721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is the best place to learn how to play Poker online? on: July 02, 2019, 03:05:53 PM
Watch poker tutorials on youtube to get the basics down before you jump into practice games.  I would also recommend watching some high level tournaments to get a feel for how the pros play and try to emulate what they do once you build up some basic skills.

I agree, there’s a lot of poker tutorials in youtube and they also give useful tips for newbies on how to learn poker easily. Also if you want to practice playing poker you can download poker games from your playstore to practice until you’ll understand how to play it.

Poker tutorials on youtube are one thing. Playing it with in-game guidance is another thing. For me, the latter always felt more authentic. I've been practicing in my free time lately.

Good move with launching the signature campaign. Let's hope you keep it alive for a few years.
723  Economy / Gambling / Re: To convert or not to convert ❓ This is the Esportsbook’s question… on: July 02, 2019, 03:02:06 PM
Its been a while since I traded game items or games themselves. Same with betting, I did bet a few dollars with Dota2's internal betting system and compendium back in early 2018.
I noticed that your site boasts of in-game betting, which games are supported? Dota2? CsGO? RUST?

Among the new ones are either of Overwatch or Pubg supported?

725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 1 Bitcoin equal to half million USD? on: July 01, 2019, 06:31:32 PM
In my opinion, such a comparison makes no sense. Why did you decide to equate the amount of money supply in dollars to the total supply in bitcoins? Why such a comparison can not be made to the euro, yuan, or other currency? And what is the practical meaning of this comparison? There is no relationship between the volume of money supply of any state and the volume of cryptocurrency.

The OP is not comparing. The OP is using USD as an example for their idea. They are rather comparing the volume with the % of the currency owned. Not the volume of fiat to the volume of crypto.
It is a fair idea the OP has. They are talking about the currencies divisibility.

The idea of OP brings argument in the table.  People saw the flaw of the calculation and state their disagreement.  I too think that it is not accurate to come to that value since the actual value of a certain asset is not derive from the comparison of supply.  One may be rarer but cheaper than the abundant one because of their use case.

Part of the reason what OP said is not true not because OP is entirely incorrect, but rather because countries, businesses and individuals have not yet come to rely on Bitcoin as a functional currency like they do with the dollar. Simple.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: July 01, 2019, 06:19:12 PM
A sweet win for Sri Lanka. It was suppose to be an easy win for them but Pooran and Allen were the man who turned the table in style and was nearly taking away the match from Sri Lanka. Bad luck that Allen had to go by an unfortunate run out, bad luck that Pooran was caught behind by an occasional bowler. WI lost but they did not let it happen easily like India did yesterday. They fought until the end with their last recognize batsmen.

Did you guys see Rihanna to cheer for WI? I never knew that she is a fan of cricket.

With a dud career in Hollywood maybe she's aiming to woo Indians and Sri Lankans and West Indians lol Imagine Rihana singing in an IPL event. Jeez!
727  Economy / Speculation / Re: What the Effing Hell is Going On!?!?! on: July 01, 2019, 05:22:47 PM

If the chart fooled you twice then shame on you Smiley It must be disappointing for those who bought at $12K most are aiming to dump at $13k lol It stick for about 2 days on $12k. Christ the buy and sell orders are just meant to increase its price.

I did sold some of my altcoins and hold for usdt for now, it its going to dip down to $8k I'd buy back now just the coins I sold but some BTC. I lost about $300 for being late to dump though but I guess I can ignore it now that I can am gaining few.

No point in laughing at someone for their mistakes. On the hindsight when BTC crosses this year's ATH, this correction, no matter how low it sinks, will not matter.
728  Economy / Services / Re: 🚀CyberDice 🎲 Signature Campaign [FULL] on: July 01, 2019, 05:18:12 PM
Hi guys,

How is your campaign going?

Do you remember about posting in appropriate threads?

How do you feel wearing our signature?

