801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon said he would close Bitcoin down if he was in government on: December 11, 2023, 03:11:48 AM
@Dump3er. Where do you think CZ and the other hustlers in the cryptospace learned the bankers' tricks from? The banking industry controls much of the infrastructure for moving money around the world and they have laundered trillions of dollars for special clients. Would it be a shock on anyone in the forum that those special clients are billionaires and politicians who are also known as our rules? It would be headshaking if someone here is still not aware of the reality that our rulers are using the system against us.
802  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Binance the next to bite the dust or FUD? on: December 11, 2023, 02:30:57 AM
They cannot print more BNB.
Why not? Who is going to stop them? They have complete control over the entire BNB network and can do literally anything they like with it, from printing a billion out of thin air to simply shutting the whole thing down with zero warning.

This token has a deflation mechanisms created through buy and burn every quarter until 100 million tokens are left.
Only as long as Binance keep their promise to keep doing this.

Agreed that Binance smartchain is centralized. I was only talking about how presently the rules are implemented on their network. Also, it can argued that it might be difficult to change to change these rules to make them issue more tokens and milk the cow. This would cause a failure of trust and certainly a big dump from their community of users and developers.
803  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: More Regulation Incoming! on: December 11, 2023, 01:29:47 AM
More news from uncle Gary and the SEC. It appears for uncle Gary, he does not care that Binance has made a settlement with the department of justice. The cases filed by the SEC against Binance will continue.

The skeptical me thinks that because the DOJ has extorted $4 billion from Binance, uncle Gary wants his share also heheheh.

The Securities and Exchange Commission says Binance Holdings Ltd.’s recent $4.3 billion settlement with the Justice Department and other US authorities bolsters its own case against the world’s biggest crypto exchange.

Despite not being part of the agreement, the SEC argued on Friday that the federal court in Washington hearing its case should weigh admissions by Binance and the firm’s former chief executive, Changpeng Zhao, in the Nov. 21 settlement. The firm and Zhao have asked the court to dismiss the SEC’s lawsuit.

The agreement didn’t include the SEC, which sued the exchange and Zhao in June for allegedly mishandling customer funds, misleading investors and regulators, and breaking securities rules.

Why was uncle Gary's department not included with the deal?
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 10, 2023, 05:56:12 AM

So if Bivol gets Canelo's 2nd fight with PBC I wonder if Benavidez will ever get his shot at the real title. If Canelo somehow beats Bivol in the rematch, I expect him to take Crawford as his last fight of the contract and go back to Matchroom.

I think it's only fair that there should be a trilogy for their fight. Bivol could have declined a rematch with Canelo after beating him, but he agreed to it. Therefore, if Canelo is a true warrior, he should give Bivol a chance to determine the better fighter between them. This can only be settled through another rematch.

They both playing the mind games I guess, Bivol wanted a rematch but Canelo chooses John Ryder and let Bivol look for a dance partner with less money on the line. So Canelo paly his part very good in this games, now after beating Charlo and moving out of the Matchroom contract, Bivol is left hanging. And then we heard that if there will be a rematch, it will be in terms of Canelo again which including Bivol going down to 168 lbs and with rehydration clause.

As far as Benavidez goes, yeah, me might not get his title shot against Canelo as Alvarez is now looking for the biggest paycheck that he can get before retiring. So Benavidez could chase Morell or even Bivol or Beterbiev.

The big paychecks for Canelo would be Bivol on light heavyweight or Benavidez. These others that you have mentioned will not cause much excitement from the fans, I reckon.

However, the biggest might be for Canelo to accept Bivol's challenge and fight him in super middleweight where Canelo will risk all of his championship belts!
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: December 10, 2023, 04:38:33 AM
@Japinat. Agreed! He is much stronger in this higher weight division, however, he did not lose his speed and stamina. There are boxers who lose some stamina because of the heavier weight. But as I mentioned already, Devin Haney is young and growing. This is certainly not his real weight division. He will go heavier and he might be champion in 2 more divisions.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: December 10, 2023, 03:01:45 AM
It is headshaking that odds on Devin Haney is 1.25. Is he being underestimated for this fight? This should be 1.05 very much similar to the other favored fighters for this event, I reckon.

However, I do not know this Prograis. Will he make this fight more challenging for Haney or will odds on Haney become 1.01 after round 5? I speculate that it will be 1.01 hehehehe.

Haney is the challenger here mate and his debut for the 140 lbs division, that may be the reason of that odds but i do hope that Haney would not wear his running shoes so we could see the full potential of Prograis. Clinching and running, though part of the game, this would not make Haney a sellable fighter in the higher division.

I was not very convinced on Haney before the first fight against Kambosos, however, after witnessing a victory in Australia and defending his champioship vs. Lomachenko, I reckon the 5 pound difference might not matter very much for this fight. Also, Haney is very young and growing, I am quite certain that 140 pounds will not be his last weight division.

Haney is also taller than Prograis and has a longer reach. It can be argued that this super lightweight division might presently be the right one for him.

I am contemplating if I drop all my players in the waiverwire or continue playing to avoid ending on the bottom hehehe.

