761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s your strategy on high volatility slot game? on: November 08, 2023, 08:00:38 PM
I play slot games but I always avoid high volatility slot games such as hacksaw and nolimit because this provider often gives more lose bets without hitting anything big even with bonus round. I’m not how did some players manage to become successful hitting huge multiplier from this provider.

Are betting fixed amount of spin on each game then move on to the next slot game after the you reach your target spin count or you wait to hit something big before you switch games.

In an event that you hit early huge multiplier, do you still play using same game or you immediately switch different game?

I don't think there will be any strategy for such high volatility games as obviously it's luck based. But for me, I will try to used the buy bonus for such high volatility games, instead of playing it like normal wherein I need to spend big money or for how many spins I have to make just to get the bonus rounds.

Buying bonus is like a short-cut and testing your luck for that day without putting too much pressure on your end. I mean, what if you win big? then maybe you can just exit and logout and withdraw and for sure you will be happy. Same with losing, just think of it as not your lucky day.

And at the end, the best strategy is to just play with the money that you can afford to lose.
762  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price $45k by ending of 2023: AI prediction on: November 08, 2023, 07:32:00 PM
The last time I listened to artificial intelligence predictions, it told me that the price would return to $50,000 before the end of this year, so the result varies according to the data it is provided with. It would be unwise to trust these tools, but I find that these predictions tend to be accurate.

Yes, I don't think that we should trust this tools, it might help us in other aspects in life, but to say that we are going to rely on it to say what the price will be at least at the end of the year? doesn't make sense at all.

Besides, if I'm not mistaken, the prediction of what will be the price at the end of the year is around $40,000-50,000. It might coincide with what the AI might say, but we have this at the middle of the year already. The data that the AI might be getting is what we have been seeing all alone.

So with or without AI, I will stick with my personal prediction. It could be a hit or miss though, but I didn't rely on some bots or AI tools to make that prediction for me.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What conditions might cause you to stop gambling? on: November 08, 2023, 07:09:15 PM
if it's leading me to become uncontrollably addicted to it, that can make me stop it. But what you also need to understand is that if you've been into gambling for a long time, you can't just decide to stop gambling and just stop it like that, it has to be a gradual process where you reduce how frequent you gamble, isolate from sources that will bring you back to the habit and might sometimes require that you talk to a friend about the habit.

But if you are the type that does responsible gambling, it won't be necessary to stop it cause the more you do it, the more experienced you become and some  moment win either win or lose out on a game and this will guide you for future prediction purposes.

Normally, gambling is fun for many gamblers. Despite that, some people only gamble for the sake of winning money, but at the same time, they enjoy the fun that comes along with it. It's always difficult to stop something that you have become used to doing regularly, but just like you said, it can take time. But what I think can shift one's attention away from gambling is either a job or business, or maybe any career that the gambler is aware to be a better source of income for them. For me, I don't gamble as often as before, and the reason is because of my other day-to-day activities. Business is so demanding, just like my job, and I have to make some posts on this forum.

Yeah, there are gamblers who play for fun and to be entertained, and there are to win money. But this is based on my experienced, I suddenly stop gambling when many years ago, I suddenly lost my job and I don't have enough money to save in the bank to survived. So obviously, I will have to prioritized things with the little money I got in my pocket that time.

So I just quit gambling because of that circumstances, and then I try to apply as soon as I can to have money so that I can bring food in the table for my family. That is the only thing in my mind that time. It was a learning experienced for me though. When I was able to get back and start working, I suddenly lose my enthusiasm to play or at least minimized the budget for my gambling activities.
764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting losses, Take a break and just focus on Bitcoin. on: November 08, 2023, 01:37:50 PM
Recently I was contacted by a trader friend, who told me that his trading position in futures was hit by Stop Loss. He played in altcoins, because Bitcoin has recently increased in value. My friend dared to take a long position in several altcoins with capital of $150, and after hitting a stop loss the remaining funds were $12.
I told him to stop and close the entire position he had just made. I want my friend to stop for a moment to calm his mind and emotions so as not to add to the existing losses.

