881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holding BTC at this satge is a bad idea? on: December 08, 2018, 11:58:12 AM
BTC is showing weakness and loosing ground day by day I think it is the time for the investors to book profit who are on profit and minimize losses who already suffered a big loss. Can anybody enlighten me on this issue now?
The situation might not be clear righgt now, and it is unwise to make decision on what to do next without taking the time to see what will happen with therr current market, prices may have gone down by a significant amount, but bitcoin still the best investment out there and selling and quiting is not the awnser we already lost a lot and doing so will make it even worse, i personally i am still holdfing and will keep on doing so because i beleive that in the next couple of months we will see some improvments.

884  Economy / Economics / Re: ECONOMIC ANALYSIS/RESEARCH POLL: Cryptocurrency replacing fiat in the future? on: November 04, 2018, 12:12:20 PM
I think that governments will defiantly not allow cryptocurrency as they exist no to be used or replace the current fiat system that they have, and that is mainly due to the fact that they have no control over them, people may use them for the wrong reasons like money laundering for example and it would be hard for them to track them down, and for that if cryptocurrency were to be used in some form to replace the current fiat governments were to create their own digital currencies that they would have control over them and they can monitor them.

Well as good as this sounds and exciting and good for the bitcoin progression and investments, which is the case but to a certain point, because you have to take the fact that people don't prefer spending their bitcoin on these kind of micro transactions at least not on a regular bases, like you might buy it one or couple of times when it is available but than you will just forget about it or stop buying with bitcoin because it is better to save it or invest it in other things, so it might not have as much impact on the price of bitcoin as most people think, but it is a step toward the right path and will be something that might encourage other companies to do the same.
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Real places where you can spend your Bitcoins today on: October 23, 2018, 06:40:50 AM
No doubt that over the years that bitcoin has been out for, more and more people have become interested in investing in it which lead to many companies and businesses accepting, not just so their products appeal or attract to more and more customers but also so they get their chance in investing in it as well, that is why you don't see them just accepting bitcoin for payments.

889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the King ! Why ? on: October 04, 2018, 03:16:20 PM
Obviously one the biggest reason why bitcoin is so successful and is the king of the cryptocurrency is because it was the first, at the beginning people thought that it was an idea that is new and revolutionary so they started supporting it and given its limited supply its price increased over time, and that brought many other people who probably don't care about the core idea of bitcoin they just wanted the money, and that is something that you can't find with other cryptocurrencies, because their price is not high and the number of people supporting a certain crypto will always be negligible compared to bitcoin.

891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India is Exploring a Central Bank Digital Currency for Payments on: September 29, 2018, 10:14:46 AM
Hi guys
I would like to share this news with you
I do not know exactly what the impact of this news is.
What does it mean to you?

https://www.ccn.com/india-is-exploring-a-central-bank-digital-currency-for-payments/
Some people will think that this might be a great news, but for me i see that it is a total controversy to what cryptocurrency should be, because creating a digital currency that is only used local and controlled by the government means that is centralized means that it is controlled and monitored and that is not what cryptocurrency should be, if this means anything it means that they are trying to take a step toward digitilizing the current fiat currency, which means they would be able to create and issue fiat more than they would be able to do with the physical one .
892  Economy / Economics / Re: Asians are the most bitcoin holders in the world. on: September 22, 2018, 09:26:36 AM
bitcoin was born in Asia and the majority of users are also Asians. Is it true that the majority of bitcoin holders are Asians. anyone can tell me
First of all bitcoin was not born in Asia, just because its creator is called Satoshi Nakamoto does not make it Asian, besides bitcoin is supposed to be decentralized and spreaded around the world, however it is true that a great percentage of the the individuals that are using bitcoin at this time are mostly Asian, not that we are able to identify the source of transactions and what country are they are coming from, but a lot of people and businesses are supporting it and a lot of investments have gone into it more than any part of the world, for example if you go to japan you will find more restaurants or shops that accept bitcoin than you will find in the US, as for holding i would pretty much think that the majority of holders are not from Asia, there is no way to tell so but as i was saying, people who are able to spend their bitcoin more will probably be holding less than the people who don't have anywhere to spend it on, as the case in the US and in Canada.

