721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] leonArdo - Bitcoin Trading Bot for Poloniex, Bittrex, Bitstamp, Bitfinex.. on: November 17, 2017, 11:53:08 AM
Great bot, already made some profit with it, but it's cancelling active orders after running for some hours...why is it happening?
Can you post a screenshot of it?

Here it is. I did nothing, just left it running and when I came back there is this message.

If you trade with the max amount in the slider this can happen when the market changes. The bot is currently inflexible regarding changing it's amount so if the market changes and it tries to buy that amount but the price is too high then the bot will stop.

We recommend NOT trading with the absolute maximum until the bot handles this.

I hope that helps!

Best wishes,
Jonathan

but i dont understand: why new versions (like 3.5.0 & 3.6.0) work with orders slower than 3.4.1 on bittrex?
and I am forced to use 3.4.1...

What exactly is slower?

Placing an order?

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Please help.

Can you please write an email to support@marginsoftware.de

Is there a chance that the team add more exchanges in leonArdo software soon, such as hitbtc?

There will be more exchanges in the future. It is always a question of allocation of resources.
But we continuously will add exchanges that our customers demand Wink

All the best,

  Rene
Hi Rene,

Kraken is already announced on some articles talking about leonArdo, like this one: https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@marcusxman/leonardo-the-crypto-trading-bot-you-need

However, Kraken is not present right now.

Any news on kraken API added to leonArdo?

We so wanted to release Kraken today, but we just couldn't do it. Their API is just so unreliable at present, it feels like their website. It's horrible and today I couldn't place or cancel a single f*$king order over a two hour period??

We are really sorry about this. Hopefully, Kraken can start to improve things on their end. As for us, we have spent hundreds of hours trying to work with their API and are now in a fix. One thing we are considering is having a closed beta round with a slack channel for feedback to get it out to some testers. Would that be something you would be interested in?

If you,  or anyone else, is interested, please mail support@marginsoftware.de and let us know.

BTW I found this post on Reddit yesterday and found it quite illuminating: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/7cz9s1/dear_kraken_we_need_to_talk/

Best wishes,
Jonathan

The demo version doesn't cheat!

What we advise is not to trade with with large amounts on low liquidity markets as the demo version does not emulate your effect on the market. Of course if you put through a big buy order on a low volume coin it would have the effect of driving up the price. This cannot be emulated. Trading with, relatively speaking, small amounts however provides a fairly accurate indication of what you could expect to happen when trading for real.

I hope that helps?

Best wishes,
Jonathan

trading log:
total bay 1435.46 $
total sell 810.14 $

profit 625.29 $

start sums 0.5 BTC and 500 $
final sums 0.6 BTC and 585 $

difference 0.1 BTC and 85 $

625.29 $ - 85 $ = 540 $

1 BTC = 7308 $

540/7308 = 0.07 BTC

total: 0.5 BTC + 0.07 BTC = 0.57 BTC in Leonardo 0.6 BTC and where is 0.03 BTC?

Sorry, I don't have the time to look at this right now as I'm trying to get our next release out. I will take a look tomorrow.

Thanks for getting in touch!

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Edit: Are you using a fixed USD dollar price for your final calculation over a period of time when the BTC price fluctuated? If you assume the demo is making a mistake at some point, it would be great for you to show it in one trade cycle. Show me one trade the demo did that was a mistake. That would be great. Otherwise, I'll look through your printout!

Why is the minimum bid 0.0125?
The exchange allows the minimum bid of 0.005 BTC

I buy and install this software on August 10, 2017. Software crashes for every 1 hour (I lost more than $ 1kk because of this)

I'm trying to write (to fix this problem or refund) contact@marginsoftware.de and rene@marginsoftware.de, but has not had an answer so far.

I do not recommend buying this product.

could you please contact us at support@marginsoftware.de, even if you already did. Normally we reply to customers requests really quick.
Maybe our reply got caught in your spam folder? You can ask anyone here. We do our best to give you guys one of the best customer support service in the space.

Just drop us a mail and we will help ya out.

EDIT: I just double checked. I replied to a customer on the 14.11 that bought in August and had problems, could that be you by any chance?

All the best,

  Rene

EDIT: And I checked and I mailed you a HALF HOUR after your first mail to us on the 11th of Aug. I am guessing my mail ended up in your spam folder? As for this post of yours it came just 7 minutes after your mail yesterday. I think I was cycling to work at the time and just wasn't fast enough to react to your mail yesterday. So sorry for that. We'll try to be better.

As Rene said, he replied yesterday morning too.

Hi, after a couple of issues with api keys I finally managed to log in and see a positive balance. However, when placing trades it crashes. This includes a margin trade or a manual one. This issue exact is also reflected on a separate laptop leading me to think its an issue your end.

We are dealing with a Windows issue today Sad

I am sure one of the team have been keeping you updated, but if not drop us a quick mail to support@marginsoftware.de

Thanks,

Hi

Just noticed that it's very laggy with bittrex.

Like 5 to 10 second delay, and that's really anoying for fast moves.

Can you improve this ?

We are restricted by the bittrex API. The responsiveness is changeable depending on the load.

We hope they add web socket support soon.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Any plans to add Fibonacci retracement anytime soon?

Just wondering if any plans for this one.

Will be part of a bigger drawing tools release. Another couple of months before we get this done at least. I guess 3 months is realistic.

First up is the Bitfinex web sockets release, followed by a big new bot release. The one after that I guess is possible....

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,
can you share some info on what to expect on coming new bot release?
New bots like Gunbot?

A Bollinger band bot is definitely on the cards and will be first up.

But we are re-working the entire bot code infrastructure to make it really easy to add new bots.

And they will be beautifully rendered in leonArdo's chart making understanding what is actually going on so much easier.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

i bought this software 1 week before but i was busy to test this..now software is working last 3 days and i earned 0.02 btc using fund of 0.3 btc.
so means i got my money back from the software just within 3 days. i am very happy. Wink

10 days before margin team commented that they already tested the software on pi. now the question is when they will be release based on pi.
because electricity is expansive using laptop. i am currently using mini pc which cost me 152 euro and its consume 4 watts. which is alomost 2 euro
per month for the electricity cost which is nothing . but the mini pc cost me doubled the software price.

it will be huge achievement  from margin if they will be  successful to run on Pi.

Thanks a lot for the very kind words!

We will release support for the pi very soon!

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Hi, sometimes while Im using the margin maker strategy, leonArdo doesnt work, it doesnt create a buy order, so I bougth coins manually then I start the margin maker selling .... Anyone with this error?
Cheers.

As long as you have enough funds, it should just work. Could be that the API went down when the bot tried to place an order, but other than that it should just work.

If you notice it again, grab the relevant log in the .leonArdo folder or copy it directly from leonArdo and send to support@marginsoftware.de

Thanks!
Jonathan