Not sure how long your friend is trading though, maybe he doesn't have that experienced, or maybe he is just unlucky on what altcoins he is trading. Maybe he should stick to Bitcoin though as we all know that altcoins is more volatile so it's hard to make money out of it as in just matter of hours, it could flip.

And I suggest that if it starts again, it's best to just play Bitcoin and don't play with too many different types or play too many altcoins. I know that sometimes altcoins are able to provide greater profits than bitcoin when bitcoin experiences a 10 percent increase, but altcoins are also able to provide greater losses.

Yeah, just stick to couple of them and see how it goes. Bitcoin could be a good practice for him specially if he is a beginner in trading. And just like what I said previously, trading is not for everyone. It might take years for others to make great money as it will take a lot of time in your part to learn this craft. So he might reset everything and see where his mistakes.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For Newbies Interested in Gambling on: November 07, 2023, 02:20:44 PM
Being patient and consistently involved in healthy gambling habits will surely make you a successful gambler. If you are newbie who is interested in gambling and has been following the gambling community here or any where online or offline, your purpose should be to learn as much as possible from the shared experiences of others such that you can eventually branch out independently, allowing you to operate without dependence on others.

Yeah, maybe we have read success stories here, like winning big or let's say in sports betting wherein you hit a good parlay and x100 or higher. But there are also horror stories wherein someone could have lost a big amount of money that is supposedly to be used for something important but the gambler chooses to take a big risk. So it's really up to us whether to listen from that stories and then learn a thing or two.

Note that the most important thing in gambling is bankroll management and finding value. What messes people up is poor bankroll management.  Personally, I limit my bets to no more than 10 percent of my bankroll per day, I stop once that limit is reached.  Also don't get discouraged if variance comes in and you have a losing day, week, month, etc. Value is value and it will catch up.  Goodluck on your gambling journey.

Gambling oldies can throw in their 2 sats on this.

Of course you should learn how to mitigate risk as well and not just bet all your money. That's why the advise is just play with the money that you can afford to lose and just enjoy and be entertained. If you are lucky then good for you. But gambling is not something that you can really depend or rely upon as far as making like money to bring food in the table for your family. You need self control and not be carried away, and on worst case scenario, be a gambling addict.
766  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2023 end game sentiment check on: November 07, 2023, 12:41:11 PM
Any answer you feel like is correct.  Im not asking for a precise prediction just mostly a thumbs up or down, its purely the idea that peoples feeling alter and sometimes market effects are ironic; its worth noting how bullish the crowd is.
The majority of crypto investors can't be expecting a bullish end of the year for bitcoin at this last quarter of the year, they would prefer to see a moderate price of $35k - $40k by the end of the year.

It could still be considered as bullish though if we reach around $40,000 at the end of the year. The lowest price that we got is $15,500 last year. So that is a big increased in the price already if we touch based like $35,000-$40,000.

At this end of the year, so many of us would vote for bitcoin to move sideways in price but not to lower back to $20k or not near ATH.
From my observation, I think the price of bitcoin will continue to range from $33k to $40k in pricing towards the end of the year.

It's really difficult if we look at the start of the November, for the start of the week though, it seems that there are selling already as we fall from mids $34,000 when we thought that the price will continue to go up and breach at least $36,000.

So many things can still happen in the next week or so at least this November, others say that this could a bull trap. And there are speculations that we might go down to $32,000 before we can go up to $40,000. So many scenarios and we really don't know where the price will move at the end of this month or even this 2023.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Believe That Reading People's Bad Experience Will Help You on: November 07, 2023, 07:04:00 AM
If you're starting your journey on gambling do you think reading about people's bad experiences like losing their savings and getting depressed which leads to loss of jobs and livelihood will help new gamblers to become responsible gamblers for fear that what they read will happen to them?

I ask this because, in our country, our government has mandated cigarette manufacturers to post graphic images of those who suffer from the bad effects of cigarettes on every pack of cigarettes like lung cancer pulmonary disease (COPD), which includes emphysema and chronic bronchitis

So do you think it will be the same with gambling?

It's very difficult to see how it will affect addicted gamblers though, I mean in gambling there could be a lot of reasons why individuals became addicted though and that should be the point of attack to make them quit. It could be that in the beginning, this individuals just wanted to feel what gambling is, and so we say that we gamble for fun and entertainment. But it can go backfire in the long run and become addicted gamblers. There are also who want to escape from their depression, thus gambling for hours just to forgot their problems.

