801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lockdown and eCommerce and increase in online payments = Bitcoin addoption on: May 17, 2020, 05:12:52 PM
Lockedown = Not necessarily mean that it would increase the eCommerce business. I have an small eCommerce business here in my local and it has been slowed down. Moreover, if there's not enough merchant to accept BTC, how would it be increased?

That is very individual and depends on the country and community you live in. In my country eCommerce has increased and more people started to use online services. However, not many local merchants used that opportunity and they didn't open online shops although their physical stores were open.
Although to my opinion eCommerce did generaly increased that didn't increase Bitcoin addoption, still very small number of people is.using Bitcoin or it's ready to start to use cryptocurrencies in general.
802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: May 17, 2020, 12:28:05 PM
There’s an active money in trading especially if you have the right skills and knowledge, and if you do want a less hassle source of income, then investing is a good choice. You can choose to invest directly on a good projects, they might offer to you a private investing or you can buy the top coins like bitcoin and hold until it reach your target price. No matter how big or small your assets, if its on a right place you’ll make more money.

Many think that trading is easy and they often estimate too high their capabilities for it. Also, investing is not only a matter of choice , you need to know a lot of relevant information and dig real deep into some subject to make right decision.
So, I don't think that the right question is what is better option, trading or investment, but the right question is what is the right for each individual according to his capabilities, knowledge and risk management.
803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: May 17, 2020, 09:49:55 AM
In my opinion, making money from e-sports betting is not easy, because it requires our analytical skills for the team and the e-sports players.
We cannot expect intuition to succeed in e-sport betting, so we need to dig up a lot of information and do it research in order to predict the course
of the match. It's not easy, but if we focus on deep analysis, we can succeed in making money from e-sport betting.

E sports betting.is.not simple, it's demanding and to my opinion it's for analytical types of players. So, yes, I agree if you want to be successful in e sport betting you need to.do a lot of research and collect a lot of information but not many people have preferences for that, they prefere easy way. That is why to my opinion e sports betting doesn't have much fans.
804  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy re-start 2020 in process 2025 crash on: May 17, 2020, 07:02:19 AM
Are you seriously? USA is the biggest in the world and USA & your alliances still lead our world. Now is too early to say that the USA will fall because of some economic indicators
US will find ways this super power country will take every opportunities to stay in top, the economy might suffer but for sure there's always solution for them as they have enough resources and if in case that they needed to force something it's not hard for US to decide.
Though we see that every countries that being hit are really suffering and it's needed longer time to rebuild back.

I think that US has lost the status of super power county, they are not anymore what they used to be. Besidrs, they are other countries that are growing, both in political and economy way.
Situations like this pandemic just show how fragile countries and their economies are and how easily everything can change and fall down. How long will iit take to rise again, that is the question and not only for US.
805  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin exceed 20k this year like in 2017? on: May 16, 2020, 09:00:09 PM
Although everything is possible when it come to Bitcoin 20000$ this year doesn't seen very likely
Many expected huge price rise after the Bitcoin halving but that obviously didn't happen.
Also, we see how price is struggling to cross 10000 $ barrier. Although it looked couple a days ago price might cross it, it pulled back again.
To my opinion price will continue to fluctuate, without continuous and steady growth so we'll not see 20000$ so soon.
806  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: May 16, 2020, 07:01:14 PM
Everything that you said is true, knowledge, risk management and patience are equaly important when it comes to trading. However, not all traders are aware of that and trading is not for everyone. It's much more harder and demanding as it might seem at first glance.
Some had bad experiences, some accumulated too much loss, some can't handle stress so there are different reasons why people quit trading. If teading was easy then everyone would make money that way.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know any comprehensive study about lockdown effect on online gaming? on: May 16, 2020, 03:43:06 PM
I don't think that such study exists.
Maybe some individuals have made it.for their own purpose or for curiosity but I don't think there is comprehensive, expert one.
However, I have the feeling that online gambling profited from lockdown because all physical casions were closed so probably even players who were not online casino fans took that possibility to continue with gambling even in quarantine.
808  Economy / Economics / Re: The unfortunate event that is Quarantine. on: May 16, 2020, 12:38:34 PM
Corona virus won't kill us , but the economic situation will .
I remember the words that I often hear to people who belong to lower class. Due to this pandemic the businesses, establishment and company needs to close and stop operating causing many people to stop working. They say they wont die because of the virus, instead they will starve to death, the relief from the government is not enough to feed the people everyday. Good thing the situation here is slowly getting better, workers are now allowed to work because the number of new infected is decreasing which means its somehow under control though the virus is still existing. Hoping they will discover the vaccine so the virus will vanish.