In any case, I predict the Jets and the Raiders will beat the spread, both with +3 and Mahomes will win against Josh Allen hehehe.

Also, who is everyone's MVP for the regular season? I reckon Dak, however, I know everyone might be on Purdy.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 09, 2023, 03:23:15 AM
@Welsh. However, after fighting Conor 2 times and earning his highest purses from those fights, he might not have the determination to challenge himself anymore. If uncle Dana announces that Arman and Dustin will fight, I will be wishing that the underdog will be Arman hehehee. Similar to Dustin Poirier's fight against Justin Gaethje, Poirier's own mind will tell his body to stop. I reckon this is because his will power is not anymore there.
810  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CZ officially bids goodbye to Binance. Will Binance Crash or still stand Strong? on: December 09, 2023, 02:18:10 AM
When binance boosted about their reserves, many of us thought it was a joke and today we have seen that binance is able to pay any fine and still stand strong.

I thought BNB will drop upto 50% after CZ resignation,  but I wasn't even upto 10% and has already corrected.  So, there's no other FUD that will pull the market down. Binance is in auto pilot and doesn't need 100% intelligence to keep working.
What I can say is the Fed wouldn't be giving up and other things will work in their favor, already Binance exchange partners are now the target with law suits which might drive away potential business partners which will dry the pockets of Binance and their reserves. The only way I see them combating the lack of revenue that would soon be their problem is to charge more for listing fee and list more altcoins but soon they'll run out of projects to list or their listing won't have much effect on projects growths anymore, making them to lose patronage from crypto products. The money will move over to other exchange and then the so called reserve will dry up and the crisis begin to unfold in front of our eyes.

The mistakes most people commenting on this issue is making is thinking, Binance exchange is too big to fail but no CEX has such quality. The fine wasn't a big money for an exchange like Binance exchange but when they can't replace the money to keep their reserve up then we'll begin seeing similar situation to other CEX that has seized to exist in the past.

Agreed that Binance's CEX dominance might end very much similar to Bittrex, however, their new CEO Richard Teng appears to be very capable on cleaning the exchange's operations to make it more favorable for regulators.

Richard Teng also appears to be very qualified for his new job because he has much experience on financial regulation and helped create regulatory frameworks in Singapore and Dubai. We might witness some countries adopt his ideas and let the cryptospace run more smoothly under their jurisdictions.
811  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Sinbad, which mixer is Next To Be Shutdown? on: December 09, 2023, 12:15:13 AM
How is this a reputation board topic? Shouldn't it be in the service discussion board?

Mixers just don't get shutdown randomly. The law enforcement is mostly targeting those mixers that they believe have been used to launder Bitcoins from “Terrorists” or Hackers they think are state controlled, such as the Lazarus group.

This is the problem with the government. It can declare anything as an act of terrorists and use this for their own agenda very much similar to this hack from months ago where grandma Yellen accused it as an act from the Lazarus Group because the stolen coins were deposited to an address that was owned by the Lazarus.

It is headshaking because it is unconfirmed who owns the wallet and they cannot really prove that the Lazarus Group owns the wallet. What if it the hackers were hired by anticrypto people to disrupt the cryptospace through hacks and blame them on certain groups?
812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Closing Central Bank is Non-negotiable says pro-bitcoin Argentina Pres Milei on: December 08, 2023, 11:50:34 PM
Well, it is obvious that their Central Bank are useless and that it is dragging down their economy, so it will be better to shut it down, before it leads to an inevitable collapse.

The problem is still the political decisions that are made.. that are contributing to their bad economy. They should also know that the World Bank will pull it's loans to the country, if they drop Fiat currencies, because that is the hold that they have over countries.  Roll Eyes

These are very simplistic statements for something very complicated but I understand what you are trying to imply. However, a country dropping their own currency and using another country's currency would be giving up being a monetary sovereign. If this country decides to use the American dollar, similar to El Salvador, then the country will become a servant of the government of America. They would presently need to borrow or acquire dollars to use and spend. They would also suffer dollar inflation and interest rates. This is contrary to before where the country was the issuer of their own currency.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - February 2024 in Saudi Arabia on: December 08, 2023, 05:20:54 AM
@Inwestour. Tyson Fury would have certainly knocked out Francis Ngannou if he trained properly. A world heavyweight boxing champion almost lost vs. a mixed martial artist in boxing? 1 week training might be an exaggeration, however after his performance, yes I am quite certain Tyson Fury did not have much training.
814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon said he would close Bitcoin down if he was in government on: December 08, 2023, 04:25:57 AM
I see he's not getting any smarter with time.