894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is bitcoin doing better than bitcoin cash? on: September 21, 2018, 11:12:59 PM
In my experience bitcoin cash is a fork of bitcoin even BCH is faster and cheaper to use due to larger blocks but still it'a seen that most of the people are using BTC than BCH so why is bitcoin doing better than bitcoin cash?
Well bitcoin is and will forever be the king and the dominater of all cryptocurrency, not just because it was that was created and it was a new and interesting idea that all people wanted to support, but that also made its price go up significantly and made more and more people who don't even care about it invest in it for the money, and because of that it is a better investment than all the other cryptocurrencies.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin a Blessing to Palestinians on: September 21, 2018, 10:55:06 PM
It was earlier Venezuelans benefited from bitcoin and now its Palestinians turn. With no official bank and official currency, they had been suffering these uch days to transact money abroad and vice versa. But now, bitcoin has come as a blessing to them. Now they could have money transactions easily and fastly with other parts of the world. Its said that

“Bitcoin, in their opinion, is cheaper, safer, and quicker,”. Nothing works with Palestinian banks. Bitcoin wallets are alternative banks.”

       https://blockmanity.com/news/palestinians-sending-money-across-border-using-bitcoin/
We can't really compare the Venezuelans  and the Palestinians state the same, if there is no official currency issued by the bank that is because there is no bank, there is no government for them, they are in a constant war and political struggle, it is true that Bitcoin has a lot of potential but it is only for the ones that has access to it, and i think  that making international transactions is their least problem right now.
896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Survey Shows 80% Of Americans Have Heard Of Bitcoin on: September 11, 2018, 06:41:39 PM
I think that it is no surprise after last year's bitcoin rise a the popularity and the number of people that know or at least have heard about bitcoin has risen significantly, not just in the us but in the whole world, and this has lead to the number of people using it rising as well, and i am pretty sure if it was not for the hit that it took from governments after that it would have grown significantly both in price and in terms of investments.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD on: August 21, 2018, 05:28:40 PM
Newbies can easily be influenced from what they hear from speculations.. I've read several times people tend to advice to hold long term. because its easy for them to say JUST HOLD cause theyre not the one losing! For me its not all about holding, its being smart about your own invesment know when to stop and cut the losses.

What are your thoughts?
I think holding should be based on what you are investing in, for example bitcoin is one hundred percent worth holding and also holding it for a long time won't hurt because its value always keeps on going up, altcoins are a hit and miss because their value is always changing so if you are planing on holding them than you need to look at the charts and know exactly when they change and how they change.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think that the current situation will overcome soon? on: August 20, 2018, 09:16:38 PM
We all are waiting for a revolution like the last year. I believe this it will happen and I am also waiting. Traders and investors are eagerly waiting for this. At the end of this year, Bitcoin will hit at least $25k and Eth will hit $5k and I can't think anything without it anymore. This revolution is badly needed in this bearish situation.

What is your point about it?
Please share
I don't think that the situation that we have witnessed last year will be repeated this year again, because last year there were no regulation on cryptocurrency and the price rise that bitcoin had last year was welcoming for many people and big investors as well, but right now the price is going down and investors don't want to risk investing in something that might become banned by their countries at some point.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rupture of ETH bubbles on: August 20, 2018, 08:55:58 PM
The ETH value continues to decline to -17.93% at the moment, whether this decline is caused by investors monitoring warnings from a number of regulators and increasing crackdowns on the virtual currency market or perhaps just a glimpse of wind from the impact of economic law so that it has an influence big to projects being a scam?
Well no one can really tell what is causing this price drop, but it think that the recent price drop of all the cryptocurrencies has lead to many people dropping out of it and since the market has became flooded with shitcoins ICO projects have lost their popularity and probably that is why the price of the ethereum has gone down, but i am sure that this is not a permanent thing and probably by the end of this year ethereum will get back on its feet, so it is a great opportunity to buy more.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies will make you rich overnight? on: August 20, 2018, 08:41:18 PM
One investor says it's the only investment opportunity where a poor person can leverage skill and luck, and literally become a millionaire. So, do you think crypto can make us rich overnight?
It is totally possible to get rich over night with cryptocurrency, but it really requires patience and not being greedy, the cryptocurrency is really unpredictable and you can say that it is a double edged sword, as it can make you rich it could make you lose most of your money, take for example bitcoin where its price could change by hundreds of dollars in matter of hours.
