So sad! The other goats no longer want to socialize with him.

They've even gone as far and bleated "Rainbow!" at his direction. Looks like my goats have turned Zerlanist.
7643  Other / Off-topic / Re: Now, Josh has gone too far and crossed the line! on: July 28, 2013, 04:34:27 PM
but it's fabulous!

I wouldn't  want to see what Josh did to that lovey goat, behind closed doors.

7644  Other / Off-topic / Re: [puzzle] Work out a 4 word pass phrase and collect 0.1 BTC on: July 28, 2013, 04:15:08 PM
I'm sure I got it but I can't make it work

Case sensitively could be the issue (hint second word starts with a lower case letter).

Hence, UCword/LCword/UCword/LCword

I was taken aback with the dates on the chart at the bottom of this page:

Another WTF moment. Am I living in a time warp?

WTF! Only halfway through the first page and it has Satoshi as some Japanese dude and Bitcoin-Central as a viable entity.

Very kind of you Grin
I can even add some rocks if you want to reward more than one banker

Darn it, Joe - there you go. Destroying a perfectly entertaining borderline paranoid delusional rant, by means of injecting some fact into the field of play.

you guys love drama
 Cool

Ironically, in RL I loathe it, but learnt to love to bomb online ever since I got fucked indirectly by the Bitcoinica fiasco, of which time I stumbled upon the BFL threads seeing shit that shouldn't have been occurring, but was. Now I'm waiting for the return of over $100K from InstaWallet that they were so kind to hold for me for the past four months.

Josh can't even come here and offer up a simple reply to the FCC cert issue, but he sure has a lotta time on his ass to pen post about me being the biggest piece of shit he's ever met.

And what did this piece of shit do to deserve such ridicule? Bring attention to misinformation, sometimes of which was in error, but always with the best interest of fellow bitcoiners in heart. What has Josh done to show that he has the same empathy for fellow bitcoiners? He goes on record and states that all on BitcoinTalk are monumental assholes.

How does Sonny reward Josh for making such a comment? Search this forum using the words Amen! and mantra.

I just noticed Joe's comment above. You know what I took away from it? It was written in a civil tone. Do you know how far that goes? A long motherfuckin' way!

If a mistake is made directed at an entity, then that entity comes around and shows civilly where the mistake was made, chances are not much more will come out of it. But if the same entity retorts by sticking it your ass, avoiding the main issue, then there's something amiss. That's the difference between Joe's Data Center and Josh/BFL.

With that, apologies Joe, though I never really believed that you were hiding anything. Unfortunately, the same can't be said of BFL, when they were givin' every opportunity to set the records straight. Image where they would be, and what they would be worth if only they had been straight with their fellow bitcoiners.
7654  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGOX WTF is going on? on: July 28, 2013, 03:24:15 AM
I think that happened sometime ago, you need to submit your verification and have it approved before you can do anything at Mtgox nowadays.

With the exception of depositing, that is.

There's not a bank in world that I can walk into and open an account without providing ID, yet Mt Gox can take your Bitcoin deposit without knowing exactly who you are, but when it comes time to withdraw your own funds, you have to jump through rings like a trained dog.

Here's my take: If this is true that a person needs to now show ID to withdraw their bitcoins, then Mt Gox just drove the last nail in their coffin, and everybody should get out ASAP.

Rumor has it that there's an excellent credit union here in the US that accepts bitcoins. As far as trading goes, give it a few months when open trading in the open (literally) will be all the rage in every major city in the world, not counting a few villages as well.

7656  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs shipping 300 units a day on: July 28, 2013, 03:01:35 AM
I'm not sure where you are getting your data, but BFL is the only company shipping ASIC's in any meaningful quantity and hashrate at the moment

Keep your fingers in your ears and chant, "Avalon is not shipping. Avalon is not shipping." That should make it true.

You know damn well Josh is going to come back at you, highlighting the word "meaningful" don't you? His statement has to be true because a reporter came out and penned an article that BFL is truly in full production mode, assembling and shipping 300 units a day, of which is really 400 a day as I've so proven in another thread.

Josh will even go as far as to state that Avalon doesn't even take the time to even answer simple question when asked, all things being even.
7657  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hosting BFL miners at J Morgan & Associates? on: July 28, 2013, 02:54:18 AM
Hello,