So it might not be an effective method to have this graphic content and images to show what will be the effect of gambling as everyone has his and her reasons to gamble. So there's no one size fits all strategy. Still up to the person to quit and stop gambling and it could be better if they are going to seek professional help to stop.
768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: at which point of a boxing match you consider cashingout? on: November 07, 2023, 02:57:58 AM
assuming you risk your money to an underdog Prograis 3.75 vs Devin 1.22 and then Prograis luckily landed a snap punch resulting in a flash knockdown in the 1st round and the referee counts to 8. of course, you will be seeing the cashout option makes you win probably more than 30% if you'll cash out. would you do it or would you wait to find out if Prograis wins?  and what will you do if the fight goes the distance while Devin is also gaining?

let's say you compare this to Fury vs Ngannou which Ngannou knock down Fury and then goes the distance. will you cashout because it's already a sure profit or will you wait for the decision which is very uncertain?

I don't know, but as a boxing fan, I wouldn't cash out early though, I wanted to see the upset being completed by the boxer, in this case, Prograis and then earlier we have a good fight in Ngannou vs Fury and we always got the win if not for those controversial score by the judges, (but it has been discussed already on it's own thread and it's very highly contested subject.)

So for me and to make the fight more exciting as we watch it, no early cashing out, if I lose my bet, that's it, no regrets whatsoever. At least you can see that the fight is really that good and you have a chance to win big money and that is the risk that you understand when you bet on the underdog.
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and misinformation on: November 07, 2023, 01:33:49 AM
Bitcoin as the father of all cryptocurrency have hard it ups and down since it came into existence, but what I observe lately is the misinformation about Bitcoin that got me worried like in this time and age, people still take Bitcoin as a scam.

I wouldn't deny that in my early days of investment, I really was unconvinced by the presentation i had about Bitcoin, which I took it as one of these fraudster trying to milk the general public as mmm did, but with time, after doing some research and finding I discovered how misinformed I was about it.

Right now most people are like me years back, they are totally misinformed about Bitcoin, the best I do for them right now is to educate them about it, which some even told me what they think Bitcoin was, which is totally untrue about it.
but in as much as am trying to share knowledge about Bitcoin to those who lack it, I don't try to force it on anyone so they won't see me as a scam.

I guess it is to be expected, specially when a new technology like Bitcoin comes along as it is the first time that we have witnessed crypto (although we have something prior and it gave Satoshi his inspiration). And with that, it's human nature to be afraid of what's new as we resists change, specially the fiat and the banking system. They see crypto more of a threat, but for us it's a alternative.

And Bitcoin is still fairly young to begin with, so there is going to be a learning curved, and there will be negative things that we will here from it's detractors specially in 2017 when it was one of the best year for Bitcoin as people around the world was very curious at the same time there are a lot of attacks. Nevertheless, we will continue to march in the next 10 years or so and I don't think that those misinformation will be enough to stop this revolution.
770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using TV( GOTV, DSTV) monthly subscription money to invest in bitcoin on: November 07, 2023, 01:13:16 AM
Given the increasing cost of TV subscriptions in my country like GOTV, DSTV, etc. I often find myself watching the same movies every month. Sometimes, I can't even watch them due to a lack of power supply, making me feel like I'm wasting my money. So, I've had an idea: what if I were to invest the money I usually spend on my GOtv subscription, which often goes unused, into Bitcoin? Many people pay for these subscriptions but aren't satisfied with the content. I'm just thinking out loud, but by diverting the funds from TV subscriptions into Bitcoin, I believe I could potentially achieve greater satisfaction.
The package I do is Gotv Supa which is about 6400 every month. I'm thinking of reducing my package to a lower one like  Gotv Jinga which is about 2250 for the sake of the kids so they can watch their favorite cartoon and I  get to save 4150 amount into Bitcoin.

What do you all think about this idea?

