leonArdo 3.6.0 released

What started out as a patch release to add websocket support to Bitfinex,  turned into a full release! We hope you like the progress we've made.

Thanks for moving ahead with this wonderful terminal. So far so good. Need to learn new indicators though.

leonArdo 3.6.0 released

Thank you for the great work, but please consider redesigning the time frame system making it a little be simpler. For instance, when choosing the 1 hour time frame, an hourly time candle sticks should show up, not a one hour window showing a 2 min candles, and also add the ability to zooming the time frame (in and out) using the mouse scroll (i mean showing more or less candles on the screen ) instead of altering the candles height when using the scroll.

And regarding the margin bot, please add the option to make it only one cycle meaning one buying and selling order with a stop loss and after the selling the bot ends.

And lastly, Fibbs and other drawing instruments are a must IMO.

Why not making a poll or something just to see if other users wanting the same thing or not.

And again thank you for the great application,it made my trading much much easier than using the exchange website, and sorry for the long list but we are all contributing to make your application more perfect.

Best Regards
punks

but i dont understand: why new versions (like 3.5.0 & 3.6.0) work with orders slower than 3.4.1 on bittrex?
and I am forced to use 3.4.1...

Great bot, already made some profit with it, but it's cancelling active orders after running for some hours...why is it happening?
Can you post a screenshot of it?

Here it is. I did nothing, just left it running and when I came back there is this message.

If you trade with the max amount in the slider this can happen when the market changes. The bot is currently inflexible regarding changing it's amount so if the market changes and it tries to buy that amount but the price is too high then the bot will stop.

We recommend NOT trading with the absolute maximum until the bot handles this.

I hope that helps!

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Could it be because it looks like the Stop Loss is active and it was activated?
In either case is that window suppose to show up?

what did they change? thanks
All details are have been mentioned at bittrex ann thread you able to check them here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=463202.1180
Thanks, but all I see there has to do with blocked accounts, I thought you were referring to something related to bots and automated trading.

Me thinks it is because both margin windows are set to zero and the Minimum Effective gain trapped it because it was only set to -1% so it got left behind. Happened to me twice yesterday soon as I fired up the new version while BTC was on the rise and everything else started to wane, I also had a good reserve as big as all the pairs in play combined.

Prompt follow up by the customer service team. New version downloaded and up running. Thank you very much.

As per previous release, I cannot launch the bot when I want to load 2 or more pair. The software does not start. It does start only when I select one pair (I run the bot on Windows / Poloniex only).
I have been contacted via pm once, but the problem was never solved...

Random question: Is it possible to maybe add a feature to the bot, that'll show you how much profit you gained from a completed sell order? Maybe in the completed order column ? I know there's a gain % that'll display green, I'd like to see a calculated profit or loss gain feature.

If there's a third party app of this, could anyone help me out by pointing me to the right direction of what I am asking for please ?

You can check the % gain/loss for two particular trades by placing your mouse cursor over the executed order icon (blue or orange triangle) for a few seconds. It will show a comparison between the two trades. For instance, let's say you bought at X, then sold at Y. Letting the mouse cursor over the first trade icon, it will popup a comparison with the subsequent sell.

But one thing missing from leonArdo is a global gain/loss statistic, for each currency pair or for all currency pairs, over a specified time period. That would be a great addition, and already suggested (and acknowledged by the developers).

Grab a download and give it a try in demo mode which is very realistic. There was a new version drop last night and I am pleased, ok very pleased with the improvements. This is the most accurate way to determine if leonArdo is right for you.

When choosing indicators for a pair and I save them as standard, I always need to arrange the positions of the indicators. They are all placed at the same position and I have to place them by hand in the right positions for each pair. Is there a posibility that they are in the right order on every pair, that I add? Sorry for my bad english.

Big thanks to leonardo team. Leonardo gets better and better with each release!!!

Is this usecase scenario possible with leonArdo?

1) I manually place a limit sell order of BTC/USD for 8000USD

2) I want leonArdo to check if the order executed and if yes, to place a buy order for BTC/USD for 7600USD price

Is this something leonArdo can do? Are you guys aware of some other tool capable of this?

Leonardo has a manual trading mode, I use it for easy trading without having to logon to the exchange. In the future, I hope they tweak the margin maker strategy to allow one time purchase/sell instead of continuous. This way, my buy or sell order can adjust to the market, but will only process one transaction on a coin I want to hold

I was hoping for Kraken support in this new release. I also regret that the demo-Kraken exchange is removed from the app.

Do you also expect a version for etherdelta?

Thank you

I was hoping for Kraken support in this new release. I also regret that the demo-Kraken exchange is removed from the app.

I gave the reason for this in a post yesterday. Please see below.

We so wanted to release Kraken today, but we just couldn't do it. Their API is just so unreliable at present, it feels like their website. It's horrible and today I couldn't place or cancel a single f*$king order over a two hour period??

We are really sorry about this. Hopefully, Kraken can start to improve things on their end. As for us, we have spent hundreds of hours trying to work with their API and are now in a fix. One thing we are considering is having a closed beta round with a slack channel for feedback to get it out to some testers. Would that be something you would be interested in?

If you,  or anyone else, is interested, please mail support@marginsoftware.de and let us know.

BTW I found this post on Reddit yesterday and found it quite illuminating: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/7cz9s1/dear_kraken_we_need_to_talk/

Best wishes,
Jonathan
