7721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunter's Problem on: September 29, 2018, 03:36:40 PM
It's that True if you are a truly bounty hunter you will experienced to promote a scam project ico ?

Well I don't think that you wanted to promote a ICO isn't it. But if you are not careful in joining bounties there are chance that you might unintentionally though.

That's the risk of joining bounties because its like gambling, you don't know if the project that you are promoting will turn out to be a scam and of course you wouldn't received the tokens or rewards that you have work hard for.

Sometimes those scammy ICO are hard to detect that's why you need to be very mindful of projects you are willing to work for. Fortunately though, you can visit this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 to see if the project you wanted to promote is a scam or not.
7722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google and Facebook go back on their position towards cryptocurrencies; Bitcoin, on: September 29, 2018, 02:13:08 PM
I guess no intention of deleting their previous restrictions on related posts on Facebook and Google Crypto. In my opinion, Facebook and Google will accept bitcoin for their improvement. To maintain the trend, social media must accept this currency. People say they are not important, I would say that they may have more impact than TV or media these days. Still for new coins or projects, it is a good means to reach out to potential investors. Big tech corporations have backed the encryption market again for life.

Sorry but i have to disagree. Facebook and Google won't accept bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency because its too volatile. What they are trying to do though, is take advantage of crypto by allowing adverts on their platforms. So it will look that they are friendly to crypto but just to take a pie of this billion dollar industry.

This is a good news, i believe bitcoin and others will moon soon. Facebook and Google does not rule the world but they are very important when it come to advert.

Sorry but this kind of news won't bring crypto on the recovery phase and will not go to the moon. Of course there are a lot of social media that we can use to target potential investors but those 2 are giants so it really makes sense for marketers to used their platforms for adverts.
7723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Story of crypto market on: September 29, 2018, 01:35:21 PM
Crypto market is full of blood and tears.
Certainly many people who enter this market long enough will have losses money, even lot of money.
I've lost a lot money because of the margin. When I think I know everything about this market. That moment I was gone.
Have you ever lost a lot of money? Please share with me your story about this market. I want to learn from you. Thanks a lot.
The truth remains that anyone who hasn't lost money in cryptocurrency is yet to make a purchase. Profit and loss is the name of this game. It has wrecked more people than it has turned out millionaires. The industry follows the kitchen principle: If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen

This is true. Those who hasn't lost are those people who are just speculating from behind and as if they are real experts in trading. LMAO.

But if you are going to look closely, those people haven't had any experience in trading. This bear market has really brought majority of us from brink of quitting crypto (at least on my end), however, I just look a the bright side of it and thinking that this is how the early adopters or those who are in the bear season from 2013-2014 and some of them survived up to the last all-time-high and take a lot of profits.

So let us be that person now, lets take this bear season in stride and hope that break out can happen anytime within the remaining months or the start of 2019.
7724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear time is near to end on: September 29, 2018, 12:00:19 PM
His name sounds familiar though. Anyways, this last couple of days, I heard a lot of bullish predictions so I'm guessing that speculators are really hoping for a sudden shift on the overall sentiments now.

Truth to be told, no one has the crystal ball to say where the price could go in the future. However, those patterns exist for one thing, to help us strategized and be flexible on our tradings.

I'm not convinced that the bull market is starting yet, but I do believe the bottom has been put in.. I feel like we will have sideways consolidation for most of Oct/Nov and see a slight curve out of this falling wedge then.. Don't expect 20k anytime soon without ETF but you may can return to normalcy somewhere between 7-10k and alts will be at least somewhat less effected.

I'm no longer getting the hype from ETF's to really push the market. If you notice, the postponement didn't even affected us negatively so I guess traders are moving forward with or with ETFs.
7725  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Gambling Website on: September 29, 2018, 07:59:35 AM

Don't know your username eh?   Wink

You're new to bitcointalk.

I'm sorry I don't remember my username after not logging into this website in 2 years making a random pseudonym.  I'm only on here to put a stronger team together.  I probably won't ever be using this site again, and will forget my username eventually too.

And where are you going to promote your website? Those marketers who will joined will eventually go here to market your product so I suggest you build not just a good team but a solid reputation around. Not just create a profile here and then BOOM you are all gone.

As @Kakmakr has pointed out, a lot of successful crypto related gambling sites started their journey here from dice sites to sports bet. So if I where in your shoes, I will definitely go on-board and get a fell on how this forums works specially for your potential customers. Here is a link for Gambling related discussions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0.
7726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum fail if Vitalik dies? on: September 29, 2018, 07:28:21 AM
What do you think will happen with Ethereum if Vitalik Buterin's death is confirmed? Will the price crash and the project fail? Or would it continue to grow into infinity and beyond? I'm concerned about this, since previously, there were rumors about Vitalik's death which caused the price of Ethereum to fall drastically within the cryptocurrency market. Fortunately, Vitalik showed proof that he was alive, which calmed the downfall of Ethereum's price.

