Well I certainly hope our block watchers are OK. But since no one else mentioned the block this morning I will:

The other miner of note at the time was the LKETC Dragon Miner using the Innosilicon A1 ASIC.

I remember having good results from the ones I bought.

This just showed up on my Core...can anyone shed a light on just what it means? I've never seen it before.

EDIT: Didn't take long to find it's probably encountering a Segwit block? Consensus says no worries? Tru dat? It's a full node, BTW.

I have it on my mac 0.14.2  core

are you running linux, mac or windows version of 0.14.2 core
0.14.2 on Ubuntu 16.04LTS. I guess it's a "normal" msg...but sure could be worded better.

Oof.. 13.53% increase. That more than makes up for the negative increase last time.

These might help.

The Coincraft uses a raspberry pi which you can reset by re-imaging the SD card.

750  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [150+ PH] SlushPool (slushpool.com); World's First Mining Pool on: July 11, 2017, 11:32:42 PM
What am I missing?  I just setup my first mining rig with a rate of 7 TH/S on SlushPool.  Their dashboard shows my "Estimated Daily Reward" at 0.00062122 BTC ... which is only $1.46/day with today's rate.  Crypto Compare's calculator shows that I should be grossing about $5.86/day at my current hash rate.

Please be gentile.  I'm a complete noob.  What am I missing?

Here's a link to the calculator:
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/btc?HashingPower=7&HashingUnit=TH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=1293&CostPerkWh=0

Didn't you like my answer last time?

The thing you are missing is patience.

Its all about the luck of the pool, most good pools should "average" close to the calculators level of found blocks over a given period of time, but that luck can vary from day to day, week to week and month to month.

Wait for a month, then see what you have averaged over that time.

Just started a little ETH hobby mine of a couple of ASUS dual gtx1060-06gb (oc) and set up my little rig with the first card. Ive taken a screen shot and wondered if the settings were ok. Would any of uou guys have suggestions to get more out of it?

Thanks

Try using GPUz and see what memory you have, if its Samsung you could push the memory overclock higher. I would test with zero overclock on the Core and see how high I could push the memory speed and keep it stable, then once its stable with the memory overclock, try pulling back on the power target. Try using MSI Afterburner.
755  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Mining on Slushpool slowed down by 2x? on: June 24, 2017, 10:57:15 PM
heh, well I was assuming the fees hadn't changed in the past two weeks.
756  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Mining on Slushpool slowed down by 2x? on: June 24, 2017, 06:00:45 PM
You know the nature of bitcoin mining is that because of the difficulty increases you will slowly be mining less and less unless you keep buying hardware to keep up.

There have been two difficulty increases in the past few weeks of 4.9% and 13.5%  https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

The other thing that can affect how much you get paid out regularly is the luck of the pool.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FoldingCoin - MINE FOR MEDICINE- PHASE 2.0 on: June 22, 2017, 07:46:45 PM
The advanced instructions are a bit mixed.

Some of the information says to use Userid_FLDC_WalletAddress, and some of it says to use Userid_ALL_WalletAddress

I expect the _ALL_ one is if you want to do Curecoin as well?

For me I want to fold to my own team, so I've used the "_FLDC_" version, is that correct?

Guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks. Smiley
FLDC and CureCoin are separate (even though they are trying to work together towards a common goal)

"_ALL_ " Means FLDC (and any derivatives that don't have special requirements) and any other tokens that support FLDC "members" (i.e.,MAGICFLDC).
You can use either _FLDC_ or _ALL_ on your own team (or any team) and CureCoin is unaffected by that.
In order to get CureCoin, you must specifically be on team 224497 and signed up at cryptobullionpools

Thanks, that's what I figured was the situation. I knew that Curecoin you had to fold for their team, wasn't interested in doing that. Thanks for the clarification about the _ALL_ difference.

I should switch to the _ALL_ tag after the next distribution, if it works Smiley

Its been quite fun leaving my old account (briefly) in the top 50 of F@H and starting from scratch, means I can stomp all my team members all over again. Cheesy

So just over a week to wait.......*tap* *tap* Cheesy

Thanks, will take a look, appreciate the help.

Look forward to any new developments, think it was and is a great tool.

Mine is running on a Synology NAS, but your instructions worked fine.