I think not only TV subscriptions, but there could be ways not just for you but for others to cut their cost as we all know that everything now is very expensive. Even going to cinema or going out to eat or even gambling habits could be eliminated or at least be minimized to a certain extend and then put that money to invest in Bitcoin or any other assets for that matter.

And I think it's no secret though, we have heard this from successful investors, first they pay off their debts, and not cut their living cost and they call it delayed gratification. So you have to take a lot of sacrifices if you want to be a investor and doesn't have that big capital to begin with.

It's going to be boring for the majority of us, but we should prioritized thing and make the right decision, not just for us, but for our families as well.
771  Economy / Speculation / Re: What did you think will happen to Bitcoin before January? on: November 05, 2023, 11:08:14 PM
In general, November, December and January are some of the best months for investing. Besides, the upcoming bitcoin ETF and halving means that there are really a lot of green flags and I don't know why to sell now. in my opinion it's best to hold now until the ETF releases. Untill the official news, in my opinion we will see green months. The day of the announcement will be a day of a short pump and then months of profit-taking for those who are now buying, so it will certainly be a good place to open short or at least realize some of the profits from currently held positions.
The last quarter of the year are obviously the best months of the year since bitcoin will experience more positive position in the market compared to the other months. However, this will also greatly depend on the factors that may affect the market and bitcoin. And since we are expecting two big events early by next year, then most probably we will witness a price correction that will set bitcoin price into another level, or maybe a short price decline before the massive price increase sets to happen.

All these will remain assumptions until proven when we cross the bridge by that time.  So let's just wait and see.

If we look though at the past history of Bitcoin, it seems that you are correct, last quarter of the year is very big for us as maybe one reason is that everyone is preparing for the block halving and so we think that they are buying as the price is still very cheap at this point. Halving is still next year, but it's better if we are going to invest like 5 - 6 months before the actual date.

So for know I think that is the mentality of most investors, specially long term, they look past this year and wanted to be ready for the next bull run in the next 2 years. But for shor term investors, they might want to sell some when the price reaches $40k-$50k at the end of the year to make profits.

Definitely, win-win situation for everyone, regardless of what is their goal in the market. They have just to be smart on when to sell and then when to reinvest.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys believe in other people luck and try to copy them? on: November 05, 2023, 10:41:45 PM
Whenever I am low on cash on the casino I play which includes a sport book I like to copy other people bets, usually parlays with odds over 1000 and I think to myself who cares if I play for example 50 bets copying other people with 200 IDR as my base bet,if any of these guys hits it big I will do to.Notice that I put 1000 as a minimum here but the reality is that I have been copying bets with over 700.000 as odds,I damn love these huge multipliers yet no one has got such one in sport betting.

Of course in here it is not about skill or luck games anymore but it is about destiny,so tell me how many of you are deceived by dreams that may change your destiny like I am  Grin?
Wont really be that bad if you do have that kind of thinking yet as long you are making use of the amounts which you are really that afford to lose then it should be fine.
Having those kind of parlays which involves tons of games then it would really be that totally frustrating if that 49 games won and then the last 1 had lost.
Then you would really be punching up the wall because of such disappointment.  Grin

I think that's what the OP is trying to say here, in Stake you will see the bet of others gamblers, unless they want to make their account private. Buti in any case, you might want to try this strategy and see how it fits you. Yes there is risk, but what are the chances that you suddenly copy a gambler with a huge bet odds like 500x-1000x and then won? That will be the best feeling of a gambler and you will have to thank that individual for giving you that win.

But then again, it's not always going to work your way, still base on luck. So yeah, maybe for some at least try it once and see how it goes for you. Just a little money wouldn't hurt us, IMHO.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best advice or should I just let him on: November 05, 2023, 09:51:04 PM
I'd like to ask the community I have a newly moved neighbor he is a widowed senior citizen and he lives alone with a house helper, all his children are now professionals and he is a pensioner, we talked a lot about many things  I just noticed that he is very active on online casinos and other gambling activities like lotto and cock fighting every weekend, his children do not know his activities and I'm afraid he is getting addicted.

Maybe as a senior and widowed, perhaps he is just enjoying his life? And it seems from the way you portray him, he is rich with just a house helper with him all the time. So he can pay that house helper to be with him and so maybe he has nothing to do in his everyday life. His children are no longer with him, so just imagine you were like in the 70's and you are alone then of course you will think of some ways and maybe gambling is his escape in the last remaining days of his life.

