I just hope FC and co. can get us some healthy and regular divs while the btc/usd valuation is low like now so that the BTC value of shares has room to skyrocket. What I really want from this thing is more BTC. If they time it right, I will get that!

What about next gen? Smiley

that's what I'm hoping for. Next Gen succeeds, we see divs, stock value in BTC rises. not just reinvestment this time around. Wink

You didn't understand. What about money needed for gen5 if AM starts issuing healthy and regular divs?

He made one good call in 2012 when he first invested, and since then, he's basically always wrong.

Calling the bottom at $500:

I still think that his bottom was ~$340.

I am curious as to why everyone is listening to a unknown source ( tutorialvideo ) about the chip expectation dates.
Friedcat said February.  I think it better to listen to him, until confirmation of the other date.

Are you another angry AM shareholder?

The mass production time of BE300 in terms of chip-out date is February to March, 2015.

If you think that AM can manage to get a whole batch in a couple of days after receiving the chips you are lying to yourself.

I did a fiat withdraw last week without any problems.

Well RoadStress -  Speculation on the price of miners based on a 120 chip board was discussed here, and Friedcat replied to it with his expected pricing..

I suspect he didn't post anything in this thread because here all the trolls create more noise than it's worth..

Stock price hasn't moved..   Bail out now while you can.

Well stock price hasn't moved because the mass production of chips is still scheduled for March and miners might go out to customers in late March or early April. That's a minimum of 2 months of no dividends. No reason for anyone to buy shares now.
889  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMiner BE300S Samples Arrived, <0.2W/G Achieved at Board Level on: January 19, 2015, 06:16:20 PM
That price would be appealing today, hate to ask the question with the impossible answer, but when will they be available? Smiley

April if I remember correctly!

Now i run my rigs for about 6-8 hours last night with BTC Guild pool with total of 4.78 TH/s but i only made  0.01590032 BTC. Now at that speed i expected a little more earnings.
There are also around 14000 miners in that pool for US but only 4333 for EU. Since im in USA, i was mining its US pool. Would it have been better to mine in EU pool? OR you would suggest another pool?

Please help out another n00b miner so i can become more fluent with this. Thank you for all of your help in advance.

I think it takes ~24 hours until the earnings are ramped up to the real value so be patient.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cold storage - HACKED easily on: January 18, 2015, 04:42:50 PM
Isn't the ECDSA attack possible only when you re-use addresses? I thought that if you always use new addresses you are immune to this type of attack.

I think, if u keep receiving coins then also you are safe. You need to change, only when you are sending.

Thanks.

Indeed!
None of us know exactly how ken spent our money, where it went...we've been kept so much in the dark, that that alone is enough to warrant investigation, MSD review, penalties if necessary. If he tried honestly and failed honestly, lets see the numbers. If he cant account he is, in our eyes, and the eyes of the law, guilty.
Yeah, poor fuckin ken. Nobody wants to cut the guy a break, eh Zum? How about you send me a few dozen BTC and I'll... get back to you sometime in the future with your profits, or not. I\m working on a NDA thing thats totally hush hush but for sure will make your BTC shine (hint; its a dishwasher that cleans Cassicus coins)

I was pushing this everytime I posted here. Sometime to get deleted by master shill zumzero who was blindly optimistic without a single proof and totally ignoring every warning or reasonable debate. I bet that VMC never sent any money to eASIC because there was never a project. There was only a signed NDA to fool the fools. Since no shareholder demanded any proof from Ken he was free to do whatever the fuck he wanted with your money. Only because you (shareholders) let him fool you without a single proof.

On the other hand, ppl are in anticipation, and by the time chips, miners, and divs are here, shares can be much higer...

Much much higher!
895  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMiner BE300S Samples Arrived, <0.2W/G Achieved at Board Level on: January 18, 2015, 01:52:23 PM
It's right ^there^.  Duh!

Any more questions ChoadStress?   Wink

Where is the 24 chip board?

ROADSTRESS..... where are you?

I am right here don't worry. Only took FC one full month to publish the results. If you 2 are happy that AM has a 0.3W/GH chip for at least 8 months from now then I'm glad for you  Cheesy Time to buy some AM shares!  Cool

The units come with great underclocking performance for a low power bill.:

My SP30's hosted at SPTech is reported by slush to have a 24-hr hashrate of 3.007 Th/s.
This seems totally wrong seems the advertised speed is at 4.5 Th/s for SP30's.

I have SP31's running somewhere else but that's being reported at 4.7 Th/s (advertized speed 4.8 Th/s)

Is anyone else's SP30's running a 24-hr hashrate of 3.0 Th/s?

Send them an e-mail to check your miner. Problem solved.
899  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: January 16, 2015, 10:06:59 PM

Since AM has the most efficient chip on the market (please correct me if I'm wrong), AM may be able to use the strong bear market as an advantage to regain a larger portion of network hashrate.

I think you mean sample chips.

Why ? Dont they provide same material for regular production ?

Will see.

Another 250+ shares buy, you can't convince me this is just some bot doing its thing. It also isn't someone buying in his/her own orders... This has to be some action from someone who knows something! Geez, I'm all hyped up!

Well the sample performed better than expected and mass production is set to begin in February. With a bit of luck, AM could find themselves without any real competition for a short while. Share price could go nuts if that happens, so these buys could just be getting in early.

The sample chips may have performed better than expected, but we still haven't seen the 24 chip board version and I don't think we will see it until February. Either FC burned all the sample chips or the design wasn't good. Stop pumping useless shares Smiley

Did anybody tried to run SP30 more energy efficiently? If yes, care to share the settings and what the energy consumption/hashing speed will result?
I have my units in hosting, so cannot play with settings as easily as with SP20 at home.

I tried a quick test and I used start voltage .60 and set the max PSUs to 750W and it worked just fine. Can't remember stats because as I said it was just a quick test. Maybe I will have more spare time in week-end.
