841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fixes everything - how does it fix Pharma? on: July 15, 2022, 02:57:09 AM
Was talking with my gf who has diabetes type 1. The main reason it hasn't been cured is because maintenance drugs make more money than cures. A lone doctor recently came up with a stem cell cure, but it will take a long time to come to market. A trillion dollar industry was not incentivised to put money into a cure - yet one doctor could do it. How does Bitcoin solve this incentive? Or can it?
I don't know where you heard or who told you that bitcoin fixes everything. In fact it hasn't fixed anything. It only made things better and easier, but do has some lacking of its own. I find it funny when people try to reason or solve literally all problems with bitcoin. Don't know what made you think that bitcoin can help fix the "big pharma" problem. It can't. But maybe yeah, that "lone doctor" could share his wallet address publicly and tell people to donate so he can continue with his research?
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sepa transfers and transfer crypto from one exchange to another on: July 15, 2022, 01:23:40 AM
I don't know what bitget is, but i think it is a trading platform you are talking about. Based on your post, I guess you want to add $40 into your trading account and start trading but your transaction is getting rejected by the bank or something? So you are going to buy from another exchange and transfer funds here? I guess you can do it without any issue. I doubt they would hold your withdrawal for few days (but they do in some cases when interacting with fiat). So like others suggested, P2P is the best options.

You exchange it to XLM or XRP to send it instantly.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Need help and advice about crypto investment on: July 14, 2022, 06:33:20 AM
3. Mates, wanna try working with one firm engaged in trading on the crypto market. They use bots with AI. The profit is promised to be real good in general. Maybe someone knows smth about them? Here's the link ro their site: https://intelfin.io/
Lol, if the "profits are promised" then why do they have to "sell it to the users"? Why don't they trade themselves and make all those profits? Because, no, the profits aren't guaranteed nor are they promised. Hence they sell their "bots"/"platforms" to their users where they charge some small fees for every trade executed.
So yeah, it is a promised profit for the owners of the platform, not the users. They earn all those profits without taking any risks.
844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more uses to deposit. on: July 14, 2022, 06:29:49 AM
Yeah, withdrawal options is one of the main features that will attract more users. Fast withdrawals with multiple options to withdraw to different platform/wallets would bring more users that use different payment wallets/providers. Besides, I guess promotions and programs like loyalty or VIP programs will attract high rollers and long term gamblers. The reputation of the casino also matters. Older casinos with solid reputation tends to attract more users than those that are new or has some hiccups here and there.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People are not only gambling to win but they are buying entertainment on: July 14, 2022, 05:52:47 AM
Yeah, this is what gambling is all about. It's a form of entertainment that you have to pay to enjoy. You pay for all those adrenaline rush. The more you pay the more you can enjoy. The profits are something like "rewards" for lucky players. One of the most expensive form of entertainment to be honest. Unfortunately, people (like any other things) can get addicted to this entertainment and might end up spending everything on it.
846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin Fall?? on: July 14, 2022, 01:01:52 AM
I would like to let you to share your ideas about what if bitcoin falls?? Let others to know about badconsequence people have to face if bitcoin falls. Thank you Guyz.
-snip-
If bitcoin falls, I guess people would lose faith in cryptocurrencies. The whole crypto market would tank and I am sure each and every crypto currencies would also follow the same fate and end up dying. Crypto currencies would become a thing of past that has failed. People will try to create something new out of it. A better product that would circumvent the problem that made bitcoin fall.

-snip-
attention - i am not talking about bitcoin's current price action . i know these are buying opportunities for investors . I dont mean about bitcoin's price falling . i mean what if bitcoin isn't exist , what if bitcoin wasn't created.
Then change your title and replace every "fall" with "didn't exists?". Why not see how life was before bitcoin was invented?
847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not use Tether instead of Bitcoin ? on: July 14, 2022, 12:01:27 AM
Why do people not promote Tether instead of Bitcoin?

Is it because there is no money to be made in Tether?

Isn't the whole idea of Bitcoin to have a decentralized network that is useful and fair?  Isn't that Tether?