Well the first rumor says it already. If by any chance Vitalik died then it will sent shock wave to Ethereum holders and for sure they're going to panic and immediately push the sell button. It's going to be a nightmare for Lubin (co-founder) to carry on the legacy of Vitalik and see that Ethereum can survived without Vitalik Buterin. Leaders really do matter in this market, and with enigmatic presence, Vitalik is very hard to emulate and if someone took his place it going to be difficult. Just like when Steve Jobs untimely demise.

However, if Vitalik dies, many things could happen either good or bad. Perhaps, Ethereum may fall if Vitalik dies, because he's been leading the project every step of the way. By not having a leader, the Ethereum project will disorientate itself into oblivion, IMO. Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Roll Eyes

Just like I said, Ethereum will suffer, can go to 2 digits (worst case scenario). As Ethereum for me is also like Bitcoin now, a speculative assets that every news whether its positive or negative has a drastic effect on the price.
7727  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening with cryptocurrency ?? on: September 29, 2018, 06:23:33 AM
Actually what happened to the market and BTC now? then what about the Altcoin situation that also follows a graph that continues to decline.
I think I have to stay calm for a while and spend time with my family at home.
 Lips sealed Lips sealed Huh

I mean Bitcoin is still holding and going strong so I don't know what's the complain is all about. As for the decline of the price, its pretty obvious that we have reached a bubble in 2017 and it has been burst in 2018. Its just a normal thing in a market such as bitcoin.

But for altcoins is totally different. Just look at Ethereum right now, it had suffered almost 90% from its previous all-time-high because investors and those ICO's that hold thousands of Ethereum at some point are dumping and will continue to dump it.

Yes, its better to spend quality time with your family and not be bothered by the market crash. I'm sure that it will recover, just a matter of time.
7728  Economy / Speculation / Re: I never held this much bitcoins. on: September 29, 2018, 06:06:46 AM
I jus dump half my investment from stocks into btc. Now I'm fully invested in bitcoin. Before I had invested in bch and it dumped. While I converted to fiat. Long story but I'm still alive after the ath 19k n buying the dip. I thought it was going to 4k. But i guess its a good time to buy now. Best of luck.

You mean you are going long on bitcoin right now? Nothing wrong's with that strategy but I hope that you have that mentally to really fight temptations to dump it when the market is on a panic mode.

If you are in it for a long haul a good 1-2 years will be good test and see how it goes for you. I'm glad that you made the switch from BCH->BTC because that coin is for pump-and-dump. Yes you can enjoy the ride but sooner or later who will go and suffer a lost. Goodluck then and just wait for the next all-time-high before taking some profits.
7729  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hodl or sell right now ? on: September 28, 2018, 08:40:53 PM
Will you hold bitcoin for bull market or you will sell it now ? Bitocoin as well as other altcoins are in green at the moment and this week is proving out to be a better week for crypto world so are you gonna sell all your bitcoins before there is any further market drop or you will hold it for bull market if it happens this year ? Or else you would like to sell Joe and reinvest when price dips again ?

For bull market, its better to hold and see how it goes. Majority sell though to get profits, while others cash out for emergency purposes so it really depends on the investors. Its good though to see that the market is green but we have seen the same pattern over and over again so its better to see and observed what will be the overall sentiments in the next coming days. If you notice the drop wasn't that bad either, bitcoin has recovered from the last bottom of $5800 and I don't see touching that price again.

If you don't have any reasons to sell then I advise not to.
7730  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Markets contra indicators. on: September 27, 2018, 10:00:08 AM
What is this Waves hype in the last couple of days? A couple of threads have been popping around and someone even dig the grave out of its Bitcoin Signature Campaign in the Service section? LMAO.

Are there any news around (just like the XRP pump) that might pump Waves as well? Can someone point me out to the right link or so? I'm interested to see it as well.

Edit: I found this news: https://kryptomoney.com/waves-smart-contractcs-activated/

Maybe this is the one why Waves is slowly gaining in the last 48 hours or so.
7731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should investors trust ethereum anymore? on: September 27, 2018, 09:42:07 AM
In the past few days I've seen the price of ethereum fluctuating as a new entrant in this field. What should I do to buy or sell out need advice from a specialist or switch from eth to eos for investment I see The eos is growing ever since it overcame eth in the future

First you have to understand what factors drove Ethereum to a crazy downward spin. Yes, its the ICO itself (scammy or not). They are the one that brought Ethereum to its all-time-high but they are also the culprit on the current price of it.

EOS is now a competitor, but why shift to them? If I'm in your shoes, I would move all my funds to where the money is, and that is bitcoin. Just go to cmc and look at its dominance, its above 50% meaning more and more altcoins bagholders are liquidating their Ethereum and moving to bitcoin now, makes sense to me.
7732  Economy / Speculation / Re: The occurrence of bitcoin price movements from year to year on: September 27, 2018, 09:29:10 AM
Everything we see, is that the price always fluctuates. But price comes up from a general point of view. However, at the end of the year there not always should be a rise in prices, so this year is not guaranteed to be more successful than the year in the pass.

