Nice attempt.  You should've quit while you were ahead though.

Casinobit got nothing wrong, except he intentionally turns his investment to a ponzi. At least I got paid once here Smiley

huh?
1.  Casinobit was sending the wrong fees or no fees then ignored the fact that his thing was messes up.
2.  You also got paid from Casinobit at least once according to your post.  I can dig it up if you like.
763  Economy / Gambling / Re: Scratch Tickets on: September 07, 2013, 07:18:28 PM
Mind I ask what is the EV of this game?

50% Chance of winning.

20% Chance of prize being 1x your payment.

40% Chance of prize being 2x your payment.

35% Chance of prize 4x your payment.

5% Chance of prize being 20x your payment.

I've quoted the odds OP lists so he doesn't change the post.
[     50% Losing     ]
In that 50% of winning
20% => 1x (10%*1)
40% => 2x (20%*2)
35% => 4x (17.5*4)
5%  => 20x (2.5%*20)

170% EV. Nice Deal, so what is the new paytable!

Great, but the last time I've seen wrong fees and promised returns like that it was Casinobit...

Pay outs for this game don't confirm, and odds aren't anywhere near what OP has listed.

Your 1.98% house edge might keep some from playing there they stand to lose a lot more than some other dice games.  Valuation seems way too high also.  You must expect to see as much action as Just-Dice with a house edge 2x higher, and no real benefits over it.

The chat seems to be jumping around for no reason on my browser.  Also the sound notification someone requested before would help, maybe for when it becomes your turn also.
768  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice 100,000 BTC wagered giveaway on: September 05, 2013, 06:46:38 PM
Thanks for the free coin.  I was gambling around with it and made a small amount more.

770  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would you use an ATM machine to buy Bitcoins? on: September 02, 2013, 03:08:51 PM
That's a good point. Where would you be aiming to place these atm?

I live in Colorado so I'm hoping to place the first one in Denver.  My partner has extensive experience in programming ATM machines for large banks and he is confident we can build a prototype machine.

The only problem placing one in another city/state is finding a sponsor to manage it.  Initially it would only sell bitcoin (not buy it) so periodically cash would need to be unloaded from the machine.  We want to develop the first machine and then license the technology to others who want to place ATM machines in their home towns.

Sound like a good idea.  What is the timeframe on this?

775  Economy / Gambling / Re: MadPay.com — new dice site — ~0.5% house edge! Great on mobile. Come try it out. on: August 31, 2013, 04:04:58 AM

Thanks! I like the simplicity of working in mBTC. Bringing down the minimum bet would make everything more complicated. But maybe I could have an option to change the currency to uBTC instead.

The max bet should be raised above .10 if possible, also more options, let the user choose their win % chance.

Do you play at the max bet? How high do you want it to go?

And what's people's interest level in an affiliate program?

I think uBTC is fine, that is what Bitzino does.  I realize you want high rollers, but this can help build up your site.

I realize you have to be careful with your max bet and max win % because of your bankroll (which I assume is limited) and your relatively low house edge.  You (the house) do not have to be very "unlucky" to get killed.  You'll recall "celeste" racked up on Just-Dice fairly early on and JD has outside investors to help absorb losses and a 1% edge.

Since I already have MadPay in my signature I'm obviously happy about an affiliate program, but am not sure you want it.  Your edge is only .5%, if you give me 10% on a referral you're down to .45%, not sure it is worth it.  I view the other new off blockchain dice sites as your main competition and neither of them have an affiliate program.  JD has the clever investment idea (and apparently a rock solid back end) and primedice has the crazy generous faucet to keep low rollers there and chatting to maintain an audience for the whales and site activity/action.  Good Luck!

Bitzino has a setting for the user to pick how BTC is displayed, which is nice.  uBTC is just one of the options.
776  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiRat - inmates bet on rat races on: August 31, 2013, 03:52:19 AM
How is a rats speed calculated, I see wide differences in speed?  Can I name my rat eventually?  What does it eat?

Speed is a random number:
Quote
Maximum speed the rat can achieve.
This is influenced by stamina and health.
Maximum speed increases +1 per level.
The actual speed the rat will run in the race is a random between 10 and this speed.

So high level rats can still run very slow and lose.

Would be cool to see the actual odds of winning  listed for each rat, calculated out with the factors that effect it.  Can we get elephants next?
777  Economy / Gambling / Re: Predictious.com | The Premier Bitcoin Prediction Market | Trade & Win Bitcoins! on: August 31, 2013, 03:19:22 AM
And we've now added price charts for each contract, for example check this page.

Looking good.  Coming along slowly(very slowly) but surely.

Hope? I KNOW I'll win  Grin

Hey Scat can we have the qualifier list after this deadline?

Final list will be posted on the 20th of December, as people might remove their signature or fail to meet the 100 post requirement.

That is a lot of Bitcoin.  How many people are participating?
