801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone made a fortune from airdrops? on: November 12, 2017, 09:52:01 PM
Not airdrops but I saw someone on this forum that had created a thread saying he made a fortune on bounties by just letting them sit. Its probably true a lot of coins that are quite old and in the top100 did have bounties, let em sit for long enough and those holdings could have increased by 10000% or more.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash surpasses the market cap of Ethereum on: November 12, 2017, 09:49:59 PM
Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, in Twitter congratulated Bitmain founder Jihan Wu and bitcoin angel investor Roger Ver on the recent success of Bitcoin Cash, particularly in the South Korean market.

How it will be to evolve in the future, what do you think?

"BTG BITCOIN-GOLD Market Cap Overtakes Bitcoin" ( see You can post anything, but should it be true? )

https://coinmarketcap.com/coins/

Can U check cap's before you post assertions?

No it hasn't

 2
Ethereum    $29,520,467,780    $308.51    $1,548,800,000    95,687,231 ETH    -2.71%    sparkline
3
Bitcoin Cash    $24,197,580,008    $1440.33    $8,321,760,000    16,800,025 BCH    9.28%    sparkline

ETH is some $5 B more than BCH, why  do U misrepresent?

ETH is just as much of a over-hyped shit-coin as bch, ... that part I agree.

Perhaps it's in ETH's interest to destroy BTC, to put ETH in front?

The deal here is there are lots of PLAYERS and they all want to be king,

Like asshole "Peter Theil" (paypal) always says "The game is to have a monopoly, to OWN IT ALL"

BCH briefly passed Ethereum's marketcap on its peak to quickly lose about 50% of its value in an hour.

Still not decided if this is serious competition or PnD the price dropped around 1k in less than an hour after reaching a peak of 2200.. I like Roger Ver but he has been spreading false information in the past. All this competition between BCH and BTC makes me consider to switch to Ethereum instead, I'm just about clueless on the topic and from both sides all you get is bias.

I guess the saying goes: Where two are fighting for a bone, the third takes it home (?)

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

wacht ff....

inloggen, kijken in mijn wallets....

810  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New world order - Illuminati on: November 09, 2017, 08:15:00 PM
for the record bitcoin killed illuminati  Roll Eyes

No one can control the whole world people should stop believing conspiracy theories too much. Its like getting fooled for nothing

Nah no one can except for the cartel of company's that have influenced the way we perceive beauty, how we eat, what we watch on television, what is socially acceptable and what not.
Hollywood never influenced the way we see succes, riches and fame. Its not at all that we live in a society where brand means more than the product. We're also not moving towards more centralized methods of governing with every decade to come and were totally not being pushed ideological and political agenda's that aren't our own without us being aware of it.

Anyone who thinks the above is just fooling himself cause we all know we decide for ourselves right? We aren't being manipulated by commercials to buy products we don't really need cause we live in a sustainable economy that looks out for the wellbeing for generations to come and also works towards a sustainable planet where everyone can enjoy fresh air and healthy food. We are an equal, honest and open society. Project Paperclip never happened, undisclosed FBI documents on the JFK assasination? What they don't even exist! Europe doesn't have an ideological agenda to destroy a cultural heritage it just wants to share that heritage with people who haven't ever thought anything like them before!
MK ultra is just a load of bull and the CIA only wanted to protect those people by experimenting on them! It is for your best interest ofcourse! NSA spying on people? Well you're more unsafe then ever before, they just want what is best for you so you can enjoy the quality of debt filled life! Anyone thinking otherwise is crazy, beserkers and the NSA will keep an eye on them so you don't have to worry about it Wink
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cryptocurrencies and inequality on: November 09, 2017, 04:59:16 PM
Hi

I have a question for you let's say with ' moral ' implications

The resources created with the boom in cryptocurrencies of this years , in your opinion, is increasing or decreasing the inequality between people?

