I have heard good things about kanopool, so I have decided to switch from slushpool. I did this yesterday. I am trying to get an understanding of how the pool works and the statistics I am looking at. The pool just found a block so maybe I will see some action start. Should I see that block and info under "rewards" because it is not displaying. Or do I have to have until it has "matured" to display?
Whether or not the Block has matured, you should see what your mining has produced under "Rewards" after the pool calculates it all out. I see mine so you should see it too. Sure you got your miners and account linked up right? |

That would be your % of the the current pool hashrate, so it's the % of the Block you're hashpower represents when it hits. - yup, Carl gets to it first!!  |

I get that, in fact I made mention of exactly that before I edited my post down for more snark...! But you are correct, if someone is actually doing searches, and lots of reading before spouting off and looking foolish as so many noobs do here, then they deserve to read the corrected version when presented with a possible time bomb due to electrical dufusness. Trust me, I know, was living with friends of the family back in high school days and had all of my possessions, including a 45 minute tape my mom had me make at 6 years old rambling on about all sorts of stuff - lost in a fire due to electrical amateur hour bullshit.
So that's why I tend to dismiss the idiots, though your approach might prevent someone else from going through what I did...

Well after about a year and a half the Lepa died on me... The last year it was only running an R4 so nowhere near it's max output, and even less than the S7 it was originally powering. I find it kinda surprising it would crap out since I wasn't redlining it and it was kept cool indoors since the lack of noise allowed it! Like I often say, "buy it cheap, buy it twice!"  |

Check the specs before buying next time. They show a max of 75A on the pcie connectors rail, so only 900W to those... |

Kano, so 1 block per day is considered 100% luck now?  100% is a block about every 15 hours right now with pool hash rate and dif level. Yep, or another way to put it is the expected per day block average here is currently 1.67 BTC/day. Happy birthday carl! I suspect you've been hitting the sauce extra today as would be expected on one's bday... but I'm pretty sure you meant to say "1.67 blocks per day, not btc per day, right? That would suck even worse than current diff and payouts presently are! We'll let it slide this time, due to old age and whatnot, right?  |
