701  Economy / Economics / Re: A coin issued by some country government - would you go for it? on: June 12, 2018, 03:20:30 PM

I will definitely go for it because it means that such a coin has got a guarantee to stay but as for weather it will gain more attention than some of the big coins today will solely depend on the economy and industrial power of the country in question, how influential they are will be a determinant factor
Are you serious right now? Then what are you doing there if that is what you want? Hold a centralized coin that is eventually controlled by the government? What is the difference holding your own currency then and saying you want to invest in it? Let's be realistic here, a lot of us are here just because we simply enjoy the idea of decentralization and not because we just want to invest in anything we see. A coin issued by the government is no different to fiat.

I'm wondering for what purposes they should issue a coin if they have already there own currency and stable economy
No, we cannot assume that. Even bitcoin will be finding more success which will definitely trigger such thoughts to governments. We can expect some government to come up with their own coins in near future. But the success of those coins will not last as per decentralization principles.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna end someday ? on: June 12, 2018, 02:42:42 PM
I have one question that really bug me sometimes, Are ICOs going to end or new ideas and projects will emerge along with ICOs. Many of us actually rely on bounty to earn other than investing. As long as there is ICO I believe there will be bounty. It will be a sad day for us if ICOs are declared officially dead.

I suppose the form of these projects can be changed. They can look different, and the rules will differ as well. However, I do not think that ICO will vanish forever. Some of them are really very tough.
I also have the same belief as well that this is a market that we obviously will have to wait to see how things play out with regulation as that is changing so many things even as at now. The ICO we used to have few months ago, is different from what we are having now and in few years’ time, will even be more different.

I am sure; ICOs will not be ending except that we won't just see any how ICOs popping up in the long run based on those regulations. When there will be some strict regulations then we can see more legit ICOs which will ensure more stronger crypto-world compared what we are having right now.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best pick this month ? on: June 12, 2018, 01:35:39 PM
Hello, I want to invest my mined ethereum into some other cryptos. As the market is at it's low this looks like a right time to enter. Please tell which coin or token you think is good to buy right now.

Also i was thinking of buying Dent for some time. It looks like a quality project. Do u think it is any good for investing.
Thanks
I have not even heard about dent before, so I cannot really give an advice on that. The only advice I can give right now is to do thorough research on what you want to invest in rather than basing your decision on other's judgment as you would not get anything tangible or possibly get even more confused.

I could tell you right now to go ahead investing in Dent because you mentioned it, but does that mean I am right. It is an investment, and you really want to be sure yourself you are putting your money in the right place.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Being aware of SCAMS on: June 11, 2018, 06:41:15 PM
If there is a SCAM project, what contents do you expect from its social media accounts and bitcointalk thread?

We can just take care of our self from scam projects, we can't stop them to scam people, as long as still many people who less in awareness, scammer will always be there.
So, keep safe.
Of course, if someone has the opportunity to learn about the fraudulent actions of someone, then We are obliged to communicate this to each other. But the problem is that it is very difficult to identify a fraudster.
Fraudsters are always the easiest to identify as long as you are smart but the thing is that a lot of people are so gullible to know what to identify and what not to bother about. These days, you still see a lot of people placing much focus on a whitepaper that can be cloned and an idea that can easily be copied and create a website for.

But, all those are face deception as the product cannot be cloned as no fraudster will go through the pain of creating a product that would bring in huge demand for the coin, and want to jeopardize that for scam. Also, even if product can even be cloned, team cannot be cloned, and any team trying to hide identity, should raise some red flag.
705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't hold your coin on exchange for long time. on: June 11, 2018, 04:21:23 PM
If your a an active trader , you can hold your coins in exchanges because your actively trading. But if not, then store it,where your have the private  key before you see the 404 right in front of you.
That would actually be a very devastating 404 lol ! I can imagine the look on someone's face in a scenario that happens. You are right, there is actually no business a long term investor do have with an exchange as the only thing you should use it for is to do your exchange to buy the coin or token you want to hold and transfer your stuff to your wallet where you have the private keys.

