881  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] SINBAD.IO [Mix Your BTC Quickly] Signature Campaign | Up-to $225/w on: November 19, 2023, 02:18:50 PM
I would add the option that all participants participate in paying the fee, at least while the fees are high. There are 50 members in the campaign, deducting $1 from each to cover the fee is acceptable, and the total amount ($50) would certainly cover the costs.
Agreed, sharing transaction fee with Sinbad and all participants to get next block addition is the way to go!

Like they say, "A problem shared is a problem solved."
882  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Yo!Mix Bitcoin Mixer Signature Campaign| Reward up to $200/w on: November 19, 2023, 08:29:36 AM
Not part of this campaign but indirectly affected by virtue of coming from another campaign run by Royse.

As for the solution to the high transaction fees, I think @mikeywith suggestion of sharing/splitting fees is the best which guarantees high priority tx fees used and weekly payouts continue , and besides signature payouts have payment disclaimers embedded in them which don't make anybody liable should say wallet not get refilled and a month is a longtime, best to stick with the usual weekly payout structure, just my 2cents.
883  Other / Meta / Re: Should Merit-Sources use feelings when giving out Merit? on: November 17, 2023, 03:22:51 PM
Hey! I was thinking of something this night, this thing about merits and the merit-sources. If you are a merit-source, should you always give away merit to good posts even if you dislike the user that created the post?
Or are you allowed to be controlled by your feelings and only give away merit to people you like or don't know?
The brutal truth is if they don't like you, then chances are slim of receiving any from such sources Roll Eyes

Besides the only way around this is to try to make yourself visible to be noticed by the merit sources, but it gets ugly if he/she puts you on their ignore list meaning whatever meritable content you put out there won't be seen and you can not complain of any foul play as merit-sources have the discretion to send merit(s) to whoever they think is deserving!!

It's a different a user can give merit to whoever he wants, because it's his/hers own merit and they can do whatever they want with it. But a merit-source how should he act? Without feelings or with feelings?
Naturally, this service to the forum should be done without feelings but being humans we are prone to mixed emotions !!!

Btw You make this sound like a job of which they need to go through all threads to find all these good posts, which is unrealistic as everyone has a life away from the forum.

I don't trying to blame anyone, or create any drama and I am not disappointed with my low merits, I am quite happy and proud that I already got ten merit and being a member rank, so I am in no rush what so ever to rank up, I actually love the farming and the journey, because when and if I reach Legendary nobody can say I didn't earn it the right way.
Nothing tastes better than the fruit of your hard work, good luck BabyBandit.
884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the minimum amount of bitcoin or satoshi should hold for poor? on: November 17, 2023, 02:45:18 PM
This question doesn't sound right!

But AFAIK for example when bitcoin started off in its early days, anybody that bought $100 worth of bitcoin was considered liquid after 10plus years regardless of status as value multipled greatly to leave hodlers laughing all the way to the bank!!

Today, the strategy should be buy what you can afford regardless of financial status as this is a long term race...think of bitcoin like planting a tree🌲 that will mature in 10 or more years before the fruit is ready, once you plant the seed there is no going back .
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: November 17, 2023, 09:31:32 AM
Lost this round way too early, guess time to sack the manager to try to get better results before league concludes.

Congratulations @goodpunt, never thought Bulgaria and Uraguay would make this round an easy win for you..honestly feel scammed by that  Argentina performance Cry

Not a single participant of any division went against the odds in both events Argentina - Uruguay and Colombia - Brazil. Who would have thought that despite Colombia turning around that game there will be no more than 4.5 cards? And Argentina losing is also a surprise.

Usually, south American ball games draw way too many fouls to make it easy for the card market to see a good number of them shown, and with Brazil not having any fight left in them, it was inevitable cards shown would be low.
886  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies don't leave your coins in an exchange on: November 17, 2023, 07:09:19 AM
They say experience is the best teacher, and unfortunately many of us choose to learn from our mistakes because we believe we have a different orra of luck from those that had a bad experience with an exchange...

But when it comes to leaving coins on an exchange, I have mixed feelings about this...if a user is into p2p trading and this kind of business requires that it's up and running 24/7 , I honestly don't see anything wrong with having coins on the exchange as coins are constantly moving in and out, but if you get to use the exchange as a wallet to hodl coins for a long time or try to save on transaction fees, then whatever happens to your coins like a hack , exit scam or closure you have yourself to blame as your safety of your coins is better off in non custodial wallets.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever Thought of Giving Back to the Community? on: November 17, 2023, 06:47:00 AM
The fact that his giving total strangers I don't see this as giving back to the community but the real character of a person being a giver!

If this is giving back to the community, I would see this as an indirect way of actually encouraging people to gamble more and do the same when they hit some big winners..if not this user could be running some kind of tipster service of which this could be treated as a marketing strategy to get word out there!