Exactly, bitcoin price always seems to fluctuates every like 2-3 years.

2013-2014 bearish trend
2015-17 bullish trend

I understand that past performance does not guarantee future success but if you don't want to make things complicated for you just look at the whole picture and you can decide when is the possible year that bitcoin can make a good run at the market. With that said, I see that we will keep on struggling this year but 2019 will be a bit different as it might signal the start of the bull run leading to the next halving in 2020.
7733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HAS BITCOIN REALLY STOOD THE TEST OF TIME? on: September 27, 2018, 07:51:15 AM

Crypto has to only stand the delayed ETF and after it whether its approved or not, this will continue to flourish. This forum is writing its origin and will continue to  write from its history to its current state. It will stand the test and will beat the bankers and the rothchilds. They will try to keep controlling this new world currency since they can't stop it but the growing numbers of coins is going to prevail so all hail the blockchain Smiley

Nah, I don't think that ETF news mattered. We're all getting tired from this news, we might as well totally forgot about them. Besides we're not sure if it can really push the price to the next level as what other news outlet is trying to say. I'm not really sure as well about the "Rothchilds theory" of yours.  Grin

I would say that we somewhat go over and pass a lot of test during our young existence. Their will be a lot of test coming along the way, but bitcoin is so resilient that I have no doubt that whatever issues or problems that we are going to face in the future, we will overcame it and become stronger as we go along.

7735  Economy / Speculation / Re: Topped out at another 0.618 Fib Retracement. on: September 25, 2018, 09:12:07 PM
This is just another ETF decline but according to SEC "The SEC won’t approve an ETF until there’s significant development "

The postponed was already history. We have seen people bought a lot after the postponement news so I don't think that the current pull back now something to do with SEC.

That is why they are always trying to offer ETF's until SEC decide to approve it.
Well, this is just a normal fall so it won't break the support at $6k and possibly the price of bitcoin can recovery back as soon as another event coming.

Yes, we can call this normal as we have seen traps being set by whales and manipulators. They just decided to cash it out in the last couple of days and nothing more. After this downward trend, they will push it back again. Rinse and repeat. Players will be players and they have set the rules.
7736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YOU CANNOT EAT YOUR CAKE AND HAVE IT. on: September 25, 2018, 08:27:10 PM
The price of bitcoin is red on the market so you want to do panic selling?
Trust me, if you get scared today and sell your bitcoins, and the market gets better tomorrow, what happens?

You cannot eat your cake and have it back.

I don't think that there is a panic. What we are witnessing are speculators and smart investors who invested at around $6200-$6300 taking profits and cashing it out.

Those noobs are already out of the market when the price hits below 5 digits. As to what happens, just like what happens in the last couple of months. Manipulation.

Big players are setting up a bull run and bot traders already put their orders in place. So its a avalanche and after effects that's why the price goes down in the last 48 hours.
7737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Trade By The News, Follow The Price Action on: September 25, 2018, 08:11:08 PM
Most of time we are trying to figure out why prices are down and that's the truth, but we generally do not feel like enquiring much when prices rise and we all sit taking our gadgets or desktop in any crpto exchange. So its better we do thorough research on both price rising and falling.

Of course, people have that tendency not to care if the price is going up because that's what we all have been wanted to see. That's why I do like what had happen to us this year. Its a good lessons for us.

News will be news after-all they are just simple fortelling and sometimes fud.
We need to understand the technology and hold/hodl strong for what we believe in,after-all crypto is something which will always be circulating in the market and remember there will always be someone somewhere who is trying to evade taxes LOL.... Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue

The problem is that investors usually newbie tend to fall to FUD and majority of them really don't understand how risky investing in crypto is. They didn't do their homework and just wasted their money by throwing on the market and not understand how the system operates.

7739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC currency unit is too complicated to accepted widely. on: September 22, 2018, 03:45:26 PM
I notice when i explain "what is bitcoin and how bitcoin will become the huge payment system" to my wife(who didnt know anything about bitcoin). Then she states something that i want to share. Its from newbie in cryptos yet experienced in bank economic.

Do you think bitcoin wont be accepted with so many zeros in BTC or satoshi unit? For the price to be used in daily payment. BTC is so complicated to understand widely. Think this with a point of very low degree of education.

You have a point. However, you cite you one example and I think most of us can relate to this. When I was starting in my bitcoin journey, I was also confused, I also make a lot of mistakes. But as I explore more and understand how it works, I got the feel of it. What I'm trying to say is that it could be hard in the beginning, but as you familiarized with the terms and the 0's and satoshi's and 0.01BTC, its gonna be easy and its not complicated as others have been portraying it for years.

I think we need to invent something more stupid-free in btc currency unit.
Kindly share your thoughts. 😊

Nope. Bitcoin is fine.
