almost every game and think they need to find a way to defend better and increase their attack intensity to start getting the needed results.

Final score: Luton Town 2-3 Chelsea

Up next, time for Manchester City to catch up with Arsenal after they win against Sheffield United who they have never lost against, and this result should bring them the needed points to get closer to the top and try defend their title...

Fyi, Kevin De Bruyne  is back and this should help bring the teams attacking mentality back in full force...

My prediction: Manchester City 3-0 Sheffield United
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: December 30, 2023, 12:25:17 PM
Its a very simple reason why this notion of the Rich win more at gambling than the poor...look at it this way, the rich don't have greed in them and know when to walk away whenever they win or lose, and btw he/she could start with a bankroll of $20k and make $1000 profit and call it a day because  they know the value of time and money , but the rest of us want to flip $100 into $1000 by sitting behind a screen all day which is a recipe for disaster when you playing for long hours and hence why the Rich stay rich...