It is only for traders who trade often and moving coins and tokens around would obviously pay them but even in that case, it is always better to trade with what one can afford to lose.
706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage: have you ever tried and how much have you earned so far? on: June 10, 2018, 05:06:31 PM
yes i have tried it before from my local exchange to yobit exchange but i get worst experience during my first Arbitrage method because the confirmations to send the coins were pretty long even after my transactions was confirmed then the price was change and dropped and i failed to get profit even at that time i was loss and since that i consider Arbitrage is risky
That is usually the issue one would always have when it comes to arbitrage which makes it a whole lot risky.
Sometimes, even when a network transaction of the coin is fast, some exchanges do not do that immediately, some may even close deposit or withdrawal and some other things.

Hence, moving coins around exchanges can be a whole lot risky and you may end up losing so much than gaining. I simply prefer normal trading, at least, a lot easier than the stress that comes with arbitrage unless the percentage between those coins is just too much to overlook.
707  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tired of checking charts on: June 10, 2018, 04:36:23 PM
How do you guys keep up with the charts?
Can't even sleep well anymore, if I stick to holding is it possible to make gains too ?
Don't focus in a chart everyday because it will make stress because of what you see in the market.  Yes everyday the market price is changing but it will not rise in one night it takes time so don't frustrate your self to keep your eye on the charts.
Except if you are day trading or a short term trader, I do not even see any reason why anyone should be focusing so much on the chart as if their life depends on it. The market will always fluctuate but the idea as a holder is to focus on the long term which was the idea of investing anyway.

Still, so many people who wanted to get rich overnight, invested more than what they could afford to see go down or even borrowed loan just for that reason but they sure are the reasons behind their own problem. Just checking charts will not help anyone but we must have some strategy to enter and exit the markets which will definitely help any trader.
708  Economy / Speculation / Re: The whole market is experiencing slump in last few days. on: June 10, 2018, 01:55:05 PM
It’s normal for FUDs to appear at instances like these. Then a bunch would bandwagon and leave a bunch of negative comments even while they don’t know what they’re saying. There are many who are gullible who believe these kinds of comments even if they are credible nor should not have any bearing. It’s sad that there are still many who get victimized and affected by this.
Yeah, that is something we have to get used to. It is a speculative market and we just have to accept that fact that a lot of people will always want to share their opinion irrespective of whether they have an idea about the market and trading or they do not.

Market though has been bearish for a while now and there is simply no doubt about that, but one thing for sure is that it would not remain bearish forever, and the only thing we can say now is to see how things would just turn out.
709  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on: June 10, 2018, 01:07:57 PM
Bitcoin can reach 20000$ by the end of 2018 Huh Huh
I believe it can be!

That's the spirit!

But on a more serious note, it's hard to say what BTC will be at the end of the year but as I mentioned in another thread, I think the regulation being put in place by a number of countries can only help crypto in the long run, so as always, it's a case of hodling
It is always going to be hard to say as there is really no doubt about that, but one thing I am sure of is that there is a possibility it could happen and at least it is realistic. We may end up not seeing such a move, we may end up seeing it, but what matters is knowing that we are in for a pretty good ride in the long run and it is not really about the short term. I believe even if we do not see much this year, next year/2020 should be a glorious one.

indicates that the Bitcoin is the most profitable and benefited currency which is also known for its fast transaction pr frictionless transaction. We can not underestimate the Bitcoin and its uses in our daily life.
Bitcoin will evolve more from this point then you may see there will be no competitions for bitcoins from currently 2nd and 3rd ranked cryptos. I mean most other coins are still lacking with real life applications which is the reason bitcoin will stand for ever as a leader.
710  Economy / Speculation / Re: What causes Bitcoin to drop? on: June 09, 2018, 06:10:12 PM
which causes bitcoin prices to fall is a issue of negative issues in the news. and lack of supply and demand. this is what causes bitcoin prices to fall. but you do not need to panic because it will be back to stable again.
because the bitcoin is very sensitive to the issue of negative issues about bitcoin. but with this huge price drop but it will come back again and you all also never sell bitcoin because panic with the price drop
It is for sure for the market to get back up again and start a normal proper trend to the upper side when it is ready but we all sure do know now is not the time. The drop was inevitable right from the onset the FOMO started last year and it was sure expected.