That is true and now we are having situation that the consequences of quarantine and lockdown will be worse than the consequences of pandemic. Not in medical way, of course, but in.social and financial.
Not that nany business are brought at the edge of existing and so many people will be left unempliyed and poor but many will literary starve.
If this situation repeats in fall like some scientist say I'm not sure how this world will look like. So, yes, vaccine or cure are the only solution but I'm not sure how likely it is for this to happen soon.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING: Skill-based vs. Chance-based on: May 16, 2020, 11:41:45 AM
To my opinion the only type of gambling where you can use some skills and knowledge is sport betting. You can be a big fun and really follow some sport or team and that might really help you with betting but on the other hand it isn't guarantee for profit, surprises are always possible.
Unfortunately, in the pandemic time all sport events were cancelled and that was really bad for all of us.
In every other types of gambling you mainly depend on luck.
810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who owns the bitcoin trademark? on: May 16, 2020, 07:09:53 AM
bitcoin.org is owned by bitcoin developers.
bitcoin.com is owned by person/people who provide bitcoin services.

But who owns the "Bitcoin" brand?

Bitcoin is not a company,so the name Bitcoin can't be considered a brand.Bitcoin is a currency. Can the other currencies (fiat and crypto) be considered as brands?Nobody is talking about whether or not the US dollar is a brand or who owns the term euro, because it would sound absurd.
The altcoin fork scammers took advantage of this situation and made several "Bitcoin"(BCH,BSV,Bitcoingold,etc..) projects that aren't actually Bitcoin. We can't do anything about that. Sad

I don't think that for protwcting trademark is relwvant that Bitcoin is a currency. Anything could be protected with trademark just needs to be registered as such. Although that depends on legal system of the country where you want to do it.
However, I don't think that Satoshi or someone else has registered and protected Bitcoin trademark.
811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa now wants the removal of cash from their system to create a digital dollar on: May 15, 2020, 08:22:52 PM
This is pretty interesting but not much of a surprise to myself. If you look at all aspects of the financial sector, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology have been adopted in some aspect by many major players ( IBM and Chase Bank for example).  No one want's to get left behind so no matter how much crap they talk about the technologies, they know there's a strong future here.

Exactly and that didn't start yesterday.  Big financial players ,and Visa among them, are experimenting with cryptocurrencies and blockchain for a long time.
Of course they know that is the future and they are not against it but they don't want to risk too much and they want to protect themselves and their profit. That is why they are still very cautious. But with time and especialy with good regulation and legal protection that will change for the better.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: May 15, 2020, 07:37:55 PM
My strategy when betting is simple i only wager on sports i know and often watched. It would be harder to decide and to analyze if you dont know the teams and their gameplay and their recent history. But some people use paid tools or create themselves mostly this are AI's, i recommend you take a look if you're interested.

That is smart approach. Results are always the best when you feel selfconfident and you are familiar with that sport. Gambling mainly depends on luck, however some knowledge about the sport you bet can only help.
I have the similar approach and only rare I choose sports where I play only on luck and I'm not following it I'm not a fan. I don't believe in paid tools so I don't use them.
813  Economy / Economics / Re: An Economist Predicts The Downfall Of The Eurozone on: May 15, 2020, 05:20:34 PM
People in Eurozone can freely use Bitcoin. Simply because none of them is emotionally linked to Euro. This is way different in USA or China or UK or Switzerland or Russia or, ....  I see this as a big advantage Euro zone have. Future for Europe is only united. Divided is way to irrelevant to compete with China USA and India. United research is the key. If every European country will research its own tank is a huge waste of resources.

Yes, people in.Eurozone can freely use Bitcoin and not just in Eurozone but in whole European union..But that has nothing to do with Euro or emotional attachment or lack of it. It's about the EU politics that doesn't have any special restrictions towards cryptocurrencies unles they are used in illegal purposes. And, yes, Europe has much different and more liberal approach to Bitcoin compared to US or China.
814  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10k$ Bitcoin is Very much possible for now! on: May 15, 2020, 03:45:05 PM
The price is very likely to reach $ 10K and it may have a stabilization in that price range, just without seeing much of the AT lines, looking at the volume is noticeable and starting to grow, this makes halving have its effect Still latent regardless of the pandemic, that is, bitcoin has a life of its own despite ...