Second round starts on Thursday. You still have some time to catch up Wink

I am not in your signature campaign. But I must say I enjoy seeing legitimate campaigns popping up here from time to time. Yours is one such campaign.
However, to make a proper impact, I would like you to consider increasing the slots for the total number of participants.

Not only would that increase your coverage on this forum, but it also would be a better promotion all around with a better per dollar return on investment.

Good luck.
729  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for full bounty campaign package on: July 01, 2019, 05:07:04 PM
For legitimate services please look at here.

🔥🔥🔥★OVERVIEW OF SERVICES★🔥🔥🔥

Good luck to your project, for a better result, hire the best manager like @Hhampuz and @yahoo62278. Don't hesitate to PM them.

OP might not have the budget to hire them. OP has not publicly declared what their budget is, which is wise, but I do not think anyone will find it any bit wise or funny when they learn about OP's campaign budget.

I'd urge everyone, experienced or otherwise to perhaps guide OP regarding what are the typical costs involved for what he is asking. And do so publicly. OP has told me that this is his first time / he is new so please be easy with him.

He is just farming his signature. He does not actually mean anything he said. I'd be surprised if he even read anything that your project entails.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Seize $1.5 Million in FIFA Gambling Crackdown on: June 30, 2019, 10:43:28 PM
It does necessarily put cryptocurrency in a bad spot light. It is was just the medium of payment, not the crime itself. Same probably would have been the case if fiat was used as the currency  involved. Gambling is a regulated industry in most advanced climes

The news came from China, they have been very salty on crypto specially on bitcoin. So it's just about time to make some news again and involved bitcoin because it seems that the price is rallying again.

$1.5 million dollars is still very big, and it really means that gambling is really all-over and as much as all efforts have been put into place to stop it specially in China, it will be a big task for them.

1.5 mil is nothing compared to the size of the Chinese gambling industry dude. I am not even sure why they bother with these crackdowns as it has 0 effects on curbing gambling activities.

733  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Google allegedly prevent Trump from winning in 2020, push far left agenda on: June 30, 2019, 05:21:57 PM
Surprising, Are you saying that Trump is not aware of it and did not warn these companies?
I think companies can be held accountable if they are discriminating the user on the basis of their political associations.

Btw Trump is directly responsible for breaking up Amazon and ruining Bezos' life. Of course Bezos just played right into the hands of Sanchez but everyone knows how Trump literally hates Mr "Bozo"..

And if all companies start becoming accountable, would that not be problematic? Say someone hating on Putin for his pokery might be a Hero in US and a Villain in a Putin lovin country.. what if say company X is present in both countries but is forced to choose a side? Still accountable?
734  Local / Press & News from India / Re: Indian Govt. committee is proposing 10 years jail for dealing in crypto on: June 29, 2019, 08:20:57 PM
What the government SHOULD be doing is jail the person for 10 years that is spreading all such bullshit rumor.

A proposal for a bill is not law. And even then, a law is not set in stone! Especially if it is unconstitutional. If they do ban it, the very next day it would be challenged on the basis of unconstitutionality and that case will be pending for another half decade (like Aadhaar)
735  Local / India / Re: Best indian Peer to Peer or Fiat Exchange on: June 29, 2019, 08:17:45 PM
If OP is still looking for a place to buy or sell bitcoin for INR then localbitcoin is the only place as far as I know because most of the exchange doesn't support fiat withdrawal from india due to restrictions from RBI so get bitcoin through traders on LBC or us forum to find a trader with trusted escrow.

L O C A L E T H E R E U M as well.. lol I can't stress the number of the times I've suggested people to use this gem of a site but no one seems to pay attention. Sometimes Bitcoin and all its melodrama with high fees can be a chore to deal with. Ethereum is precisely the right thing to use in those times. ESPECIALLY if you are looking to cash out small amounts, which does tend to get uneconomical with Bitcoins cuz of fees and premium.
736  Local / India / Re: Help translate bitcoin.org into Hindi on: June 29, 2019, 08:13:01 PM
No need for apologies, @legendster seems to have gone off the deep end lately, and his comments show nothing but immaturity. I certainly agree a Hindi translation for bitcoin.org would be most useful to a majority of Indians interested in digital currencies.