1:1 seems fairer than 1:20,000 ...
It is not the same at all? It is not as decentralized as you think. Tether is owned by a centralized company. I guess you didn't know that they can even freeze your wallets, reverse the transaction and remove your funds anytime they want (like banks can freeze your funds and bank account)? Google "tether freeze funds" and you will know what I am talking about. You might also think that it is 100% backed by US dollars, but it isn't. So stop comparing and saying that tether is better than bitcoin.
848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for newbie to long-term investing on: July 13, 2022, 11:51:23 PM
Hi guys,

After the immense hype up of the crypto industry, I jumped into crypto investing last year along with al lot of the casuals. I spent a couple of hundred bucks but sold just above break even point after the market crash last year. I was forced to because I needed the money to invest into myself to find a good job. Now that I've found a job, I started investing in crypto currency again, and started doing my due diligence.

My goal right know is to accumulate as much crypto as I can, but I'm not sure what the best strategy is considering the current economic factors. The approach I've had over the past couple of months has just been dropping a portion of my salary each month into crypto. But now I'm considering stacking my fiat to buy in on the bottom of this bear cycle which I think is yet to come. Would this be a wise decision? Or should I just keep going with the approach I have now?
-snip-
Yes, do that if you are planning to hold long term. Keep investing a part of your money in crypto currencies every month and hold them. Invest those money that you can afford to lose and you wouldn't need it during random situations. Don't sell as long as you aren't in profit. When the price drops, invest more of what you have to maximize your profit. Store it somewhere safe, create backups and forget about it. If you can stake your coins, then stake it in your OWN wallet, not some centralized exchange. Invest most in bitcoins and rest in well known altcoins.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would someone want to buy an old empty ethereum address? on: July 13, 2022, 09:45:11 PM
I am a little puzzled by this. Maybe someone has an idea.

A user was seeking to buy old Ethereum addresses that have had more than +1000 transactions.
He was even willing to pay upfront before receiving the private keys, so long as the other trading partner is trustworthy.

Why would someone go to such length?
Is there value in our old addresses that we don't know about? Lol.
Very highly likely to gain airdrops. There are some airdrops that are given to addresses that are old and was active during certain period of time. The buyer probably hopes that the seller hasn't redeems/claimed those rewards. If the value of the rewards is more than what he is paying for the address, he doesn't lose anything. Just some quick bucks for him. I don't see any other reason. I am sure he wouldn't use it to store his coins since the original owner will also have access to the wallet.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: July 13, 2022, 05:34:51 AM
Gambling is fun. And it doesn't matter whether you go to a land-based casino to bet or an online casino. When we bet, we celebrate our wins and count our losses. According to this study, the researchers found that gamblers are satisfied with small wins and will tolerate small losses but when they hit the threshold of loss, they will not play anymore.  I will attempt to define threshold of loss as regards gambling as the minimum intensity at which a gambler can no longer tolerate a loss.
-snip-
I thought when people start losing they end up chasing their loss until they can no longer afford to lose. I have seen many gamblers that have reached their loss threshold but end up gambling more to cover all their loss. It in most cases, never ended well at all.

My question is, can you remember a time when you reached your threshold of loss while gambling?
Don't know about me, but I guess it would be their whole balance?
851  Economy / Economics / Re: Good and Evil money — The Morality of earning Money/Rewards on: July 13, 2022, 05:26:47 AM
I guess most people have no idea that evil money (cursed money) and good money (blessed money) do actually exist. It's important to know how to avoid the cursed money if you want to be always satisfied with your earnings no matter how little they are.
I want to show you how you can always have enough and avoid the curse of wasting & misusing your earnings.
The truth is if you earn money you do not deserve, you will end up wasting it until you are left with what you deserve. For example, if you are paid a thousand dollars for a work that's actually worth $300,  $700 will be misused or wasted by you in different ways; you could buy $700 worth of electronics and it get stolen or spoiled easily....or the $700 will be lost utrightly. To avoid this problem, you need to make sure you do extra work for the one who is paying you and do it well so that it's actually worth the $1000 you were paid. Once this is done  your money and things you buy with it is automatically preserved, because you deserve it