How low we are going to get is what no one actually knows now and the only thing we can of course do is to keep watching the trend to see how things would turn out eventually but for now, nothing is certain yet. There could be hundreds of reasons which made prices to drop from $20k to current levels but all the hassles will vanish in near future as bitcoin's future is still believed as a brighter one.
711  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: June 09, 2018, 04:49:12 PM
if everyone has own currency, who is going to use it?
every single person will use his own coin and refuse others, no common use

you could create coin but less likely it will be a currency widely accepted by people
your coin needs major acceptance by people who will use it for daily trade
then your coin will be treated as stores of values (or currency) agreed by many users
without all that, your coin will be just a coin and will never turn into a currency
Based on what you said about everyone using their own coin, how on earth do they even want to use it ?
Is it not when it is accepted in exchange for something that makes it usable ?

The thing here is more like, you creating your own currency and then bag holding it with no real life usage, nothing to use it for, just there in your wallet and then you get frustrated at the end and abandon it. Nothing different from all those scam coins with no value in the market as it will end up having no value at all just like you mentioned in your second paragraph.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think "new" Alt coins & "Blockchain" based coins are good or bad for BTC? on: June 09, 2018, 02:10:03 PM
new altcoins can appears but there is no guarantee those altcoins will survive more than bitcoin even though those altcoins popular but for long term still bitcoin the best cryptocurrencies to hold however i think this is good for bitcoin because possibly the people who buy altcoin also can consider to buy bitcoin as their asset too and if this is happened then i think we will find new investors for bitcoin
That is the case but the fantastic part of it is that they have at least in a way been able to help the whole space grow. Sure, a lot of people invest in the crypto space for different reasons, and having bitcoin alone in this space, would actually have made things boring or slow a little bit.

As long as there are alternatives, even though they do not stand a chance of competing with bitcoin due to the first movers advantage, but at least they serve their own purpose, and they are useful in their own area, which I believe bitcoin cannot end up having it all, or probably, we could have just been dragging with growth and development somehow.
713  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and retirement - how do you see your future? on: June 09, 2018, 01:37:49 PM
For retirement you could have the bitcoin as the perfect options guys bro. Please invest your fund on good ICO and some half of the fund on the wallet as a investment for long time bro. I am damn that you can make the profit in 10 times if you wait for 5 years from now also.
People in the age above 50 will be able to invest and make the profit at the present time as well bro.
it is actually the perfect option. Although, some people may be a bit skeptical about the fact that no one knows what the future of bitcoin is like, how things will end up playing out, but at least from some of the hand writings on the wall.

For those who are smart enough to take some calculated risks, I want to believe that the future is bright and a lot of development and growth is going to eventually kick in the more. By the time one may not have even reached retirement age, you may even just want to quit and say you aren’t doing no more based on how much you may have been worth by then.
714  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello traders on: June 05, 2018, 07:20:22 PM
Some says that to be a trader is very risky, if it is really risky why there are still traders and more are becoming interested to be like this?  Anything that you can share and advice to a newbie like me is appreciated.

The risk caused by a lack of understanding of the nature and workings of cryptocurrency (without adequate knowledge).
Despite the high risk, trading crypto is one way to gain fortune through its speculative nature, both corporate and individual. Admittedly or not, the fact that Bitcoin users have hit the world, both traders, investors and speculators. For them, bitcoin trade's very easy to do.
Yes, lack of understanding is totally the main reason why a lot of people take a blind risk. For instance, let’s even leave trading and hit investment into certain project. A lot of people took loans from the bank and a pretty huge one, to invest into a very volatile market, that is what I simply call stupidity and not risk taking.

Also, a lot of newbies want to trade, and they just refuse to learn or go by the books, and that is also a dumb way to ever take risk. Information is key, which is the knowledge that is needed to make good decisions even while taking risk.
715  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: new to this things on: June 05, 2018, 05:51:05 PM
Be knowledgable all about crypto trading this is your key to be success in crypto world. Once you are gained with knowledge everything is slowly in order to reach your goal here in trading. Before will start trading choose to invest which is good project this is important.
Yeah, I believe having a general knowledge on how the crypto space operates entirely is always going to be a plus. What makes the altcoins responsive; what to always look out for in bitcoin before making any market decisions generally and so on and so forth. Although, the basics of trading is highly important as well as the use of every other indicators and that is what really makes the whole idea of trading not just some child's play but some real profession one should get serious at before making an attempt to dabble into.
716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: factors that can make bitcoin stable on: June 05, 2018, 04:45:42 PM
From my point of view I think bitcoin market will be stable if the big whales are gone. They keep the market unstable and for this reasons lots of people are facing problem. Moreover short term investors also creates problem.
The big whales can never be gone as there will still be some with pretty big position in the market whether we all like it or not. However, there is so little big whales can do when the capitalization of a market is already huge and a very crazily high volume being traded daily.

