You seem to be a person of some means so I suggest that you hire, for your own benefit, credible independent experts on cryptography and distributed systems to give their opinion, because from what I've seen virtually all such people would not give a generally positive opinion. That is, if you actually care about this sort of substantial question and not just about whether you can flip the coins for a profit. Like no one cares that SATOSHI (whom I respect) mined a shit load of coins before anyone else did,
over the course of a year or so, using a moderately large cluster of equipment, after he explained the entire concept to thousands of people on the cryptography mailing list a month or so in advance and invited them to participate (and others were certainly mining otherwise he wouldn't need that cluster, just a laptop) That's exactly the same as mining a million coins in a few hours after an ambush launch releasing buggy code in the middle of the night with no mention of any development goals until after the instamine was over. Well its the same if you are a DRKtard. To everyone else it is not even remotely the same.

...as a longtime DRKner i m not allowed to vote. It is only 10 DASH to join the foundation to be able to vote. Any long term fan of the coin should be able to spare that and the money will go towards continuing work by the dev team. I would say it is small price to pay if you care about the logo selection.