Delusional idiocy around "closing down Bitcoin" aside, did he somehow forget that his company offers "an in-house passively managed bitcoin fund"?  What a fucking hypocrite!   Cheesy

https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/jpmorgan-jpm-offers-in-house-bitcoin-fund-to-wealthy-clients-2021-08-05

He doesn't like bitcoin, however, he likes the fees that JPMorgan gets from their clients for investing in bitcoin hehehe. This is certainly why we shouldn't trust any words that come out from his mouth about bitcoin or other cryptocoins. People like Jaime Dimon are only there to do what is profitable for them. They want more wealth for themselves and less for you.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - February 2024 in Saudi Arabia on: December 07, 2023, 04:38:52 AM

But Ngannou can be considered an amateur in boxing it was his first boxing match when he fought Fury and yet he put down and almost beat Fury what more for a guy who is a two-time World champion, we all thought it was a walk-in park for Fury when he fought Ngannou but Ngannou prove us wrong, I say its 50/50 for me based on both fighters last fight.

Usyk performed better than Fury in their last fight and if the fight is not moved, Fury is in big trouble, right now Fury is in the healing process of trying to get back his confidence because it is no joke being knocked down and almost beaten by a guy who just took up boxing recently.
Ngannou is not just a guy from the street, he has a lot of experience in the UFC and although I agree that this is a completely different type of martial arts, he already had a very strong base. In my opinion, Ngannou beat Fury, but for the judges to give him the victory, he must knock out Fury.

Usyk is faster than Fury, I have no doubt about that, but Usyk doesn't have so strong punch, so if Fury can land a few good punches, Usyk will have problems.

It would probably be more interesting for me to watch the revenge of Fury and Nganu than the fight between Fury and Usyk, but if Usyk manages to defeat Fury, then this revenge may never happen.

A completely trained Fury with not much fat on his body will be as fast as Usyk, he will control Usyk in the corner of the ring and he will put him on a stretcher. Tyson Fury might have only done 1 week of training for Ngannou. Much of his time might have been wasted on watching movies, eating junk food and drinking beer hehehe.

This fight against Usyk will be for the unified championship and everyone speculates that Tyson Fury will be fat again? I shake my head. Clearly the minds of many fans have certainly been tricked by Fury's fight vs. Ngannou.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blackrock ETF Discussion on: December 07, 2023, 04:19:41 AM
I don’t think it’s the retail traders that are causing all this bull moves. Look at coinbase today, someone market bought like 500 BTC and it touched $45000 only on that exchange. It seems there is a huge demand in short time and almost no supply, at least right now.

Look at Bitmex open interest, last week at $38K someone opened a $200M long. This is obviously some fund and not a retail trader. We also had that weekend pump last time. I assumed it would fade but it was a real move. There is also Tether and every week about $1B is added to the crypto markets.

Is that spot buying or futures buying? If it is futures buying then we might be in this time of the pump where the market might have become overleveraged. These traders might need to close their trades if the pump does not continue or they might get liquidated if the market dumps and causes a cascade of liquidations.
817  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for December on: December 07, 2023, 03:35:32 AM
On my contrarian argument that we might witness a correction and dump under $40. This image is being shared in social media. This is Su Zhu, who is also known to say buy when he is selling and say sell when he is buying. He also likes to use his friends as exit liquidity hehehehe.

818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Jamie Dimon said he would close Bitcoin down if he was in government on: December 07, 2023, 02:29:43 AM
Jamie Dimon spoke in front of the senate and congress to talk about the banking industy and it appears bitcoin was mentioned. According to him, bitcoin should be closed down and it is only good for moneylaundering, tax evasion and hiding transactions. This is always their argument hehehehee.

In any case, do they feel threatened? It appears that they do not like competition on their moneylaundering, tax evasion and off the books transactions operations that they do for their rich clients hehehe.

It is okay for them if the rich do this, however, if given this type freedom to the poor, they will say this is evil.

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon says he would close down Bitcoin and crypto if he were the US Government. Speaking to senators today, the JPMorgan CEO said “I’ve always been deeply opposed to crypto, bitcoin, etc.” He points out an argument made by Sen. Elizabeth Warren that its true use is to aid criminals, including drug traffickers, and those in tax avoidance, due to its instant, near-anonymous transactions.

“If I were the government I’d close it down,” Dimon concludes about Bitcoin and crypto as a whole. Jamie Dimon has been vocal in his opposition to Bitcoin especially, saying in the past that Bitcoin was “a fraud.” The top cryptocurrency has been leading the charge of a surge for multiple crypto on the current market over the past month, with SEC approval of Bitcoin ETFs on the verge of becoming a reality.

819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - February 2024 in Saudi Arabia on: December 06, 2023, 03:38:48 AM
@Maslate. However, what many fans might have not known is Tyson Fury did not train very hard for Ngannou which implies that Fury might have underestimated him. We can be quite certain that Fury will not be underestimating Usyk. There is also a championship at risk. This will be a different fight, a more important fight for Tyson Fury and his legacy.

Tyson Fury odds on 1.61 is very good, I reckon.
820  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for December on: December 06, 2023, 02:27:55 AM
I voted on another positive trend for the month. However, the contrarian in me wants to vote that we might have a correction for this month. Also, we cannot be quite certain how much more speculators will enter bitcoin because it is the end of the year. Institional funds and investment firms usually sell assets to put the profit on record and they can receive their bonuses.

Unless Blockrock is buying in preparation for another pump after the approval of their ETF, I would not be shocked if bitcoin dumps under $40k.