Should I give him advice on how to manage his gambling activities or I just let him since he is just enjoying his senior years and doing things that he missed doing when he was still young? and what's the right approach, we all know senior citizens are sensitive to criticism.

Very hard to advise mate, it's really up to you. Maybe you can tell his children in a nice way about their parents playing and that your concern is that he might turn into a gambling addict, simply as that. So it's really up to them on how they are going to react, if they are professionals already maybe they know what is up already or perhaps they have an idea that their father is already on gambling.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 05, 2023, 09:19:57 PM
I'm just curious and would like to get the consensus of the community, should casinos sponsor sites that deal with gambling addiction and cure, we can't deny that the gambling addiction percentage is very high in this generation,

I just stumbled one site about gambling addiction it's a free help for those addicted to gambling, there are many more related sites and facilities.
Do you think it is the obligation of casinos online or offline?

It is casinos' way to repay those who put in a lot of money and get addicted or they shouldn't care because it's the gamblers' initiative to play.

Not sure though if these casinos are willing because it's going to affect them, business wise. I think for me the initiative should come from the government themselves. But in any case, maybe there are also some well known casinos who are directly giving money to the government to create those sites to help their population. It might not be known to us, but with the casinos making huge money and government somewhat putting pressures on them and work hand in hand, yeah there might a good way for the casinos to show their support.

They've already have this kind of "gambling responsible" program or self-exclusion, I see this from online and traditional based casinos already.

You can put it that way, it's kinda giving back to the community and help those who become addicted to gambling. But then again, it's going to be cyclical as gamblers are born like every minute or at least someone is trying to get their hands on gambling.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 05, 2023, 01:54:33 PM
We did have a fight this weekends with Cordina vs Edward Vazquez. I wouldn't say it's a good fight but Cordina is the huge favorite here and I thought that he is going to knockout Vazquez. However, the fight lasted the full 12 rounds and won on a majority decision and retained his IBF super featherweight.

This is Cordina's second reign as he was stripped in 2022 because he had a injury and can't defend his belt.

And this is good because next we will see Navarette fighting Conceição in the undercard of Stevenson vs Delos Santos. Most likely the winner could face Cordina for the unification fight and it could be very exciting.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spirituality and Betting - Do they Have any Connection? on: November 04, 2023, 11:42:28 PM
My question to the OP is that what is the difference between Spirituality and Religion? Because I think there is a huge difference. In the Christian religion, betting is called a sin likewise in Islam as well as some other religions. Spirituality on the other hand is ones connection to their religious faith - the things they do and not do, they behaviours others. The connection between religion, spirituality, and betting is not the same across all religions. With the advent of new age religions, some are more liberal and some conservative. My personal opinion on this is that, if you are going to bet, do what you will with your religion if you think it is going to be of any help in the result of the bet.

I guess there's no difference at all in my opinion, everyone connects spirituality with religion because we can't discuss one without mentioning the others. So in this context, I believed that the OP is talking about a supreme being regardless of what religion we have and asking everyone if there is such a connection.

Of course some of us here might not believed in God so it's a moot point for them. There is no cause and effect, everything happen to us because of the result of what we do in life including gambling. But for those who are into religion and let's say a practicing Christian or Catholic, of course, it's a sin and we should get God involved in our gambling and ask for his divine assistance because it will not happen. Gambling is still base on luck and risk.
777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: November 04, 2023, 11:16:45 PM
The days of Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield were memorable but are resigned to the history books.

True, but I think it was way easier to elevate boxers to high-level celebrity status (i.e. recognisable by millions worldwide) in the past than it is now. Simply because we had a television as a main source of information and all news were reporting on the main boxing events. Nowadays sources of information are decentralised, and often times algorithms on social media would lock people in information bubbles, so any up-and-coming fighters struggle to reach a wider audience, outside of die-hard boxing fans. This means we might never see another "golden era" of boxing similar to what we've had in the past.

Times has really change isn't it, I remember way back when we can't watch the fight live and it's always delayed in our country. The only way to known the score is to tune in in the old and traditional way, radio.