With that in mind, market will not move in an extremely speedy way as it is today, but we will get to see a more matured market as someone rightly said. This would not just come anyway, as there would have been a huge development based on usage to get to see something like this happens.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors and Bounty on: June 05, 2018, 03:34:17 PM
I was looking for bounty chat in a telegram today because I did not have time to buy coins during ICO and I could not take part in the bounty.
Since I haven't any coins, I really want to buy cheap from bounty hunters on the exchange. I started looking for a group to find out when the bounty will be distributed.
Well, guess what? In this bounty chat, there were a lot of real investors who asked: "When will the payment for the bounty to participants?" I used to think that these repetitive questions are asked by the participants themselves.
And you, too, do this when you want to buy a cheap coin after ICO?

Who are you kidding, you can buy the coin when it Get listed on etherdelta or idex.market because most of the time what people do is they dump their holdings. First things first as a bounty participant you are paid way later from the moment coin or token gets distributed and this is because ones that own an ICO want to make sure there is not huge dip and thus for investors to lose and feel FOMO and then to get messages that somebody is angry and want to kill them. So obviously why you won't stand a chance to buy right away from bounty participants.
Not just people, but bounty hunters. A normal investor who bought an ICO price of let's say $0.1 with his money will obviously not be selling lower than that but wait for the value to hit top notch before even considering selling at all no matter how long he or she will have to wait. Bounty hunters however, who even had no single idea of the ICO price dump at any price, and these days, leave it or take it, investors are beginning to target those moments. I have used it to acquire some pretty good tokens too at a lower price than ICO price.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: June 05, 2018, 01:25:38 PM
I think that it is one of the worst things that you can do, at the end, you are going to end up buying shitcoins who has not even $100k of daily volume )and it can be dumped at any time)
It is actually worth it, but in any case, it is only going to be worth it if you are not just investing in a token because it has low volume, but simply because it is a project that has a product that is worth gambling on. The idea of not ending up with shitcoin comes with what I mentioned above. Nevertheless, it is a lot risky as like you said, this can result into bag holding of shit coins, since in most cases, will be hard to see coins or tokens with prospect having a hugely low volume.
719  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: June 05, 2018, 09:01:02 AM
I read this article, but I want to see opinions, would you sell all your alts to have only bitcoin now ? I don't think this is recommended

https://cointelegraph.com/news/buy-bitcoin-sell-your-altcoins-says-pioneering-wall-street-blockchain-analyst
No, I think that this should not be done. Bitcoin has already reached high values in the price and every twofold increase will be accompanied by new scandals and shocks. Investing in bitcoin will be further problematic and rather risky. Although it is possible that he can still make a good profit. However, for this amount it is better to buy cheap altcoyins, which sometimes grow in price in tens and hundreds of times. It will be a more secure and peaceful investment of its funds.
The problem with a lot of newbie is that because they felt they have missed the bitcoin train and the value has increased hugely, it will never increase again and in that case, they just invest in any low coin that they see as long as it gives them quantity, hoping that one day what happens to bitcoin will happen to those coins even if they are shitty.

Alts at least for now even when they increase hugely hardly do not last and they are basically more like a pump and dump market except for just very few that still hold up in a way. A good strategy not to hold on to alts for so long.
720  Economy / Economics / Re: Any ideas of what we lack in crypto world? on: June 05, 2018, 08:04:43 AM
I think that we are significantly lacking to have enough educated and skilled players, who would share their knowledge with us.
The knowledge is everywhere and a lot of people keep sharing it every day, the problem is that people like being spoon fed and they are too lazy to do research. Sometimes, even when I get to see people ask questions on this forum, questions so silly that once you typed on Google, you will get enormous answers to, but they still just ask anyway.

If people can learn to use the internet to do research, they will get all the information they need, and the only way we may say some can have that problem is if they lack those internet facilities.