I wanted to clarify some things that are being said or at least insinuated here. My name is Joe Morgan I own and operate both Joe's Datacenter, LLC and J Morgan & Associates, LLC (aka kcmocolo.com). They are separate companies with separate facilities but I use one address for mailing. I am the SOLE owner of both company's and have no affiliation with Butterfly Labs other than they are sending their customers to us for hosting as they decided not to do it themselves. I cannot speak for BFL or Josh as to where he has hosted in the past but I will say that almost anything hosted in Kansas City is going to be in one of three or four buildings downtown all within a couple blocks of eachother. You could find hundreds of hosting companies that show one of those buildings as their address or as a place they host and they are still completely different companies. Josh has never been an employee or part owner of any of my companies and is not on the payroll. Aaron owns another datacenter in Kansas City and we have both had facilities in the same buildings but otherwise we are unaffiliated as well. KCIX that was mentioned is a peering exchange which the entire point of peering exchanges is that local close by data centers can run a network cable between eachother to save bandwidth on outside carriers when the traffic was going between them anyway. As for Morgansites.com that is my parents web hosting business and they were in fact my first customer and hosting their server was how I got into the hosting business. Not sure the relevance. My father ran for political office this last year and I managed a phone system for him and purchased that phone number for that purpose. Now that his campaign is over I still had the number and used it for this company. I don't see what the relevance of my parents or the phone number has to do with anything other than Phinnaeus trying to point out how good his Google skills are. I say that somewhat Joking and don't mean to offend but for someone telling people to do the research because xyz then not actually doing the research as to if xyz are true makes you a hypocrite. Phinnaeus please feel free to call me Telephone: +1 816 335 4115 and I will do my best to help clarify whatever you need. I would appreciate if you would give me the chance to explain my situation before trying to scare potential customers away when you have never done business with me and have little knowledge of how my company actually operates.

Thanks,
Joe Morgan

In reference to the bold above, lets see if I can refresh your memory: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=112832.msg1223379#msg1223379

About The Company

Joe’s Datacenter is located on the 26th floor of the Oak Tower building in downtown Kansas City, MO.

Josh just happened to forget his other location since late 2004: http://web.archive.org/web/20060901124114/http://www.communityhosting.net/faqs.html#cat0_0

Which data center are your servers located at?

Our servers are located in downtown Kansas City, MO in the Bryant Building. The Bryant Building is a state of the art data center, monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

May I ask what is current bigest problem in delivery? Production, PCB and other components, manpower or what?

In my humble opinion, all of the above with a liberal sprinkling of Dunning-Kruger.

A mix of the following:
-higher-than-expected scrap, rework, testing, resulting in unfavorable production costs,
-overspending in development of other products with no prospects of near-term sales,
-lack of technical competence
-lack of organizational focus,
-inability or unwillingness to improve current designs,
-lack or inadequate production planning,
-overspending in marketing,
-overspending in executive compensation, perks, travel,
-overspending in discretionary fluff not contributing to operations,

Causing a lack of cash available for operations, whose consequences are:
-shortage of raw materials as unpaid suppliers suspend deliveries,
-shortage of good components,
-inability to hire, retain, or train factory staff
-degraded customer service as the installed-base expands
-inability to expand current operations (i.e. factory equipment, space, warehouse)

This, in turn, shows up externally in a couple key ways:
-belligerent customer interactions
-order cancellations
-shipment delays

And we only have myself and a handful of über-monumental assholes to blame.

Well, the joke's on me, I'm off to join the circus
Oh, Mr. Barnum, save a place for me
Shoot me out of a cannon, I don't care
Let the people point at me and stare
I'll tell the world that I sucked off Sonny V
And those mean bitcoiners made a cryin' clown outta me

I'm not here as a BFL rep

Sure you are. You even bid for advertising here.

I, too, Syke, once pointed out this very fact not too long ago. You can easily multiply that post by 100 posts similar to it, for there were close to 100 rounds to date with Inaba putting in multiple bids in many of the threads.

no we do not want to sell miners or chips to people who are more trouble than they are worth as far as customers go.

THERE IT IS FOLKS!

We want customers who give us their money and let us use it for 13+ months and when we eventually deliver them their useless paperweight they shut the fuck up and be happy they MAY have a chance to get their money back and nothing else.

Get your resume' polished Josh, once the last unit is delivered all that is left is the lawsuits and the layoffs.

I don't think Josh has to worry about future employment, even if he's not sitting in some jail cell with a juicy black dick up his ass. The fact of the matter is he's probably networked with enough people possessing the same elk, he'll have no problem finding future kneeling positions, and I don't mean of the Amen kind, albeit Amen! will be the mantra stemming from the dude not kneeling.

I'm not sure where you are getting your data, but BFL is the only company shipping ASIC's in any meaningful quantity and hashrate at the moment and looks to be for the next month if you believe any of the estimates out there (which are, frankly, quite unlikely to come to pass), or for the next few months once reality catches up with many of the clones and new vendors.  This is just speculation of my part, of course, but the facts at the moment are BFL is the only ASIC company shipping consumer devices in any reasonable quantity/hashrate.  If the BE's drop to .6 BTC, they might see a return on their investment, but I doubt it even then.

Either I'm an idiot or Josh is speaking in riddles again.

Josh, please don't comment on this post unless you're prepare to answer the following simple question: What's the status of the FCC certification process?
