Why did monero get removed from coinmarketcap.com? Because of change in ticker?

I see it just fine on coinmarketcap. And yes it was removed because of the change.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 06, 2014, 12:33:10 PM
I don't mind this low price at all. i just hope it stays low for a while, while I sell my other cryptos to stock up.
I don't sell them at 650000 and watch them drop to 200000 ..You don't mind..but. I do mind

If you thought that they were worth having at 650000, why don't you buy more as at 200000 they are a bargain?

Maybe you are right..Buy I have no more BTC... Cry

See thats the problem. You are going all in at the time of hype? What do you expect? How can you put everything in exackly at the hype peak? Just because people on poloniex were saying "omg moon" and "buy buy buy" ?

0.0065 was too high for the time being. Monero is solid coin, with solid tech and with many devs. Monero will rise. It needs more markets and actual stuff to buy with it! You havent lose anything except if you sell now. Believe me if you sell now you are going to make me happy Smiley But you can always go and gamble in whatever pump and dump coin you like or just wait...
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Aeon coin - CryptoNight - CPU only on: June 06, 2014, 12:18:21 PM
hmm, what about waiting that the 2 others launched recently get to an exchange first...  Grin (yeah I know, who cares...)

lol why should they wait?

886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MNT] MountCoin // Need help write here on: June 06, 2014, 09:59:28 AM
MNT should be increased  https://minergate.com/

Simple mining tools and platforms.

good

man, are you stupid?

the new thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=640174

So stop write here and move on the new thread -_-

I think this coin is already dead, because we have 3 official thread and we are already in the hall of shame cause of that. The real investors and the bitcointalk community looks this coin like a sh*t now. Are you happy about it ?

@Dev, relaunch mountcoin or close this 2 useless threads otherwise i don't make the windows GUI. I don't want to waste my time to make a GUI for a coin who will die soon because there have 3 official threads opened.

You seem upset my friend. Have you invested in this coin by any means?

888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore MRO/QCN/FCN/BCN GPU Miner on: June 05, 2014, 07:26:21 PM
The whole idea of MRO "fair launch" is failed because of several large botnets. E.g., https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=639375.0

So Monero developers are not competent to make anything valuabel for CryptoNote at all. And the beneficiaries of the Monero launch are botnet owners. At least Bytecoin developers stake in mined coins can be seen as their reward and a way to stabilize the market, while the botnet dumpers are dangerous for Monero and all CryptoNote.

Aaaand, there was no premine, there was no scam. New evidence suggests so (see Bytecoin thread, pages 102 and on).

If monero is fail because of botnets why isnt Bytecoin too because of botnets?

Aaaand 80% of mined coins bytecoins were mine before this coin ever announced here or elsewhere on the internet. So yes its premined. But anyway, with 150 billions coins already mined at 5 satoshi price its already at about 5m$ cap. Price of BCN will never go past a few satoshis. And noone serious would invest in something a few people hold more than 80% ready to dump... BCN was probably started as a test coin and it should have stayed there...but someone decided to make a few BTC and made it public...

890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 05, 2014, 07:11:29 PM
A few questions:

1. What technically separates Bytecoin and Monero? Aren't they both using CryptoNote?
2. Why did Bytecoin die out and what will prevent Monero from doing the same?
3. Monero offers anonymity, but so does DarkCoin. Why would anyone choose Monero when DK has a larger community?
4. When will Monero get a GUI wallet (which anyone can install...) ?

Darkcoin isnt as anonymous as it is advertising. First of all it isnt open source which is a big NO. Secondly it relies on masternodes that not only must be paid but also can be hacked or just be bad guys... Cryptonote coins doesnt need masternodes and is opensource. Actually for now, on the matter of anonymity or privacy there is only type of serious coins and those are Cryptonote coins. Darkcoin and its clone are not relevant anymore. The only possible enemy in the matter of anonymity may be zerocash/zerocoin and we will see about that in 6 months or so when it gets out...
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 05, 2014, 07:01:19 PM
This is just one of the things that will make this coin go up 20X.  Easy, user friendly gift card integration.  Something like automatic www.GYFT.com card purchases, or debit card integration that has a magnetic strip so the POS terminal sees FIAT, but user is paying QCN, or QCN to BTC to FIAT.  The magnetic strip could be linked to a QCN wallet for instant withdrawal.

It's a good purpose. We've got a long way ahead before we can replace fiat in our everyday life.

You know, Monero is underfinanced and going slow as a glacier...
Three weeks on Poloniex and no GUI wallet in sight...
They prioritize back-end stuff because in their delusional minds they are battling with Bitcoin...
THEY WON'T EVEN ANSWER BASIC QUESTIONS FROM MULTIPLE INVESTORS.

Monero is Low Hanging Fruit.

If CryptoNight is the real deal...
Someone is going to blow past them in a few weeks.

So don't give up...
Get a proper GUI wallet out there ASAP...
And you will match their market price.

Dude the guy that made quazar will never make a GUI.  What he does is just copying monero. Oh and monero already have an experimental one. When monero GUI comes out someone will just copy it for quazar. Dont worry. Btw  even when monero pools were out he did not even make a pool. 5 days past for others to make a quazar pool...

If you want just a pump and dump coin there are plenty. Monero wont go hunting for the price only to get killed after the dump.

897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 05, 2014, 01:27:47 PM
Why no voting of XMR on mintpal

For now like this thread and post a comment https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/4000277700

And also try to send an email to bter

And also vote here https://usecryptos.com/voting

And there are a plethora of other small exchanges to send an email...Remember someone has to actually send them an email or something. Dont wait for others to do it.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 05, 2014, 12:53:54 PM
why cannot trade on Polo today?

It has changed to XMR/BTC no MRO/BTC
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 05, 2014, 11:37:14 AM
Why should I invest in this coin, what makes it better than other coins?

It is not a bitcoin clone coin and its "anonymity" or "privacy" or whatever you call it is real and doesnt rely on masternodes that can be hacked or can be owned by malicious people. Oh and it is opensource.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 05, 2014, 10:45:11 AM
I'm seeing more and more people getting transaction size limit while sending Monero. So what is the problem here ? Transaction size depend mostly on number of inputs and outputs, not amount.

I guess this is because of the amount to be broken down into smaller transactions, i.e. 123.4567 => 100 + 20 + 3 + 0.4 + 0.05 + 0.006 + 0.0007. I think this way will increase number of inputs enormously. If this is corrent, Monero need some serious improvements otherwise it will be struggle on getting more adoption, we can't tell user to send coins in even amount of something like 100 XMR instead of 100.123456789 XMR.

the problem are many small inputs (eg pool payouts)
btw bitcoin has the same problem (just better pools)

So will this problem will be less seen while XMR continue growing ?

yes obviously. It doesnt even need to grow. Pools just need to limit payouts...