Besides you know what they say... nothing in this world is free, somewhere somehow someone will pay for this.
888  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's better to provide Quality and not Quantity... on: November 17, 2023, 04:42:48 AM
Is that the reason why you are having 9 posts and 9 activities since 2018? It's annoying seeing this type of thread coming from newbies. I believe you can not even differentiate between a good quality posts and shit posts and here you are trying to teach others.
Totally agree with  you, no offence to OP...you can't have this little amount of  posts even if account is 5+ years  old and act as the expert around the forum, unless it's an alt  Roll Eyes !!

Btw, If someone is going to teach/recommend something to others then let them walk the talk and not  do things based on speculation. I guess that's why dzungmobile stated in the early  posts that "Newbies Stop Teaching When You Need To Learn."  this is because experience is the best teacher that everyone agrees too.
889  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it Hold? BTC Targets $40,000 on: November 16, 2023, 06:50:24 PM
Seeing how much Non-Farm Payroll(NFP) is affecting the crypto markets shows that the spot ETF could actually have a much bigger positive effect on the crypto markets considering its directly related to it...

And looking at how much momentum is currently in the markets, surely 40,000 dollars is just so near and we surely will be crossing over probably before the year ends and the bears can do nothing about it for now as they are watching from the sidelines for now. So anybody looking for a low this might be out low as a new ATH is on the cards.

Here is a good quote from Satoshi Nakamoto himself:

Congratulations Gladitorcomeback for achieving your Hero member rank and has been promoted to the Hero member pay roll. More heights to you.
Just so you know Hero member payroll is Legendary/Hero

For Gladitorcomeback its Sr. Member payroll, like its written just a post above yours!

Gladitorcomeback has been promoted to Sr. Member payroll.
Gladitorcomeback welcome to the club Cool.

Looking at how the rates are structured and users have been picked, is it possible to standardise rates into five categories:

  • Legendary payroll
  • Hero Member payroll
  • Sr. Member payroll
  • Full Member payroll
  • Avatar payroll

Could cause budget to jump up with Sr member payroll, guess we shall work with whats there...
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: November 16, 2023, 03:16:19 PM
Honestly it depends with the programming of the AI/bot, for example can it count cards as it's extra feature...

Otherwise the fact that it plays without emotions , and probably will follow an algorithm of " if ,then, else.." then it's more likely to survive the long term without having to play high risk tables which we humans can go on to play even with a bad hand in the name of a bluff...but all in all Bots can likely play better than us humans.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some rich person not interest about bitcoin for following reason on: November 16, 2023, 03:07:09 PM
A friend of mine is not interested in buying Bitcoin even after learning about it.
Because according to him Bitcoin is a small number of people who have a lot of Bitcoin. They can easily go down on the bitcoin market if they want to.
Bitcoin has been in existence close to 15years now, and we haven't experienced this easy downfall your buddy talks of.. besides when it comes to managing decentralized assets, the strength comes from the numbers which helps neutralize the power/command that a small group of users might have!!

So if our buddy wants to help in diluting this power that is with the small group of users, then getting in on bitcoin now will make a big difference.

@SAHASAN nice user name btw  Roll Eyes

899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conclusion after losing millions! that games are rigged. on: November 15, 2023, 03:34:59 PM
This video that has our millionaire gambler saying games are rigged lacks merit in his reporting!!!

Why didn't he add some screenshots showing his seed never changes, if this was the case a refund would easily be initiated by the casino!

And he goes on to say he gambles 20 hours straight without hitting anything, this tells me he is either jumping from one game to another which is a bad strategy if we consider RTP which should pay you for playing for a while on that game... otherwise key information is missing in this vlog shared!!

Hope his not a hired gun trying to discredit some Casino out there...
900  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lost of my capital has made me to have a change of mind about Bitcoin . on: November 15, 2023, 01:47:31 PM

Greetings to everyone, please i am new in this forum and I was directed by my friend to join the forum to get information and answers that I need to know about Bitcoin.
The challenge started when a friend introduced  cryptocurrency to me and I picked interest about it ,I  started making some researches on how to trade and invest in Bitcoin ,I downloaded candle stick bible as directed by my friend so I can have a good knowledge on how to understand the reasons for the formation of each of those candles  And the reasons for their existence,
I went through those stress to also learn how to analyze and also to know bullish and bearish moves ,to know when the market is trending and choppy but after all these processes and following those strategies I will still loose my capital .
Honestly what you experiencing is very normal and as a trader have got to a phase where I thought my strategy wasn't good enough and almost gave up altogether, but like they say practice makes perfect and this could be the case here... Keeping looking at more charts and sooner or later you will crack the code and increase your winning chances!!

Btw, just so you know when it comes to trading, you won't always win and the sooner you understand this the better your trading journey will be .

However, my question here is ' what is the best strategy to trade without losing my initial capital ?.
Please friends I need advice and answers to this question because I know we have crypto experts here in the forum who will assist me and also educate me on what I need to know about Bitcoin trading .Thanks .
Like I said earlier, losing is part of trading it's just a matter of getting your trading psychology right and practice good risk management to protect your capital.