Oh really? Is this because I did not entertain your useless post on my self-mod thread? And just because you traded with me does not mean you actually know me or something. I've always had an anti-hindi  / anti-single-language-for-India stance.

And I do not need your justification or approval to have that.

India has over 150 officially recognized languages and 1000s of local dialects and smaller languages. Hindi IS the most commonly used language across the 1.2 billion people in India (no, it's not English).

Happy to contribute to the translation efforts!

Not facts. Just what you believe. Check facts first. Link : http://www.censusindia.gov.in/Census_Data_2001/India_at_glance/glance.aspx

And I sincerely apologize if I offended anyone by only mentioning Hindi to be translated. Of course, the website can be translated in any other language Smiley I edited the original post to address this.

You do not need to apologize. There is nothing wrong in what you have said, you thought India had one language, and that is the prevailing mindset - that needs to change. Not just in India but for outsiders as well.
737  Local / India / Re: Any reputed member or merit sources here? on: June 29, 2019, 09:24:51 AM
But the fact that he is not Indian and can only read English and not any other major Indian languages, I don't think he is the right person to represent this community. Although he can definitely become a merit source citing any of his other accomplishments.
That's not true, What makes you say so? I am an Indian and can read and write 4 of the major Indian Languages including Hindi. The problem is that, I have a hard time in understanding Hindi if they were written in a typical rural accent or in it's purest form. I read each and every post being made here in the Indian board and report them if I feel they are contributing spam to the board and would merit them if I feel like the post is contributing positively to the board. Till now I have reported around 600-700 posts just in the Indian board and most of the spam have been trashed by moderators.

I had no clue you were Indian. This only goes to show the level of disconnect among Indian members here in the forum. Back in 2013 / 14 everyone knew everyone. Now this space is almost dead.
About you reporting posts, I don't doubt what you are saying. But does reporting bad posts make for strong grounds to become a merit source?

In any case, if you do become a merit source, I wish you spend your merits without any biases.

I've had a run in with Heisenberg, he has a flawed sense of judgment and although I will not hold that against him as he did rectify his course of action.
I don't recall the incident where we spoke in this forum before. Did we? Or are you pointing to the Wallet name suggestion topic of yours?

No and it does not matter anymore. What's done can't be changed.
738  Local / India / Re: What is the best way to buy and sell in 2019 on: June 28, 2019, 11:19:09 PM
Thanks for the reply guys .So which one is better? Localbitcoin or Wazirx?

I would say localethereum as it does not require ID. Acquire ethereum then Changelly / Shapeshift into BTC.
739  Local / India / Re: Any reputed member or merit sources here? on: June 28, 2019, 11:16:31 PM

It is sad and pathetic to see the state of cryptos in India, not only on this forum, but beyond it. As has always been the case in India. We are late in adopting tech. And cronny companies like Reliance is killing the whole ecosystem.
Indians got betrayed by trusting and it happens for centuries so they are trusting jio and even governments supporting them blindly. Cry

India don't have any single language to represent the community but also it is impossible to have merit source for every language but atleast we need to have a merit source who have a good knowledge on Hindi and English to support here.

Why is it not possible to have merit sources for every language? Buddy there are enough Bengalis in India that doesnt even exist in the country where Bengali is the national language. Same for Tamil, Nepali, Andamanic languages, and north eastern languages.

As the country progresses into the internet age, more of these speakers will come online, and nearly all of them will have something valuable to say.

740  Local / India / Re: Any reputed member or merit sources here? on: June 28, 2019, 03:07:25 PM
BTW Heisenberg_Hunter applied for Merit Source, Indians may get one.