It is very positive, perhaps the demand is increasing right now and they are starting to eliminate the supply for prices below $ 10k.

Currently it.looks like is very possible but on the other hand we've seen so many times recently how 10000$ is actually hard to break. That is why I'm not so much of an optimist but if price reaches 10000$ this time it might stay there for a while or even cross it. But so far it seens to me that it's more likely for price to continue to fluctuate.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling issues? Read this! on: May 15, 2020, 12:56:18 PM
Every gambler knows sites and places like this but the main problem of these addicted gamblers is that they don’t agree that they are addicted and don’t listen to persons telling them to stop. The ones who realize that they have become addicted they call the above services and go there to seek help without any additional advice.

Sometimes it's very hard to see the signs of addiction until it's too late. First step in solving the problem is to admit that you have one but addicted gamblers hide that. Very often only family and friends can't help and they need professionals. What is worse, addiction once cured can very easy come back because it's very hard to get and maintain selfcontrol so that often ends in.closed circle.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Biggest Lesson you've learnt from Bitcoins Investment on: May 15, 2020, 09:04:23 AM
My learned lesson is that surprises are always possible. No matter how prepared you think you are and you think that you know everything that can happen, the plan can always go wrong so, always have a back up.
But it's very important to keep the cool head and not to panic, otherwise you can only make things worse.
In trading and investing you learn all the time, every day so it's important to keep all this knowledge always in mind.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are so many people who get addicted on gambling? on: May 14, 2020, 09:00:14 PM
It has to be something with being bored I am sure. There are so many people who have nothing else to attach to and that results with them being addicted to gambling because they are basically feeling like they are doing something finally and actually spending their time with quality but in reality they are hurting themselves. There was basically nothing in the world that would help them to spend time better and they got addicted to it.

Just to give an example I know someone who gambled for 30 years because he just had a very good business who didn't need him, he was the boss but there was managers and so forth and he didn't had to go to work, he had a office at the top of the building so all he did was gamble for 30 years. 4-5 years ago he started this collective of group or whatever its called and hasn't gambled since that moment.

Well, 30 years of gambling is really a long time. Obviously that person has strong character if he didn't develope addiction.
The question why people become gambling addicts is similar why they become drug or alcohol addicts, there is no simple and unique explanation, each person is functioning on different ways.
However,  when gambling adrenalin and hunger for money that people can't control very often lead to  addiction and many players are not even aware of thst.
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving's Effect to miners on: May 14, 2020, 05:59:08 PM
To my opinion it's still too early to acess any kind of influence of halving, including that on miners.
Yes, mining isn't so profitable anymore and some miners might give up mining if they edtimate that buying Bitcoins is cheaper and more profitable. However, miners will not disappear just like that. Also, I don't believe that Bitcoin price will have so big growrh like some expect but let's just wait for a while.
819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trade & investment is getting harder and harder. on: May 14, 2020, 04:43:39 PM
Even if there are such people here, they are unlikely to share with you their successful strategy. Why do they need it?
Any successful strategy is based on a lot of experience, through many mistakes and failures. Such knowledge is sold at best, and is rarely shared with the general public.
In my opinion, it has not become more complicated, but otherwise. Those who did not have time to adapt will experience tremendous difficulties.

That is all very true. There is no.successful trader without a lot of experience, knowledge and lessons learned. And it's also important that trading and investing are not for everyone, it requires certain skills.
It may look like now it's more difficult and demanding to be a trader than 5 years ago but on the other hand back then it wasn't so many available information, tools and shared experiences like there is today.
820  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's start travelling to Stars; Moon is no more a target! on: May 14, 2020, 01:16:22 PM
It's still too early to make any conclusions.
We've had similar situations hunders of times do far. Price strted to rise for a while and then pulled back. And remember that not every price rise is considered to be bull run. It's too early to.estimate real effect of halving and to say how the price will behave.
So many times there were such euphoric posts about moon and stars and in a few days when price falls, posts about Bitcoin being dead start again. That repeat over and over again and it really starts to be annoying.