Good money is money earned from doing good work... that is, from solving problems without creating more problems, while evil money is money earn from evil work, that is, works that create more problems rather solving them. Money earned from doing good work, no matter how little is always enough. If you are not paid enough for your good work, you are naturally compensated with things you need in such a way that makes things look like you were paid enough. For example, you do a good work that is worth $1000 but you got paid $300, the $300 will be enough to buy you things that's actually worth $1000 or more. And these things will last long for you.  People who do evil work end up with what they deserve. Workers reap what they sow: if they create more problems, they reap more problems making the big earnings they received not to be enough. If they solve problems without creating more problems they reap things without problems and they little they were paid becomes enough.

What I just revealed to you is a great Mystery of money/reward. It's worth alot but I give it to you for free. If you apply it in your life, you may never worry about money again but instead focus on solving problems without creating more problems.
This is how the CREATOR of this World designed things.

-snip-
Lmao, you got to be kidding me. Just because you got overpaid, you start calling them "evil money"? And it is your fault that you would be "wasting" those money. And not everyone would end up spending those extra money for something. I am sure most of them would save it for themselves. It's funnier when you said that the thing you spent on might get stolen because you bought it with evil money lol. You make it sound like anything you use those money for is cursed.

There is no such thing as good or evil money, but yeah legal and illegal money do exist.
852  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Unexpected Death? on: July 09, 2022, 04:40:23 AM
Why do people try to relate every events with the price of bitcoin? What does Shinzo, the former president of Japan being shot has to do with the price of bitcoin? No, it didn't affect the price when he was shot, nor would it affected the price in the future if he wasn't shot. The price of bitcoin isn't pegged with someone or something. If that would be the case, every time someone influential dies, the price would have crashed. Even if the price does get affected, it would be short term and would recover very soon.
853  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: July 09, 2022, 04:22:36 AM
People are waiting to buy lower, but what if you're wrong and this is the bottom?

You never know what's going to happen next.
And this is why you shouldn't be waiting to buy low. You never know when the real low will be. If you keep on waiting, there might be a chance that the price doesn't go any lower and it keeps on increasing. You might end up losing your opportunity to invest when the price was low.
So instead of waiting, if you have some money lying around, invest as much as you can. If the price goes down more, invest more and keep holding till the price goes back up again.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: July 09, 2022, 04:12:09 AM
Those "gambling bots" doesn't change your odds of winning. All they do is automate your bets and allow you to bet using your own custom strategy. They don't help you increase your profit or help you win more. In the long run, you will be making the same amount of profit/loss.

If someone is trying to sell you a gambling bot and says that it will help you make profit, he is very likely trying to scam you or maybe trying to steal your account. Don't buy or use those bots.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Group and new investment plattform on: July 09, 2022, 04:08:50 AM
Hi.

I just was invited to a telegram group which has more than 300 members and one guy is something like the admin / guru.

He sends daily trading signals mostly based on crypto AIC. Therefore he recommends a new platform called tilicoin.com. He also offers 1:1 trading coaching. He takes 10% of the profits and after several days of group signal trading I made some good profits. Unleveraged profits are not as high (1-2%).

I checked in with some hundred dollars of gaming money  but for 1:1 coaching he wants to increase the money.

I also checked withdrawal one time to be sure that it's possible and not a fake. It did work  also for a bigger amount.

So guys... what is your opinion regarding this gambling case?  Roll Eyes
Does anyone here you this platform?

Best regards

1. Don't join those shitty groups. Most of those "signals trading" groups are scam. They charge you for random signals or information that are available publicly online.

2. Don't trade on that site. Highly likely you are going to get scammed. He is probably trying to earn your trust first by allowing you to withdraw small amount. Once you deposit a lot, you probably won't be able to withdraw anything.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you guys invest meme coins now? on: July 09, 2022, 02:58:07 AM
So right now the market is unpredictable. Even in this condition as we all can see most YouTubers and even Kucoin, and Binance exchanges promote meme coins. What would you guys do about this meme coins project? are you guys ok to invest in these coins or rather not invest this time? because most famous coins like shib, and doge are now in the dip as we can see.
Sure if you are willing to take a huge risk and don't mine losing everything you have, then go ahead and invest in meme coins. Those "popular" meme coins might not get pumped again and you might end up losing everything. The meme coin trend is already dying. Doge might get pumped again if those doge coins supporters (like Elon) tweets or says something about it and creates a hype. SHIB might get pumped if they keep on adding new stuffs to the ecosystem and somehow manages to keep the hype.