As for this fight, yeah, it's a bit controversial as many have thought that Ngannou won the fight specially he scored that knockdown to make the score 10-8. But it was just one round and there are a lot of rounds that is very close hard to score. But as we all know, usually if that is the case, the judges are going to award the score to the champion, so here, that is why the score or at least 2 of the judges saw it for Fury.

But if Ngannou wanted to proved himself, he just have to wait, for sure there are boxers that is willing to fight him, not just those in the top, but maybe in the top 5-10 because it's a win-win situation, they will get to test how good Francis really is, and obviously the money that they are going to get fighting one of the most hype boxers right now.
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between crypto gamblers - regular gamblers on: November 04, 2023, 12:45:10 PM

I have the feeling that in the near future, the competion will be fierce that conventional casinos will adopt crypto in other to remain in business.

It's already happening and Crypto casinos are already taking the lead, just look at the sponsorships of big sporting events being headlines by Cryptocasinos, I cannot name a single traditional fiat-based casino that is popular now more than the top Crypto casinos in the industry.
It's not a question of competition anymore it is a question of when will all these traditional or fiat-based casinos will integrate or include Cryptocurrency in their platform.

True, I mean in the pandemic, we have seen a lot of crypto based gambling suddenly popping out in our community and up to this day they are still in the mix and the competition are very tough as they wanted to take a big slice on this billion dollar industry. So once in a while we will see new casinos, unlike land base wherein we haven't heard any new one because just the cost of establishing one is billion dollar and it might take years before they can get a decent ROI.

So definitely competition is here and I will not be surprised if crypto based will be on the top of the game right now. Maybe the OP is right that crypto gamblers are not that easily trick because of the way we wanted to play in this casinos, we looks for trust and reputation before we will deposit some money and play with.
779  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $BTC soar beyond 35K or dip below? 🚀📉 on: November 02, 2023, 01:25:17 PM
I personally still remain optimistic about the current cryptocurrency market and the recent increase in Bitcoin prices as something positive after the previous decline and currently if we pay attention there are no clear signs of decline BTC is still at the same level and heading towards reversal. yes. current running price $34,192.
I think it will most likely decided after fed's decision about rates. United States Dollar as currency lost so much value after inflation mainly caused by printing extraordinary amount of money when pandemic started. Its so sad but I think moment fed stops raising the bar, bitcoin may experience short term but very burst moves towards upwards. I am not as optimistic as you for midterm tho. I think bitcoin will get another correction at point probably around the end of this month I suppose.

Bitcoin has risen quite high in recent days so expectations of continued growth are quite subjective.  I have the same thoughts as you, perhaps there will be a correction and we need to evaluate afterwards to know whether the market will continue to go up or continue to decline.  bitcoin crossed $35k after the Fed's statement on keeping interest rates unchanged and people are very optimistic because of that news, people are becoming more greedy with the market.  so I think it's time for us to be wary of everything as greed in the market is becoming greater.

The sentiments has really shifted, and now we are in a bullish state, and so just recently we have seen the price going above $35,000 so that is a good sign that this November, we might see the continuation of the bullishness that we have in October. Just imagine the spike, from $28k-$35.

And then from the lowest low last year same time, of $15,500 to the current price. And if I'm not mistaken that is a big $127% spike already.

So this is just the beginning, this November might be another great month for us, and we might see $40,000 for the first time this cycle.

I’m a new member here, and I want to gamble on online casinos. I found some good trusted casinos. And I want to begin with a game with a low budget. First, I need your suggestions about the best games, slots. Live casino for a beginner.
Do you think Me starting gambling would effect me in my real life or make me addicted to gambling. What’s you suggestion and advices.

Not to burst the bubble to the OP, but that's how everyone here started, from small capital and low budget and we say that we are in control of everything and that we will not get addicted. But years later, down the road, we become addicted to it, regardless if you are a sports bettor or play any other games like slot machines etc.

Of course everyone will be affected in real life, specially as I have said, if you become addicted to it. But we can't advise you not to gamble as we all have gambling signatures here. The best thing to do is just have control and that is the only advise that we can give to you.