In the first time i though that it could decrease it because it was bringing richness to that part of the population that invested so early when btc were super unknown, and they were like geeks and tech lovers, not the typical financial speculator person

But looking at how is the market now, with the whales that with their millions manipulate it as they want and set the terms, i'm thinking that again is the upper section of the population that's winning

Let me know what you think about it , i want to hear different opinions and i think that this question will decide if in the future cryptos are going to benefit the whole society or not

I dont really qualify for the upper segment in terms of finance but I am doing very well in this market. I'd say its more due to yourself, I had to learn a lot about this space and I was already learning about it before I bought my first coin for a year or so. I think that the inequality will be dealt with to some degree yes, there are plenty of projects where people who were financially excluded now have a chance to participate. I hear tons of succes stories of people starting out with very small amounts and making them into a fortune for themselves. But I also hear stories of people losing everything. I've stopped caring about financial inequality some while ago, don't get me wrong I just changed my perspective. A hundred years ago you would not really find people in Europe to have the same opportunity to people now have even without this cryptomarket and I think it goes for every country, I suspect that in a hundred years a lot of the countries that are currently heavily invested in industrial production will get a similar revolution to open up opportunity and a chance to a better life.

Looking back at these past few months I could have lost a lot of money if I didn't follow my strategy and goals. I think its also easy to be very shortsighted in this market when you can bag a lot of profits from day to day instead of admitting that it probably doesn't work out for you that well because you aren't that familiar with the market or TA or other things and try to buy stuff on the dip to hold for a longer period of time. I've started doing a bit of both.

If its wealth equality you're looking for then keep looking because capitalism and free markets eventually lead to wealth concentration. Can't say I agree but I've learned to not kick against it and instead learn how to benefit from it. The greatest wealth you can ever posses is knowledge and wisdom, money is just a by-product of that.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BLOCKNET COUNTDOWN - BIG EVENT - UI LIVE SHOW DEMO - x2 potential ??? on: November 09, 2017, 04:21:52 PM
been saying this for months now.

Feb 17  4 cents!!!!
It was 3 Dollars this summer.
Devs delivered all the time.  Staking rewards is nice.
Partnership with a big marketing company. Reveal is tomorrow.

Nobody here cares, I dont know why? :-D

Haven't been around long enough but during the altdip a few days back I was sure to pick some up. Seems like a project thats right under your nose yet you never give it attention but when you do take a look it blows you away.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will kill Ethereum? on: November 09, 2017, 04:20:01 PM
Its not about killing eachother, its about taking marketshare so far Ethereum has the largest marketshare but I assume Waves will eat plenty of that on the pie chart.
814  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: bitfinex VRAAG on: November 09, 2017, 01:30:34 PM
815  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New world order - Illuminati on: November 09, 2017, 12:04:33 AM
For the record, there is no Illuminati it was a club created by adam weishaupt in 1776. The historical (official) name is Kabal.
I think the biggest conspiracy is man's ignorance and greed and his refusal to reflect upon that because of his fear of death.

Historically yes there are tons and tons of secret clubs and I wouldn't be suprised some still prevail today. If you can understand the primal forces of nature (i.e. fear) and the higher forces of nature (i.e. compassion) then in my opinion you're a long way to really understand what this is all about.

816  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When Did Bitcointalk Politics & Society Become Philosophy & Off-Topic? on: November 08, 2017, 11:27:13 PM
Philosophy & Off-Topic instead of Politics & Society? This section needs some serious heavyweight moderation. What do you think?

I think its the place where a lot of newbs go to boost their post counts. I introduced a topic on Plato's five regimes but it got 0 reply's with over a 100 views. So I suppose its a bit to heavy for a lot of people. Politics & Society is mostly chewed out topics and philosophical debates. Sometimes something interesting gets posted but most of the times its just spam threads.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good news for BTCS bitcoin silver on Ethereum on: November 08, 2017, 11:11:03 PM
This stuff is getting ridiculous, it will just be another altcoin that no one except PnD'ers are interested in. Not really sure why the forkers bother, must be quite some money to be made in these forks. The amount of forks does reflect a lot of disagreement in the community of Bitcoin I suppose.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What about Matryx (MTX) coins? on: November 08, 2017, 11:08:47 PM
Quite a bit of these AI community crypto's. I personally don't invest in them cause I know nothing about AI plus I haven't really seen much of those projects do any good as far as I know atleast.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SegWit2x Fork Cancelled ! ? Is it true ??? on: November 08, 2017, 11:04:29 PM
Sold my Waves for a profit cause I was certain i'd get another chance to buy in before the fork.. I'm happy the fork is cancelled though.