Why invest in meme coins when you already have bitcoin and other well known altcoins?
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: July 09, 2022, 01:09:25 AM
Definitely right, reputation in general, is very important.
Because once a casino becomes reputable, it will do anything to solve the issue and becomes friendly manner to their customer and if that is a valid complaint probably they will fix the issue quickly. Because building a reputation is not just easy for them, it takes time before you will become an established online gambling casino. So if there is a legitimate issue, they will fix it quickly but if they also have evidence of abusing or violating the ToS of course they have a right to suspend users.
And then there are those people that will try to "extort" and take advantage of "fixing issues quickly"  of the casinos based on their reputation. They will try to make false accusation saying that their funds were denied/held without any reason even though they did break the rules (knowingly or unknowingly, doesn't matter). Of course if there is a legitimate issue, they will fix it almost immediately or else risk their reputation. But I can assure you, most of those scam accusation that "aren't getting solved" are BS.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about altcoin market on: July 09, 2022, 12:53:35 AM
Is polka-dot a good price at 7 dollars? This was its price two years ago, do you think that polka-dot can still go down or not? Have we met the bottom for altcoins or all these are just fake outs? What do you think about altcoin market.
Do you think Polka will be able to go back to it's old all time high? If yes, then yeah, polka would be a great investment for you. Around 7.5x gain if it is able to recover and reach its all time high. Invest whatever you can afford to lose, hold/stake and wait. Don't sell till you reach your profit goal. But the price might also never reach its ATH, and might crash more from here. The altcoin market is more volatile than the bitcoin market. High gain, but high risks too.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today is the story of my investment in Bitcoin on: July 08, 2022, 11:43:07 PM
I decided yesterday morning that I would buy 1 bitcoin from this dip market. But I did not have enough money.  With which I can buy 1 bitcoin. I had an Fixt Deposit of $ 6,000 in the central bank. And the bank would paying interest at the rate of 5.5% APR. I broke it down yesterday and decided to buy Bitcoin with that money. But with this money I will not be able to buy 1 bitcoin.  On the other hand, my dream and desire is to buy 1 bitcoin. I then decided to take a loan and applied to the bank for a loan. But I told the bank that I would use this money for business. The bank agreed to give me a loan of $10,000 at 10% APR interest. I take advantage of that opportunity and take out a loan. And the remaining $ 4,000 I borrowed from my uncle and promised to pay him 8% APR interest, which is more then bank interest. Finally i bought just now 1 BTC price at $20,000. It gives me a different feeling That feeling I have never had before. I think if I hold this bitcoin for 2 years I can get 100% -500% profit. Then I will be able to easily repay my debtors with an average interest of 18-19% in 2 years as an average of 9.something% APR and I will be able to keep a huge profit.
So you just bought a whole bitcoin taking loans "hoping" that the price will go up by 100% to 500% within 2 years? Lol, sorry to say but you made a huge mistake. What if the price goes down back to $10,000 within 2 years? You would lose a lot plus you will have to repay the loans and the interest that has accumulated over the years. You might want to extend those loan period, and even if the price did go up a little, you will end up paying a lot in  interest. Why take such risks? Why do you have to hold one whole bitcoin? Why not invest slowly and only as much as you can?
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally, I Bought Something With Full Payment In Bitcoin. on: July 08, 2022, 03:32:05 AM
That's a nice one. People usually buy something small before they try spending a lot to buy something with bitcoin. You were lucky that guy was willing to accept bitcoin as a method of payment or I guess it was you who was able to convince him to accept bitcoin since the price was low. But did you sell (exchange) your bitcoin at a loss? Or did you buy during the dip and then exchanged it for the motorbike? And why did you pay him more than what was agreed?
