I really wish, when I pay for next day, they DONT use saver. Saver is not an overnight service.

It is across most of Europe:

Next business day delivery during the day to almost all European business centres

End of second business day delivery to most business addresses in the United States and all major business centres in Canada

Delivery during the day within two to three business days to countries in Asia.

Which UPS service is next day to USA?

KnC have replied via email that my order 104xx (paid with bitcoin) will not be ready for Stockholm pickup till next week

Just received 2 emails from UPS with tracking numbers for both my orders: #1045x and again #1045x

Scheduled Delivery: 06-December-2013

Turn off power switch?
SSH to your miner.

Terminate cgminer with "q".

Shutdown linux with "halt".

Turn off power.

Is the q really required? I just halt it.

I'm going to buy two Cooler Master V1000's so I would need two of those 19pin plugs. Do you have them made already? I know where to buy them and even have PCI-E pins/crimps but if you already have them, let me know. I'll need two of them.
Thanks.

You need 19pin and 10 pin per PSU or it will not start. I've been racking my brain for the past couple of days why it wouldn't start and found the answer Smiley

Thanks for the helpful info, I would have never guessed since every PSU I ever jump started only used one connector. I do see that has two MB connections. Also, this unit has 4 PCI-E which is great for 4 modules and a Jupiter but heard Coolermaster was cheap and only put 3 cables in the box. Is that true?

Did you buy extra cables from Coolermaster?

V850 comes with 3 cables. V1000 comes with 4.
Another thing is you can safely use the CPU ports with PCI-E cables, so you have 6 in total Wink

Cooler Master sent me free cables that I requested over email Wink

it is true you can request free PCI-express cables if you are a US citizen, the rest of us are required to pay about 5 USD and wait for 2 weeks for them to arrive...

http://www.cmstore.eu/power-supply/6-pin-to-pci-e-6-8-pin-modular-flat-cable/

also i would advise against using the PSU port, at least on a v850 as that is what caused mine to just die.

i thought i'd try that before trying the twin molex to PCI-e.... it has been in the 'shop' now for over a week and will be replaced, not repaired.

the v1000 may be a bit more resilient.

i am currently using a cheap 1100w strike-x psu which has shown no signs of struggle but again, still only using 3 PCI-e cables (1 is 'doubled up' as it was with the v850)

is it plausible to use SATA ports with PCI-e cables as some psus have only 2 PCI-e ports?

I am in UK and got 7 for free. They came from the Netherlands.
Also using the CPU port should not cause any problems as voltage is voltage (12V). The connector doesn't fit properly, so make sure you know what you are doing.

Anyone interested in a way to remove the 24 pin ATX cable  Roll Eyes

I made some for myself - you just plug it directly at the back of the PSU and it starts.

The left single one is for EVGA 1300W and the right 2 ones are for Cooler Master V850/V1000 and probably other PSUs that use the same platform:

So, can someone explain to me how the tuning suite works? I am literally just guessing at what I am doing....although my Sat. now Jupiter has been hashing at a decent rate, apparently after having tweaked it slightly where I think it needed tweaking....it now seems to have a steadier and slightly higher hashing rate. But some guidance or explanation of what things do and the danger zones would be nice...my 2 satoshis....

SPI Voltate is for the communication chanel I believe.

Underneath that for each asic and for each die you can change the voltage:
0V = no change from the original value.
+value = you increase the voltage from original value
-value = you decrease the voltage from original value

My personal experience is: increasing the PSI voltage to is max settings at 3.3V and then for each die with problems increase its voltage substantially and if it helps then decrease it in small increment to find its lowest possible stable value.

Hahaha, shill all the way... pegged me there...
I did indeed have a slight advantage, due to the kindness of KNC, admittedly...
I don't however, have any inside knowledge, I'm just as you, a customer.
Feel free to call me whatever name you want...  if it makes you feel better.

no-one said anything about insider knowledge, you shill!

keep the act up...

who is this fucking guy? who let you in here? man, we need more security.

Who left the door open  Huh
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 01, 2013, 01:17:52 AM
ok, got it...see it...
not exactly the account history page, close enough...

Now do we agree that KNC advertised and still advertise Batch 2 as November shipping? Smiley
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 01, 2013, 01:14:29 AM
PLz dont go wild on me... that was a Q on the acct page... mine hasn't got the same...

Now click on an November order number and see what happens Wink
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 01, 2013, 01:07:45 AM
Oh god not the technical discussions on ship date bulcrap again... didnt we go through this already.

Yes we did, but I am amazed at Phoenix, who somehow is misled into thinking that KNC never advertised November shipping.
That was always part of the product title  Roll Eyes
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 01, 2013, 01:04:55 AM
Really Bogart? my order history has the order date, and that's all, nothing like "November Shipping" is written on it, and I've ordered from every batch...

-also-

So the gigantic letters on the main page doesn't count then?

Or this, which you don't see? (Why?):

Do you actually realize that what you show was published after they started producing them and after they probably realized they can't make it by the end of the month?
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 01, 2013, 12:57:59 AM
They promised 15th October shipping, but that didn't happen, so..
By now you should have learnt that not everything KNC says turns true Wink

My October order shipped 03-October, and was delivered on the 7th.  No complaint there.

Mine shipped 29th and was delivered 30th  Shocked

All orders placed today will ship in November.

Well it's December now in Sweden and my "Jupiter November Shipping" hasn't been shipped. Way to over-promise and under-deliver. Sad

What was your order date?

Nov 9.

I'm guessing it'll still end up being a better turnaround than any other ASIC producer.

True, but that's no excuse.  They promised November shipping, and ought to have upheld that promise.

Yes, but what is indeed odd is that its their second run. I do understand that they had unexpected problems in batch#1, but now they should now how to build a proper assembly line and how to tune those chips etc. But again they messed up something and again they didnt communicate their delay.

True. I don't defend them by any means. I am equally unimpressed, but having experienced this before I now feel less angry with them.
